XUDU in Berlin

Bahn mi Pate sehr zu empfehlen, hatte intensiven Geschmack und war wirklich ein Genuss. Sitzplätze fand ich nur minimal unbequem, aber ansonsten alles top, der Laden sieht schön und sauber aus.

Ich habe hier bisher nur das Tofu-Bánh mì bestellt, aber ich finde es super. Richtig große Portion, ordentlich Tofu, viel Soße, leckerer Geschmack und für 6,90 € das günstigste, das ich bisher in Berlin gefunden habe! Ich gehe regelmäßig hin, weil ich ganz in der Nähe wohne.

Wir sind angekommen. Im Lokal war niemand. In der Ferne war ein Koch zu sehen, und eine Mitarbeiterin schaute uns an, als wir hereinkamen. Sie stellte jedoch keinerlei Blickkontakt her und begrüßte uns nicht einmal. Eine echte Frechheit. Ich kann diesen Ort nicht empfehlen. Wenn man seine Gäste weder begrüßt noch bedient, sollte man dort nicht hingehen. Wir sind wieder aufgestanden und gegangen.

Die Dekoration des Restaurants ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Höflicher und freundlicher Service. Vielen Dank!

Unglaublich, die Qualität des Essens hier ist hervorragend. Selbst ich, eine gebürtige Vietnamesin, bin von ihrem Banh Mi beeindruckt; es erinnert mich wirklich an Vietnam, mitten in Berlin.

Dieses Bánh mì von Xudu ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Was das Erlebnis aber noch besser macht, ist der Service. Die Mitarbeiter sind schnell, freundlich und aufmerksam – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Selbst zur Stoßzeit läuft alles reibungslos, und man merkt, dass ihnen jedes Detail am Herzen liegt.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hervorragendes Essen und freundliches Personal. Alles war frisch und lecker. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und gemütlich. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Dieses Lokal ist fantastisch. Als gebürtige Vietnamesin fand ich das Banh Mi unglaublich lecker und es hat mich an meine Heimat erinnert. Schade, dass einige meiner engen Freunde es nicht genießen konnten. Das Brot ist herrlich duftend und knusprig. Es ist lange her, dass ich diesen vertrauten Geschmack erlebt habe. Die Angestellten sind freundlich wie Familie, und die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist gemütlich.

Das ist ehrlich gesagt einfach nur ein schlechtes Banh Mi. Ich würde es ja gerne mögen, weil es in der Nähe ist, aber das Brot ist matschig, das Schweinefleisch immer zäh, Geschmack und Konsistenz sind einfach nur schlecht. Niemand, der schon mal ein gutes Banh Mi gegessen hat, würde das hier mögen.

Sehr leckere Banh Mi! Knuspriges Baguette, frische Zutaten und super Geschmack. Das aufgeschnittenes Baguette sieht nicht nur toll aus, sondern schmeckt auch fantastisch. Absolut empfehlenswert! 👍

Echt und superlecker! Ich bin in Vietnam geboren und aufgewachsen und daher sehr wählerisch, was Banh Mi angeht. Dieser Laden ist aber wirklich ein Highlight. Das Brot ist außen knusprig und innen luftig. Die Füllungen sind unglaublich aromatisch und authentisch – es schmeckt genauso gut, wenn nicht sogar besser als zu Hause. Unbedingt besuchen!

Ich war total begeistert von diesem Restaurant! Ich bin spontan vorbeigekommen und habe dabei einen echten Geheimtipp entdeckt. Das Gericht sah umwerfend aus (knusprige Fleischscheiben, wunderschön angerichtet, frisches Gemüse). Jeder Bissen war ein Genuss: außen knusprig, innen zart, perfekt gewürzt. Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Ich komme auf jeden Fall mit Freunden wieder!

Ich habe dieses Bánh mì wirklich genossen. Das Brot war außen perfekt knusprig und innen schön weich – genau so, wie es sein soll. Die Füllung schmeckte frisch und sah auch sehr appetitlich aus: zartes Fleisch, knackiges Gemüse und etwas Koriander, der alles wunderbar abrundete. Die Soße war würzig, ohne zu fettig zu sein. Selbst nach einer Weile war das Sandwich noch knusprig und lecker. Einfach köstlich!

