Wirtshaus Schalander in Aulendorf

Da ich unweit geschäftlich zu tun habe, bin ich zum Abendessen dort gewesen. Bei dem schönen Wetter bin ich im Biergarten gesessen. Die geschmelzten Maultaschen mit Kartoffelsalat waren ein Gaumenschmaus. Das Hefeweizen war auch sehr schmackhaft. Service ist sehr freundlich. Werde auf jeden Fall noch einmal vorbei kommen.

Super leckere Burger! Die Pommes waren wohl die besten die ich die letzten 2 Jahre bekommen hab. Wer dünne knusprige mag ist hier genau richtig! Die Portionsgrösse ist mehr als ausreichend um wirklich satt zu werden ! Wir hatten nicht reserviert und zum Glück noch ein Platz bekommen. Die Bedienungen sind sehr aufmerksam und die Getränke und das Essen kommt recht schnell! Wir kommen wieder

Spontan mit einem Soßen Kollegen noch was snacken und ein Bier trinken wollen..., leider war zu der Zeit (21:30) die warme Küche bereits geschlossen was völlig verständlich ist, uns wurde jedoch noch Wurstsalat Angeboten. Dieser war einer der Besten Wurstsalate meines Lebens, dazu das selbst gebaute naturtrübe Kellerbier - ein Traum. Die sympathische Bedienung verriet uns dann sogar ein Geheimnis bezüglich des herausragenden Dressings des Wurstsalat - unbezahlbar - danke dafür und Danke für die lecker Gastfreundschaft. Für zu Hause wurde selbstverständlich auch noch Bier mitgenommen....so macht spontan Einkehren Freude...wir kommen sicher bald wieder.

Des hat a Gschmäggle. Eigentlich nett hier gewesen. Ich hab beim Mittagstisch Pommes gegen Spätzle getauscht und bei der Abrechnung 2€ zusätzlich bezahlt. Muss man das so machen, auf der Karte waren die Gerichte entweder mit Pommes oder mit Spätzle, die Tüten waren also beide offen, ich sehe den Mehraufwand nicht, informiert worden bin ich auch nicht, steht wohl in der Karte. Danke! Aber die Auswahl an Restaurants in Aulendorf ist zum Glück relativ gut. Geht nicht um die 2€, geht um die Geste, das Trinkgeld war aber willkommen. 👌🏻

Super leckerer und günstiger Mittagstisch. Viele Gerichte zum Mittag für nur 9.99€. Die Portinen sind trotzdem ausreichend und wir sind locker satt geworden. Das Bier schmeckt nathürlich auch! Bei gutem Wetter gibt es auch einen schönen Biergarten.

Wir hatten heute ein Geburtstagsessen dort und alle waren sehr zufrieden. Essen sehr gut, Service klasse. Das hat gepasst.

Das Bier ist nicht so ganz mein Geschmack, aber ist eben Geschmackssache. Die Essensportionen sind üppig und die Pommes sehr lecker. Zudem ist es wirklich schön, im Biergarten zu sitzen. Die Bedienungen sind zum Teil nicht besonders aufmerksam.

Tolles rustikales Lokal,toller Service.

I war vor Kurzem in dem Lokal, und i muss scho saga: Des Ambiente isch richtig schee, gmiatlich und lädt zum Bleibe ei. D’Speisa send im Großen und Ganzen ordentlich zubereitet g’wesa, aber beim Cheeseburger hots mit dr Soß übertriebe. Die isch so rausg’quolla, dass ma nachher die ganze Händ nass g’habt hot – des war halt a bissle viel. D’Käsespätzle send essbar, aber hättet ma no a bissle feiner machen kenna. Der Salat war mit dr Soß jetzt au net grad s’Gelbe vom Ei. Des Schnitzel, ehrlich g’sagt, hot gschmeckt wie Schuhsohle – da hätt ma sich scho mehr erwartet. Und die Spezi war leider total lahm, net frisch oder prickelnd, wie’s sollt sei. Dafür war des Pulled Beef echt supper, des hot richtig gschmeckt und war perfekt zubereitet. Auf dr Toilette hot’s g’stunka, des zieht halt stark ab. Dr Service hot sei Sach gmacht, aber a bissle mehr Freundlichkeit hätt it g’schadet. Positiv bleibt: Dr Chef vom Haus war selber do und ma hot ihn g’seha, und dass er sogar bei dr Serie „Tschappel“ mitg’spielt hot, des war a nette Gschicht. Unterm Strich: Scheens Lokal mit Potenzial, aber beim Essen, bei dr Spezi, Service und Sauberkeit hätt i no Luft nach oba gsehn.

