First and last visit. I ordered chanterelles with bread dumplings. After a lot of searching, I was able to discover traces of chanterelles in the watery sauce. For the price I thought it was a disgrace!! For 30 cents of chanterelles and two dumplings, far too expensive! The service was friendly but a bit overwhelmed. Did all three have their first day? There were four of us and unfortunately none of us were happy with the food. ATTENTION: Chanterelle dishes may contain traces of mushrooms... :-(

We were there spontaneously on Monday evening without a reservation and the place was already very full and a bit noisy (typical pub). Nevertheless, a small table was organized for us. The selection of food was also sufficient for me as a vegetarian. The two service staff at our table were very quick, friendly and attentive. The food (cheese spaetzle with salad, dumplings with chanterelles, followed by crème brûlée) was brought to us surprisingly promptly and tasted really delicious. I found the price/performance to be okay for a pub and the quality of the food definitely exceeded my expectations. I recommend a table reservation to be on the safe side. Parking could be a bit hassle.

The food was great, the tapas idea was also great. Sitting in the beer garden is great. Only the question about dessert or another round of drinks after the meal was left unanswered. Too bad. But overall it's okay.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the food today... in contrast to summer 23, the dishes were changed a lot, unfortunately for the negative. Unfortunately we didn't like the potato salad, fried potatoes and Maultaschen. Beer garden is very nice, service was very friendly and quick. Unfortunately for us the price-performance ratio is no longer right.

The three of us were there spontaneously yesterday and thought it was good. The roast suckling pig was really tasty and beautifully prepared. The Maultaschen were also good. We were absolutely thrilled by the attentive and super friendly service. Hardly any waiting time for food and drinks, always a friendly smile. It is a small green spot with beer garden charm. The prices are a little higher and the Maultaschen were rather a small portion, but still appropriate for the quality. The Kaiserschmarren, on the other hand, was huge for the price and really tasty. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable in the long run and overall the seating was very dense in order to accommodate as many guests as possible. We still felt really comfortable. The target group is completely mixed. There are people in shirts sitting next to others in flip-flops. Everyone is welcome. Thanks for the nice evening 😊

A beautiful beer garden - under old trees - friendly service - delicious food and no day off - what more could you want...

We have known about the beer garden for a long time. We have been here several times in the summer in the past. Unfortunately, we always had bad luck with the service and the very long time it took for orders to be taken and the food to arrive. Everything was fine today. 😁 Very friendly service. Order drinks early. A short time later the food could be ordered. And after about 30 minutes after ordering, a very tasty 😋 meal, in large enough portions and served at the same time, was at our table of six people. We were very excited and will now come back more often. Keep it up.👍🏽

Great beer garden, but overloaded with too many tables. You can hear everything from the neighboring tables, whether you want to or not. Bellheimer beer is a matter of taste. But in my opinion the prices are not appropriate. Overall, the price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all. Great environment! The food is all very expensive, then it just has to be right. The sausage salad was coarsely chopped, warm and seasoned carelessly. The fried potatoes weren't crispy. It could have cost 10.5O! I ordered a crystal wheat cold. Unfortunately not cold. I don't go there specifically.

Waren schon jahrelang hier. Normalerweise ist der Biergarten bei gutem Wetter proppevoll. Diesmal nicht. SALATVARIATION MIT BLATT- & ROHKOSTSALATEN € 16,50 mit saftigem Pollo fino € +6,00 = €22,50. Die Qulität des Salates war matschig, mit 2 Salatgurken Stückchen und Huhn. Die Krönung war derSalat auf der Pffifferlingskarte. Salat mit sautierten Pfifferlingen und Rindfleischstreifen. Salat lappig auch hier 2 Gurkenstückchen und 4 halbe Minitomaten und die Rindfleischstreifen waren teilweise angekokelt statt durch. Pfifferlinge sautiert, na ja. Nie wieder

There were four of us in the super nice beer garden on Saturday lunchtime, the food was great, the service was very attentive, friendly and warm and professional and courteous, even with minor carelessness! Perfect, will definitely come back, absolutely recommended❣️

