Koko & Lores in Berlin

Really great (new) brunch spot – super friendly staff, delicious food, and good service. The only thing that bothered me was the noise level in the larger hall – but since we also have children, we're part of the problem here :-) But maybe some acoustic panels could help?!

It's really a nice brunch restaurant with super tasty food and a wide selection. Guests big and small will find something tasty, and vegetarians and vegans are also taken into consideration. A small table trash can would have been desirable and I thought €7.20 for a 0.7 liter bottle of water was pretty steep. Next time we'll try to just order tap water. 😉 We'll definitely be back!

We went for brunch on Easter Monday 2025. We had a table for four away from the buffet, which proved to be advantageous as the seats in the brunch area were relatively noisy. The buffet was plentiful and was always replenished. Everything tasted excellent. The service was very attentive and friendly. That's why there are clear recommendations 👌🏻

Great shop, very nicely decorated and, above all, the tables are set up so that everyone has enough space. Super nice, very attentive staff. We went for brunch and empty plates and glasses were always cleared away straight away and drink orders were taken and served quickly. Two small negative points: due to the high ceilings it has a bit of a train station feel and it is quite loud overall. The food was very diverse, from savory to sweet, warm and cold, vegetarian and vegan, everything was represented. Egg dishes were even served fresh. Small drawback: some of the hot dishes were unfortunately almost cold, so there could be a bit of improvement. Definitely a shop that I can recommend with a clear conscience. Keep it up!

The food was excellent, with a good selection. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free—everything is possible. Fresh egg dishes can be requested. We sat in the small adjoining room, which was great; the large room is much too loud and uncomfortable. We missed some fruit, except for the chocolate fountain. The salad looked like it came from a bag and wasn't very appetizing.

We celebrated my wife's 30th birthday with 16 people. We had a nice seat by the entrance. The waitress who was in charge of our table made a lot of effort despite a few mistakes and was always friendly, so we have no complaints in that regard. It was very loud in the restaurant, but okay, with high ceilings and about 100 people in the room, that was bearable. Now, however, we come to the big BUT. Of the 16 people, 6 unfortunately had diarrhea and stomach problems. And yes, we had all only eaten there. I know there's a lot to do, and I overlook that, too, as I'm a chef myself. Even the hard rolls, instant food, eggs Benedict with runny egg whites, and ready-made hollandaise... BUT expired food???? Hey, then open a new package if it isn't homemade. But that's really disgusting. We definitely won't be back. It's a shame, really, since the reviews looked good. But apparently they are no longer an index these days.

We were at Koko&Lores today on the occasion of my birthday. Especially because we were there with children, it was very pleasant, not cramped and everyone had enough space. The buffet was very good, there was something for everyone. After our time, we even took a seat outside, the weather permitted it. Many thanks to the employees who worked the hours patiently and very professionally. We'd love to come back!

What a fantastic brunch experience at Koko & Lores! I was greeted very warmly at the entrance and immediately taken to my table. It didn't take long before the very nice young lady came to my place again to take my drink order. Only a short time later I received my very tasty rhubarb spritzer. Everything in the restaurant was very clean and modern. In my opinion, the available selection of dishes was very large and absolutely sufficient (see pictures). What wasn't visible in the pictures - there was also natural yogurt, coconut yogurt and various toppings (coconut flakes, chia seeds, linseeds, chocolate pearls, etc.). The food was constantly replenished and I personally enjoyed everything. All in all, a very excellent brunch that I very much hope to be able to visit again in the future. The service was great, everything was tasty. I have to deduct one point when eating because the food wasn't covered and the heat comes from below, things like rice were sometimes very dried out.

It's a bit pricey but you can find something to suit every taste and no one went home hungry. The highlight of course is the chocolate fountain.

I was there twice yesterday, this time as a large group for my birthday and once again it was perfect. All the friends and family loved it too and we will all be back. The food, staff and the ambience are simply great, you can happily spend a few hours there and enjoy the great food

It's a really nice place with very tasty food. The selection at brunch was very good and large. It was always replenished and there was something for every taste. We just had to wait a little longer to be asked for drinks. However, it was also quite well attended. We'll definitely go there again.

5* overall just not because the price is quite high at €24.50. Probably owed to the district. But everything else was great, especially the service. We'll definitely come back 😊

Very completed, varied and well prepared and presented brunch. Lost of salad, meat, fish, chesses, bread... and a fountain of chocolate-strtaberry. Only maybe not so many fruits. Modern huge place, and very nice personal.

