Never had such a bad meal!! We absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant!

I don't understand all the good reviews at all. First of all, the service was very unfriendly. We also had to wait a long time for someone to come to our table. And finally, the food was completely inedible. So, it was the first and last time.

Absolutely the best red Thai curry sauce and the wonton soup is simply amazing.

We visited with our little daughter. The service was very slow; it took 15 minutes for us to even acknowledge them. Our two-year-old daughter was given a fork and knife that were far too big. I'll be a bit of a food fluencer soon :-). I have no idea what the rest of the menu is like, but if you're in the area, try the Peking duck for two at this restaurant. I think it's highly recommended, especially if you love flavor and texture.

Even one star is too many here! It's a complete mystery to me how this restaurant can get an average rating of 4.7. The duck tasted old and the sauce was hopelessly oversalted. The beer was warm. There's more, but sorry...

After a long day of sightseeing, we treated ourselves to a three-course meal of "real" Peking duck. I've never eaten Peking duck like that before; it was incredibly delicious and personally carved at our table by the chef. It was definitely my culinary highlight of the year.

The wait was far too long, and the vegetables were completely uneatable because they weren't cooked properly. Not worth recommending.

Communication isn't their strongest point. Were we given a different menu than the one we ordered? Were we deliberately ignored? After 20 minutes, they brought the bill while we waited, thinking we were still getting our food. We ended up paying full price. Very bizarre.

Anyone who's hungry should avoid this place!! We ordered two sushi dishes (8-10 pieces each), and after about 55 minutes, we still didn't have our food. Guests who arrived 20 minutes after us were already served their food. After speaking to the server, they simply said they were so busy with Liferando that it would be ready in two minutes. When we were about to get up, our food finally arrived. They apologized, but this place is off-limits to us!

Came here after the good reviews but it was a huge disappointment. Especially the chicken soup. Quantity was very low for that price and there were barely even chicken in there! The ‘chicken’ was just skin fat, couldn’t even stomach it. I’ve never seen something like this. It raises huge questions concerning quality since the prices are quite high and yet they still want to cheap out and not even put decent chicken meat in there. We also had the wantan soup (both soups were cold) and it taste just like the chicken soup with little wantans in there. Huge disappointment, totally do not recommend. Service was also very rude and they did not even acknowledge us, we had to really try to get their attention. There are much better restaurants out there.

I had the chef's salad: it's supposed to be grilled scallops, lobster, and co. with salad???? The shellfish were just water, and the vinaigrette was very boring! In short: €19 for that??? A disgrace! Never again!

Just the number. Ordered 58 & nr48, these are considered the most popular dishes. Never been served such an audacity. What exactly is that supposed to be? Price performance = dirt.

We were still looking for restaurants in the area that were open. We hadn't found anything elsewhere, but here I asked if the kitchen was still open. (until 10:30 p.m.) Even though the restaurant was almost empty, we received immediate service. On top of that, the food was great, the starter was there quickly 29. Stay together and hot, not long afterwards the main course 52. Go bao and 53. Chili temptation was also hot, tasty and beautifully served. We were full and the price-performance ratio was right.

They don't know Kirr Royal here even though they put it on the map. You only get the kirr but not the bubbles that need to be added. Aperitif is therefore very expensive. A menu for 2 is more likely a menu for 2 children and not for 2 adults. When leaving the business they said goodbye and I said I don't think so.

We ordered two meals, worth €50. The portions were laughably small (about like small bowls of cereal). When asked whether something had gone wrong, there was no insight. That is absolutely normal.

Mega delicious aloe vera juice very refreshing

Very tasty food! The drinks, especially the aloe vera juice, were very refreshing. The waiters were also very nice. The food is a bit expensive but it's okay. The only thing I didn't like were the flies inside. You could sit inside and outside, and a fly inside was annoying as hell! But I can recommend it.

The atmosphere is very pleasant and modern. The food is of top quality and tastes just like in China.

We always come here for authentic Chinese food. There is a great selection of classic dishes such as Mapo Tofu and numerous vegan dishes. We recommend Tofu Pot, Claypot Spicy Eggplant and Dry Pot Cabbage to our friends! We would love to eat here every day. The restaurant is often less busy in the afternoon, which is why it is a particularly great place to go if you want to eat spontaneously.

Despite a delay of about 45 minutes, they apologized very politely both on the phone and in person upon delivery. As a small token of appreciation, they even included an extra gift with my order – a truly nice gesture! What clinched my 5-star rating, however, isn't just the friendly service, but above all the quality of the food: It was absolutely delicious and definitely worth the wait. Many thanks to the team – I'll be happy to order again!