Dieses Bánh mì war genau so, wie ich es mir gewünscht hatte: knuspriges, goldbraunes Brot mit dem perfekten Biss, gefüllt mit frischen Kräutern, eingelegtem Gemüse und herzhaften Schichten aus Fleisch und Pastete. Jeder Bissen bot eine wunderbare Balance aus Geschmack und Textur – wohltuend und gleichzeitig aufregend. Und das ist der Grund, warum es so beliebt ist: Es lebt vom Kontrast: knusprig und zart, herzhaft mit einer leichten Süße und Schärfe. Das Brot ist leicht und luftig, mit einer herrlich knusprigen Kruste und einem weichen, fluffigen Inneren. Einfach, schnell und absolut köstlich. Ein wahrer Genuss wie zu Hause. Es schmeckt einfach anders.

Gutes Banh Mi Kartenzahlung ab 10€

Preise wurden während wir dort saßen erhöht. So wurden aus 20€, knapp 30€. So kann man Geld verdienen.

Die Bowls sind enttäuschend. Tiefkühlzutaten, wenig Protein, und nicht, wie angekündigt, „frisches Wok-Gemüse“.

Köstliche Teriyaki-Hähnchen-Bowl, sehr frische Zutaten – große Auswahl.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Ich bin zum ersten Mal in Berlin und dieser schöne Laden hat mich direkt überzeugt. Ich finde ihn sehr angenehm und interessant zu gleich, wobei das Essen echt lecker war und sehr schön präsentiert wurde.

Der Reis war perfekt gekocht, und die ganze Schüssel war sehr sättigend. Die Zubereitung der Weinblätter hat mir sehr gut gefallen, und der Salat war frisch und knackig. Insgesamt war es ein rundum gelungenes und genussvolles Essen.

Kommen hier oft hin. Essen ist super lecker & schnell gemacht. Plus Punkt für die manga Wand 😄

We had a delicious banh mi. One with tofu and one with beef. The taste was fantastic! The service was also great, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Plus, we didn't have to wait long for our food. We'll definitely be back.

Terrible banh mi. Soggy bread, thick-cur vegetables, big slabs of meat, and for some reason, a bbq sauce.

I had Banh Mi No. 22, which was fresh and flavorful. Good value for money, a relaxed atmosphere, and even though it was lunchtime and the place was busy, everything was quick and easy.

I would have liked to have seen on the menu that the chicken on the baguette was breaded. Unlike the other banh mi in Berlin, that wasn't my cup of tea at all. What a shame.

Amazing. We had the 20 and the 21. It's rare that you rave about it so much during and after a meal. I've been here a few times.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend the Banh Mi. The bread was limp and tasteless, and the sauce (mayo +?) made everything taste sweet and sticky. I had tofu, but it lacks the basics, so the meat version can't be much better. The atmosphere and menu selection are actually inviting.

Incredibly disappointing! I tried Bahn mi with tofu and with beef, both equally disgusting. Bread roll tasted like paper, mayonnaise sauce was killing all other flavours, I had to throw it out after few bites. Will never come back!

I was there today and had a banh mi with tofu. I don't know any other Banh Mi's that have green pesto on them. The bread was good, but the sauces and vegetables were so-so. I'll stop by for something else when I do, but I'd rather eat Banh Mi somewhere else. The staff was really very friendly!

I got the Jet Lee - Burger menu (including curly fries and a soft drink) and paid under 11 euros so the price was really fair in my opinion. Curly fries was good but the burger wasn’t anything special. I’d like to try something else next time.

Unfortunately I didn't get the food I ordered. Also the chicken from the burger was terrible. It tasted like fish and old oil was as thick as the sole of a shoe. We haven't eaten so badly in a long time

Today I had the pleasure of doing a detailed tasting with my son and the head of the house. I'm as round as a ball and I have to honestly say that out of everything I've eaten, I can't decide which one was the best. Banh Mi Chicken: Price is nice, but the chicken is breaded which I don’t like and the bread was not a baguette. So for me not an original banh mi and wouldn’t order that again

Just ordered the ''original'' Pate Xa Xiu Banh Mi. Just as I thought after reading the reviews and looking at the menu. Its not very authentic in my humble opinion. (Why do you offer these random and generic asian sauces for the banh mi?) Sauces dont belong in Banh Mi. The food itself is not bad per se, however very far from what I call a Banh Mi. After trying Banh Mi in many many places around the world, this one was very average on not what I look for when eating Banh Mi. Why was there some sauce in the sandwich? Secondly, the bread although acceptable is very far from good or crunchy. Sorry just my honest opinion, but If you continue to put sauces in your Banh Mi sandwiches I will not come back.