Service friendly and quick. The atmosphere outside among the Trees 🌳 very beautiful. However, the seating is not made for long periods of sitting. 🙆🏻‍♀️ The sausage salad with fried potatoes lacked a bit of “oomph” and was seasoned too lightly. The juice spritzer could have used a little carbonation, but unfortunately it tasted like feet that had fallen asleep 🙈

Were here for the first time today, but certainly not the last time. Nice beer garden, very attentive and friendly service. Homemade gazspacho from the daily menu extremely tasty and veal liver Berlin style was super tasty. Cheese spaetzle with melted onions & salad with chanterelles are also highly recommended. This inn is definitely worth a visit.

We've been coming to feudenheim every now and then for years. It was and is always beautiful both on the terrace and inside. Service is friendly but, like everywhere else, quite overloaded on a warm Friday evening. Food okay, BUT... The pricing is sporty... I don't even want to talk about the drinks, that's been a thing in Mannheim's speckguertel for a long time, but the ratio between price and portion size is right (especially for the tapas) in our opinion not consistent. Tiny bowls with 3 slices of beetroot and then a thaler of fresh goat cheese on top... and a dollop of cooked cheese with 3 onion rings + 2 mini bread rolls. The price was around 6 euros (I don't remember exactly, and the online menu is not up to date) for 4 people with pure beer garden dishes (2 x sausage salad, 1 x cheese spaetzle and 2 tapas) we left a good 120 €. That actually seemed like too much to us. And the general price increase doesn't explain everything either. It's a shame actually. No longer interesting for us in the near future.

Great beer garden, super delicious food and the absolute highlight: the service team! It's really rare to find something like this: super friendly, very attentive and lots of beaming faces. I find some of the food too expensive for a gardening establishment.

The salad for €16.60 is overpriced and very little. Quality is just mediocre. The fact that a plate like this for what appears to be a ready-made Metro salad is being sold at such a price is a complete rip-off! Bottle of water (0.7L) for €7.20 is also a no go. The owner should think about the prices.

We were served by a young woman who wasn't above putting a smile on the customers' faces. Super friendly! The drinks and food came very quickly! We had cordon bleu and suckling pig, which tasted incredibly good! I would love to come back again, especially with such great service :)

It's been a long time since I've been to Essen in the Neckar Valley. The beer garden and the ambience are still great. What has definitely deteriorated compared to before is the service and the quality of the food. The prices have risen considerably. For 2 people, main course and drinks, we paid over €80 and in return we got a meal that was unimaginatively put together, poorly seasoned and not exactly filling. The service also seemed unskilled or semi-skilled and wasn't exactly on the ball. We won't be coming back any time soon. A pity!

Thanks to Lisa, we managed to get some food. Another colleague tried to brush us off... Lisa knows how to deal with customers. Lisa is great! COLLEAGUES FLOP!

I had dinner there today with my old school class and we were all very disappointed. I ordered a normal schnitzel because I thought you couldn't go wrong with it. Of course, for 25 euros you expect something with quality, but it came without an insert, which I only got after asking. In addition, the schnitzel tasted like it came out of the bag!!! Leider waren die 'Linguine mit Riesengarnelen' für 24,50 € ihr Geld nicht wert, allerhöchstens die Hälfte davon, denn es waren nur 3 kleine Garnelen in dem Haufen Pasta... mehr war es nicht. Und das soll 24,50 EUR wert sein? Ein Witz, weswegen wir das Lokal wegen Überteuerung und Übervorteilung nicht mehr aufsuchen werden...

Price: Unfortunately not (anymore) medium, too expensive for the service, the drinks prices are unreasonable. The service was friendly, but overwhelmed: we forgot what we ordered when we ordered at the table, and the espresso for dessert. Don't look at the guest, every service had to be summoned. It's a shame - it used to be a good restaurant with a middle class standard, now the prices are high and the service is no longer even mediocre. What has happened there? Change of restaurateur?

