Were there today for the lunch buffet and for the last time!!!! The quality of the food is so poor. For the money there are definitely better buffet restaurants in Trier and the surrounding area.

Massenabfertigung für Deutsche, die Asiaten selbst würden so einen Fettkram nicht essen..... fettige Soßen, jede Menge Frittiertes. Klar, Fett ist ein Geschmacksträger, aber Fett macht auch satt ;-) Mayoflasche steht auf dem Büffet umgeben von Hitzewolken der Speisen, die Salmonellen lassen grüßen!!! Nachtisch - alles total überzuckerter Fertigkram. Seit Jahren immer das ein und selbe Mittagsbuffet. Salatdressing aus dem Tetrapack, und, und, und..... also asiatische Küche geht definitiv anders!!! Abend-Buffet voll teuer geworden, viel zu teuer für das, was geboten wird !!!

All you can eat for a fixed amount of €25.90 p/p and if you waste food you will be charged €5 extra, which is fine. The atmosphere is reasonable, no air conditioning but a fan on a stand at the end of the large dining room. The chef who prepares your chosen meat and fish is waving his head with a piece of cardboard, not a fresh face. The food was reasonable, much of it was still half frozen in the buffet area, including some of the sushi, which was not fresh.

Service is still good, the staff is very nice! Unfortunately, the food no longer tastes good. We got to the buffet at 1330 and the selection was poor, dishes were no longer refilled, so we had expensive fried noodles for lunch 🙈

Typical Chinese restaurant, everything is actually freshly prepared, clean and a large selection at the buffet. Dessert could be expanded, but also the classic offerings of fruit, ice cream, pudding and sweets or small pieces of cake. We really enjoyed the buffet and Mongolian grill. It wasn't crowded either, but it got busier as the evening went on.

If I compare this puffee what we hae in Finland Helsinki for less money...it is very poor. Specially the suschi buffee is a joke. But ofcourse you dont have to leave feelung hunry. There is always something ypu also like..little 😅

Great rich buffet. But somehow the taste is no longer as good as last year. I was so looking forward to the sushi 🍣, but this time we were disappointed. Staff is super friendly as always. Today it was completely full, but the service was very attentive and the buffet was always replenished. Unfortunately the cake is always frozen so it cannot be eaten.

Was ich gestern Abend im China City gegessen habe war grenzwertig. Abends soll es besser sein. Die Ente war in der Pfanne (so sah es zumindest aus ) gebraten. Wahrscheinlich vom vorherigen Buffet übrig. Trocken und kein bisschen rosa wie Ente sein soll. Die anderen Speisen waren kalt. Fisch wie Gummi. Der Preis von 25,90 Pro Person für dieses Buffet übertrieben. Danke , so schnell nicht wieder.

The buffet was a complete failure. Unfortunately the worst buffet we have ever visited. There wasn't much choice and unfortunately the food didn't taste good either. For dessert there was ice cream, some canned fruit, orange pieces and small bowls of pudding. Even the ice cream matched the rest of the food. Very watery and tasteless. The whole thing for 48€!! 2 adults with a toddler and 2 large cokes.

It is a typical all you can eat Asian buffet. Nothing special and nothing good. Plenty of the dishes were cold. Quality of the meat was bad. Some of the meat for the grill looked like it will soon start to walk on its own. It is not even cheap. We will avoid the place in the future.

Went to China City on St. Nicholas Eve. The food from the buffet was great. But they also had a lot of ideas with the visit of Santa Claus. It was a great evening. Thank you very much 🤩 Went to China City with friends for lunch today. As always, we were thrilled with the quality and selection of the food. There were some new dishes that were very well received by us. The new sushi variations in particular were a taste experience. We will be back!

I like it here, food is typical of Chinese restaurants. I liked it. Considering the price of the buffet, the selection is very good. Prices are fair, good value for money. I personally find the atmosphere nice. Excellent for meeting friends during the week, quite busy on weekends.

We were there for lunch and didn't eat the buffet, which might have been a better choice. The dishes we ordered were okay, but I would prefer the buffet next time.