Ich wollte es für mich behalten… Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Bodenständig, ehrlich, schmackhaft, schwäbisch! Hier wird man nicht enttäuscht. Ich freue mich auf den Sommer, wenn man draußen sitzen kann.

War ein toller Abend beim Metality Chaptertreffen im Bürgermeister-Zimmer. Das Essen und der Service gaben keinen Grund für Beanstandungen, lecker gegessen und sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient worden. Gerne jederzeit wieder, da das Ambiente sehr einladend war, und alle sehr zufrieden waren.

Sehr schönes Brauhaus, hier kann man verweilen, schade das Schnitzel war sehr fettig, der Beilagensalat seine 5,90 Euro nicht wert, zuwenig und Dressing naja aber alles andere super lohnt sich.

Online-Reservierung unkompliziert möglich und empfehlenswert, Essen kam auch bei vollem Haus recht schnell, freundlicher Empfang und Service, Preis stimmt - recht große Portionen, leckere Speisen, schönes Ambiente

Eine sehr schöne Gaststätte mit super freundlichem Personal. Leider war das Essen nicht wirklich gut. Die Käsespätzle waren wirklich unterirdisch sowas im Schwabenland anzubieten geht wirklich nicht. Röstzwiebeln aus der Dose. Die Soße vom Salat sehr dünn denke eine Fertig Soße der Kartoffelsalat fertig gekauft hat leider nicht geschmeckt. Alles in allem viel Luft nach oben…. Preise sehr fair.

Schlossbrauerei Aulendorf – Ein Muss für Bierfans mit mini Abstrichen in der Küche; Das Bier: Als Neugieriger kam ich am lokalen Bier nicht vorbei und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Das Bier ist süffig und handwerklich top. Ein echtes Highlight war die Brauereibesichtigung. Die Führung war extrem engagiert, persönlich und man bekommt einen tiefen Einblick in die Kunst des Brauens. Wer hier ist, sollte das definitiv mitmachen! Kulinarik: Hier war die Erfahrung leider etwas wechselhaft. Während manche Gerichte solide Brauhauskost waren, schwankte die Qualität bei anderen Besuchen. Es ist „gute Hausmannskost“, aber man muss ein wenig Glück mit der Tagesform der Küche haben. Service & Ambiente: Das Ambiente ist urig, wie man es von einer Schlossbrauerei erwartet. Der Service ist „echt“ – also manchmal typisch direkt und auch mal etwas ruppig, was die Gemütlichkeit phasenweise etwas gedämpft hat. Insgesamt aber absolut okay für ein belebtes Brauhaus. Fazit: Wegen des Bieres und der Führung komme ich jederzeit wieder. Beim Essen ist noch etwas Luft nach oben für die Beständigkeit

Leckere große Portionen und viel gute selbstgebraute Biere

Urige Gaststätte mit tollem Ambiente in einem hystorischem Gebäude. Wir waren spontan und ohne Reservierung zum Essen dort. Da wir nicht reserviert haben und alle Tische belegt waren, gab sich die sehr sympathische Servicekraft alle Mühe uns an einem belegten Tisch dazu zu platzieren. So teilten wir uns den Tisch mit einem sehr netten Paar. Vielen Dank nochmal an die nette Kellnerin für ihre Bemühungen . Das Essen war lecker und wurde auch sehr schön angerichtet. Preise waren mehr als in Ordnung, z.B. Ente mit Klößen und Blaukraut für 19.90€ mehr als okay.