Delicious brunch in a nice atmosphere

It was all really delicious. The service was great 👍🏼 Unfortunately we found it very loud throughout as the room was filled with people. But that doesn't make the visit any worse. We still felt very comfortable and will come back.

We went for brunch today and really liked what was on offer. The location is a little bigger than expected and quite modern… A little bit of ambience might be missing to make it perfect. Service and quality were good.

Modernly furnished restaurant with very attentive service and a great concept. The brunch buffet is varied and the dishes are very tasty. We particularly liked the selection of desserts, as well as the egg dishes, which were freshly prepared. Price/performance is therefore absolutely fair. Reservations are recommended for large groups. The restaurant is very family-friendly, clean and cozy. Also recommended for vegetarians!

You felt a bit like you were in a canteen. Table to table and a good volume, but still comfortable. Despite the hustle and bustle, the service staff seemed very calm and helpful. You should reserve a table in advance. The food was plentiful and very tasty. There was everything your heart could desire and you could also have food freshly prepared in addition to the buffet. The reservation was a bit complicated online if you changed the number of people, but you didn't notice it on site. The time window in which we got an appointment was limited, so at times it felt like we were at a train station. The toilets were clean and tidy. Only the taps were a bit confusing to use.

The waiter was very attentive. There was a nice mix of warm dishes, small rolls and toppings, muesli and a chocolate fountain with pink chocolate as well as delicious desserts. Personally, I liked the cheese plate. The toilets were super clean and well lit.

We went for brunch with 4 people on a Sunday. We liked the selection and variety of dishes as much as the service. The only point deducted: it was quite loud and therefore tiring to have a long conversation at the table.

Very tasty brunch at a fair price. Also good vegan offer. It's a bit noisy in the main room, but quiet and relaxed in the back area.

5 stars for the brunch and for the entire staff in the restaurant "koko & lores". We would be happy to recommend koko & lores, they serve an excellent brunch, there is something for every taste and palate. We felt and were well looked after, thank you very much!

Great ambience, a smaller but fine selection of dishes. Cold and theoretically warm; theoretically, since the warm dishes are left open and therefore don't stay really hot... but you don't have the trouble of keeping the lid on, etc. We would come back. You should definitely reserve in good time.

Everything was very tasty and well prepared. There was a huge selection of breakfast and lunch variations. It was always refilled, except the delicious guacomole and the buffalo mozzarella were never refilled, which is a shame! It was a lovely morning and we enjoyed it! Service top

We were here for Sunday brunch. The food was consistently delicious and very varied. You could order the egg dishes individually (included in the brunch price) and a highlight was the chocolate fountain. It was a nice atmosphere, the service was very nice and always ready. A very warm welcome and service was quick, attentive and super nice! Great atmosphere with really nice and modern furnishings! The brunch (all you can eat) was unfortunately only mediocre. The selection is good, but the quality is average and the hot dishes are a bit lukewarm, which is logical since everything is open. You can also order fresh ice cream dishes. Unfortunately it wasn't really warm and had little spice. For hot drinks with milk, you can choose a milk alternative free of charge, which we thought was good since most people charge extra for it. For €24 per person (excluding drinks) it was just okay. Concept is good. The fresh salmon and the cheese plate were my highlight! The chocolate fountain is funny.

Rolls are like rubber, poor preparation waits forever for drinks (coffee) and for me dogs have no place in the restaurant

Unfortunately it was very loud and the tables were very close together. Unfortunately, the biggest drawback is the service. We waited over 30 minutes for our cappuccino and coke. We waited just as long for the egg dishes. Unfortunately the cappuccino was no longer warm. After we complained and asked several times where our drinks were, we were unfortunately treated very unfriendly and we were not given any understanding. Absolute disgrace for €71 for 2 people. The food wasn't bad in taste. We would have liked more fruit.

The location itself is very beautiful. Very stylishly furnished, but I found the light not very comfortable and a bit bright (but a matter of taste). Overall, I can't give it a 3 star rating because the service wasn't that good. It's a bit unfortunate when you have to wait 30-40 minutes for your drink at brunch (after asking twice) and also more than 20 minutes when ordering twice. Of course, the waiter's annoyed reaction doesn't add to the overall experience. The scrambled egg can only be ordered by card. You get it very fresh and it tastes good too. However, it always took a very long time. The taste was quite good, 4 stars are at least justified here. But due to the poor service, definitely not more than 3 stars.