We ordered by phone for the first time today and picked it up ourselves. Before that we had eaten in the restaurant countless times. The menu is available online and you only need to enter the selected dish number when ordering. Then you will be told how many minutes you can pick it up. It is also delivered, but we live outside of this delivery radius. When I picked it up, the food was still very hot, as if it had just come off the stove. So it was no problem to enjoy the food hot at home after the drive home. It was very tasty and plentiful so that we were more than full.

Outrageous😡🤬😤 incredible! #the last time We were there again today after 2 years, although it wasn't 100% back then. There were 6 of us and we had a buffet for around €18 each plus drinks. NOTHING HAS CHANGED at the buffet, STILL THE SAME. We had to wait 25 minutes for drinks and ordering again was very complicated because no one really cared about us as guests. Since we are NOT WASTHLERS, we only filled our plates to the extent that we were hungry or just something to try. Since the duck was very fatty and the meat was dry and, like the beef and lamb, rather gristly, it was left on a plate. When it was cleared away, THE YOUNG MAN SAID GET AWAY NEXT TIME WE SHOULD ONLY GET ON THE PLATE WHAT WE ARE EATING. I FIND IT EXTREMELY OUTRAGEOUS TO TELL YOUR GUESTS WHAT THEY ARE HAVING TO EAT. WE LEFT OVER €150 AND I GOT SUCH A STUPID SAYING AT THE END... We definitely won't come here again!!!

Had a wonderful meal. Did not choose the buffet; however, the fried duck was a good sized portion for a reasonable 12.5e. Two of us ate for less than a single buffet price. Would definitely come back.

I like to eat there with my wife. The buffet is varied. From soup to main course and dessert, everything is included. The sushi is also delicious. The staff is polite and nice. I also think it's good that in addition to the buffet you can put together your own personal meal, choose the sauce and then have it freshly cooked.

I ate there with my family and unfortunately we were disappointed. Half of the buffet wasn't stocked at all and the fields that were available with food were mostly empty. My grilled food arrived at my table almost cold. Dessert was almost non-existent apart from a few gummy bears, boxed marble cake and canned fruit. The little food that was there tasted okay, but I expected a little more for €82 for three people. When I brought this up at the end, the condition literally didn't seem to matter. There will be no further visit there.

Dies war nicht unser erster Besuch, könnte aber der letzte gewesen sein da wir beide nach einer knappen Stunde Magenverstimmung hatten... war dann wohl kein Zufall! Mal davon abgesehen bringt der Koch bzw. Köchin es immer wieder fertig beim Mongolischen Buffet Sachen durcheinander zu schmeissen, Muscheln die man ausgewählt hatte sind verschwunden, dafür tauchen dann beim Erhalt des Tellers neue Sachen auf. Und dies hat nichts mit hohem Andrang zu tun, es waren gerade mal 4 Leute gleichzeitig an der Kochplatte...

Unfortunately, the trip to the Chinese restaurant was not only a culinary but also a financial disappointment. The prices were higher than the quality of the food, and the selection of dishes seemed shorter than the ingredient list on an instant noodle cup. One can only hope that the chefs' sense of humor is better than their cooking skills - because unfortunately the latter were underwhelming with soy sauce.

We were 2 adults and 3 children under 12 and in the end the woman thought we were lying and was very unfriendly.

Very good buffet selection at lunchtime, constantly replenished, also a wide selection of sushi 🍣, very tasteful! We've been there several times for lunch, and we think the selection on the weekend at the so-called "Mongolengrill" is even better!!

There is a large, comfortable smoking area here that is very well air-conditioned. We always reserve a table for the smoking area because almost all of us are smokers, so it's much more comfortable. Oh and if it's someone's birthday and you let them know, there's also a cake 🥳🤗

Wir waren zum Mittagsbuffet dort. Für 14,90€ sehr große Auswahl. Besonders gut finde ich, daß verschwenderischer Umgang der Speisen geahndet wird und man dann eine Gebühr bezahlen muss. So landet wenigstens nicht soviel im Müll. Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Eigentlich 4 sterne aber hab keinen glückskeks am ende bekommen deshalb nur drei

