One of the waitress is so mean and rude. Don’t recommend here.

Would have given 5 star of the rice was of better quality and that the pork meat was cooked with the stew. However the sourness was great!

We came from Poland and one of our main goals was this restaurant. We were not disappointed, the food was very tasty, the portions were adequate and the price was right. The lemonade is good and refreshing, especially in this heat. The place was clean, the service was nice and the dishes were served relatively quickly. I recommend visiting and trying it if you like Korean cuisine!

I tried the Bibimbap with beef and it was really good. My only problem is that I was not able to finish it that fast so there was some burnt rice by the time I finished since it was continuosly heating. I wish there was an option for people like me to turn the heating on and off.

The food was good but we found the portions to be quite small and left hungry. We ordered the daily summer specials which were both tasty but there definitely could’ve been more for the price. 4 very thinly sliced pieces of meat, a couple small slices of cucumber, and really not that many noodles. It fulfilled the Korean food craving, but we wouldn’t come back because we didn’t think the price to quantity was worth it. 3.5 stars

The food is a delight and the service is very accommodating.

The food is not bad, but I found it dishonest to charge us around 5 euros for a jug of water when we had asked for tap water and they brought us water in a bottle (like those of lemonade) pretending that it was mineral water. Water should not be charged for, it is a common good that must be accessible to everyone!

Came here for an event. Overall the food is pretty good, had the Jukgaejang. The server is nice and was helpful at recommending dishes, but since it was so busy that night, she mistakenly charged me for a dish that wasn't mine. Luckily I had this sorted out with the owner who was very receptive and helpful :)

service ok, food uninspiring, the salad for the wrap was inedible as it had sand in it. very expensive for a plate of sliced vegetables and a modest serving of kimchi and gochujang. I won't be back. I suggest you avoid this place.

A colorful Korean restaurant with wonderful service and delicious food. The only thing is that I couldn’t get enough of the dumplings (gyoza), so if you are very hungry, it’s better to take something else.

Nice Korean place. Looks very trendy and nothing like what you would expect from a Korean restaurant. The food was amazing but the service was slow even though it wasn’t too crowded. Luckily the food was worth the wait.

We were there for the first time years ago, now finally again ;) And I have to admit, the store is better than when I had it secured back then. We went around lunchtime on a Saturday without a reservation and got a table straight away. The selection of dishes is great and also a little different than my usual Koreans. The portions were large, and with the starter we were definitely very full. The service wasn't necessarily euphoric, but still nice and attentive (especially since people are definitely used to worse things in Mitte :)) Parking wasn't a problem either - apparently our lucky day. Definitely worth a visit! Bonus: Gojujang is always on the tables and you don't have to ask! TOP! (In other stores there is such a blob that I don't understand ;))

Super friendly waiter serving us delicious Korean food. My fave (for years now) ozinger bokum, the spicy fried squid! We also shared a gimbab role and kimchi pancake. Delish!

An amazing place to satisfy your Korean food craving. We spotted this place while walking around the area and were drawn to the restaurant by its striped drawn out shade sails. Our host Tunghe, welcomed us with a smile and led us to our cute table in the corner even though we didn't have a reservation. The food we ordered tasted amazing as well and it was quite filling me. The food was slightly spicy for my palette but the refreshing homemade lemonade & sodas came our rescue. Overall the restaurant is great place for a date evening or catch up with close friends over some amazing Asian food.

Sadly, this is possibly the worst Bibimbap I’ve ever had. I do not understand how I received only one tablespoon of beef. It’s also not your standard bulgoli beef it’s just low grade overcooked minced meat. The beef itself is and I can guarantee there was not one pear used to soften this or flavour it. The only redeeming quality is the portion size for the rice was fine. For the price point, I would absolutely forget this there are much better options that are cheaper. Even in this area.

Water was the best thing that tasted as it should be. Soup tastes like directly from the Ramen powder. It was the saddest Kimchi I ever tasted. Even if we both left over 80% of the food, the waiter never asked if everything was alright, but tried best to ignore. Try your luck. But I wouldn't gamble.

