Koko & Lores in Berlin

Modernly furnished restaurant with very attentive service and a great concept. The brunch buffet is varied and the dishes are very tasty. We particularly liked the selection of desserts, as well as the egg dishes, which were freshly prepared. Price/performance is therefore absolutely fair. Reservations are recommended for large groups. The restaurant is very family-friendly, clean and cozy. Also recommended for vegetarians!

You felt a bit like you were in a canteen. Table to table and a good volume, but still comfortable. Despite the hustle and bustle, the service staff seemed very calm and helpful. You should reserve a table in advance. The food was plentiful and very tasty. There was everything your heart could desire and you could also have food freshly prepared in addition to the buffet. The reservation was a bit complicated online if you changed the number of people, but you didn't notice it on site. The time window in which we got an appointment was limited, so at times it felt like we were at a train station. The toilets were clean and tidy. Only the taps were a bit confusing to use.

Great, great food and super friendly and attentive staff.

The waiter was very attentive. There was a nice mix of warm dishes, small rolls and toppings, muesli and a chocolate fountain with pink chocolate as well as delicious desserts. Personally, I liked the cheese plate. The toilets were super clean and well lit.

We went for brunch with 4 people on a Sunday. We liked the selection and variety of dishes as much as the service. The only point deducted: it was quite loud and therefore tiring to have a long conversation at the table.

Very tasty brunch at a fair price. Also good vegan offer. It's a bit noisy in the main room, but quiet and relaxed in the back area.

5 stars for the brunch and for the entire staff in the restaurant "koko & lores". We would be happy to recommend koko & lores, they serve an excellent brunch, there is something for every taste and palate. We felt and were well looked after, thank you very much!

Everything was very tasty and well prepared. There was a huge selection of breakfast and lunch variations. It was always refilled, except the delicious guacomole and the buffalo mozzarella were never refilled, which is a shame! It was a lovely morning and we enjoyed it! Service top

Great ambience, a smaller but fine selection of dishes. Cold and theoretically warm; theoretically, since the warm dishes are left open and therefore don't stay really hot... but you don't have the trouble of keeping the lid on, etc. We would come back. You should definitely reserve in good time.

The food was great, the atmosphere was great and everything was replenished quickly and regularly until the end. Free water to refill would have been nice.

We were here for Sunday brunch. The food was consistently delicious and very varied. You could order the egg dishes individually (included in the brunch price) and a highlight was the chocolate fountain. It was a nice atmosphere, the service was very nice and always ready. Food was great. Ambiance is ok, but sometimes quite loud. Service was very busy, we had to wait quite a long time until someone came to us and getting the attention of a service person later (when someone walked past) wasn't that easy (also due to the noise). But we will come back, the food was great. There were many vegetarian/vegan dishes.

A very warm welcome and service was quick, attentive and super nice! Great atmosphere with really nice and modern furnishings! The brunch (all you can eat) was unfortunately only mediocre. The selection is good, but the quality is average and the hot dishes are a bit lukewarm, which is logical since everything is open. You can also order fresh ice cream dishes. Unfortunately it wasn't really warm and had little spice. For hot drinks with milk, you can choose a milk alternative free of charge, which we thought was good since most people charge extra for it. For €24 per person (excluding drinks) it was just okay. Concept is good. The fresh salmon and the cheese plate were my highlight! The chocolate fountain is funny.

Rolls are like rubber, poor preparation waits forever for drinks (coffee) and for me dogs have no place in the restaurant

The location itself is very beautiful. Very stylishly furnished, but I found the light not very comfortable and a bit bright (but a matter of taste). Overall, I can't give it a 3 star rating because the service wasn't that good. It's a bit unfortunate when you have to wait 30-40 minutes for your drink at brunch (after asking twice) and also more than 20 minutes when ordering twice. Of course, the waiter's annoyed reaction doesn't add to the overall experience. The scrambled egg can only be ordered by card. You get it very fresh and it tastes good too. However, it always took a very long time. The taste was quite good, 4 stars are at least justified here. But due to the poor service, definitely not more than 3 stars.

We waited several times for 30 minutes for drinks, the waiter was very unfriendly and never apologized. There was also no decaffeinated cappuccino and I had to wait over 30 minutes for the gluten-free bread, which meant I couldn't go to the buffet. There were actually enough waiters. The tables were placed too close together. My hot chocolate was also cold. The food was ok. Price-performance ratio is too expensive or inappropriate for me personally, at €40 per person!