We waited several times for 30 minutes for drinks, the waiter was very unfriendly and never apologized. There was also no decaffeinated cappuccino and I had to wait over 30 minutes for the gluten-free bread, which meant I couldn't go to the buffet. There were actually enough waiters. The tables were placed too close together. My hot chocolate was also cold. The food was ok. Price-performance ratio is too expensive or inappropriate for me personally, at €40 per person!

Nice interior. Acoustics not good, crowded and loud... Staff friendly but couldn't keep up (too much to do, full?) Duck and sauce were very tasty, as was the fish and apple strudel. Otherwise nothing special, a lot of things ok. We were industries.

The brunch was varied and delicious. The service was good until the moment when we were quite persistently turned away from the table after 2:45 hours. Even if the homepage points out that the reservation is valid for 3 hours because the table can be reassigned after that, that's the calculation you can't deal with something like that! "The boss wants it that way." was the reason. We were mercifully allowed to eat our dessert on the couch. From there we could observe wonderfully that our table had not been reassigned. Thanks boss!

Super diverse selection. Perfect for brunch. However, the large room and the background noise are reminiscent of a canteen. I would recommend reserving a table for 2 people, as then you don't have to sit in the large hall. Otherwise it kills the vibe a bit.

The trip from distant Spandau was worth it for the brunch: well-kept and very tasteful location, unfortunately in the back area where the buffet is and where we sat, too loud to feel comfortable. Flexible room dividers or plant containers would certainly help here. The buffet is stocked to a high standard and all diets are catered for. It is constantly being refilled and everything is very clean and appetizingly prepared. You want to try everything. Freshness Egg dishes are included and can be ordered. The service is very quick and attentive! We will come back and then enjoy brunch in peace and quiet. Thank you very much!

We had brunch here for the second time today and were thrilled again. A good and tasty selection, including vegetarian dishes. What we particularly liked - that the dishes were different last time, so there was no boredom. And the service is great too! We'll definitely be back :)

We were there for the brunch buffet. The buffet itself is okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the service on our day left something to be desired. Eggs were only made to order and took a very long time. You had actually already finished eating and then the eggs came, which was a shame. The ambience is a matter of taste and unfortunately it didn't suit my taste. It was far too open and didn't look inviting. It looked very wild and unstructured in my opinion. A very nice atmosphere with very good service. The brunch selection is great for the price. There is everything from fish to hearty roasts to a chocolate fountain. And a diverse selection of vegetarian dishes as well as the option to order vegan sausage and cheese at no extra charge. Milk alternatives don't cost extra here either, thanks for that. Cash and card payment possible.

It's a great place for long brunches. There is a variety of food almost for every taste. We were three people and enjoyed our meeting and food. We stayed almost until they closed, which was about 3 hours in total. They were fine with that. I took one star away because the cappuccino they served me was cold and not as tasty. I also waited for it for quite some time.

Really lovely service & taste/value for the cosy. I loved that there was a big selection of savoury, almost like a traditional sunday lunch. The sweet items could have been more varied but the tiramisu was great. The service was fantastic and the servers should really be tipped well!

I would have liked to give it 4.5/5. The location is appealing, great furniture, good service and the food on offer is very tasty. Only the loud acoustics in the inner area dampen the mood somewhat. All in all, I will warmly recommend Koko & Lores to all friends, acquaintances and relatives. We'll be back.

Very good, but in my opinion bit overpriced brunch. Variety of food was very good. All in all a very nice experience and very friendly staff. But because of the price of the buffet and the drinks this was a one time only for me.

Good breakfast buffet - great selection. There is something for everyone.

We were there for breakfast, the buffet costs around 23 euros, including egg dishes, which are ordered separately from the staff. There is a large selection of classic breakfasts and also lunch options from 10 a.m. (fish, roast turkey and pasta). Classic brunch. Unfortunately, some of the food had already cooled down. Also goes to the toilet, restaurant new and really nice, stylishly decorated! We were a bit shocked by the price, so we paid 2.56 euros for the brunch 🫠 Nobody can eat that, unless you really sit there for hours...

What we liked best was that the tables weren't placed too close together so that we didn't feel like we were getting in the way of each other getting up. This is not a given.