Super delicious food (bibimbap with tofu / avocado, fried mandu and classic gimbap) as well as delicious drinks. attentive service! Music selection very kpop-heavy, even as a kpop fan I found it a bit "Korea Boo" appealing. Some variation would be good, as it was only the current most populsr songs. Unfortunately, the person who was in charge of the bar scared me a bit with the shake technique. please train your colleagues again ;)

I had the lunch menu today (June 13, 2024). 13.50€. Korean Fried Chicken, vegetarian tofu alternative upon request. Plus side dishes, as seen. Plus a Fritz Cola. 3.50€ The tofu pieces were too big, not bite-sized. But that was ok. It was still extremely tasty. The price is okay. The quantity was smaller than expected but still acceptable. The drink is overpriced for that price. The service was good. Nice service. Unfortunately a bit rushed. The restaurant was quite busy between 12:30-1pm. So much so that it was too loud inside for me. Sitting outside is possible. Only card payment is possible. No cash payment. Next time I'll bring my own drink.

When I'm sick and feeling dizzy, I get better by ordering kimchi stew here. Instead, it is not an authentic Korean restaurant, but rather for Germans.. Add minced meat to stir-fried pork or kimchi stew and use eggplant and paprika. Nicht so authentisch koreanisch aber schmeckt schon

The food cannot compete with other Korean restaurants in Berlin and elsewhere. I have also been to South Korea and can compare. I ordered a haemul jeon (seafood pancake) and spicy pickles. The pancake was not crispy, but very soggy and greasy, and the portion was rather small. There was also a mussel shell or something similar, so when I bit down on it, a piece of my tooth broke off. The cucumbers were OK, but the level of spiciness was rather low. While I was eating, two waitresses smoked one after the other 5 meters away, which really disturbed me while I was eating. Conclusion: There are enough Korean restaurants in Berlin, I wouldn't recommend this one to anyone.

Favorite Korean! Small but fine menu, good food (which is served quickly), always friendly and attentive staff. Always my pleasure!

Interessato a provare la cucina coreana, opto per questo piccolo locale nel distretto di Mitte, puntando a una zuppa e a una portata principale. Come zuppa, ne provo una con kimchi e maiale, con il riso da accompagnamento che la valorizzava molto, veramente buona. Come portata principale, ordino bulgogi dobbab (manzo marinato con vegetali, riso e noodle di riso): in questo caso, il riso da accompagnamento a mio personale gusto non valorizzava adeguatamente il piatto, che tuttavia rimane una scelta valido. Con limonata (avrei ordinato qualche bevanda tipica coreana, ma quella sera non erano disponibili) ho speso 32 EUR. Apprezzabile per chi volesse avvicinarsi alla cucina coreana.

The service is good, the food is delicious but not so impressive.

Nice staff, good food, a little more expensive but good location

Food was fine and the atmosphere was sound. I didn't like the waitress's behaviour of forcing her to tip. After spending 36 euros I had to add x amount for the tip but forcefully she doubled it. I will never visit here again. I never see this kind of behaviour in any restaurant in Berlin where workers force people to tip.

Food turned out to be too spicy for the German palate

Food is okay. A little expensive. When paying the waiter holds the card machine with a tip screen which has no easy option to not tip, forcing a tip.

Was here for the first time and I have to say it was a real surprise! A friend and I got a table straight away, service was very nice, we didn't have to wait long for our food and it was delicious 😋. The only criticism would be that you ONLY have to pay by card! But otherwise everything was nice, clear recommendation 😊

Don’t the people who make the food here know what kimchi pancake is? Who puts raw kimchi on a jeonjeon and sells it as kimchi pancake? And when I added meat, if they roughly grilled the meat separately, how could I eat this? Haha. If you really want to eat it, you'll just do it, but it's ridiculous to see kimchi pancake, so just make it the same as the picture on the menu and sell it.

Such a lovely small place with two different places next to each other. Price wise totally worth every penny and definitely suggest going to.

We walked into YamYam restaurant rather late for dinner, and we were welcomed in such a warm and professional manner by a gentleman named Ilker. He swiftly prepared a table of 4 for us and immediately made us feel comfortable. We asked him for advice and recommendations on the menu and he gave us all the details to help us make our choices. We were served very quickly and the food was absolutely delicious! Congratulations to the team, and in particular to Ilker whose friendliness really won us over when he started talking impeccable French to us!

Overpriced. Also wrong prices. I was charged €15.50 for Vegi Bibimbap.

I ate kimchi stew and green onion pancakes! It was disappointing that the pork was minced meat, the rice was jasmine, so it was disappointing that the rice grains flew away, and it was also disappointing that it wasn't hot, perhaps because they were considering customers who might not be familiar with the earthen pot culture. I like carlsberg, so I ate it with hot kimchi stew, but this guy again. It was a pity that it was lukewarm. The kimchi had a lot of crunchiness, so it was really delicious.

