Wok me Up in Perl

Went there with the kids this weekend. First and last time. Despite the miserable weather and no business, I waited 30 minutes for an order. The food also got cold relatively quickly, and the quality was really mediocre. I can't understand all the positive comments.

Very fresh food made on-site, peetty good quantities, price ok and chef very friendly! Wifi internet available, free parking, covered terace and also uncovered. Shall come back for sure!

Unfortunately, it's deteriorated considerably in recent months. The quality of the meat and vegetables is no longer what it was in years past. It's clear that they're cutting corners on the produce. The wait times are also enormous. I understand that this gentleman has a regular clientele, but the other customers shouldn't suffer as a result. Our monthly outing with the boys will now be taking place elsewhere. It's a shame, because it used to be a good store.

Then you think, yes, snack. But then the owner surprises you with a culinary delight that we, at least, have never experienced in a snack bar. Very delicate and prepared from fresh ingredients. It just takes a while. That's why it's best to order something in advance by phone. Absolutely within the price range. Absolutely addictive for us. Top!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place really deserved one. I was having a long day, smoked some of the good stuff, if you know what I mean 😉, and it was perfect. He smiles at you, asks what food you want… makes it, then asks if you want to eat it there or take it away. He packs it up nicely and hands it over with a smile (and if you’re a regular, he’ll even ask how you liked your last meal). Plus, it doesn’t break the bank, which is amazing. Perfect in every way.

Food was really great. Duck not dry, rice tasty and not bland. To take away it's better to call ahead if you like it and the price is right too.

We ordered 9 dishes in the store, which was empty at the time. After more than 40 minutes of waiting on site - during which there was no further order - 5 dishes were ready, the remaining ones would have taken another 30 minutes after we asked. We then canceled these. Although the food was freshly prepared, the taste was more than marginal and the rice was overcooked. We probably just had a bad day, otherwise the otherwise good reviews can't really be explained for us.

It’s a very small place . Chef is just amazing and very friendly. Everything that was used for preparation was fresh and made to taste . The kitchen was very clean. I absolutely loved it . The food is very nice. I look forward to visit again in summers .

Got great food. The boss cooks here, or rather conjures up, very tasty wok dishes. I was there with my work colleague for a quick lunch. The ambience has a lot of room for improvement, but the taste of the food doesn't, because it was just perfect.

Positively...no...VERY positively surprised... Actually, I haven't been so positively surprised in a while... Everything is freshly prepared, top quality, tastes great and the boss is extremely friendly. I can only recommend! I don't need to say much more... :-)

Simple, tasty, fresh and not expensive! What more could a person need? We stop there when we go to Saarland. Just get off the motorway, get cheaper fuel in Luxembourg and 600m across the border is that 'Wok me up' place. From the outside it doesn't look anything special, the quality, quantity and price more than compensate for the lack of decorum. As they say in English, no much show but a lot of go!
