Bistro Golden Dragon in Trier

I eat here regularly. The food is always good (I especially like the Pho Bo). I always receive friendly service, and the atmosphere is authentic. You can watch the hustle and bustle at the train station while you wait for your food. Honestly, I don't understand the bad reviews; the restaurant delivers exactly what it promises.

Simply authentic and a good snack bar. I don't understand why people expect service here that's comparable to a 5-star restaurant; that wouldn't even fit here. You're greeted nicely and get delicious food at a good price – that's all you need.

I've known the Golden Dragon restaurant and its owners, Mr. Duc and Ms. Thi, for about ten years. I used to go there regularly for work and usually ordered the fried noodles with duck. After changing jobs, it took a full six years before I visited again. The typical smell of frying oil is noticeable as soon as you walk in, and the price tags look a bit worn, but that doesn't bother me. The portions are large, and the food is still consistently delicious. Somewhat unusual: there's no children's table. This is probably because the owners don't have any children of their own. However, this has absolutely no impact on the quality of the food. You should just be prepared to wait a little while for a simple noodle dish with duck; you can easily wait 30 minutes. In conclusion: A classic Asian takeaway – down-to-earth, honest, and with large portions. If you're not looking for a fancy atmosphere but good food at fair prices, this is the place for you.

A very good Asian snack bar, perfect when you're in a hurry. The portions are incredibly generous, and the staff, especially the woman, are very friendly. I come here regularly, or sometimes I call, and I can pick up my food within 15-20 minutes.

Best Asian in Trier. Service is always friendly, super flexible (if you want something less spicy, for example), everything is always made fresh and you never wait longer than 10 minutes. Not a restaurant for lingering, but for delicious quick food!

The restaurant has a very nice location, right next to Hbf and Bus bahnhofs. Temporarily giving it a 4* rating, I'll update the review later if I try it someday.

Here the fried rice is always made fresh after ordering - quickly fried at high heat. When it comes to the table, it is still steaming. That's right! That's exactly how it has to be. In many Asian restaurants, fried rice or noodles are often prepared in large quantities in advance just to make things quicker.

The worst Chinese restaurant ever. Never seen such rude people. They just don't have the manners on how to treat guests. Avoid this place at all costs.

Very nice meal, authentic tastes eith good service

The food was very inexpensive and still quite tasty. I ordered number 30 to take away. The chicken was juicy, the vegetables were fresh and the sauce was really tasty. The rice had good flavor but was a bit dry. Sticky rice would have been better here, but was well balanced by the sauce. Unfortunately the packaging in the bag came apart, causing the sauce to spill into the bag.

Small bistro restaurant - very simple with no frills. Fresh, very tasty food is prepared here for everyone to see (open kitchen in the restaurant). I love the Kung Bao and the Thai curry dishes - simply great! Great selection, fair prices. We always like to go there on our lunch break from the Trier North industrial area. The operating family and employees are friendly, appreciative and hospitable to everyone, even if there are unfortunately numerous dubious reviews circulating here!

This is how I rated the shop three years ago ****Fresh, quick, delicious.....very friendly operators, food cheap..... In the "Asian snack bar" category... 10 out of 10 points.... 😋 👍****.......now it's been a long time since I've been back and had fried noodles with duck 🦆... And fried finger food.... wonton and lompja or something... There's nothing to say about the fried food ... Asia cross hot .... But with the noodles hmmmm..... I ordered and waited for the food ... Something smelled bad during the preparation .... I didn't think anything ... it's from outside or something like that.... But because I was full of finger food, I wanted to save the noodles to eat them the next day....ok, I didn't have the noodles in the fridge for eight hours, but in the morning it smelled the same as in the store and was noticeable slimy and greasy... really disgusting... I don't think I'll give the store another chance and go somewhere else... Should have left when the store smelled...

Gebratener Reis mit Hünchen 9,80€ für die Region teuer . Aber dei Qualitaet stimmt
