Superb breakfast, brunch buffet, and very tasty lunch; excellent service; highly recommended.

We went to the steak buffet. Simply wow. Great food. Lovely ambiance. And a great waitress. The price/performance ratio is more than reasonable, and we'll definitely try one of the other buffets.

It's actually really nice and family-friendly here. There's a very large playground, mini golf, small forest trails, animals, etc. Unfortunately, we were slightly deducted for not being allowed to change our child's diaper at the changing table. The restaurant was closed at the time, but the reception and restrooms were open. We regularly spend a lot of money here, and it's a shame and suddenly not so family-friendly when we're denied access to a changing table.

An ideal place to vacation with children. The only downside is that evening drinks aren't included, and the tap water isn't free either. Otherwise, everything is clean and the rooms are well-equipped, with a small kitchenette.

We were there for Sunday brunch. The food was actually okay. However, the service and the appreciation of the guests were abysmally poor. In the dining room (we were seated in the winter garden), it was unbearably hot. The staff forbade us from opening a window. The already unfriendly waiter literally told us that it didn't matter whether we felt comfortable while eating. He said if we didn't like it, we should sit outside on the terrace (mind you, it was raining and the outside temperature was 10 degrees Celsius). We got the impression that this scam is intentional, and that the heat and unpleasantly stuffy air are intended to discourage guests from eating less from the buffet. Unfortunately, this trick worked for us! No one can feel comfortable like that! At the buffet itself, the food is rarely refilled. Moreover, this only happens if you repeatedly point out the empty trays and displays to the staff and repeatedly ask for refills. The lunch food was cold from the start. Eggs are only available hard-boiled, which is very unfriendly to customers! The drink selection is generally decent, but the wheat beer tap was out of service during our visit. What a shame! All in all, we can't recommend this place to anyone!

Wonderful family hotel, very nicely equipped and furnished for children.

We stayed at Hofgut Tiergarten for three nights and were completely satisfied. The cleanliness and service were top-notch. The restaurant staff were super friendly and quick. But what we liked best was the food. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, and the quality and selection of the food is truly perfect. We can definitely recommend the hotel and especially the restaurant. We think there's room for improvement in the animal enclosure. The space is large enough to house a few more animals, which the children especially enjoy. The playroom above the restaurant could also use some updating. For example, there are holes in one of the doors where children could hurt themselves. Apart from that, 5 out of 5 stars.

We spent a week here. The location is perfect for exploring the area (Wackelwald, Ravensburger Spielland, Lake Constance); everything is very close and easily accessible. The food was really good, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Important to note (it wasn't a drawback for us!): - Check-out is at 9:30 a.m. - If you book an "arrangement," you have to pay for drinks/dessert separately. - There is no air conditioning (I can imagine it gets very warm in the room in midsummer). - Not every window has a fly screen (we had a plug-in to keep out mosquitoes). We had a great time, and I definitely recommend Hofgut Tiergarten.

I'll never go there again. It's a risk of injury for every child. The playrooms are hastily put together. There are sharp aluminum edges that stick out, which can cut you and tear your clothes. I reported it, but they didn't cordon off the area, didn't assess the hazards, and didn't even offer compensation. The upstairs play area is completely empty. Outside, the playground is filled with broken toys. The breakfast menu is far too expensive: €33 per person, and there's a queue for the restrooms because there aren't enough.

Highly recommended... We were completely satisfied... would love to come back.

Delicious breakfast and dinner with plenty of choice! We were there as house guests, and all drinks were included at breakfast (the only downside: the coffee wasn't to our taste), but not at dinner, which was a bit disconcerting regarding non-alcoholic drinks. Everything is very family-friendly, with plenty of play opportunities in and around the house. The rooms are modern and clean. Everything you need is there. We can easily imagine booking there again!

We come here for breakfast almost every school holiday. Great selection and good quality. My kids and I love it! Afterward, you can spend the rest of the day at the large playground with a trampoline, slides, a large sandpit, and in the summer, the water playground is active. Fantastic, always worth a trip for us!

This was our first time at the steak buffet. Our expectations were far exceeded. A truly fantastic selection of appetizers and antipasti (including true delights such as duck breast with pomegranate jus and tuna carpaccio), a very diverse selection of side dishes, sauces, and salads (which are constantly replenished), and a consistently freshly prepared meat selection. And whether it was fish, pork, lamb, poultry, or beef, everything was cooked to perfection. The service was very attentive and friendly. A truly recommended tip with excellent value for money.

I was "only" on the toilet, passing through on my bike...but the location is really beautiful, with lots of nature, peace and quiet, and with the zoo next door, it's great for children and therefore families.

