A great restaurant with good, traditional food.

A very warm welcome and a super friendly team. The schnitzel and noodle dish were absolutely delicious! Only the homemade apple strudel didn't quite live up to our expectations; unfortunately, it was too soft, and we prefer it crispier. But all in all, we had a lovely evening.

We had a fantastic and delicious evening at the Wirtshaus Uhland. We arrived without a reservation on a Saturday evening and were lucky to arrive at 5:15 PM, as the place quickly filled up. A super rustic atmosphere, extremely friendly and attentive service, and truly delicious food at fair prices. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.

Truly delicious home-cooked food. We were there with a group of 40 people. Huge selection, and all the dishes were excellent. The private room was also perfect, as we were alone in the same room. The staff were on the ball and served us incredibly quickly. Mr. Martin was very professional and flexible in organizing everything. I can only recommend him.

We discovered Uhland by chance and have been there twice now. We were truly impressed by the food and the friendliness of the people who served us there. The dishes are so interesting and specially seasoned that it's a delight. And even on Schnitzel Wednesday, they're served so quickly. Highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

The Uhland Wirtshaus can rightly be described as a “tavern”. Fast, very friendly service, the food is home-style and delicious. The three of us had dinner on Good Friday: Schwabentopf, Viennese-style schnitzel and Käsespätzle with bacon and mushrooms. Everyone was happy and full. On Saturday I realized that I must have left my wallet there. On Saturday at 5:00 p.m. there was a big relief: my wallet was there with all the papers and money. At this point, many thanks again to the honest finder.

Super tasty schnitzel with fried potatoes. The portion was decent and fills you up well. There is also a very cozy, rustic “regulars’ table atmosphere” where you can sit down and have a drink together. Also friendly service, great!

A very cozy restaurant with excellent food. As far as I can tell, they actually cook their own food here, rather than just throwing frozen food into the fryer, as is unfortunately becoming more and more common. The Wiener Schnitzel (€18.90) I had was definitely delicious. The menu is, as expected, very meat-heavy, but there are also a handful of vegetarian and vegan dishes, so vegans and vegetarians aren't limited to salads. The prices are reasonable for what's on offer; you'll pay around €25 per person.

I was truly surprised; the food and service were very good. The portions were very generous. The ambiance was rustic, but the old wooden chairs were very hard and had only thin cushions. I just placed several cushions on top of each other.

Ungewöhnlich junges, EXTREM freundlich und sympathisches wie auch noch originelles Team! Und das, obwohl ich mit einer guten Freundin, nach einer Ausstellung in der Feuerwache, erst auf den letzten Drücker zum Schnitzelessen vorbei kam. Schon der Empfang war wie aus dem Bilderbuch! Und dann haben wir auch noch diese köstlichen Schnitzel mit zwei ganz hervorragenden Soßen gereicht bekommen! Es ist mir unbegreiflich, warum ich nicht schon immer hier essen war. Wirklich toll! Nice down-to-earth restaurant with good German cuisine, classic furnishings in the front area, the side room leaves a lot to be desired, and is very functional and simply furnished. The food portions are generous and tasty, and the staff is friendly. See you next time.

We were there for the first time last Wednesday with our dog and felt completely at home in this cozy, rustic atmosphere. The food is excellent, super nice staff including the boss. Unfriendly reaction when we asked for a table just for two. Even made a reservation. You don't feel welcome and then you leave. If you can't make the reservation, there's probably no need to at least remain friendly.

The back room was reserved for a private meeting with a larger group. We felt like we were in great hands, all the guests were happy, the food was wonderful and the service was very attentive. Thanks for the great hospitality!

The food is really quite ok, good average. Mostly German cuisine. The service was unusually slow, so I wanted to leave before ordering. Unfortunately I had to wait a good 1/2 hour for my own food, even though I had only ordered a soup and 1 pilsner. The service was clearly trying to get the job done, but there was simply a lack of staff as almost all the seats were occupied. Furnishings are old-fashioned and worn out.