War gestern Abend Beim Essen habe ich noch nie so einen schlechten Salat gegessen! Unten, garniert mit Dosen, Gemüse und oben eine große Blatt drauf! Zudem war es auch noch kalt ! Das Personal war aber sehr freundlich

Das Ambiente im Lokal ist ansprechend, allerdings war die Lautstärke während unseres Besuchs recht hoch, was die Atmosphäre etwas beeinträchtigt hat. Die Speisekarte vor Ort war eher klein, leider gab es keinen Hinweis auf der Website hierzu. Der Service war freundlich und bemüht. Die Speisen waren insgesamt in Ordnung, jedoch konnten Sonderwünsche – wie etwa das Umbestellen der Beilage auf Pommes – leider nicht berücksichtigt werden. Insgesamt ein ordentlicher Eindruck mit positivem Ambiente, aber noch etwas Luft nach oben bei Auswahl und Flexibilität.

Eine wunderbare, lokale Brauerei mit einer sehr herzlichen Atmosphäre. Wir sind absolut begeistert! Ein großer Pluspunkt ist, dass sie ihr Bier selbst brauen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereiten. Die saisonalen Angebote sind besonders erfreulich: Im Sommer gibt es leichte, erfrischende Biere, im Winter hingegen ein kräftigeres und vollmundigeres „Winterbier“. Man schmeckt den Unterschied und die hohe Qualität des Bieres immer. Wer echtes lokales Brauen schätzt, sollte unbedingt hierherkommen. Köstlich, gemütlich und authentisch. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wer auf Convenience-Food steht, ist hier richtig. Warnung vor den Käsespätzle - sowas in Baden-Württemberg anzubieten, ist schon traurig... Vermutlich mit Analog-Käse gemacht oder mit geronnener Sahne oder so. Bedienung weiß nicht, ob im Apfelstrudel Rosinen sind. Nicht sehr kompetent. Leckeres Bier, viel Auswahl.

Wir waren letzten Montag zum Abendessen hier, das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und auf zack! Alle waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen, es war wunderbar! Es war alles sehr gut, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!!! Nur eines war nicht gut, im Gastraum war es zu kalt.

Eine Wartezeit von über einer Stunde kann man ja noch im Kauf nehmen, als mein bestellter pulled beef Bürger mit Pommes kam waren die Pommes schon kalt, und das Fleisch war nicht mal mehr lauwarm. Echt schade für den Preis. Aber immerhin hat der Geschmack überzeugt

Gut bürgerliches Essen und Tagesangebote.

Wir waren zu 11 bei der Brauereibesichtigung und anschließend im Restaurant beim Essen. Vielen Dank nochmal Flo für die perfekte Besichtigung. War echt bombastisch und auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Auch ans Team vom Restaurant ein großes Lob. Dass wir bei unserem ersten Besuch ohne Vorreservierung kurzfristig einen Platz bekommen haben und den ganzen Abend perfekt versorgt wurden, ist nicht selbstverständlich. Der zweite Abend war ebenso rundum gelungen. Auch hier nochmals vielen Dank ans Team und vielen Dank für den Glühwein. Grüße von unserem Haufen. Bis nächstes Jahr😉

We had schnitzel that was very basic; for those prices, we would have expected something better. We come from Franconia, where a brewery schnitzel is a highlight, filled, crispy, and pan-fried.

Another wonderful stay, delicious food, excellent value for money, child-friendly, everything thoughtfully arranged but not difficult, fine beer - great team - we'll be back!

If it weren't 700 km away, it would be my favorite pub. The beer is amazing. I don't recommend stopping; you have to stop for a bite to eat, definitely a beer! And then enjoy a short but refreshing stroll around the castle.

Very cozy and very friendly staff. I can recommend the beer tasting! I ended up sticking with the Flohbier though. The beer goulash was also great.

