A charming and simply furnished restaurant with a particularly friendly waitress. We enjoyed the food excellently and found it pleasantly mild – completely different to what you might expect.

Great location, very minimalistic furnishings, but still very inviting. The dishes were beautifully prepared and very tasty. Attention: spicy also means spicy. Just right for me, but some guests would probably be surprised. What was a bit strange was that despite having a reservation, we had to wait about 10 minutes in the cold IN FRONT of the restaurant. Otherwise everything was great and would be happy again.

Food without fireworks. Spicy but unseasoned. We ate dumplings with shrimp and beef, plus a dish with rice and squid - I had to add soy sauce to give the dish some character. Fortunately, there was some sauce left from the dumplings 😉 On the plus side, there was algae soup with tasty broth 👍

The food was not tasty, way too salty and expensive for this quality. I ordered kimchi soup tofu inside was almost invisible

If i had to choose a place to have one last meal, it would be this one.

The food was delicious, just the right portions and spiciness (take the chili peppers seriously!) The staff was very nice and helpful, and service was quick!

Amazing food !! We went here on our first night in Berlin and loved it! Healthy, fresh and delicious. Definitly recommend. We were served by this one waitress who was smashing it pretty much on her own. Such a good vibe and atmosphere! 🌟

I was there for the first time about ten years ago and since then I've taken every opportunity to come back. We also received great service on New Year's Eve, the food was delicious and I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Just outside the center is this Korean cuisine restaurant with excellent staff trained in the language and welcoming, excellent dishes.

After waiting almost 2 hours, my order was simply canceled without giving any reasons. ADDENDUM: I didn't order over the phone and no, it's not a mix-up.... I can upload photos of the order here as proof

We reserved a table for 5 people online in the system for today (December 26th) weeks ago and it was confirmed by email. Unfortunately when we arrived today the restaurant was closed🫠 The booking system needed to be edited...

Unfortunately I didn't like the food. It was actually just spicy with little “umami” flavor. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right. But the service was very nice and the toilet was relatively clean.

Tried Zampong, which is a spicy seafood dish. Was very tasty. Moderate spice levels for people used to Indian food. Update: Tried Spicy Bokum with fried pork as well, and blown away by the taste. Had to just finish even the last tidbits off!

We ate on site. Since we like Asian food, the dishes on the menu were very appealing to us. Beautifully authentic. The waiters were also very polite, friendly and helpful. Even though there was a lot going on during our stay, they took the time to inform us about the dishes and give us advice; at no point did we feel uncomfortable or “handled down”. And the food served based on their recommendation was simply amazing. So I can only recommend YamYam. Would definitely come again.

Cozy little Korean restaurant in Berlin city center (Mitte). We had Kimchi and Gim as starters and Bibimbab and Bulgogi as main dishes. We really enjoyed it. Restaurant was fully crowded but still the Service managed to be there on-time when needed and very friendly. The Korean Ginseng Tea was very good also. Highly recommended!

If you like good Korean food, this is the place for you. Always my pleasure.

Ordered via delivery service, after 3 hours. An unclear information via telephone call with the final dismissal of the conversation. No refund, no service, no agreement... I can only recommend everyone to order somewhere else!

The foods are very good and worth to try. They don’t have so many kinds of foods but what they offer are really nice and I always want to go and eat something. The restaurant is quite busy.

We visited here on Nov 12 and ordered seafood pancake, Kimchi Stew and Chicken Bulgogi and all of them were so good. The service we received from waitress was also good. Only thing we found inconvenient was that there was no water service. (I googled afterwards and seems like it’s not legally required to provide water here in most of Europe. If someone is from North America just like us, be aware that you need to actually PURCHASE water and it’s pretty pricey as a water)

Cute Korean corner, lots of veg options available, friendly staff. I'd suggest to go there before 2pm because of the lunch promos, which are ideal to try more from the menu.

we were here last weekend and it was pretty full, nevertheless the staff were super friendly and arranged a table for us! I usually take the Bibimbap here as its fantastic but I tried the glass noodle soup. Holy this was amazing! Quite spicy though but great flavour! Perfect for cold days. The ambiente is quite average, pretty simple and cold, but well the food is top!

Too bad I live in Paris; otherwise, I would have gone to eat at this restaurant every day. I loved it—a place with incredibly delicious dishes. I’ll go back to Berlin just for this restaurant! Thank you for the warm welcome! Thank you for everything; everything was perfect! ❤️❤️❤️

These are scammers, they brought me things I didn't want, I definitely don't recommend them, they threw away the order and ran away. They didn't answer the phone when they finished their work.