The food was good. However, there is more to the asking price! The service was subpar. A young waiter took our drink order and was never seen at our table again. Food came, salad was missing. We were never asked if everything was okay. In general, our table was almost completely avoided. The waiter did not understand our complaint about the poor service. We were offered a coffee as compensation, but after the unsatisfactory stay we declined. We only tipped for the kitchen, we didn't appreciate the service. Very disappointing.

Wir hatten unseren monatlichen Stammtisch diesmal dort. Das Preisniveau war uns vorher bekannt. Der Service war gut, aber nicht herausragend. Der Biergarten ist sehr schön. Das Essen war sehr gut, allerdings muss ich mich den anderen Bewertungen anschließen: die Portion war nicht ausreichend. Ich hatte das Spargelgemüse mit Pfannkuchen, satt wurde ich nicht. Ich esse traditionell Schinken zu diesem Gericht, der war ausgezeichnet und hier war die Portion dem Preis angemessen.

The food was quite good, it's super nice to sit under the shady trees, even though there's a road running past you can hardly hear any traffic noise. The beer garden was full, but it was easy to have a conversation - that's the advantage of sitting outside. We had to wait over an hour for our food. That wasn't a problem, we had time and enjoyed the great weather. The waitress also told us that it would still take a while - so it really wasn't a problem for us. The prices are so high that I still won't come back. 22 euros for a salad with chicken? Or 17 euros for a tarte flambée?! Not to mention the drinks. I was very shocked when I saw the prices. I know it's like that almost everywhere - but only ALMOST. If you don't mind that, you're in good hands, the service is very friendly and you can enjoy your meal very well.

Map has been slightly changed and more innovative. In my opinion, the sauerbraten should be taken off the menu. It's been on the menu for what feels like 15 years. I find it difficult to keep up with the 24/7, 52 weeks. Much more attractive as an action. But I'm not a restaurateur :-)

It was after lunchtime on a Monday when we were looking for a place to have German food on a Monday. The sun was shining and we decided to eat in the beer garden. Service was friendly and the food delicious. We enjoyed the Spanferkel Roll, Schnitzel and a big salad. Followed by an apple strudel

I like to eat there both personally and on business. When it's full it's a bit too noisy (inside). But otherwise it's great, it's fresh, selected ingredients that are prepared perfectly, I like to eat well and here it's uncomplicated and consistently top. The menu is manageable, which I particularly like because the team has worked on certain dishes and perfected them. There are great daily specials that are adapted to the season. I ordered a medium fillet steak 2 days ago, it was well done but incredibly tasty. When I asked if everything was ok, I mentioned this and the kitchen insisted on bringing me the half-eaten meal again with an incredibly tasty fillet I really enjoyed the fact that the chef attaches great importance to 100% performance/service. That's 6 stars for the Wirtshaus zum Neckartal, I will always be happy to come to you, greetings Manuel Ritter

The food was quite ok. The portions are not particularly large. But the prices are really amazing. Very manageable map. So I don't think it's appropriate to pay €22 for a portion of salad with some beef. I think a non-alcoholic wheat for €5.90 is really cheeky. So I probably won't come anymore.

We ate here with our two children last week and had a terrible experience. When our ordered food was served We were all very happy about it and started eating. I ordered gnocci with strips of beef and started eating. Suddenly a maggot runs out of the food onto the edge of the plate as you can see in the picture. We were literally horrified and all of us couldn't eat at the same time and we immediately informed the management about it. I didn't have to pay for my food, but that's a small consolation since my husband had to pay for his food. The health department must be urgently involved here. I cannot recommend the inn and strongly advise against eating here It's a real shame that the man had to pay for the rest of the meal. As mentioned, we will consider the health department.