We went to Flo's place today after the confirmation. I only knew him from Tschapl, but he's a great guy in real life too. He readily agreed to pose for photos without any fuss. The food was amazing. The onion roast beef... incredible! My son even said, "Flo is totally cool." We'll be back, Flo. But only if my son and I get a part in the next season. 😂😂😂😂 Nah, we'll come back anyway. What Lea can do, I can do too: It's important for me to say that I can't comment much on the food or the atmosphere. But what I can say is: the Instagram posts are authentic, engaging, and well-done. It's great that they're still doing this in 2025. They play the part of a "Swabian" and use every regional stereotype imaginable. A place like this should be supported, and this kind of advertising should be uploaded right now. It's great humor and genuine. Keep it up. Nothing to apologize for.

A very nice, rustic pub. The beer is unfiltered, which you have to like... The food and service were excellent, and at very fair prices. My wife really appreciated that they also offered smaller portions. Unfortunately, Flo (the innkeeper from Tschappel) was busy with the theater, which is just another reason to go back.

Phew, how do I put this? The taste was absolutely fantastic. But the portion was ridiculously small. The cabbage roll fit on a single soup spoon. The price is completely off...

I thought it was absolutely fantastic there – the food was great, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. And I didn't notice anything racist, neither in the advertising nor in the restaurant. Anyone who says anything like that is talking complete rubbish. The beer was also excellent, almost forgot.

Nice, quaint restaurant. We were very satisfied with the service. The food was delicious and plenty to satisfy even the most cravings.

The service was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the Maultaschen (swabian dumplings) were so hard they were almost impossible to cut. After complaining, we were offered a free coffee – nicely meant, but I would have found it fairer not to have to pay for the meal. Overall, the meal was okay, but not a highlight.

Everything you'd expect from a brewery pub was there. The food was excellent, the beer delicious, and the service friendly. They regularly asked if everything was okay and brought new beer quickly. And at the end, there was a fantastic brewery tour – everything was very informal!

Schnitzel with fries, mayo, and ketchup. Mayo was only brought after I asked for it. Sausage salad with fresh bread. Bread was only served after I asked twice. I had imagined something different when it came to fresh bread, for example, fresh brown bread and not dry baguette slices. The second beer I ordered had to be reordered three times. The rating was without a receipt.

Went there today because of the lunch special that was being praised everywhere! My friend and I opted for the onion roast beef with spaetzle, which was a huge mistake! The onion roast beef was a piece of the leg and tough as leather. Of course, for the great price of 12.90 you can't expect a mega steak, but a piece of the leg that isn't even a rump steak?? I'm a butcher and can judge it. The piece weighed 100g at the most! As we all know, roast beef is a piece of the back, called roast beef or rump steak, but I've never seen such a puny piece of the leg anywhere else! Side dishes were okay! Service was friendly! We were both actually very disappointed! I'm a butcher and can tell a steak from a roast!! What a shame! Of course you can't expect anything else for that price, but at least it should be a small, tender steak and not such a tough something else! We'll try the other lunch dishes sometime soon and hopefully be reasonably satisfied! It's a shame, really. Nice place and friendly waiter, but still such a disappointment!

We were there two weeks ago and had a drink and a bite to eat in the evening to round off a warm day. The drink: a wine spritzer, wonderful. A beer, a great, not-so-ordinary beer. Highly recommended! The food: Maultaschen (raw ravioli) with braised onions, gravy, and potato salad. Everything was excellent and delicious. Highly recommended. Then a sausage salad with mountain cheese. The sausage salad was comparable to pre-sliced ​​discount store quality, and the mountain cheese was also discount store quality. So the ingredients were unsuitable for a restaurant. It just tasted of nothing. The marinade wouldn't win any awards either. And then there were three small slices of white bread. Here, black bread is part of the menu. So, the sausage salad was disappointing. Salt and pepper should definitely be served with the food. That wasn't the case. There's still plenty of room for improvement with the food. The beer garden location is wonderful and definitely recommended. We'll try it again in the coming weeks. Let's see what the kitchen and service say. We'll definitely get back to you with a new review. By the way, your TikTok posts are hilarious.

A very nice beer garden with delicious homemade beers. I liked the sausage salad, but the turkey salad was dry, tough, and clearly not enough meat. When my second beer order was forgotten, I was rather dissatisfied.

