Yaprak Döner in Remscheid

Unfortunately, not the same anymore. The rice was slightly burnt and dry, the meat was not as tender and melted in the mouth, rather dry and gristly... so, for me, it was the last time. I expect it to be really good for the price, as there are better alternatives for the money.

I'm very disappointed with this shop. You pay a lot of money for the stinginess of the meat. The bread is dry from yesterday and very hard when eating kebabs. Never again!

Unfortunately, I was very dissatisfied with my Dürüm kebab. After about 1-2 hours, I had severe stomach pain and diarrhea. The price of €12 is far too high in my opinion, especially since the Dürüm apparently wasn't homemade and contained very little meat. I'm also not sure if it was actually veal; it looked more like white chicken. I didn't like the taste at all. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience.

The owner is completely unfriendly and also very loud and aggressive towards the customer. Even around a 2-year-old child, he doesn't even think it's necessary to curb his loud and aggressive tone. I find it completely incomprehensible how an owner can behave like this towards customers!! The quality of the food is top. But if you pay 11 euros for a kebab and don't get full because you literally have to look for the meat despite having twice the meat, then the calculation is not correct at all. And with sentences like "If you don't get full from one, then you'll just have to buy a second kebab, since those are our portions" I'd rather go eat somewhere else where you at least have the feeling that the price/performance and quality are right. The quality is good here, but having to spend 22 euros on 2 kebabs to get your fill is just audacious. It's a shame, but that was our last visit. The 2 stars are really only for the quality, but the rest wouldn't even deserve a star because there are simply better places in Remscheid where the price/performance and quality are still right.

Meat hard, cold and dry🫣for 2 doner plates 40 €

I usually enjoyed eating at Yaprak because it was the best kebab in Remscheid. Since the new owner took over, the meat hasn't tasted that good anymore; it's more like cheap meat, and for the price, it's outrageous; even Vatan in Lennep tastes better. The employees looked like they had no desire to work. Three of them were overwhelmed with six customers, and I had to wait almost 30 minutes for two kebabs.

Despite the new owners, the quality hasn't suffered. My family and I have been there several times and the food was great, as always. It tastes good, as always. I will continue to eat there or bring food for my colleagues. Keep up the good work. Thank you for your customer-satisfaction-oriented approach.

We'll definitely avoid that place. A little meat with fries, and my wife had meat with salad, and two drinks for €36. Where are we? That can't be right. I was looking for an "old-school" kebab shop and drove by specifically for this place, but somehow I wasn't really convinced. Service was good, and the white LEDs in the shop made me feel as if I'd arrived in a suburb of Istanbul. Food: Doner plate without sauce and extra bread. Bread: Good and crispy. Meat: Somehow too dry because it was too thin and "peeled off" (which is why it curls up). This way you can enjoy your food in a relaxed manner :)