Unfortunately it was very loud and the tables were very close together. Unfortunately, the biggest drawback is the service. We waited over 30 minutes for our cappuccino and coke. We waited just as long for the egg dishes. Unfortunately the cappuccino was no longer warm. After we complained and asked several times where our drinks were, we were unfortunately treated very unfriendly and we were not given any understanding. Absolute disgrace for €71 for 2 people. The food wasn't bad in taste. We would have liked more fruit.

Nice interior. Acoustics not good, crowded and loud... Staff friendly but couldn't keep up (too much to do, full?) Duck and sauce were very tasty, as was the fish and apple strudel. Otherwise nothing special, a lot of things ok. We were industries.

The brunch was varied and delicious. The service was good until the moment when we were quite persistently turned away from the table after 2:45 hours. Even if the homepage points out that the reservation is valid for 3 hours because the table can be reassigned after that, that's the calculation you can't deal with something like that! "The boss wants it that way." was the reason. We were mercifully allowed to eat our dessert on the couch. From there we could observe wonderfully that our table had not been reassigned. Thanks boss!

It was a wonderful brunch in terms of location, food and service. There is nothing to complain about. We'll definitely be back. A big plus point are the egg dishes, which are served at the table fresh from the kitchen.

Super diverse selection. Perfect for brunch. However, the large room and the background noise are reminiscent of a canteen. I would recommend reserving a table for 2 people, as then you don't have to sit in the large hall. Otherwise it kills the vibe a bit.

We (10) went to brunch for the first time today at Koko & Lores. It was great. Varied buffet that was constantly refilled until the end. The food was delicious and the service staff was very friendly. An all-round successful event. We'll be back!

The trip from distant Spandau was worth it for the brunch: well-kept and very tasteful location, unfortunately in the back area where the buffet is and where we sat, too loud to feel comfortable. Flexible room dividers or plant containers would certainly help here. The buffet is stocked to a high standard and all diets are catered for. It is constantly being refilled and everything is very clean and appetizingly prepared. You want to try everything. Freshness Egg dishes are included and can be ordered. The service is very quick and attentive! We will come back and then enjoy brunch in peace and quiet. Thank you very much!

Very attentive service and large selection of hot and cold dishes. We were in a larger group for Sunday brunch and everyone was very happy! Absolutely recommended!

We had brunch here for the second time today and were thrilled again. A good and tasty selection, including vegetarian dishes. What we particularly liked - that the dishes were different last time, so there was no boredom. And the service is great too! We'll definitely be back :)

Great weekend brunch. Were there on a Saturday with 16 people. Lots of food, hot and cold, for breakfast but also lunch. It was constantly being replenished and decorated. The service was quick and very friendly! All around great!

We were there for the brunch buffet. The buffet itself is okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the service on our day left something to be desired. Eggs were only made to order and took a very long time. You had actually already finished eating and then the eggs came, which was a shame. The ambience is a matter of taste and unfortunately it didn't suit my taste. It was far too open and didn't look inviting. It looked very wild and unstructured in my opinion. A very nice atmosphere with very good service. The brunch selection is great for the price. There is everything from fish to hearty roasts to a chocolate fountain. And a diverse selection of vegetarian dishes as well as the option to order vegan sausage and cheese at no extra charge. Milk alternatives don't cost extra here either, thanks for that. Cash and card payment possible.

It's a great place for long brunches. There is a variety of food almost for every taste. We were three people and enjoyed our meeting and food. We stayed almost until they closed, which was about 3 hours in total. They were fine with that. I took one star away because the cappuccino they served me was cold and not as tasty. I also waited for it for quite some time.

I would have liked to give it 4.5/5. The location is appealing, great furniture, good service and the food on offer is very tasty. Only the loud acoustics in the inner area dampen the mood somewhat. All in all, I will warmly recommend Koko & Lores to all friends, acquaintances and relatives. We'll be back.

Really lovely service & taste/value for the cosy. I loved that there was a big selection of savoury, almost like a traditional sunday lunch. The sweet items could have been more varied but the tiramisu was great. The service was fantastic and the servers should really be tipped well!

Very good, but in my opinion bit overpriced brunch. Variety of food was very good. All in all a very nice experience and very friendly staff. But because of the price of the buffet and the drinks this was a one time only for me.

Good breakfast buffet - great selection. There is something for everyone.

