Gasthaus Café Jagerhausle in Aulendorf

We were looking for a restaurant after our visit to the thermal baths and came across this great restaurant. We saw it had lots of good reviews and thought, let's give it a try. So we went there. The welcome was very friendly. They showed us the place and immediately brought the menu (only a small selection, but everything is freshly prepared in-house). Our daughter got her own little children's menu with a cute coloring picture on the back, and they also brought crayons. The little one could hardly wait to start coloring. We ordered two Wiener schnitzels with fries. They were incredibly delicious. The meat didn't have a single ounce of fat on it, and the schnitzel and fries were fried in fresh oil, which is unfortunately not the case at many restaurants. The portion was ample. You can choose your own salad as they have a salad buffet. The salads looked fresh and tasted delicious. I haven't had such a good salad in a long time. The potato salad is also highly recommended. The service was super friendly. We'd gladly make a long journey to eat there again... it's definitely worth it. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I had schnitzel with fries and salad, which was delicious! Unfortunately, there were a lot of rotten lettuce leaves in the buffet, and that's absolutely unacceptable! That's an absolute no-go, so I deducted two stars. Otherwise, it would have been five!

I was very happy to have made the trip to the Jägeräusle. We got a lovely spot for the two of us and the service was simply fantastic. I highly recommend the drive there from Bad Saulgau. We went to a family celebration in the restaurant for lunch followed by coffee and cake. The main reason we chose this location is the great salad buffet and the lovely side plates so far. The salad buffet is still very tasty. There is a great selection of salads and sauces. What could still be improved (but that's complaining at a very high level) would be to offer toppings (e.g. seeds and croutons). The main course (mixed roast) was good. Unfortunately the meat was very thinly sliced. But taste good. The sauce was too thin for my taste. Unfortunately, we are a bit disappointed with the vegetable side plates. These used to be really nicely prepared and divided into carrots/broccoli + almonds/cauliflower and bacon beans. This time there was simple imperial vegetables (mixed), which tasted no different than those from the frozen food shelves at our discounters and were served carelessly. However, the fries are very good. Ketchup was also available upon request. The ambience is very nice. You have a great view over the valley. However, we are disappointed with the service. The service is absolutely on point when it comes to refilling drinks. The food also came quickly. Now comes the big BUT: It was a very harsh tone. A family member's speech was interrupted twice with trivia: "You're only allowed to go to the salad bar once" and "Who's the vegetarian?" That doesn't work at all. In addition, we had to pay a senior plate price for the children for whom a “robber plate” was actually planned (1.5 and 3.5 years old) (15 EUR per child). And this despite the mother's advice that the little ones don't eat much... Unfortunately we found that very unfortunate and absolutely incomprehensible. We would have also paid 5 EUR for the robber plate. But 15 EUR really isn't possible. All in all, the restaurant is still good, but unfortunately no longer comparable to what it used to be.

We were here for the first time today after getting a tip from a friend. We were greeted very friendly and were able to choose a table. We had cream of turkey and paprika schnitzel. We were allowed to get our own side salad from the salad buffet. The "house dressing" is fantastic. The schnitzels were on point, the sauces were delicious, spaetzle as it should be. So everything was perfect, even as dessert the Coup Denmark was very tasty and plentiful. We were completely satisfied and full. The restaurant is rustic/cozy, makes you feel good, absolutely recommended We definitely weren't there for the last time

We come here regularly. Breaded schnitzels with fries, chicken or paprika schnitzel are the best in our area! The salad bar is unbeatable - everything is always fresh, clean and delicious! The service is very good and always friendly, you can also have a joke sometimes😃 There is also a terrace to sit outside and the peace and quiet is simply wonderful! It's best to book a table in advance, otherwise you might not get anything.

Were there in the afternoon and were really hungry. There was only the snack menu. The homemade platter was very plentiful and didn't count two slices of bread, but one. beautiful bread basket. It was also necessary, otherwise I wouldn't have made the whole sausage. I wanted another cake that looked delicious, but it just didn't fit anymore. Der beste und kinderfreundlichste Service den ich jeh erlebt habe. 3 Erwachsene 1 Kleinkind 2 Babys. Sehr kurzfristig. Zuvorkommend hilfsbereit einfach toller Service! Der Zwiebelrostbraten war perfekt Medium und wirklich unglaublich lecker. Ebenso wie das Paprika Schnitzel und das Wiener Schnitzel. Der Apfelkuchen wurde Ofenwarm serviert. Gut bürgerliche Küche tolles Ambiente sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir sind begeistert und werden sicher wiederkommen!

War sehr gut und lecker. Ich hatte einen Zwiebelrostbraten medium bestellt. Leider war das Steak zu durchgebraten. Allerdings als ich das bei der netten Bedienung monierte war ich trotzdem sehr angenehm überrascht. Anstandslos wurde mir auch umgehend ein neues Gericht zubereitet. Das war dann auch genau auf den Punkt, medium. Als kleines trösterlein gab es einen guten Obstler. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder. Danke

5+ ; super Lage! war zufällig mit dem Fahrrad schon 30 min vor den offiziellen Öffnungszeiten hier, trotzdem einen Cappuccino und eine super sympathische Bewirtung bekommen

Waren zum 2.mal Schnitzel Essen alles wunderbar geschmeckt.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Vesperplatte ist sehr empfehlenswert und für die Salatplatte mit Thunfisch (für den großen Salathunger) gibt es von mir einen absoluten👍. Schneller und sehr freundlicher Service. Wir fühlten uns als Gäste geschätzt und sehr wohl.

Waren nun schon mehrfach im Jägerhäusle und wurden bei keinem Aufenthalt enttäuscht. Das Essen ist gut, bürgerlich und lecker dank einer Salatbar kann sich jeder seinen Beilagensalat selbst kreieren. Wer es trotz der ordentlichen Portion noch schafft einen Kaffee und Kuchen zu ordern, hat an dem Tag alles richtig gemacht. Bei den Kuchen schmeckt man die Handarbeit. Wir werden auf jeden Fall hier wieder einkehren und unser Dutzend an besuchen bald voll haben.

Das Gasthaus liegt etwas außerhalb, das Ambiente wäre mein einziger Kritikpunkt das man da was modernisieren kann aber zu den Namen passt es wäre aber trotzdem wünschenswert. Zum Essen super Service der Jugend man hat sich sehr bemüht und hatte auch die richtige Kompetenz uns alle fragen zu beantworten. Der Zwiebelrostbraten war oft. Gebraten ich persönlich hatte Rinder Hüfte Steak da auch perfekt gebraten aber vor allem, dass das Stück so groß war. Kroketten waren top, wo ich noch was zu bemängeln hätte, wäre Gisela Theke aus. Diese könnte mal was die Vorjahres machen. Es war alles frisch, aber zum Beispiel Tomaten waren nicht da. Als Vegetarier oder Veganer hast du da schon Schwierigkeiten, weil da gab’s nur Pommes und Salat von der Theke, wo weder Oliven noch Tomaten, da waren. Im ganzen zu sagen trotz der leichten Kritik ist das Essen sehr lecker. Der Service top und wir hatten sehr gute Zeit. Danke für alles

Hatten ein ausgesprochen gutes Rinderhüftsteak mit Kroketten, einen sehr zarten Schweinebraten mit Spätzle und jeweils einen gemischten Salat vom Salat-Buffet. Alles hat fantastisch geschmeckt. Der Kartoffelsalat war ganz besonders schmackhaft. Preis-Leistung hervorragend Das Personal ist ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Wenn wir mal wieder in dieser Gegend sind, werden wir hier definitiv nochmal essen gehen.