Dear Hofgut Tiergarten Team, We felt very welcome during our vacation. The facility was very well maintained, and we had a lot of fun with the animals. The restaurant was beautifully designed and child-friendly. Having so much free time for us adults was very pleasant. The food in the morning and evening was impeccable and very delicious. We enjoyed the Saturday dinner best of all. It was the icing on the cake. The room was child-friendly and well-equipped. Every request was addressed and dealt with to our satisfaction. What struck me most was the friendliness of the staff. I personally felt very comfortable, and we had great conversations with them every time. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay.

We had the pleasure of staying at this magnificent farm, and I highly recommend it! Room: The apartment was spacious, very clean, and well-equipped. It offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Food: The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious, while the evening buffet with live grill was an absolute highlight. The selection was varied and the quality of the food was outstanding. Service: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Their commitment to ensuring guests had a pleasant stay was palpable and made our visit even more enjoyable. Recreational Opportunities: We particularly enjoyed the various animal enclosures, which also offered feeding opportunities. The large playground was also a hit and ensured my son had a great time. Conclusion: Overall, our stay at the family-friendly Hofgut Tiergarten was simply fantastic. It offers a perfect blend of comfort, good food, and recreational opportunities for the whole family. We will definitely be back! Special mention goes to Ms. Darinka Stahl, who, when we unfortunately had to leave a little early because my son was ill, even organized a packed lunch for us for the journey home!

The accommodation was quite old, and it showed; it was a bit run-down in places. There were no fly screens, even though there was a lake nearby, so airing the room was a bit difficult. One day, we were informed that workmen had been in our apartment—without informing us beforehand. The breakfast buffet was good, but very expensive. Otherwise, the complex was very nice for children, with a large playground and animals.

We highly recommend the Hofgut Tiergarten. The vacation apartment was very clean, modernly furnished, and child-friendly. The restaurant always had a rich, varied, high-quality buffet, both in the morning and in the evening. Drinks were reasonably priced. We booked full board, which made the meal a bit more affordable. There's plenty for children to discover: animals such as goats, chickens, rabbits, and fallow deer. Above the restaurant, there's a large play area with children's restrooms, and outside, there's a large playground with a water feature at the touch of a button. The location is quiet and quiet. (The passing train didn't bother us. The kids even found it exciting to watch the train go by.) All in all, we had a lovely vacation here.

Breakfast buffet for 25 euros per person. Has hyperinflation broken out where you live? What should I eat for breakfast? I can't eat more than two rolls, two eggs, a little sausage, and cheese, and that's it.

A bit off the beaten track, certainly great for families, I suspect it's also part of the thermal hotel in Aulendorf.

Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio isn't right here. The children's buffet is really not good. The buffet is always empty and takes a long time to refill. For the price, I expect drinks and dessert. The apartment was okay, but a few minor things were amiss from the start—a cold bedside lamp, a broken sink door, a sagging sofa... difficult...

The restaurant has a lovely children's area. The rooms are superbly equipped. The outdoor area has a large playground. There's a cocktail bar next door. There are a few animal enclosures. The train station is about a 20-minute walk away. The service staff is super friendly. The food was delicious. We highly recommend it.

We were there for Easter brunch. The service was good, the buffet was great. Overall we were very satisfied.

My friend Marlene Benz invited us and our family to brunch on Easter Monday and had specified 7 people when booking. But there were only 6 of us, the lady at the billing desk insisted that Mr. Benz had to pay for 7 people. This is really super rude and we wouldn't come here again and unfortunately we can't recommend the Tiergarten restaurant to anyone.

The stay here was simply great. Super nice, attentive and child-friendly staff! Dining rooms with play options, complete play area for the children. Great buffet, varied and something for everyone. Great rooms! Animals to feed and pet, playground is great, adventure golf is great... Highly recommended!

We stayed in the fisherman's house for a week over Easter, which is located right next to the deer enclosure and the pond. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. The staff is very friendly and committed, the food in the beautifully furnished Misch Werk is very tasty and the location with the deer as direct neighbors is unique. We felt extremely comfortable and will definitely come back again.

We went for Easter brunch. Unfortunately we sat on the train for a while. However, the reaction was immediate. The well-being of the guest is the top priority for everyone here.

A dream, great mini animal enclosure, great for young and old. Nice mini golf course! Great breakfast and themed evening buffet. Every cent is worth it. For overnight guests, tea and coffee are also available in the afternoon until 5 p.m. Absolutely lovely employees, everyone is very warm and nice 🥰

I was not there overnight. Instead, went with family and friends to the brunch on a Sunday. Although it is not a cheap offer, I believe it is worth the price. Good selection of food. The outside space is great for the kids, with playground and animals to pet. There is a mini-golf, but it was not open in early spring. I highly recommend the place for families with small kids. I would give a 4.5 stars evaluation. Service was really great, but I was desapointed that they refuse to give my kids a glass of water from the tap because it was 10 minutes past the end of the buffet time.