Waren vor Corona regelmäßig dort essen. Damals hat das Buffet pro Person 15€ gekostet und daher war das Preisleistungsverhältnis in Ordnung. Geschmacklich war es mittelmäßig, aber gemessen am Preis halt in Ordnung. Jetzt sind es 26€. Das ist fast eine Verdopplung des Preises! Ja, Inflation hin oder her, aber wir haben keine Inflation von 80%. Die Energiepreise (Strom) sind auch wieder auf dem normalen Niveau. Wie kommt der Preisaufschlag zustande? Gemessen an dem Preis ist die Qualität nun nicht mehr gut genug. Die Nachtische sind billige Discounter Ware. Die Qualität des Essens hat auch nachgelassen. Zusätzlich wird man angemault / schief angeguckt wenn einem was nicht schmeckt und es entsorgt werden muss... Tut mir leid, aber wenn die Qualität eines Gerichts eben nicht gut genug ist, was kann der Kunde denn dafür? Man bezahlt für 4 Personen inkl. Getränke 130€... Und da wird man schief angeguckt wenn was liegen bleibt. Man isst sowieso nicht so viel dass man in einem anderen Restaurant wirklich mehr bezahlt. In anderen Restaurants stimmt wenigstens die Qualität. Da brauche ich auch kein Buffet... Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder.

Wir fanden das Buffet sehr gut. Gute Auswahl, schneller Service und sauber war es auch. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ,wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Wir waren schon oft im China City, besonders vor Corona. Nach ca. 3 Jahren wiedermal da gewesen und über die Zustände erschrocken, als wäre eine Schweineherde am Buffet gewesen und niemanden vom Personal hat dies interessiert. Mongolisch war ok, Sushi nicht lecker, chinesisch katastrophal und der Nachtischbereich ein Witz..... und dafür 26 Euro? Unser Fazit: Nie wieder! Es gibt viel bessere Alternativen z.B. Mongole, Gourmet Tempel, etc, die vor allem ihr Geld wert sind.

Essen war ganz gut und es gab viel Auswahl. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Preis aber viel zu teuer! Habe für den ganzen Abend 35€ bezahlt: 1x Buffet + 2x Eistee. Für die Hälfte kann man auch gut woanders essen gehen.

Die Bedienung war freundlich.Das Essen war kalt.Es war leider jetzt schon das zweite Mal innerhalb eines halben Jahres.Das Eis sah so widerlich aus.Nach heute, werden wir nicht mehr dorthin zum Essen gehen.

Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Nur leider auch teurer. Dafür zum Abschluss, Pflaumenwein und Glückskekse.

Also es ist nicht mehr das was es mal war wir waren immer sehr gerne hier aber mittlerweile leider nicht mehr Preise sehr krass angezogen essen ist auch nicht mehr so lecker wie es mal war und das Personal war so unfreundlich

Wir waren schon einige Male dort, leider hat sich der Preis auf 25,50€ Pro Person erhöht, das steht leider nicht mehr im Verhältnis zu dem, was man für diesen Preis erwarten könnte; geschmacklich ist es leider auch nicht mehr so (Rindfleisch, Schweinefleisch fehlt ganz;) leider werden wir dort nicht mehr hingehen.

All you can eat ist das beste überhaupt. Essen ist sehr gut. 👍 Service ist auch sehr sehr gut und sehr freundlich. 👍 Ambiente ist genau nach dem China style hergerichtet. Ich fühle mich dort wohl und wie, als ob ich in China wäre. 😆 Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen 👍

Es gibt wirklich alles, was man braucht und das in guter Qualität. Essen ist appetitlich angerichtet, lecker und frisch. Service schnell und zuvorkommend. Toiletten sauber und ordentlich. Wenn es noch etwas andere Musik gäbe, vielleicht etwas asiatisch angehaucht, wäre das echt gut. Kommen gerne wieder.

Aso früher 2021 z.b hat essen besser geschmeckt und Personal freundlicher ,war mindestens 5 mal schon da ,das letzte mal im Oktober 2023 und das war mein letztes mal ,entweder ist der Besitzer gewechselt oder Chef Koch da läuft ordentlich was schief.!!!!! Solange es so weiter läuft ,empfehle ich nicht! Muss natürlich jeder selbst entscheiden ob er geht oder nicht.

