XXXL Restaurant Wolfsburg in Wolfsburg

They advertise their after-work menu heavily. I've been there twice and haven't received it. They're probably too lazy to prepare it.

They never have fresh food. If you ask for something and the don’t have cooked, they answer is sold out. How can be sold out 3 times the menu, if the restaurant always is empty.

Ever since the new chef left, the food has been a disaster. Never again!

We waited in line forever because there was clearly a shortage of staff. The menu wasn't well-organized. We only ordered potato pancakes with applesauce. It was a decent portion, but almost inedible for me. The potatoes were white, which didn't exactly scream quality. The cashier was very rude. The two people serving the food were friendly. The furniture looks like it's from the 80s; the tables and chairs are all too loose. This place desperately needs a renovation. We will definitely never eat here again.

Unfortunately, around noon, none of the advertised dishes were available. There was only schnitzel. Not even the soup of the day. The restaurant's interior looks like something out of the 90s. Considering the restaurant is located in an expensive and high-quality furniture store, it's a real shame that you can't even get a decent meal there.

They close whenever they feel like it. I came specifically to be there, and they closed right in front of me half an hour before the official closing time. Terrible service!

There's no food left shortly before 5 p.m. Then they can keep their furniture. What are those opening hours?

I'm really disappointed with my visit today. I ordered a schnitzel with fries – no sauce – and there was no question about whether I might want some sauce. That wouldn't have been so bad, but the attitude at the cashier was absolutely unfriendly. While my mother was getting coffee, I stood there looking for coupons. Despite repeatedly emphasizing that I needed a moment, the employee simply replied with an annoyed "Card or cash? Card or cash?" – and as if that weren't enough, a distinctly annoyed "tchh" followed. This push, even though no one was waiting behind us, was simply disrespectful and inappropriate. Unfortunately, an experience like that leaves a very negative impression.

I'm appalled! It's been a long time since I've been to a restaurant, and it's now like a cafeteria. Schnitzel with French fries, no sauce, and no question about whether we wanted any. Waiting at the checkout for the cashier, who then came when we asked. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this visit. It's a shame they couldn't, or didn't, maintain the standard.

The price and taste were okay, and the service was super friendly.

The spinach penne was delicious. The staff was very friendly. There's also much more space at XXXLutz than in BS-Wenden, so you can always find a seat, even on weekends.

I eat here often. I like the currywurst with fries. The sauce is very rich. You can help yourself to curry powder. There are also plenty of seats, which I find very comfortable. I like sitting on the bench instead of the chairs 😉 It's like eating at home, cozy. I also find the staff friendly.

The cook takes cash, then handles the food being served, all without gloves and without washing his hands. Reminds me of a kebab shop; it's really unnecessary.

The food was cold and tasteless.

We come here regularly for breakfast. The breakfast buffet is always very well prepared. My child loves these rolls :) The breakfast prices are completely reasonable, and each additional coffee for €1 is also reasonable. With the great vouchers, we also like to eat here for lunch. Whether it's red cabbage with duck or schnitzel with bacon, everything has always tasted very, very good. The staff is always friendly! The decor may seem "old-fashioned" to some, but it's neither damaged nor dirty. It's a very cozy place; you can sit there in peace and quiet with plenty of space between other tables. If you don't eat here, it's your own fault! :) We like coming here and are very satisfied with the food!

Veal liver Berlin style on offer for 11.99 euros. Sorry, the worst meal I've ever eaten. No taste, the side dishes listed were completely missing. The Berliners would run away like me too. Zero stars. Sorry, never again

We were looking at furniture and thought we'd grab a quick bite to keep us going. Unfortunately, the food—a simple currywurst—was absolutely terrible. The fries and the sausage tasted fishy. Afterwards, I saw that the fish, fries, and sausage had all been fried in the same oil. It's truly shameful. I strongly advise against eating here.

We were disappointed. The breading on the schnitzel was a bubble and the cheese spaetzle wasn't seasoned properly. The facility is getting old. The staff in the kitchen was unmotivated. The lady at the checkout was very friendly. Not likely that we will visit the restaurant again.

A very bad restaurant! The food looks unappetizing. The restaurant itself is dirty and old. Some of the chair upholstery is torn. The tables are sticky and dirty. You definitely don't feel comfortable there! The staff wasn't particularly friendly either. Not recommended!

I really like the Niedersachsenstube restaurant in the XXXLutz Wolfsburg. When I eat and shop there, I feel right at home. I keep coming back.