The restaurant is highly recommended; every lunchtime there is a good selection of daily specials for €9.90, plentiful and good, the large beer garden is very nice, and the staff are attentive and friendly.

As a guest at the thermal baths, it was very close through the park. Ate there twice and would gladly go back. Regional food and fair prices. The chicken, roast beef, and schnitzel were top-notch.

The atmosphere is very cool, the food is okay. The beer is terrible. I tried several varieties. They mainly serve regional beer, which the people here seem to really enjoy, but it's absolutely not for my taste and that of my companion. For comparison: Augustiner Helles, Schwabenbräu Helles, Alpiersbacher Spezial – absolutely top-notch beers. Here at the restaurant, they focus on Aulendorfer beer. Absolutely not recommended if you like one of the other brands. Tastes differ, as we all know, so I'm not recommending it here. As for the food: We ate there two days in a row. On the first day, a chicken burger + fries and half a chicken with fries. Brilliant. Super tasty, top-notch. Second day: asparagus + hollandaise sauce + potatoes and wild garlic bratwurst + potato salad. This time, it was a bit of a tough undertaking. The asparagus was OK, nothing special. The bratwurst was incredibly salty/spicy, and the potato salad was dressed with mustard, which made it even more salty and sour. So 3 stars for balanced cuisine.

It was our first time there - really great atmosphere (we sat in the beer garden) but unfortunately the staff were extremely understaffed. We waited 30 minutes for our first order - the table was full of old dishes. When we were finally allowed to order, we ordered our food at the same time. Drinks came after another 10 minutes, okay - but waiting 50 minutes for the food was completely unacceptable. The staff tried very hard but unfortunately they were completely let down by the management. At times you felt sorry for the staff, they tried hard but unfortunately lost with the number of guests. The manager shouldn't let his staff down like that - that's extremely unprofessional. The food was good, maybe a bit more seasoning, and please don't put ketchup in a small plastic bag on the schnitzel that costs over 18 euros - it somehow has the aftertaste of a snack bar. The beer was really good. Despite all the stress, the staff were very nice and apologized for the inconvenience. The staff are not to blame for this experience.

Unfriendly, incompetent, and definitely not going back. After ages, the waiter came to order drinks. A straw was ordered—of course, forgotten. After further inquiries, the menu arrived. 30 minutes later, we were allowed to order (after asking three times if someone could please come over). The information about the food was wrong—since I have intolerances, I simply had NOTHING to eat. All suggestions for alternatives were rejected. Chicken ONLY with fries—substituting it for fried potatoes isn't possible. Regular schnitzel isn't available as an adult portion. Great as a breastfeeding mother! A little leaf salad for 9 euros is almost outrageous. No tomatoes, potato salad, etc., but everything is available on the menu. Criticism is rudely downplayed... never again!!

We ordered food (3 dishes) to pick up, which was ready super quickly. But the pulled beef was missing cole slaw and truffle mayo, and the beef was drowned in a not really good sauce. Unfortunately, the fried potatoes are also swimming in oil. Schnitzel with fries was ok.

We were there in the evening. Salad plate with pike perch and cheese spaetzle with side salad. Salads were very good, fresh, varied, large portions. Wheat beer tasted strange and was easily swapped for light and Dorothea beer. Ambience was OK, very nice service. Prices still within range. 5 stars because of the delicious food

Service top! Ambience good, just a pub. Unfortunately, you can get better schnitzel with fries elsewhere. The seasoning of the meat as well as the breading and the fries needs to be better. Maybe switch to a spent grain breading.🤤

Everything is right here. The food was always very good [sausage salad, venison goulash, wild boar] and the portions were decent. You have to try all the beers. Not a mass taste, but individual types of beer with that certain something. I liked Heinrich the best.

We were at the town festival in Aulendorf. Since I like to eat regionally on vacation, the castle brewery was our first stop. The prices are quite reasonable at first, but then the plates are completely justified. The portions are not manageable, almost every table had the leftovers packed up. Highly recommended.