Good banh mi sandwich, which however didn't strike me as particularly authentic. The choice of sauces just seems like some random Asian flavours, unfortunately. The bread is nice, though.

Ordering via Uber Eats: I ordered a burger menu with curly fries + 0.3l Pepsi Cola. Costs €13.80 The Cola was missing. Food was ok. I was only refunded 0.15 cents. So just the reusable one. Find out below why only 0.15 cents were returned. You can't buy the curly fries individually in the app... that's noticeable and I think the operator should be more transparent here. Now the bill: The burger costs €7.90 if you buy it individually. So now I paid €6 for a small portion of curly fries that isn't even listed? The receipt says that the side dishes cost €0. Fries 0€, Cola 0€ (0.15 cent reusable) Either a very clever move or a chain of coincidences. The delivery driver said “it’s not the first time and it happens often that the drink isn’t included”

The best Banh Mi from Berlin! I like coming here because the food and the location are great. Employees are also very nice.

The “Banh Mi” here is bread with a kebab sauce, or at least one that tastes like that, and red cabbage?! The “Tom Kha” soup is coconut milk with a few mushrooms. You won't find any spices.

I usually take Red Dragon for lunch, I like the taste and combination of vegetables, fish and rice. Today I discovered that the parsley was not washed and covered with sand. Please pay attention to this!

We went here to eat banh mi. The staff was very friendly and looked after us very nicely. The food was served quickly and we found it delicious. The ingredients were fresh and it was beautifully presented. However, it is relatively expensive in terms of price. It doesn't taste quite like it does in Vietnam, but if you're in the mood for banh mi, you're in good hands here.

Best banhmi I've had outside Hanoi

Having tried several banhmi places in Berlin I gotta say the banhmi here is pretty legit! Very generous with the pate. The bread is homemade. A little too saucy and salty for me but just right for my husband.

That was probably nothing. We had the Bruce Lee Burger, whose meat was, in my opinion, comparable to an old shoe sole. Whenever I tried to take a bite of the burger, I almost pulled out the entire patty because the consistency was so tough and fibrous that it was really difficult to bite off a piece. The breaded chicken must have been lying around somewhere for half the day before it was quickly reheated. The second cheek, in my opinion, was to charge a whopping €11 for a portion of rice, some salad and 4 fancy tofu slices cut into triangles, which had a hoisin reduction and were garnished with some spices. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it didn't taste good either. At least not as good as I would have wanted to spend €11 on. Based on our experiences, this was the first and last time we left our money in this store.

I am a pure vegetarian, and they gave me a chicken dish instead of tofu which I actually ordered. This sucks; I expected better of such a restaurant. Never ordering again.

A very tasty Bahn Mi. Great baguette - at least the one with the meat pie. The Ander Beef Bahn Mi had a different baguette that wasn't quite as nice. Overall it's very tasty and I'm really looking forward to the burger.

The food is really delicious. Banh Mi is one of my favorite foods. You should really try the banh mi there. From now on Xudu is one of my favorite restaurants.

Sometimes I came here to buy lunch and now I’m ready to give a feedback for this place… To be honest, it’s not really authentic, very average asian food, even for a european and it makes me a bit upset for the last time. In the bowls everything is filled with too sweet teriyaki, the salmon (Red Dragon bowl) is sometimes overcooked and the pieces have become smaller (I understand they try to survive and keep the prices at the same level, but for me as a client it works exactly the opposite). It would be great if in the new year they will rework their menu, corrected the mistakes and started adding at least a small piece of care to their dishes. But for now, sorry folks, I choose other options for lunchtime in this district.

Usually we lunch here with my colleges, the kitchen is usually ok, especially if you like teriyaki sauce. Tables inside are not very big and usually we're taking food out and going to eat somewhere else. Also prices went high and it's definitely starting to be not a lunch option. :( Best dish: Red Dragon

Boah wirklich beste Banh mi! Liebe das mit Rindfleisch. Meine Freundin hatte mit chicken und schmeckt genau so gut! Die Vorspeisen sind auch in Ordnung für den preis. Nette Kundenservice und sehr schnelles Essen. Musste echt nicht lange warten. Werde öfters wiederkommen.