Unser Besuch am 24.2.24 war ärgerlich! Ich (69 J) kann mich an kein Abendessen erinnern, was derart schlecht und überteuert war. die sogenannte Tafelspitz Brühe kann ich im Geschmack nicht bewerten, denn sie hatte keinen. (8,9€) Das Cassoulet Gans (19,8€) bestand aus ein paar Löffeln weißen Bohnen ( Dose?) und einigen Stückchen Räucher Speck, einigen Fetzen Fleisch ( Huhn?) und einem ca. 10gr. schweren Brocken Gans. Geschmack.? >keiner !! Tapa Lachs: Eine Gabel Räucher Lachs (9.8€) Ein Witz!! Ich habe in keiner Mensa je so schlecht gegessen. Getränke ca. 20-30% über dem Standard. Ich kann nur empfehlen, bei einem Besuch, der sicher angenehmen Location das Essen und die Getränke mitzubringen und einen Beilagen Salat zu bestellen (5€) Im Übrigen war die Rechnung dann auch noch fehlerhaft. Ich ging bestimmt 30 Jahren mehr oder weniger regelmäßig ins Neckartal, aber das war der letzte Besuch. Sehr schade.

I think it's expensive for a plated meal because the savoy cabbage and spaetzle weren't really warm and the goulash wasn't tender. 2nd visit Rumpsteak was very good.

Ok, but at least not on this day anymore. Rustic atmosphere, which doesn't have to be a disadvantage. Service seemed stressed, not attentive and not very accommodating. Mulled wine was discounter quality. We decided not to eat when we were very directly offered to pay if we didn't want to order anything else.

There were three of us dining in the restaurant. The service was very good, quick and attentive. The drinks came to our table very quickly, the drink selection was very varied and good. The food was served after a short wait and looked appealing. The portion sizes were not excessive and could have been a little larger. We didn't have a starter, just two pasta dishes with cheese and strips of meat and once the (very tender) beef tongue and no dessert. With two drinks per person my tip came to around 100 euros. I think our dinner was well paid for, especially since my two blackheads were already hungry again when they left the restaurant.

Charging €29.50 for a Wienerschnitzel without a starter and serving dried cranberries and lemon is not okay. Unfortunately, it would not be recommended in this case. Das Essen ist völlig überteuert. Ich bekomme in anderen Restaurants für die Hälfte des Preises besseres Essen und auch mehr Quantität. Beispiel: Rehrücken: 33 €...absolut unverschämt für die Menge und Qualität. Das Fleisch war ein einziger, grober Klotz anstatt fein geschnitten (wie z.B. beim Italiener). Folge: das Fleisch war nicht durch, hart, trocken und schwer zu schneiden. Es scheint eine "deutsche Unart" zu sein, einen "Fleischklumpen" zu servieren...total unkultiviert. Das habe ich leider oft erlebt und frage mich immer wieder: "Was soll das???". Geräuschkulisse: wie eine Mischung aus Maschinenraum und Wäscherei: die megalaute Kaffeemaschine und das laute Geklimper des Geschirrs (nahe der Theke) usw.: das macht aggressiv und man muss sich anschreien, wenn man sich unterhalten möchte. Hektische und chaotische Bedienung: wir wurden 2x umgesetzt (wir hatten reserviert). Dann wurde der Tisch nur oberflächlich gewischt, "nachdem" wir uns bereits gesetzt haben. Auch allgemein war die Bedienung unfreundlich und wollte uns irgendwann auch wieder loswerden, weil eine neue Gruppe warten würde. Sprich: wir sollen dort nur essen und dann gleich wieder raus. Dabei haben wir selbst mind. 20 min. über die vereinbarte Uhrzeit hinaus draußen warten müssen. Ich war bis jetzt 2x dort...aber nur, weil ich eingeladen wurde. Bei ersten Mal war alles anders: das Essen war besser, die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Es gab keinen Höllenkrach vom Tresen. Wahrscheinlich hat die GF gewechselt. Es waren auch allgemein ganz unbekannte Gesichter, dort. Wer gerne für schlechte Qualität und schlechten Service viel Geld zahlen möchte und zudem ohnehin schlecht hört, der ist dort gewiss goldrichtig.

Das Essen und der Service war sehr gut. Nettes Personal. Schönes Lokal mit Biergarten. Nur die Parkmöglichkeiten sind etwas beschränkt.