Mein Freund und ich haben dort Bibimbap gegessen. Als Vegetarier hatte er ebenfalls super viele Optionen. Das Personal war auch total freundlich und hilfsbereit, obwohl es sehr voll war. Auf das Essen mussten wir ebenfalls nicht lange warten. Wir können es nur empfehlen! :)

Food was good. Service very nice

We had to wait 3 hours for our order, we were informed again on the phone in 15-30 minutes, after 30 minutes another call and the same thing again and again. Food was correspondingly cold. So just bad!!!

Very cute restaurant with very tasty food, fair prices and very friendly staff. It is a bit small so reservations are recommended during peak times. There are also many vegetarian/vegan dishes, which was very appealing to me. I was very happy with everything and would love to come back :)

I visited during my trip and I think I will come again. I think it's worth it to have food of this quality in a place like this with a view like this. I came across the old price on Google Maps. I felt the power of time being strong, but I also used the bathroom and the day suddenly became cold and chilly, so I just sat down while looking for soup. 13.9 euros The earthen pot felt a bit small. First of all, I don’t know how to evaluate the taste. It's just as delicious as you would eat anywhere else. But in Korea, even if you order beef stew, which usually costs about 15,000 won, it is full of water and doesn't have much substance. The contents of the earthen pot are just full. It contains enough meat to keep eating large chunks of beef. It contains vermicelli, eggs, etc. It was a good meal and I am grateful.

Love this place for years, super tasty authentic food. The prices went more up but I always come back when I am in town. Love the spicy dishes, especially the seafood soup, yum

I have mixed feelings about this place. We ordered Bulgogi Dobbab - an aromatic dish, but it had a lot of rice and little beef. Tuna gimbab - a total disappointment, a small, not very tasty roll. Hot Ddok - trace amounts of bean filling. I consider the prices to be very high in relation to the quantity and quality of the dishes. Portions are too small. On the downside, the toilet was very dirty. On the plus side, short waiting times and fast and efficient service. Despite this, I won't come back here again. You can get cheaper and tastier Korean dishes in Krakow.

I used to like this place but unfortunately the service and their attitude was disappointing and unprofessional. Beware of the tuna bibimbap - tuna is from the can. Disaster. EDIT. As a point of clarification to the owner’s note: - Disappointment is not anger. Reviews are intentionally public to keep business accountable. - Restaurant’s staff first blamed the kitchen and said it wasn’t their mistake, wouldn’t apologize. The other staff member then served all our delayed meals to the wrong table (again!). - We never asked for free snacks and we didn’t eat them anyway. The drinks the owner is referring to - was a bottle of homemade sparkling water YY is charging €4.8 for (hardly a huge discount on a nearly €60 total) - Serving canned tuna on a dish that is supposed to be fresh made is appalling when you’re paying €16.5 for its

I recently had the pleasure of dining at YamYam, a delightful Korean restaurant in Berlin. However, while the overall experience was fantastic, I found the rice and funchosa to be a bit too sweet for my taste. I prefer a more savory or neutral flavor profile, so this was a minor disappointment.

Avoid this restaurant - worst service ever. This restaurant only accepts card payments, but their POS system or card machine wasn’t working properly. I tried using three different cards, all of which failed for no reason, and they didn’t even explain why. My cards have never had issues anywhere else. In the end, I had to pay in cash, and they didn’t provide change. Instead, they asked me to go get change and even demanded that I leave my phone or ID as collateral, as if I was going to run away without paying. This was extremely insulting and unprofessional behavior from the staff. To make things worse, when it came time to pay, one server told me I had to wait for another server to complete the transaction. But the server who had originally taken my order had already left the restaurant. The server who eventually came didn’t even refer to my order and just entered an amount without showing me the bill. I trusted the restaurant, so I didn’t ask to verify the amount, but the whole experience felt like they were deliberately making things difficult for the customer. I’ve never encountered such rude and appalling service in any restaurant. The food was terrible as well. The kimchi pancake was burnt and not crispy at all, with a very poor texture. The beef soup was salty and greasy. It’s not worth the price.