We spent two nights there. We chose the hotel because of our young daughter and were not disappointed. There were two great outdoor playgrounds. Animals to watch and feed, and some to pet. A large indoor playground with a ball pit and climbing opportunities. Dinner was a buffet and really good. The rooms were quite new and very well maintained. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. We will definitely be back.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the hotel itself. Since we are always only in the restaurant. Everything is clean and tidy from the outside. A large playground for the children. I can well imagine that a stay here is nice for families with children.

An absolutely recommended hotel, especially with children. We stayed in the “Family Suite” holiday apartment with half board. The apartment is very spacious, has a fully equipped kitchen, a very large bathroom with underfloor heating and towel heating (ideal for drying the kids' rain gear :)) There were fall protection, child toilet seats, cots, high chairs, a selection of pillows, etc. - an incredible number of little things that make life more pleasant. The breakfast buffet is super varied and offers an incredible selection of everything. From pancakes / waffles with various toppings and maple syrup to fresh fruit, various types of muesli, Kelloggs, to a wide range of milk substitutes, baked beans, eggs in all variations... Just like the daily changing evening buffet. I have a small point of criticism here. I think it's a shame that there isn't at least a small dessert or at least a scoop of ice cream on offer. And drinks are not included (I think it would be nice if at least table water was offered). The area around the hotel is an absolute paradise - especially for the kids. Two large playgrounds with a trampoline, deer, fallow deer, rabbits, chickens, geese, ducks - all of which can be fed by the kids (feeder €1). Unfortunately, a point is deducted here too, although the hotel probably can't do anything about it. There are two ponies at the back of the park. The electric fence didn't work, so the black pony bit my daughter in the stomach without warning and pulled her towards her. Since we have horses ourselves, our daughter knows to keep her distance. But the pony came rushing over the broken electric fence with its mouth open... I didn't see that coming either A warning sign, another pony or a functioning electric fence would be appropriate here. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times, and I would like to emphasize the boss's commitment. There is no such thing as an option. She is incredibly attentive and fulfills every wish. A big thank you at this point. We will definitely come back!!

Im Hotel/Restaurant Hof Gut Tiergarten in Aulendorf gibt es jeden Abend ein anderes Buffet. Eine große Auswahl an Antipasti, div. andere Vorspeisen werden angeboten und immer wieder nachgelegt, ebenso viele Beilagen und Hauptgerichte wie Rind- und Schweinefleisch, Hühnchen, Salate und das Dessert bestellt man zum Schluss beim Service. Dieser ist zuvorkommend und freundlich und räumt das Geschirr immer schnell ab. Es gibt einen separaten Bereich für Familien mit Kindern.

When we were invited to a party there was a really unpleasant incident. The hostess was given a very unpleasant look by the receptionist in the restaurant in front of her guests. Instead of taking the hostess aside and discussing this in private. All I care about here is that the sound makes the music! It was also unpleasant that we had to wait 15-20 minutes for coffee and drinks that evening. Unfortunately, the food was also a bit of a letdown, the steak from the buffet was dry and tough and some dishes weren't filled up even in the second course. There wasn't really a choice for the children either... so I don't think the price for fish fingers and nuggets is justified... The play paradise for the children, on the other hand, is really great... some people can learn a lesson from that.

We went to the New Year's Eve buffet for €60 and €10 for dessert and drinks extra. Unfortunately we were absolutely disappointed. The food was cold and not outstanding. Dessert didn't taste particularly good either. Next year we'll do something different for €70. Too bad

Rooms and tables decorated for Christmas and with lots of love. A joy to be inspired by the Christmas spirit. The breakfast buffet offers a wide range of different dishes and the coffee tastes good. The employees are friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back and I'm already looking forward to the next time.

Our team held the 2024 Christmas party in the restaurant and there was a gourmet grill buffet on Wednesdays. You've seen larger buffets, but the selection was adequate, as it's not as expensive on weekdays as it is on weekends. In addition, there wasn't that much going on today, so the noise level was OK (we didn't need a private booth). Delicious food, great service, parking available, clean toilets.

