favourite fried chicken place ever. truly cannot be topped. if gangnam has a million fans, i am one of them. if it has one fan, it is me. if it has zero fans, i am dead.

While traveling in Berlin, we discovered this restaurant! Great discovery and we returned two days in a row. The welcome is warm, the dishes are good. The managers are lovely, the best restaurant in Berlin for us and our three children! Thank you, we will come back without hesitation during our next visit to Germany.

The chicken and fries were incredibly tasty and the owner was friendly. I think this will be my regular restaurant! ‘A stroke of luck that I discovered this fantastic restaurant🤩’

The staffs were super kind and they were perfectly open to all the possible requests with a sweet smile. Especially I loved this Bibimbap (mixed rice bowl) cause it’s balanced out very well. I’d willingly visit here again.

Went here based on all the glowing reviews. After eating here, I am not sure whether there is supposed to be another universe with another Korean fried chicken place with the same name, in the same spot because 'the best fried chicken in Berlin' this definitely is not. In fact, I am so astonished by the rating, I couldn't sleep and writing a review at 5am. Go figure! The place was busy when we arrived and we took the last small table by the door (absolutely fine). We ordered two portions of chicken wings (plain and garlic). What can I say? You could smell the frying oil on the chicken, the chef obviously forgot to use salt and pepper in the coating - never had a blander chicken wing. The amount of garlic sauce (also underwhelming) was maybe the size of a tablespoon and placed under the wings rather than coating them and providing the only bit of flavour on the plate. Reasonable fries, but again, no salt. Also no salt or soy sauce on the table, only supersized Heinz ketchup and mayo (I now know why - you need it). Supersized the portions are not. Wings are very small and my partner even joked that this was probably the starter size and wondering when the mains were coming. After we were finished we sat in front of our dirty plates for about 15 minutes before the guy cleared them - the place wasn't even busy anymore. We also ordered the Mantu (beef gyoza) which is the only reason I am giving this place two stars. Generally filled with a lovely dipping sauce and yes, finally... bursting with flavour!!! I am going back to bed and the amazing Korean place down the road tomorrow that actually deserves five stars.

We have been here often, it is one of the standard addresses in the neighborhood for us. The food is excellent, the family that runs the restaurant is super nice and the interior is decorated with a lot of love! Definitely recommended.

A friend recommended it to me, so I visited once and the chicken was really delicious! I ordered soy sauce chicken, bibimbap, and potato pancake. It was delicious and the bibimbap was generous with lots of vegetables and meat. The thickness of the potato pancake was just right, and when dipped in soy sauce, it felt like eating at a Korean restaurant!! The owner was very kind and it was the most delicious Korean restaurant I've ever been to. I highly recommend it to the point where I would like to bring my friends if they come to Germany to visit!!

This is the best house. This is a restaurant that offers great taste and sincerity that is hard to find even in Korea. I was especially impressed that the owner made the food sweetened with fruit without using seasoning for health reasons. I was happy because it had been a long time since I had a high-quality meal made with healthy ingredients.

It’s already my favorite korean restaurant for korean fried chicken and they added bingsu to their menu which was extremely good!!!! I got melon bingsu and even the shaved ice is with melon flavor!

This place is famous for the chicken but the bingsu here is also really good. I took the mango bingsu and the shaved ice evenly tasted like mango without any bland spots, and the fruits that came as toppings were also very fresh. Worth way more than the price, would visit again.

Authentic ingredients and amazing homemade dishes. On top of everything, as a native Korean person, I can confidently say that Kimchi was exquisite and was the best among many Korean restaurants I had visited in Germany.

The ambiance and food at Gangnam - Korean Chicken Restaurant were outstanding, not to mention how nice the owners are. Highly recommended the spicy-sweet chicken and Korean ice cream, but they also have vegan options too! Absolutely a must-visit!

When it comes to restaurants, taste comes first. All menus at Gangnam restaurants are delicious. When I travel, I miss the food of my home country. When you pass through Berlin and your body and mind get tired, Go to Gangnam Restaurant. I highly recommend it.

