Our son Christian invited us to the inn for his 30th birthday. Since we weren't familiar with it at all, we were a bit skeptical at first. But we were pleasantly surprised. There were 14 of us. The service was super friendly and patient. The drinks and food were delivered promptly. And what can I say, it was so incredibly delicious. We were all thrilled. They served venison goulash, ham hock, gnocchi, cheese patties, and many other delicacies. At the end, some of us nibbled on the Mouse a Chocolat and Kaiserschmarrn. We highly recommend this restaurant. We'll definitely be back 🙏🌹

Very friendly and attentive service, and the food was delicious. A balmy late summer evening on the terrace made the evening perfect.

The food was good, but you had to use a magnifying glass to find the shrimp in the noodles. There were only three of them, but they tasted good. The food and drinks were a bit too expensive considering the price/performance ratio.

Beautiful beer garden with huge, old trees. Unfortunately, I only had a drink, but the daily menu was very readable. Of the three waiters (!), only the youngest was working hard! Therefore, the service was only just OK. The prices are on the high side; my shandy, with no alcohol, cost €6.50.

Our reserved table was ready, and because the summer sun was shining quite intensely from the sky, we decided to take a different, slightly shaded table. This was accepted without fuss. Our server was a young lady who had only been working there for a very short time. She anticipated our every need, and I can say that I have rarely experienced such dedicated, attentive, and friendly service. The excellent food (sometimes with special requests) and the consistently cool drinks always arrived at the right time. We were all delighted and would gladly return.

It's quite nice, but a bit too expensive in my opinion. The food was good, but I thought it was a shame that we couldn't eat together because one of the dishes arrived late. The service was very nice and apologetic.

Hello everyone, very nicely located restaurant with a great beer garden. Everything is a bit cramped. The staff wasn't very friendly during our visit. Free parking is available. Prices are quite expensive.

As with our last visits, everything was great! The selection is fantastic, and we also love coming here with our guests from abroad – the German tapas are very popular and word has spread ;-) The only downside is that the prices have been quite steep... :-(

We were there yesterday. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food. One star deducted for a cold crème brûlée. It was very tasty, but unfortunately it was cold. We'll be back anyway, hopefully when the weather is nicer so we can sit in the beer garden.

Tolle, inspirierte deutsche Küche. Der große Salat mit sautierten Pfifferlingen war schon ein Gedicht - abgerundet wurde der Genuss durch die Möglichkeit, badische "Tapas" zu kombinieren. Phantasievoll und sehr lecker! Der Biergarten ist eine Oase nur einen guten Kilometer entfernt vom Flughafen Mannheim (und der sechsspurigen Schnellstraße).

High-quality food (but two euros more expensive than elsewhere), a wonderful beer garden, attentive service, and a bartender with good (in my opinion 😉) taste in music (Alan Parsons). What more could you want?

Wir waren im Winter letzten Jahren hier das erste Mal essen. Gemütlich, gepflegtes Ambiente mit aufmerksamem und freundlichem Personal. Das Essen war in gehobener Preisklasse, dafür regional und qualitativ sehr gut, fürs Auge schön angerichtet und in der heutigen Zeit schön noch zu erleben: von einem "echten" gelernten Koch, der die Speisen mit Liebe zubereitet. Was man schmecken konnte. :-) Aus gegebenem Anlass haben wir mehrere Wochen im Voraus einen schön gedeckten Tisch im Restaurant für Muttertag reserviert und fragten auch im Vorfeld an, ob es zu diesem Tag ein "Muttertags-Spezial" geben wird, was auch bestätigt wurde. Schon bei der Ankunft um 17.00 Uhr war es das reinste Chaos. Es rannten einige, sehr junge Aushilfen, planlos und gestresst im Biergarten wild umher (obwohl kaum Gäste da waren), wurden dann nach einer Weile gefragt, ob wir "reserviert hätten", was wir bejahten worauf der junge Mann antwortete, wir sollen uns doch "gerade einen Platz im Biergarten selbst aussuchen". Wir mussten dann mit Entsetzen feststellen, dass das eigentliche schöne Restaurant nicht "empfangsbereit" und quasi geschlossen ist, weshalb wir nur im Biergarten einen Platz erhalten können (trotz Reservierung im Restaurant und einer Bestätigungsmail). Horrende Preise für einen Biergarten mit stark abgenutzten Holztischen und Stühlen die nicht zum "Willkommen" einladen. Zudem zog uns ein unangenehmer Geruch von altem Fritteusen-Öl wie aus der Imbissbude in die Nase, worauf wir hungrig umgehend wieder gegangen sind. Das war unser UNschönes Muttertags-SPEZIAL-Erlebnis, das wir dort so nicht erwartet hätten und uns in den nächsten Jahren negative Gedanken hinterlässt. :-(

Great atmosphere in the beer garden, the best service I have experienced in recent years

Food was really good! Their tagliatelle with prawns was so tasty. Nice to sit outside when the weather is nice and a big tree provides shade and coolness.

The prices are a bit high, but I get regional ingredients. The tapas are a bit different... and very, very tasty! The service is simply fantastic. We always enjoy coming back.

Nice atmosphere with a beer garden. I've been there several times. The food is of average quality, so it's reasonable for the price. The selection is also extensive. However, the wait time is regularly unusually long. There must be a staffing problem. I've noticed it a few times. So it's best to bring plenty of time, or just get lucky.