We went here for an all you can eat meal and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was super fresh, tasty and plentiful. The restaurant is very modern, open and warm. It's great to drive to and there's plenty of parking. The girls who serve are super friendly and have a good handle on even the “heavy crowd” 😅👍🏽 We appear more often, very good 👍🏽

The buffet themes are simply amazing. Service is good, the waitresses are extremely friendly. We come regularly. In summer it is a particularly great place for children...playground, chickens, rabbits and deer. Highly recommended 👍

Were there for the breakfast buffet. It was excellent👍 Great selection, nice atmosphere and everything was very clean. Like before when we were there. What was missing was orange juice, multi-juice etc... unfortunately there was only juice substitute from the tap, i.e. artificial juice. This was never the case otherwise... If you live in a fruit-growing region (apple etc.) I expect real juice, otherwise as I said everything is very good 👍

Delicious breakfast and nice staff. But was very disappointed with the drinks. From a breakfast costing €32 and a 3-star hotel, I definitely expected real orange juice and not water with syrup. It's really a shame :(

A solid hotel with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, although some were in need of renovation. - Mold in the bathroom - dark rooms - small / old sofa - bad internet. We had the fisherman's house. The outdoor area was very spacious. The children had great fun and enjoyed watching the animals in the playground. Unfortunately, you could only play mini golf for an additional charge. The indoor playground, however, was very poor. Only a few toys and spartan/carelessly furnished. When it comes to food (buffalo), you would have liked more choice for children. Within a week I had 5 fries. As a family hotel and guests over several days, the food was very monotonous, especially for children. OK for a weekend.

+ very clean room and reliable service + great selection at the breakfast buffet + beautiful, open area/yard + Animal enclosure and large playground + Family friendly + friendly staff - Checkout time 9.30 a.m. I find it very sporty, especially as a family with small children - I think it's a shame that the hotel only has a buffet in the evening and nothing small at lunchtime or coffee/cake in the afternoon - The buffet is great and varied but for us as a family it would simply have been too expensive to have it every evening - From Thursday we were able to switch to the mixing plant, a great addition but unfortunately not open every evening - the children's play area on the upper floor is a bit bleak and dark...it could be expanded/decorated a little nicer or could be supplemented with a craft room, for example

We were at the buffet in the restaurant today: it was packed, but still very comfortable to sit in, nice people and super friendly, fast and competent service. Really a nice atmosphere. We will come there again during the day. Really a very very nice place. 😻

In summary, our child's statement shortly before we got back home: Dad, turn around! Turn around! You drove the wrong way, I want to go back to the hotel! 100% recommendation from us, we will be back! The people there are so warm and absolutely great and the food is extremely delicious! The leisure value is also great! There is something here for everyone.

Went to the steak buffet, it was super tasty, was always refilled, friendly, courteous staff, would go there again at any time.

We are honestly very positively surprised! Everything at least met our expectations; sometimes even surpassed! We can only recommend this beautiful place.

Der Preis von 49 Euro pro Person ist absolut nicht gerechtfertigt, für das was da angeboten wird. Es ist sehr ungemütlich eine Lautstärke wie in einer Bahnhofshalle. Das Buffet machte einen lieblosen Eindruck .Mal von der Qualität der Speisen abzusehen. Einmal und nie wieder da gibt es definitiv bessere Alternativen.

We were there for the first time. The farm is beautifully located and also has lots of great things outside. The staff was very friendly. Our apartment was very nice, bright, large and had everything we needed. Breakfast buffet was also without any defects, there was a colorful selection every day. We would like to say thank you again to the lovely stay and the friendly restaurant.

A very nice hotel, also the space for children to play in the restaurant. You can sometimes tease the chickens, but I wouldn't do that because they have a lot of lice. Breakfast buffet is great.

In the middle of the green Upper Swabian nature you will find a very good place to celebrate, sleep and have breakfast. The hotel, restaurant, holiday apartments and celebration rooms almost merge into one another and yet everything can unfold without disturbing each other. Our party was more than enthusiastic about the warm buffet. After the overnight stay, we were also able to enjoy the overwhelming breakfast buffet and had a variety of options. Staff selected to be professional, friendly, accommodating, approachable and eager to work. Somehow everything fit together and was right here. A gastronomy of high quality but not snobbish. Someone knows their craft and we will definitely come back.

Very nice place for families with children But a bit expensive

We went to the Swabian buffet in the Tiergarten. The food was very tasty and plentiful, but we would have liked if the buffet had also included a small selection of desserts. The surroundings are great. Deer and small animals can be experienced up close.

We stayed here with 6 adults and 4 children (1 large holiday apartment and a family room) and were completely thrilled. Great service and great food. We'll definitely come back.

Went to the steak buffet, but I don't understand what was served there as steak. It was okay, but expensive. Went with two people for over €100 and the performance didn't quite match the price.

Very disappointed in the price-performance ratio. You can get much better quality and selection for less elsewhere. Refilling took a while, some things are only available until 10 but were gone before 10, meat was "hit or miss", little choice for vegetarians. Just nothing special that you would expect for €32.