My foreign friend and I ate chicken on a half-and-half menu for two people. My friend's pick was the seasoned chicken, and my pick was the soy sauce chicken, and the fries served on the side were a true work of art! As vegans, we really got our money's worth here: bibimbab with tofu (various vegetables on rice, without eggs if desired), kimchi pancakes and, as a highlight for dessert, "Bingsoo" - Korean "shaved" ice (shaved ice, snow ice) . This ice cream was so delicious that we had to order more. It is finely grated, melts pleasantly on the tongue and has a consistency reminiscent of snow. Add fresh strawberries, optionally with a mango topping, and you're in seventh heaven. The vegan oat-based version is uniquely creamy and can no longer be distinguished from milk. We've never eaten anything more delicious.

Seriously the best Korean fried chicken I have ever had! If your into garlic I would recommend the garlic sauce great to share a bibimbap and one fried chicken dish with fries that's our go to place when we aren't cooking at home! The staff is super kind and the food is prepared quickly :)

I visited this place because I really wanted to eat Korean chicken while traveling. It was really delicious. I still remember it. It was better than Korea. And the bulgogi bibimbap was excellent. I also wanted to try shaved ice, but it was a bit disappointing to hear that it would be sold in a month. The owner and staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. Good luck!

Very friendly family business. The food impresses with fresh ingredients and well-balanced seasoning; the core business is bibimbap and fried chicken. You can feel the unobtrusive passion at work here in every detail - in the food, the interior design and the interaction with customers. In one word: feel-good atmosphere. Honestly, I couldn't ask for better. People have been consistently impressed here for years. Always worth a visit, even from Potsdam.

Visited with my girl friend who is a Korean fried chicken lover. We ordered soy sauce fried chicken and garlic fried chicken. Both were very crispy and delicious. It was one of the best Korean fried chicken I have tried in Germany. The fried chicken stay crispy till the end. Highly recommend visiting this place.

The owners are also very nice. PS It can sometimes fill up very quickly, so it's best to make a reservation for large groups.

Cozy, small restaurant with authentic Korean cuisine. Very, very tasty. Top price-performance ratio. Super friendly and courteous service. We've even become friends now, as my girlfriend and I now eat there almost every other weekend. We love beef gyoza as an appetizer. Ice cream as dessert is the perfect ending every time. My German friend is a regular here, and the owner praised me a lot, so I went there, but even though it was past 5pm, they said it wasn't ready and it wasn't open, so I had to wait outside in the cold for over 10 minutes, and when I waited so long to go in and take it out, they said something wasn't ready and I didn't know how long it would take. The way he answered seemed like he had no intention of doing business. In the end, I just left, but the image was so bad that I don't think I'll ever go again. It wasn't the female boss that I heard a lot about, but it was a man, but the image of the store took a turn for the worst because of that one person. May you prosper

레전드 한국음식점. 데리고 간 외국인 친구들도 mind blowing 맛이라고 했어요! 한국에 있었어도 맛집이라고 자주 갔을 것 같아요. 비빔밥, 치킨, 빙수 뭐하나 빠짐없이 최고였던 곳. 치킨은 간장치킨이 가장 맛있었고 소고기 비빔밥은 그냥 존맛이고 빙수(얼그레이, 말차 주문)도 달지 않고 굉장히 진한 맛인데다가 요청하시면 연유도 따로 주셔서 정말 최고였습니다. 만두는 그다지 추천하지 않아요. 차라리 손맛이 더 담긴 다른 음식을 더 주문하세요 :) 5명이서 막걸리도 곁들이고 배부르게 빙수까지 먹고 인당 20유로씩 지불했습니다. 맛있는 음식 감사합니다! 곧 또 갈게요.