The beer garden is a lovely place to sit under tall trees and enjoy the shade. Our service was very friendly and patient. It took us a while to decide on a meal because we really liked the selection. The food was fresh and the quality of the ingredients was top-notch. We had a very pleasant evening. The drinks are too expensive in my opinion. I don't know if a small cappuccino is really worth €5.70.

Yes, I can really recommend this restaurant. The food I ordered arrived very quickly, and the service was very friendly. I'd love to come back, as the bike ride along the Neckar River was very informative in the beautiful weather.

As mentioned many times before, the price/performance ratio is disproportionate. The food is mediocre and the prices are far too high. We certainly won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Swiss prices. Tapas-sized portions for the price you'd pay for a regular-sized portion in many other restaurants. The spaetzle are okay, but not particularly good.

We celebrated our baby's baptism here. Tables were reserved by phone. Everything was beautifully set up for us with a white tablecloth and small decorations. The staff was very friendly. Everything was brought quickly, and the food was delicious, so much so that we didn't have room for dessert :) Many thanks to the restaurant 👍🏼

A nice restaurant in itself. What we didn't like, however, was that we reserved a table – so you expect a clean and neatly set table. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. The table lamp was dirty, and so was the table. I then simply wiped it with my disinfectant wipe... I was shocked at how dirty the wipe got. The menu was also dirty and worn. For such high prices, I expect appropriate cleanliness. I'm a trained hotel manager myself and know what's important. And checking menus daily or wiping down surfaces and objects should be part of it. As for the meal itself... my husband's soup was very good, my asparagus soup was too thick and only slightly warm. His steak was also good, and so was my asparagus. I was only disappointed with the hollandaise... now I know why it said "frothy"... in the end, it was just air, and as soon as it touched the asparagus, there was nothing left... a shame, because it's simply part of the experience. The dessert was delicious. What was particularly outstanding was the service...very attentive and polite. So if they improve the cleanliness a bit, we'd be happy to come back.

Very nice beer garden, great atmosphere. Although it was quite busy, the service was good. The menu is a pleasant departure from the average beer garden, and the food was very good. One star deducted for the rather high prices, especially for drinks; overall, I would rate the restaurant as expensive.

Very good Viennese style veal schnitzel.

In our opinion, the food was seasoned rather too lightly and therefore a bit tasteless, even if the ingredients were of good quality. We had a sausage salad that was unfortunately very watery, and the rack of lamb was also seasoned too cautiously for our taste.

Food was very, very good. The atmosphere was terrific. Simply a great inn with a great menu. Some classics interpreted in a modern way. But exactly by eye. Oh, that was really great. The service could have been more personable and attentive. But everyone was very friendly.

There is a beer garden right on the street, roundabout. It's relatively quiet! The potato soup was unbeatable! But cheap is different! The other dishes are similar to the brewery. Service very nice and friendly! You can go here!!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Wirtshaus und haben im Biergarten zuvorkommenden, schnellen Service und tolles Essen genossen. Die vielen Kritiken zum Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Die Zeiten, in denen für 15 Euro tellergroße Schnitzel serviert wurden, sind nunmal vorbei. Auch Gastronomien sind Wirtschaftsunternehmen und können die gestiegenen Kosten (Personal, Lebensmittel, Energie) nicht selber tragen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nice atmosphere and delicious food :)

We were there for lunch and got a seat. The restaurant was well attended and the sound level was completely normal. You could have a good conversation. The food for my wife and daughter was plentiful. I had cheese spaetzle in a small terrine with mixed salad that only had a few drops of dressing on it and was therefore extremely dry. My wife's fillet was more like pink and therefore tough. All in all not that satisfactory. The service was friendly and very attentive.

Good German cuisine. Very high quality ingredients, however the fried Brussels sprouts were not my cup of tea but everything else was very tasty. Definitely coming back.

We decided to come here (concert in the SAP Arena) at very short notice and because of the great reviews we tried our luck. The veal schnitzel with fried potatoes was outstanding and since we were pressed for time, the very courteous male waitress served us very quickly. Gladly again sometime with more time 🙃

We've been here twice now in a very short space of time. The food is very tasty and the staff is super nice. The prices are reasonable but the quality is also good. The portions could be a bit larger for some dishes. The mousse au chocolate is an absolute dream. Unfortunately, some tables are a little narrow, so a point is deducted for the ambience. We're excited to see what it's like to sit in the beer garden in summer.

Always delicious. Quality-oriented pub cuisine with a twist and regional products. Seasonally changing menu, good portions. All of this with friendly service in a well-kept, pleasant atmosphere.

Good inexpensive lunch, drinks a bit expensive

There is actually a lot of potential here. Ambience and service friendly. Unfortunately, the food wasn't what we expected. The spinach dumplings are drowned in the mushroom sauce. It's a shame because the dumplings tasted good.

Good restaurant with German cuisine and delicious food. The selection of vegetarian dishes could be significantly improved. It quickly becomes very loud inside and it becomes difficult to understand people at your own table. As soon as it is warm outside, the outdoor area/beer garden is very nice to sit and enjoy the sun. Delicious food, great ambience and great service. We were there last night and were really impressed. My wife had a cod fillet on beetroot risotto and I had a veal schnitzel. The food came quickly, the service was very attentive and the portions and taste were great. I was recommended a pilsner from the region and my wife chose a Weisburgunder from the Palatinate. We'd love to come back!

Cozy restaurant with lots of atmosphere inside and out. The dishes are regionally influenced. We recommend the roast goose with dumplings and red cabbage.