I've been coming to Uhland regularly (about every two weeks) with a good friend for several years. We are completely satisfied. The atmosphere is rustic and the service is perfect. The waitresses, who have been employees for many years, now know us personally - which also speaks for the house. The kitchen delivers unerringly and offers a changing menu with a seasonal program (at Easter, in autumn, etc.). The selection of dishes is varied. I like that you can eat hearty food and at the same time be sure of the quality. In other words: simply clever cuisine, hearty but not crude. For example, care is always taken to ensure that a meat dish with a filling side dish is also accompanied by a vegetable or a salad. In my opinion, that's how it should be! We will continue to be guests at Uhland.

Essen super lecker geschmeckt. Sehr wohl gefühlt, klare Empfehlung. Unkompliziert, gastfreundlich, lecker gekocht und reichhaltig.

Das Uhland war ja schon immer ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen, ein Lokal mit sehr viel Charme. Perfekt um einen wunderschönen Abend zu verbringen. Leckeres Essen, tolles Team, urige Atmosphäre. Neuerdings kann man auch noch mit Karte zahlen - perfekt!

Das Uhland ein Urgestein der Mannheimer Gastronomie von der Uhlandstr. in die Lange-Rötterstr. gezogen, ist immer noch zu empfehlen. Die Preise sind zwar angezogen und Getränke finde ich etwas überteuert, dennoch stimmt der Service. Es ist dringend am Wochenende eine telefonische Reservierung zu empfehlen. Da es gut besucht ist. Es gibt leider keine Pommes 🍟 daran sollte man arbeiten. Das Ambiente könnte noch etwas aufgehübscht werden. Und der Servie an Tagen wo es voll ist, um weitere Personen verstärkt werden. Essen ist immer 😋 lecker. Schnitzeltag kann ich nicht empfehlen.

Minuten später standen an 2. Tischen neben uns 2. Große kalte Flaschen Wasser auf den Tischen???? Dementsprechend fiel auch das Trinkgeld später aus. Auf Nachfrage der Bedienung nach dem Essen ob alles soweit in Ordnung gewesen wäre sagte meine Frau, das die Nudeln nur lauwarm waren.Antwort: Ich gebe es der Küche weiter.

Brutal lecker, top Preise und sehr freundliche Bedienung

Ich kann es wirklich empfehlen! Wir waren gestern vor einer Veranstaltung im Capitol dort essen. Es gibt gut bürgerliche Küche, humane Preise und vor allem einen sehr freundlichen Service. Reservierungen sind zu empfehlen, insbesondere wenn man im Innenhof sitzen möchte. Preis - Leistungsverhältnis ist definitiv gegeben. Danke euch für den schönen Abend! :)

Schönes uriges Restaurant. Gut bürgerliche Küche zu fairen Preisen. Tolle Saison ( Spargelkarte). Wir waren vor eine Veranstaltung im Capitol hier und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen ging sehr schnell und die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich 😊

Absolutes Träumchen! Nettes Personal, vor allem hinter der Theke. Essen totale Bank, immer absolut stark. Getränke schmecken ebenfalls. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Eine Institution in der Neckarstadt - superleckeres Essen, ebenso supernettes Servicepersonal! Preise von mittel bis gehoben (man bekommt aber reichhaltige Portionen für's Geld!) - bei normal geschnürtem Geldbeutel nix für jede Woche, aber ein Quartalsessen ist drin, und das ist rundum klasse!

Urgemütliches Wirtshaus mit sehr guter Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl hier. Die Portionen sind der Hammer, hier wird jeder satt, schade das es so etwas nicht bei uns in Schleswig-Holstein gibt. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Mannheim sind 100% tig wieder hier. Schade das man 5 Sterne vergeben kann.

Ziemlich verwinkelten Restaurant mit extrem kleiner vegetarischen Karte. Laut meinem Partner sind die Gerichte mit Fleisch gut. Nur über eine Treppe zu begehen und Parkplätze sind schwer zu finden.

Tolles Schnitzel mit super leckerem Kartoffelsalat.

Sehr urige und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Essen war köstlich und die Portionen mehr als fair. Der Service war äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Allgemein kann ich es wärmstens empfehlen.
