Yangda Restaurant in Karlsruhe

The taste of this Yangda is no longer the same as before. I personally think it is much worse. The food is also too expensive. Even taking inflation into account, compared to dönner, it is only 5 euros but has increased to 7.5 euros. I really can’t understand your direct increase from 6 euros to 12.5 euros. For example, even if the taste of home-cooked tofu becomes unpalatable, there is still no meat left. Everyone should go to Rheinland. Although the old master is no longer here, the taste is still strong. Of course, if you don’t know how to cook and just want to eat some Chinese food, I won’t say anything. Anyway, I probably won’t pay for it myself again. This place is no longer what it used to be! ! ! ! ! !

Very tasty food with a wide range of menus and variations. The service was quick and extremely friendly. At first we received the wrong dish, but it was immediately and easily exchanged for the correct one. My girlfriend and I even received a small gift (a bracelet each) – a very nice gesture! One negative point, however, is that unfortunately card payment is not possible. We still like to come back.

I felt that the restaurant waiters treated Chinese and white people differently, and as a Chinese, I felt very sad.

Nice restaurant with very tasty food! We ordered 2x crispy breaded chicken once with rice and once with noodles. Both dishes tasted very good, especially the crispy chicken. The sweet and sour sauce was also good. Very friendly staff. We'd love to come back!

The restaurant is located in the Kaiserpassage and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The service is very nice. The portions are ok - good value for money. Very authentic dishes. I had the sepia, this dish tasted very good. Nevertheless, I would come back at any time and try out the menu :)

Just as you walk past, a grim older gentleman, who clearly belongs to the restaurant, always sits in front of the restaurant at the entrance area around the clock and glares at the guests. He doesn't seem to trust his own guests. Ambience not good. We felt uncomfortable eating there. Food is ok mfg

Very nice selection of dishes and drinks. The food is served in large plates that are placed in the middle of the table. It's especially fun with 2 people or more because you can try a little bit of everything. A little tip: don't order fried rice or fried noodles again, but also food that you don't know. There is a large selection of food. Do the same with the drinks. There is also a large selection there.... Go there, feast and have fun.... The location is also great because although it is located right in the center of the city, there are still no pedestrian streets....

Beautiful location, service ok, but the food did not live up to expectations. The duck meat was overcooked. Too crunchy. Almost burned. More sauce was needed in the noodle so that everything didn't seem so dry.

Good Chinese restaurant with - as a Chinese compatriot assured me - authentic food. This doesn't have to be to everyone's taste, but if you want something authentically Chinese, this is the place for you. Request a special card. Prices are standard, very nice and courteous service. Places inside and outside - the latter cozy in the passage courtyard under tall trees.

I ate here with three friends and I was positively surprised by the food. The pork belly was so tender and delicious that I wondered if it was the best meat I had ever eaten. The prices are completely OK and the service was friendly, fast and attentive. The map is huge bu the colors were a bit too strong... All in one I would definitely go there again!

I went there after seeing a Korean review. With shrimp egg fried rice Both mapo tofu were very delicious. In particular, the shrimp and egg fried rice is full of fiery flavor. It was much more delicious than the one I had in Korea. The fried rice of my life... The staff are also friendly! I ate well and was full!!

Authentic and delicious Chinese food. Very friendly service. One of my favorite restaurants in Karlsruhe.

After a trip to Beijing I can only go for Chinese food here. It comes very close to the food experienced in Beijing, which cannot be said about other Chinese restaurants in Karlsruhe. But perhaps they also cook according to other regional habits. In any case, I like it here by far the best! However, the pig ears are very special and only recommended for experimental gourmets.

The mapo tofu was the most delicious I've had in Germany. Sancho and minced pork are added in moderation to create a harmonious and honest taste. The tofu was very soft. It was spicy but not salty, so it was very delicious, and I ate it until the end even though I was full. I went alone and ordered one person, but they gave me plenty of food. The food seems to come out fairly quickly after ordering. It could have been because it was a quiet time in the store. The outdoor seating was sturdy and clean, so I ate without any inconvenience. The staff has a family atmosphere and are generally friendly. I want to visit again when I come back to Karlsruhe.

Very tasty Chinese food. Their service is very quick. If you enjoy spicy food, the tiger salad is must try here, it’s very refreshing. The cucumber salad with garlic is a less spicy alternative. They can also do small changes to the dishes on request. I like their Mala Tofu with a slight kick of sichuan peppers. They accept only cash or EC-card payments here.

If I want to eat authentic Chinese dishes then I go to Yangda in Karlsruhe. A large selection on the menu and consistently delicious. The prices are fair and the employees are friendly.

The service is great. I wish the food was good as the owner but unfortunately not. I must say it’s the worst Chinese restaurant I visited in years. Soup that has taste like boiled water and chicken with red chili sauce that… I don’t want to continue… just look at the picture.

Yangda Restaurant is an outstanding Chinese restaurant with an impressive selection of dishes. I am always amazed by the variety and taste of the food. In addition to the various locations, they also offer a hotpot restaurant. In the passage courtyard, the dishes were placed in the middle of the table, as is customary in China. Everyone had a small plate and a bowl of rice, and we were able to share the different dishes with each other. It was a truly enjoyable experience where I was able to get to know new dishes. I have absolutely nothing to complain about and am already looking forward to my next visit with friends. I find the round table with the rotating carousel in the middle particularly interesting - maybe next time!

Außergewöhnlich leckeres Essen. Hat nichts mit dem "normalen" chinesischen Essen zu tun, was man sonst so kennt. Die Portionen sind riesig. (Am besten teilt man sich ein Gericht). Reis bekommt man ohne Aufpreis dazu. Das Essen kommt meistens sehr schnell. Ist für vegetarier bestens geeignet. Ich komme hier seit Jahren her und werde wahrscheinlich noch viele Jahre kommen. EC Karten Zahlung ist nun auch möglich!