Fahren seit einigen Jahren immer wieder gerne dort hin. Klar beim Buffet ist nicht immer zu 100 Prozent etwas dabei, aber dennoch eine gute Auswahlmöglichkeit und der Frische Grill ist tip top. Ich persönlich liebe die Mini-Frühlingsrollen, die Peking Suppe und überbackenes Gemüse sowie die Krabben. Nachtisch ist auch vorhanden und lecker. Manchmal ist das Dessert noch etwas arg kalt, aber vertretbar. Kann es nur empfehlen. Preise sind auch ok.

War sehr enttäuscht vom Essen, hätte man sehr viel mehr draus machen können, vor allem warm wäre schön gewesen. Es war einfach lieblos gemacht, die Soßen geschmacklich alle gleich. Die Rabatt Aktion für Online Besteller scheint zu funktionieren... Ein Lächeln gab es erst beim bezahlen...

Enorme tegenvaller. Wilden graag a la carte maar dat was een probleem. Iedereen nam buffet. Eten was slecht, vet en niet warm. Personeel om geïnteresseerd en onvriendelijk. Ook het eten van de bakplaat, zelf bordje samenstellen, dreef na bereiding in het vet. Eens maar nooit weer.

Am 05.12.22 sind wir Abends ins China City. Hier verbrachten wir einen tollen Abend. Das Essen vom Buffet war schon Spitze. Angebot und Qualität auf hohem Niveau. Aber was uns zum Nikolausabend geboten wurde war einmalig. Hier hat man sich wirklich bemüht den Kunden einen unvergesslichen Abend zu bereiten . Dafür vielen Dank

Das Essen war Gut aber die Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit war 0!! Hatte heute am 15/08/2022 eine Rassische und Diskriminierende Erfahrung gemacht , eine dunkelhäutige Frau und Ihre 4 Kinder wurden auf einen runden Tisch hingewiesen und haben sich dann dahin gesetzt, KEINE 4 Minuten später kamm der Chef und hat ihnen befohlen! aufzustehen und an den Tisch neben dran sich zu setzen da dieser Tisch der Stammtisch einer „ weisen „ Familie gehörte die erst 5 min nach der dunkelhäutigen Familie reingekommen sind . ( der Tisch war nicht reserviert!!) Das find ich so schrecklich!! Also ich gehe nicht mehr dahin !

Leider kann ich die Bewertungen nicht teilen. Wir waren an einem Samstag zum Abendbuffet da. Irgendwie war es völlig überlaufen und laut. Die Tische sehr dicht beieinander Das Fleisch vom Buffett war sehr trocken und irgendwie lieblos angerichtet. Geschmacklich kann man sich stritten. Das frische Fleisch war zäh. Für uns leider ein einmaliger Versuch - aber Zig andere können sich nicht täuschen..,.? Positiv: das Personal war sehr freundlich

Wir waren zum Abendessen dort. Das Buffet ist sehr reichhaltig und wird ständig nachgefüllt, lediglich die Auswahl beim Sushi und den Nachspeisen könnte etwas umfangreicher sein. Der Service ist hervorragend, leider ist dort durch die Räumlichkeit (ein großer Raum) der Lautstärke Pegel relativ hoch. Dies liegt aber auch daran, dass das Restaurant für sehr viele Gäste ausgelegt ist. Für Familien mit Kindern ist interessant, dass es zahlreiche Aquarien, ein Koi Becken und ein paar Schildkröten gibt, die die anwesenden Kinder begeistert beobachtet haben.

Ich habe hier das Mittags-Buffet ausprobiert und muss sagen, dass der Preis von 9,90 € unschlagbar ist. Wer jetzt glaubt der Preis würde mit mangelnder Auswahl und Qualität einhergehen irrt. Für jeden ist etwas dabei, die Wärmebehälter werden direkt wieder aufgefüllt. Mit den vier asiatischen Saucen kann man sich sein Wunschgericht nach eigenem Geschmack zusammenstellen. Empfehlen kann ich auch das Sushi, einfach und gut!! Da ich hier Mittagessen war habe ich das SHAOKAO Grill-Buffet nicht probieren können, ich muss also zum Abendessen wiederkommen :-)