2023년 마지막 식사를 멋진 레스토랑에서 할 수 있어서 너무 기분이 좋았습니다! 31일에는 소고기 비빔밥, 얼그레이 빙수를 먹었고 며칠 전에는 치킨과 닭갈비 덮밥을 먹었는데 메뉴들이 전체적으로 가격도 합리적인데 양도 많고 자극적이지 않고 맛있어요. 식재료 관리를 잘하셔서 야채가 싱싱하고 고기에서 잡내가 안 납니다. 사장님께 여쭤보니 소스가 기성품이 아닌 직접 수제로 다 만드신다고 하시더라고요. 특히 마늘소스와 양념소스가 일품인데 마늘소스는 진한 마늘맛이나고 양념은 많이 맵지도 않고 맛있어요. 베를린에서 가본 한식당 중 제일 만족스럽고 아늑하고 엄마가 차려준 밥을 먹는 기분이 들었네요. 조만간 또 방문하겠습니다! 잘 먹었습니다 👍

The hidden Gem of Berlin. If your are looking for authentic Korean Fried Chicken, this if by far the best we have tried in entire Germany. The crunchiness, texture and flavors are comparable with the ones from Seoul. If you are a real foodie like us, you’ll understand its very rare to find this level of authenticity. Plus very friendly people running the place. :)

양념치킨이랑 망고 빙수 먹었는데 진짜 너무 맛있었어요!!! 치킨은 바삭바삭한 튀김옷에 직접 만드신 소스 조합이 너무 좋았구요, 망고 눈꽃빙수는 그저 사랑이었습니다 💛 사장님도 정말 친절하시고 가게도 분위기 정말 좋아서 베를린에서 한식집 찾으신다면 완전 추천드립니다!!

Also für mich eindeutig der beste Ort in Berlin, um koreanisches chicken zu essen. Fleisch und Pommes sind wunderbar knusprig und die Marinade sehr lecker. Mittlerweile gibt es auch andere Gerichte, wie einen scharfen Eintopf aus Hähnchen (닭갈비)sowie Gemüse, koreanische Eisbecher (빙수) und natürlich kann man auch immer Bibimbap und kleine koreanische Pfannkuchen essen. Alles schmeckt super! Besonders möchte ich noch betonen, dass die Besitzer von Gangnam sehr sehr nett sind! Also es macht immer viel Spaß, wieder vorbeizukommen. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause!

Wir waren an einem Samstagabend da und haben gut einen Platz bekommen, auch wenn das Restaurant eher klein ist. Dennoch ist es gemütlich. Alles was wir bestellt haben, fanden wir mega lecker. Die Bedienung war auch super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man merkt, dass es ein kleines Familienrestaurant ist. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

My wife is lactose intolerant and the shaved ice they have is typically made with milk. The owner whipped up a version from soy milk on the spot, it was delicious, allergy friendly and vegan friendly. Will definitely visit again.

닭갈비 덮밥, 맛있게 매운 닭갈비였다:) 독일에서 한식당을 가도 아무리 맵게 주문을 해도 맵지 않았는데, 여기 닭갈비는 한국에서 먹는 닭갈비 맛이었다! 다만, 외국인 친구들이 먹기에는 조금 매울 수도 있다고 생각해요ㅎㅎ 실타래빙수<3 독일에서 먹을 수 있을 거라 생각도 못 했는데... 실타래빙수 파는 거 많이 갬동받았습니다! 얼그레이랑 멜론 둘 다 너무 맛있었고요, 플레이팅도 쏘 큐트!! 얼그레이에 인절미랑 오곡시리얼의 조합 너무 맛있었어요:) 멜론도 찐생멜론이 함께 나와서 더 맛있게 먹었습니다:) 번창하시고, 앞으로도 맛있는 음식 만들어 주세요:D

Ich habe mehrmals dieses Restaurant besucht, jedes mal war sehr zufrieden! Gerichte sind sehr köstlich. Besonders war begeistert vom Service:) Unter Gerichten möchte ich vor allem Dakgalbi-Reis und Melon Bingsu empfehlen! Hier ist der richtige Ort, wo du ein richtiges koreanisches Geschmack genießen kannst:)