Un restaurant rustique dans un cadre chaleureux et des assiettes généreuses. Une carte très variée plus une carte spéciale pour l'oie, de saison en décembre. Possibilité de prendre de petites portions façon tapas. Ici, tout est fait pour flatter la panse et on ne fait pas dans la demi mesure. Mais après tout, nous sommes venus pour cela. Un très bon Sauerbraten, une cuise d'oie tendre et moelleuse, de la bonne bière, un Kaiserschmarrn en dessert, pour finir avec un bon schnaps. Soirée typique et parfaite. Merci à la cuisine et au service rapide, malgré le monde. Un endroit à recommander.

Wir hatten für den 2. Weihnachtstag reserviert, aber leider hatte man uns nicht mitgeteilt, dass das Zeitfenster pro Reservierung nur 2 Stunden beträgt, was, gerade an Weihnachten, doch sehr kurz ist. Als wir nach Espresso gefragt wurden und zusätzlich noch nach Dessert gefragt haben, wurden schon die Augenbrauen hochgezogen. Wir haben dann noch Getränke nachbestellt, aber kurz nachdem diese gebracht wurden, hat uns die freundliche Bedienung mitgeteilt, dass sie dann gerne kassieren würde, da gleich die nächsten Gäste kommen. Es war ihr sichtlich unangenehm. Wir mussten dann überstürzt aufbrechen und die nachbestellten Getränke hätten wir uns auch sparen können, da keine Zeit mehr war sie noch zu trinken. Wenn man schon so kurze Zeitfenster hat, dann sollte man das den Gästen auch unbed. vorher mitteilen. Wir hätten dann woanders reserviert. Das Essen und die Auswahl war aber durchaus gut.

Tolle Küche, super Service, angemessene Preise. Wir waren eingeladen und wirklich begeistert. Von der Vorspeise über das Hauptgericht bis zum Nachtisch alles perfekt und seeeehr lecker. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder und können das Wirtshaus zum Neckartal mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. 👍👍

Die Teller waren schön angerichtet. Das Essen war geschmacklich einwandfrei. Der Service war ausgezeichnet.

Eine schöne Lokalität. Der Service war klasse und die Bedienung hat auch Spaß gemacht. Es war sehr lustig mit ihr. Das Essen war super angerichtet und ein Genuss. Ich empfehle es weiter hier mal essen zu gehen. Wir haben hier in größerer Runde viel Spaß gehabt. Auch die Dekoration ist nicht zu viel sondern genau richtig. Ich bin eh der Meinung das manchmal weniger mehr ist.

Wir waren mit der Familie zum Essen dort. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Bedinung im " perdu" Modus war sehr souverän.

Leckeres Essen, sehr freundliche Bedienung und gemütliches Ambiente. Sonntagabend war nur viel los, so dass jeder Tisch besetzt war und es entsprechend laut war. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Lokal war voll, die Bedienungen tun was sie können, jedoch kann man damit die Fehler der Küche nicht retten. Das Preisniveau ist hoch, die Speisen nur mittelmäßig. Es dauerte alles sehr lange, wir hatten die Geduld, jedoch scheint unser Essen ziemlich lang an der Küchenausgabe gestanden zu haben, es war kalt, an manchen Stellen minimal warm. Die Bedienung reagierte sehr gut und kurz darauf kam es wieder, warm wie es sein soll. Die Preise und das was auf dem Teller liegt, passen aber nicht zusammen, hier ist viel Metro-Convenience im Einsatz, wer dann noch zu faul zum würzen/verfeinern ist, braucht sich über die vielen Kommentare hier nicht zu wundern. Ich glaube, das braucht man so nicht für das Geld. Die Zukunft bleibt fraglich. Wir werden nicht nochmal dort hingehen.

Auch wenn man nur was trinken möchte, wird man freundlich bedient. Danke an das Team. Heute war ich sehr gut Mittagessen, Service war sehr freundlich. Komme gerne hier her.