I've been eating there for years and recently went to eat again. What's sad is that I noticed that the prices are going up and the portions are getting smaller and smaller. Service are OK. The restaurant is generally very put together, so there is almost no passage. However, I don't come back anymore because of the prices and the portions

Super good! Abundant and tasty dishes. Some options seem a little expensive to me (16, 17 euros) but they can be okay given the result. Nice large menu with lots of choices. For lunch you can opt for the menu with main, starter (12.13 euros). The only note that I would review towards the customer is making them pay by card and standing there explicitly asking if they want to leave a tip. It can be intimidating. Apart from this and the slightly high price, everything is ok!

Decent food, but complicated menu and unsatisfying problem solution. The menu lists a lunch option and the hint to ask for vegetarian option. The question was answered with "we only have chicken". After serving the dishes, it turned out that there is an alternative lunch menu option and the chicken dish was actually not the only option. Unfortunately staff was not willing to change the dish for the other option.

Great food. Korean food, good liquor, good location in the heart of Mitte on a Berlin food mile. Nice service, very accommodating. Been here several times now and certainly not the last time.

Amazing and patient staff, our friends ended up being delayed by 15-20 mins and the staff were patient with us. We picked this place after reading a blog about Korean food a d this place dint disappoint at all. They have some good selection of dishes with nice flavors. All of us enjoyed their basil and popcorn ice creams. Can’t wait to go back again!

Me and my two friends went there to eat after a day long of working and SUPER hungry on 21.09. One of my friend told us that ate at this place after we got seated that the portion for bibimbap was small and we should definitely get extra rice.. then we told this to the waitress but how dare us to order extra rice!! The waitress said the bibimbap comes with rice, and knowingly we said we still want the extra. She looked so lost how can we order extra if there is rice in the dish already. This went back and forth for a WHILE and then me telling her that we are hungry that is simply why. To that her respond was ‘interesting’ in such a rude manner … How can a waitress argue with you about your order as simple as extra rice? I said then no extra for me cuz i had enough of this already but my friends told her that they want extra rice bc they really hungry then i told her not so interesting now right? She said no no i said it as a compliment… we should’ve left then. After me not ordering rice i was still hungry but didn’t want to argue with the waitress again. None of us will come back obviously 👎

It is a very sweet and amazing restaurant, and their food is good, especially it was my first experience with Korean food, and their kamshti is very good, and the service is excellent, and the treatment is nice and the prices are reasonable, but there is a lot of crowding in their place, so you may wait a while to find a place to sit.

I came to eat yamyam today, but it wasn’t so yam because it was too spicy😞but the bibimbap was pretty good🎀I ordered the kimchi tofu soup. There were only two pieces of tofu and all of them were kimchi, which was very sad😌😌In terms of proportion, it should be kimchi soup. 💥😘I think I will never go to South Korea in my life🥰I can experience spicy ghost cuisine in Berlin💥😅

We came from Poland and one of our main goals was this restaurant. We were not disappointed, the food was very tasty, the portions were adequate and the price was right. The lemonade is good and refreshing, especially in this heat. The place was clean, the service was nice and the dishes were served relatively quickly. I recommend visiting and trying it if you like Korean cuisine!

I tried the Bibimbap with beef and it was really good. My only problem is that I was not able to finish it that fast so there was some burnt rice by the time I finished since it was continuosly heating. I wish there was an option for people like me to turn the heating on and off.

The food was good but we found the portions to be quite small and left hungry. We ordered the daily summer specials which were both tasty but there definitely could’ve been more for the price. 4 very thinly sliced pieces of meat, a couple small slices of cucumber, and really not that many noodles. It fulfilled the Korean food craving, but we wouldn’t come back because we didn’t think the price to quantity was worth it. 3.5 stars

The food is a delight and the service is very accommodating.

The food is not bad, but I found it dishonest to charge us around 5 euros for a jug of water when we had asked for tap water and they brought us water in a bottle (like those of lemonade) pretending that it was mineral water. Water should not be charged for, it is a common good that must be accessible to everyone!

service ok, food uninspiring, the salad for the wrap was inedible as it had sand in it. very expensive for a plate of sliced vegetables and a modest serving of kimchi and gochujang. I won't be back. I suggest you avoid this place.

Came here for an event. Overall the food is pretty good, had the Jukgaejang. The server is nice and was helpful at recommending dishes, but since it was so busy that night, she mistakenly charged me for a dish that wasn't mine. Luckily I had this sorted out with the owner who was very receptive and helpful :)