Leider schlechtes Essen, hat einer von uns damals hier bewertet. Dann nach 8 Monaten eine Abmahnung bekommen und nach einem Beleg gefragt, weil bezweifelt wurde dass wir wirklich da waren. Dank Online-Bestellung konnten wir diese finden; inkl. Fotos. Begründung des Besitzers sei, dass er sich vor falschen Bewertungen schütze. Bei 4,5 Sternen wundert es mich, dass man anwaltlich gegen jede schlechte Bewertung hergeht in der Hoffnung einen noch höheren Durchschnitt zu bekommen, denn man zweifelt natürlich nur das Negative an. Sehr schade, denn so werden auch ehrliche negative Bewertung durch mangelnde „Beweislage“ entfernt, da die meisten das nach so einem Verzug natürlich nicht mehr nachweisen können. Toller Banh Mi mit viel Geschmack!

Ich esse hier sehr gerne mal. Die Vietnamesischen Baguettes sind vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht zu toppen. Netter Service und gemütliche Lokation.

Einmal die Woche geht es Mittags zu XUDU und bisher hab ich immmer jedes Mal ein Banh Mi (Nr. 22) gegessen, aber das ist auch so lecker, dass ich nie etwas anderes nehmen möchte

Haben dort gerade die 61 gegessen. Das Essen war noch mehr wie super. Eine gesunde Schärfe und man schmeckte sämtliche Aromen heraus. Besser geht nicht. Preis absolut o.k. Sehr empfehlenswert, wie in Vietnam.

2 Banh Mi gegessen, beide toll. Selbstgemachtes Brot. Preise sehr fair. Wer hier die Relationen betrachtet und meckert dem ist nicht zu helfen.

Ich kann mich meinen vorherigen Rezensionen nur anschließen. Das Essen hier schmeckt definitiv gut und der Preis ist mehr als Fair da kann man sich nicht beschweren. Aber es fehlt einfach dieses kleine Extra bei den Gerichten. Als Fan der vietnamesischen Küche hat es leider hier und dort an Authentizität gefehlt was zum Beispiel Ban Mi so besonders macht. Insgesamt waren wir aber zufrieden.

Banh Mi ist ein Scherz. Mega trockenes Brot und alles andere als authentisch. Das kann ich Zuhause besser.

My favorite banh mi place in all of Germany. The staff is super nice and the food is just out of this world amazing. Would also recommend the coffee, such a rich flavor with amazingly sweet condensed milk. The banh mi are all delicious, i especially recommend the original if you eat pork.

Als totaler Banh Mi Fan bin ich heute hier gelandet. Habe ein Banh Mi mit Hühnchen gegessen. War lecker und frisch, aber nicht sehr authentisch wie ich finde, weshalb ich nur 3 Sterne gebe. Gibt einfach viel bessere in Berlin. Personal ist sehr freundlich, Preise sind in Ordnung, zügige Zubereitung. Gerne wieder, dann aber kein Banh Mi mehr 😉😘 Edit: nachdem der Betreiber mich auf das Pate Banh Mi aufmerksam gemacht hat, sind wir nochmal hin und haben zwei weitere Banh Mi gegessen. Waren wie auch schon die anderen lecker, spielen aber nicht ganz oben mit, es gibt bessere. Karotten und Gurken könnten zb eingelegt sein.

Ich hatte mir heute ein Bánh mì pate xá xíu bestellt und war angenehm überrascht... Das Baguette hat eine schöne Konsistenz, aussen knusprig und der Teig sehr luftig....Fleisch und Paté sehr lecker. Gutes Đồ chua! Was ich mir wünschen würde wäre mal eine Version mit Nem nướng. Und Ihr solltet Das Brot auch einzeln anbieten! Top Job!

Hab' mich gefreut Banh Mi in Kreuzberg zu bekommen, aber das Erlebnis war etwas enttäuschend. Das Brot war ziemlich trocken und die Menge an Rindfleisch und Salat war überschaubar. Die veganen Sate-Spieße haben gut geschmeckt, die Soße könnte für meinen Geschmack kräftiger bzw. schärfer sein.

Essen ist toll und freundliche Bedienung.