War zum Mittagessen dort, hatten die gebratenen Nudeln mit Shrimps und den Tofu in Sauce. Essen wird in großen Schalen zum teilen für alle an den Tisch gebracht. War sehr lecker, komme gerne wieder!

Sehr gutes und authentisches China Restaurant. Von "klassischen" Gerichten bis hin zu original chinesischer Küche ist alles vertreten. Das Restaurant wird auch gerne von Chinesen besucht.

Essen war gut (Frühlingsrollen, Lamm mit Lauch), jedoch kam alles gleichzeitig, sodass die Hauptspeise dann kalt war! Nicht mal eine Wärmeplatte drunter!! Schade...

The place is “hidden”, walk in a door and go to the second floor, and there is when the magic happens. The food is just delicious. Big portions for a very good price. Service was also really good. certainly will come back.

Authentic chinese food. We regularly order takeaway from here that lasts us days because the portions are big and you can never eat just one dish because there is so much to discover in the giant menu. Normally that makes me question a joint but here ever dish is a hit.

Das Essen ist sehr gut, wobei es wohl je nach Gericht auch variieren kann. Das "vegetarische Hühnchen" (vermutlich einfach Tofustücke) war gut, aber eben auch nicht besonders 🤷 Für moderate Preise bekommt man hier große und gute Gerichte, bei allen Gerichten standardmäßig Reis dabei. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett. Wenn man gerne einen Sitzplatz draußen hätte (im Sommer) sollte man reservieren und bei der Reservierung auch darauf hinweisen.

Sehr netter Laden und authentische Gerichte. Eigentlich 5-Sterne, aber ich habe gehört, dass der ältere Herr, der uns als Stammkunden immer mit guter Laune bedient hat, gefeuert wird - das finde ich sehr schade und möchte, dass das noch einmal überdacht wird!

Mittlerweile gibt es drei Yangda in Karlsruhe. Ich war früher immer begeistert von dem Restaurant bei der Kaiserstraße. Das Essen ist sehr authentisch und kann gut in Gruppen gegessen werden. In Passagehof ist dieses Lokal von der Qualität her nicht anders. Da es alles im EG verteilt ist, ist es sogar etwas angenehmer. Im Sommer kann man sogar gut draußen die Speisen verzerren. Wir sind gerne dort.

Das Essen im Yangda ist sehr lecker und man hat eine große Auswahl. Von Außen waren wir erschrocken, weil es sich um eine Sportgaststätte handelt. Deshalb waren wir umso überraschter, dass es von innen sehr schön und gemütlich ist, es herrscht eine fast familiäre Atmosphäre. Hier kann man sicher auch mit Kindern herkommen.

Günstiger Preis und leckeres Essen, sehr unfreundlicher und unhöfflicher Kellner

Super Essen und Super Bedienung hier! Vor allem die Bedienung Minh sorgt dafür, dass wir spätestens wenn wir ins Restaurant kommen super gelaunt sind. Super Service und immer einen Witz auf den Lippen. Kombiniert mit dem guten Essen einfach nur eine Empfehlung!

Lecker, außergewöhnlich, ganz arg nette Bedienungen

Jedesmal wenn ich in Karlsruhe bin gehts zu Yangda (nicht zu verwechseln mit den anderen beiden Restaurants gleichen Namens...) immer sehr gutes Essen. Preis-Leistung stimmt. Der Chef bedient selbst und ist immer gut drauf und verbreitet gute Laune. Wer sich traut kann auch aussergewöhnliche Spezialitäten finden. Es waren jedesmal viele Chinesen dort zum Essen was ja immer ein gutes Zeichen ist. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Immerweider ein Erlebnis und jeden den man mitnimmt ist begeistert. Man kriegt hier Gerichte abseits von Ente und Chop Suey und durchaus auch sehr exotisches wenn man will. Service immer freundlich und Essen immer gut.

Wir konnten uns glücklich schätzen, zur Mittagszeit noch einen freien Tisch zu ergattern. Die umfangreiche Speisekarte ist zum Glück bebildert, sodass man bei den teilweise für europäische Gaumen ungewöhnlichen Gerichten und Kombinationen besser einschätzen kann, was einen erwartet. Das Essen ist nicht mit dem eingedeutschten China Imbiss vergleichbar - die authentischen Gerichte mit reichhaltigen Soßen und einer geschmacklichen Tiefe sind jedes Mal ein Erlebnis. Die Süßkartoffelnudeln mit Hackfleisch sowie der geschmorte Schweinebauch mit vegetarischem Huhn waren ein absolutes Highlight, aber auch die anderen Gerichte sind ein Gedicht. Hier bedient der Chef noch höchstpersönlich.

Wir haben zwei Gerichten bestellt( eine ist Rinder Suppenfleisch, und die anderen ist Schnittlauche mit Tofu) ich weiß nicht, ob es richtig unersetzbar ist. Was ich ganz genau wusste, ist, dass wenn man traditionelle chinesische Delikatessen probiert, kann in ihn gehen.

Als ich und meine 3 Freundinnen am Samstag 25.07 in Yangda Europaplatz Karlsruhe essen wollten, haben wir nur ein Gericht und kleines Gericht und Getränke. Ein Kellner hat uns gesagt, ihr wisst ja dass hier Restaurant ist oder? Wir können nicht überleben, wenn ihr nur so wenig bestellt. Dann habe ich gesagt, wir werden sowieso bezahlen. Ja trotzdem es ist zu wenig. Danach haben wir direkt heimgefahren. Das hat anscheinend schon oft passiert bei meinen anderen Freunden. So blöde Sprüche muss man einfach als Kellner sparen!!!