Nice restaurant right next to Porta Nigra with good Asian food. The fact that you sometimes sit right next to the sidewalk and everyone can see in is a bit annoying and the service wasn't very motivated. Still delicious food

Stylish restaurant with a view of the Porta Nigra. The lunch menus are freshly prepared, tasty, plentiful and inexpensive. I paid €45 for 2 people with drinks and tip. The service is friendly and quick.

My steak was raw and chewy. (I ordered Crispy Beef Tenderloin.) It wasn't crispy at all and I don't expect that from a tenderloin. The meat should be crumbly and crispy. But this... and that's why they asked 20.90 EUR? A joke. The fries tasted like used oil and were absolutely not crispy. He was limping like a dead fish. The owner did not return the money when I complained. I will never eat here again, this was my first and last. For €60, I would expect something else! I do not recommend that anyone eat here, the service is not nice either.

The chicken chop suey was very good! If requested with fresh chillies it was perfect! We didn't like the beef with peppers...but it's probably a matter of taste...the fried noodles instead of rice were ok, but unfortunately the noodle version was very thin...since the chop suey and edamame were very good, for the meal anyway 4 stars... the service was very friendly and it was very comfortable to sit here... All dishes without glutamate! 👍 UPDATE: At the end of November the food was unfortunately no longer good... hardly any vegetables and too much meat... also very salty

I spontaneously went to this restaurant for the first time. The atmosphere is very pleasantly luxurious and cozy. The interior is harmonious. The meal was excellent. No bland taste but gourmet food at its finest. Prices are fair not expensive. The service is excellent and the staff is attentive and friendly. I will definitely come again. :)

Even though I am the owner of a smartphone, I would still like to have a menu or drink menu so that I can see how much the food and drinks on offer cost. I don't want to use a QR code for this. If I had known the prices beforehand, I would not have visited this restaurant. A water and a cola 8.10 euros. I think it's a bit exaggerated.

Impossible service! We didn't even get to eat

That's a joke, I ordered food 3 hours ago and I'm constantly being told off on the phone that the food will be there in a few minutes. At Lieferando you simply state that the food has already been delivered. Now they don't answer the phone anymore. I will never order here again. Would give 0 stars if I could.

The servers have a habit of getting confused with the orders and ended up delivering a wrong order with no apology. Food is average at best and not worth the money.

We have been there many times and we have always been satisfied. We were there this evening, but unfortunately the employee was very, very unfriendly to us, I have no idea why! We also had to pay immediately!! She brought us our order and told us straight away that we had to pay now!! Like we were running away!! That was very annoying. Never again!

Worst experience. The waitress and the manager are both racist. Got us wrong orders and then yelled at us for eating it. Also charged us wrongly. (We ate it because we thought it was our order) Won’t recommend it - neither for tourists or natives.

Praise for "not offering" a buffet; when it comes to buffets, quantity counts instead of quality. The food was excellent, lovingly prepared, the staff competent and friendly. The atmosphere and the ambience round off the overall impression positively. The waiting times for starters and main courses are reasonable, it's not a snack bar. I was a guest at lunchtime and will repeat this at the weekend evening. We recommend!!!

Worst Chinese food I have ever eaten! Nice place and good location! Found there on the recommendation of a local guy. Smells nothing! Ordered steak (my favorite). The meat was unrecognizable! Gelatinous, gray mass! Probably marinated in glutamine and bicarbonate! Tasteless and foamy texture! Put in an oily sauce with loads of chilli (dried and large pieces) that tasted like paper, changed the meat to chicken….. not much better! Ordered red dry wine - got white something on the sweet side! Talked to table neighbors who also got the wrong order but couldn't bring themselves to tell the waitress! Big disappointment! Not a cheap place!

An absolute must in Trier! Located right next to the famous Porta Nigra, this Chinese restaurant offers an excellent selection of authentic dishes. The quality and freshness of the ingredients are excellent and the dishes are prepared with great attention to detail. Particularly noteworthy are the Beef Royal, Mapo Tofu, Crispy Duck and the aromatic Sichuan dishes. The service is always friendly and professional, the atmosphere is inviting and cozy. If you are looking for a real taste experience in Trier, you have come to the right place. Unreservedly recommended!

The food there was fantastic! The Peking duck is a must-have! It’s perfectly roasted with crispy skin. Dining with the incredible view of Porta Nigra adds a special touch to the meal.

They have different prices between the outside and inside menu. 9 euro for a 200 gram soup is crazy.

TERRIBLE! We reserved a table for 5 people at 8:30 p.m. When we arrived at 8:33 p.m. nothing was available. The two service staff totally ignored us. Luckily, some of the people at a table of four were paying for free. After the lady cleaned it with lots of disinfectant, leaving the rice behind, 4 of us were allowed to sit down. I was assigned a seat at the next table without asking the couple sitting there. (I was very uncomfortable) Later (about 20 minutes) the couple left and the tables were pushed together. Lousy, unfriendly service. The food was lukewarm and sober, but very greasy and expensive. Hardly any vegetables. Next time I'd rather have a piece of dry bread to eat. Thanks for nothing.