We were there for breakfast, the buffet costs around 23 euros, including egg dishes, which are ordered separately from the staff. There is a large selection of classic breakfasts and also lunch options from 10 a.m. (fish, roast turkey and pasta). Classic brunch. Unfortunately, some of the food had already cooled down. Also goes to the toilet, restaurant new and really nice, stylishly decorated! We were a bit shocked by the price, so we paid 2.56 euros for the brunch 🫠 Nobody can eat that, unless you really sit there for hours...

Although the restaurant was very busy, there was no crowd at the buffet. What we liked best was that the tables weren't placed too close together so that we didn't feel like we were getting in the way of each other getting up. This is not a given. Overall it was a nice experience, but you would expect a little more for the price. Unfortunately, the rolls were rock hard and in other locations you at least get a free drink included with brunch. Unfortunately there wasn't any here and the drink prices are already very high. What was good: Super lovely service staff! Everything was replenished regularly. The fruits + the pink chocolate fountain were very tasty. The pancakes were also wonderfully fluffy and tasty. That's why it's a good four stars. Definitely make a reservation!

The restaurant is very modern and has a great interior. We had brunch there on a Sunday and were very satisfied. For the price of €24 per person you have a large selection of rolls, jams, muesli and warm dishes. The egg dishes are included and you can choose from them, drinks are also great. There is also a terrace and the staff is very attentive and friendly.

The price was a bit more intense but we thought the brunch was great. Sufficient vegetarian and vegan selection at the buffet and fresh vegan cheese and sausage available upon request. Fresh egg dishes delivered to your table, included in the brunch. Service youthful, fast and very friendly. Modern ambience inside and outside with a feel-good factor. Toilets clean. We met friends there for brunch. Very nice ambience in retro style. The staff is also very friendly and we felt very comfortable there. Particularly noteworthy is the service staff, who shine through their friendliness and professionalism and have a significant positive influence on the overall impression. I give this a full 5 points. The brunch buffet, on the other hand, is disappointing due to the predominant use of convenience products that are average in taste and not convincing in quality. By 10:00 a.m., many of the hot dishes were no longer really warm, and there was no clear separation of the plates for hot and cold dishes. The dessert consisted almost entirely of convenience products, with the exception of some fresh fruit, which, however, is not a great culinary art. Overall, the food only receives 2 points. Overall, the buffet is more reminiscent of a canteen, but presents itself in a modern atmosphere. Despite these criticisms, the restaurant was well attended and even very full at peak time.

Absolutely amazing. We were there today (Saturday) and are thrilled. Very friendly staff and fresh food, which was always refilled. Everything your heart desires is there, even vegan dishes and gluten-free bread upon request. The only thing we were missing was ice cream 🤪🍨 Iced coffee and cocktails were also great. A really nice restaurant with a great ambience. The service was very friendly, but unfortunately very slow. You wait quite a long time for the drinks and to be able to place an order, as you could only order from one waitress in the restaurant. Maybe we also had a bad day when staff were absent. Unfortunately, the buffet was not convincing for the price. The food was delicious, but the selection and variety didn't really blow us away. The vegan offering was also sparse. A few different spreads or some interesting salads would definitely have improved the whole thing. Overall it was ok, but it could definitely be better.

Venue is lovely and staff is very nice and friendly. We came with a little dog and they brought water for him, without us asking for it, which was very nice. However I was quiet disappointed by the food. There are a lof of options, but the quality was not there. Especially the sweet section. I would not come back.

Modern atmosphere, very friendly and attentive service, price-performance ratio is not entirely consistent. Find 24€ per person (without at least one drink included) a bit excessive. There were no descriptions of the hot dishes and the selection of muesli, for example, was a bit poor. There was no yoghurt, no fruit, no Bircher muesli here. I had a better selection for less money.

We spent the morning there for Mother's Day. It was really nice. Great ambience, great brunch buffet, the Benedict egg was great. When we arrived, the waitress unfortunately only offered us seats right at the door (even though almost all tables were free) and then left us there alone without comment. It dragged and in the end some of the waitresses were a bit annoyed because the children's chair was of course also bulky in the way. (In particular, the person who sat us there was annoyed by the narrow corridors. We ourselves were a bit worried that something might fall on our son) That was a really bad choice... But the other waitresses were super nice.

We had the time from 1 p.m., unfortunately the buffet was already very empty and was only filled sporadically, unfortunately the bread and rolls were no longer replenished. We didn't leave hungry, but at 10 a.m. the brunch is perfect, the fish platter is still completely nice, everything is still tidy. At 1 p.m. the buffet was very messy, spoons were missing or the food was mixed up, there were probably guests with a spoon gone through everything once. That was somehow unsavory. So it's best to come for brunch at 10 a.m.