I got the jjampong, and it had a lot of seafood in it, though the flavour isn't as strong as I had hoped.

I don’t know is it because I’m so hungry after a workout class, I love what I have in here. I got Dubu Bokum Spicy, a rice bowl with spicy tofu. I love fried tofu with sauce but in some places it has some fruity flavor that I don’t like. In here it is not like that, an amazing delicious spicy sauce, with free small kimchi on the side it was delicious. I got fresh lemonade on side, a good choice as well. Next time, I’ll get bibimbap which I tried a bit of my friend’s tuna one, it was good as well. Service was so fast and everyone was friendly. Thank you!

I ordered yesterday 23.03 at 06 in the morning two hamburgers and some fries, I received half of the potatoes and the hamburgers without love, 0 professionalism, the lettuce was in poor condition and the part of the trunk was cut off and the tomato a finger broad! A shame, I need some kind of compensation for that! It can't be that I come home from work, I order my "dinner" and it arrives in that condition, I paid what the product is worth and it was in no condition at all. thank you!!

Very tasty and authentic Korean food. Price-performance ratio is perfectly fine. The bibimbap was very good, as was the spicy seafood soup. There's a lot going on at lunchtime, but the waiting time is still reasonable. Gladly again.

Love it! Nice and spicy for the winter

The word that best describes the dining experience here is “expensive”. I ordered the Chajangmyun with pork for 15€ and the pork was almost nonexistent. The food was okay, nothing special but the prices were really high in my opinion. Maybe the lunch menu during the week is better but I don’t think I’ll try it. In general everything is getting so expensive in Berlin.

Very nice small restaurant! I had the vegan kimchi jiggae, it was good, but nothing special. They do offer free small portions of extra kimchi if you ask, which is really cool!

Very expensive for what you're offered. You can get better food very close by for less. The vegetarian options were also quite lackluster. Only boring tofu as a meat substitute. Tofu would have been alright for half the price, but expect more from a restaurant in this price segment.

Ordinary Korean food, quite restricted Joice. But service was very quick and over all not that expensive

Jjambong, jjajang and nokdujeon cost us 45 euros. Even if you take the fact that this restaurant is in Berlin into consideration, their price is too high. A small bowl of jjambong cannot be 17 euros. It (bigger, more authentic and tasty) is 12~13 euros in other major german cities. Not to mention that the taste of their food has a lot of room for improvement.

I ordered pork kimchi stew and yukgaejang, but it was a little difficult to order because there were a lot of people in the local store and the workers seemed busy. Maybe it's because it's a kiss, but the taste is a bit disappointing to Koreans. Kimchi stew is similar to kimchi stew that tastes like red pepper paste, but it was spicier than I expected, so I wondered if the locals would be able to eat it. Yukgaejang had carrots instead of bracken and was a bit sweet. If you want to eat Korean food while traveling, go somewhere else.

Can only be paid by card. The service staff takes a long time, we had to wait 40 minutes for our food. Simple homemade drinks without much taste. Delicious food, especially the glass noodle dish mixed with beef and kimbap.

The flavor was strong and the seasoning was strong, so I ate it thinking, “This tastes familiar.” The price is overpriced, but since it is a downtown area, it is king. The taste is average, but since there are no Korean restaurants around here, it is a very competitive restaurant? I plan to visit again next time I want to eat kimchi stew ~~

I was there for the first time in September and there were six flies flying around right where I was sitting. The Jjajangmyeon didn't really suit my taste. The jjajang sauce seemed to be fried, but it was too salty and the quantity was small and the noodles were too thin. This is really different from Korean Jjajangmyeon. Jjamppong and kimchi were also tasteless. I went there with high expectations but was very disappointed. They were friendly, but I absolutely don't recommend it.

After a long time we were there again. It has now become a little bigger, has significantly more seats and is better organized. Now there is table service which is very attentive and quick. The food was again very good and the menu was expanded with new dishes. The green tea and the kimchi, great as always. Depending on the time, you should reserve a table. If you are traveling in the city center, this restaurant is always worth a visit.

The vegan bibimbap was good, but not amazing. Vegan options are available, which is a plus. Food was a bit too cold and somehow lack of taste. Staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was nice too.

Very tasty Korean restaurant. I can only recommend Bibimbab, Djang Djorim and Nokdu Choen. Unfortunately the stools have no backrests.