So we called there to get our food or money. 10 minutes later the MANAGEMENT is at my door and threatens to call the police because it was our mistake and we were cheating. The manager spoke to us in such a disrespectful and derogatory manner that at some point I said to myself that she should call the police When they arrived, the woman was suddenly the nicest woman in the world and still couldn't see that we were in the right and would like our money back because the food was ultimately delivered to an 80-year-old man with dementia from a supplier who couldn't even handle himself Foot can communicate in German was handed over. Of course the police agreed with us and there was a lot of fuss about this €70, which was only paid back with great reluctance. Well, something like that has really never happened to me before. That a restaurant owner immediately sets the police on you because you delivered the wrong thing. I can only strongly advise anyone who doesn't want to have the police rushed on their neck to order something there and to avoid this store.

It would have been nicer to write that you don't feel like delivering to your home and not canceling 10 minutes before our food arrives! If you are looking for a GOOD Chinese restaurant in Trier, Z&B is the best choice. The food is great. The quality is 100%. There are also dishes that you won't find at any other Chinese restaurant. The staff is very nice, but every now and then they have a problem with some German words and you just have to explain a bit or use different words. I can only recommend

Ich wollte meine Tochter hier ausführen, aber leider war die Ente ein Desaster! In einem Imbiss schmeckt es besser als hier… Preis-Leistung geht also gar nicht! Außerdem war es lauwarm & hatte einen komischen Geruch. Schade, denn von außen sah es wirklich schön aus. Zum Essen kommen wir hierhin nicht mehr.

Ho avuto una brutta esperienza in quanto, ho chiesto al cameriere se il piatto fosse piccante…in poche parole il sugo era molto piccante nonostante il cameriere ha detto di no.. Conclusione, non ho mangiato, una seconda cameriera mi ha detto che gli spiace ma non può fare nulla, il conto è stato pagato per intero.

Ich muss sagen ich bin mehr als enttäuscht. Obwohl mir bereits gesagt worden ist dass das Essen nicht das Gelbe von Ei ist wollte ich dem Restaurant ein Chance geben. Für einen besonderen Abend waren mir zunächst die Preise egal. Der Service war an unserem Abend genervt, kühl und unsymphatisch. Wir mussten auf unser Essen lange warten. Meine Begleitung hatte ein Fisch bestellt welcher meiner Meinung nach mehr als alt war. (Ich gehe sehr oft Fisch essen) .Sie konnte auch nur ein Bissen nehmen. Den Rest mussten wir zurück geben da er alleine von Geruch unangenehm war. Hier zahlst du wirklich wie oft beschrieben für den Platz an der Porta Nigra. Spart euch lieber das Geld , es gibt genug Restaurants die den Besuch um weiten mehr verdienen . Das einzig positive war , dass wir für das Essen nicht zahlen mussten.

Wirklich schönes Ambiente mit Blick auf die Porta Nigra. Leider kann der Service da absolut nicht mithalten. Wir haben auf die 3. Person gewartet und in der Zeit wurden wir nicht nach Getränken gefragt. 30 Minuten später bin ich dann selber an die Theke gegangen und habe was bestellt…

Ambiente ist gemütlich und modern. Essen war sehr lecker und preiswert die suppen schmechen supper und sind für den kleinen hunger perfekt! Getränke auswahl ist riesig !

Es war uns zwei Abende ein großes Vergnügen. Und der Hammer war die Pekingente am 2. Abend. Ein kleines Event und der Geschmack..... eigentlich mag ich Ente nicht so gerne. Aber die Teilung in Vorspeise und Hauptgang ließ selbst mich schwärmen. Wirklich zu empfehlen auch wenn es etwas Zeit in Anspruch nimmt.

Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend, es kam jedes von den 4 Gerichten anders angerichtet an den Tisch . Meine Familie war sehr zufrieden.

Mooi terras aan de fontein en het bloemenperk. Het eten was goed van smaak en de opmaak erg netjes. De porties niet overdreven groot, daardoor kon ik gewoon 3 gangen eten zonder te vol te zitten. Het ging niet supersnel; heb ongeveer 2 uur daar gezeten lekker met een boek en het uitzicht. Klein aandachtspuntje voor de keuken: in de springrolls met duck zaten meerdere stukjes bot. Dit zou eigenlijk niet moeten bij een restaurant in dit segment.

Nach mehreren Besuchen können wir sagen: guter Service, schickes Restaurant, tolle Terrasse und durchweg sehr gutes Essen. Alles frisch zubereitet und qualitativ hochwertig. Preis/Leistung angemessen. Fazit: Eines der besten asiatischen Restaurants der Stadt.
