We were here again last week for dinner. We were positively surprised that the condition has absolutely improved. The effort received the 5th star. Now everything is as it should be. Nice staff, good food and clean sanitary facilities.

Were there again and I have to say absolutely great 😃 very friendly and organizationally just great. We celebrated a school enrollment three weeks ago and all the guests were thrilled. Thank you for everything.

Very friendly and very nice atmosphere

I was there yesterday, February 23, 2024, with colleagues. We chose the schnitzel buffet. The food was definitely recommended for such an upscale restaurant. Convenience is always used throughout. But that can be tolerated because it means that the prices remain within a range that is still bearable. €25 including 2 drinks is a fair price. There were three schnitzel variants to choose from: normal schnitzel, chicken schnitzel and cordon bleu with the corresponding sauces: a sauce with peppers, hunter's sauce and a cream sauce. Accompaniments were vegetables, fries (which weren't quite warm), croquettes and a salad bar. For dessert, vanilla and chocolate pudding. Only the cook will know why the vegetables weren't seasoned. That's the only negative point that sticks in my mind. The service was attentive and friendly. They love children at Roscheider Hof. I found that to be very positive. It was a shame that there weren't more guests there. Besides ours, there were only two other tables occupied in the rather large room. The restaurant deserves more business. Overall it was very okay.

The ambience is very nice. We weren't served for a very long time. We waited 1.5 hours for our food even though it was only soup and a salad. The tomato soup is packet soup. The bread was also poor quality. Unfortunately I can't recommend it

I'll start with something positive: the service. Friendly, nice, accommodating. Unfortunately that was it again. From the salad buffet, the carrot salad was okay, the coleslaw and especially the cucumber salad were inedible. The main course was Engadine-style pork fillet medallions with croquettes. I've never eaten such a tough and dry piece of pork tenderloin before, but the croquettes were quite solid. The ambience is quaint and dark.

However, it mainly concerns the open-air museum itself, which elicits constant oohs and ahs. Worth seeing and experiencing for young and old. You can easily spend the whole day there, there is so much to see.

Simply amazing, super friendly, very inviting, really fresh, homemade food, I haven't eaten such a good schnitzel in a long time and the tarte flambée was homemade, I even had to have the rest packed for me, so a large portion, great value for money . Clear recommendation

I've rarely eaten so badly. I didn't know you could go so wrong with a tarte flambée. Service was also slow even though it wasn't busy. The only positive thing is the ambience. I'm definitely not coming back.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't great at all. My schnitzel actually only consisted of breading, which was very annoying. The service was average but definitely needs improvement. The ambience stood out by far. The place has a lot of potential, which unfortunately is not being used.

Here you can have a good rest while visiting the open-air museum. Coffee and cake or savory (schnitzel)! Very nice service!

We always enjoy coming back. We like the atmosphere. The fries are delicious. The service is friendly. The waiting times are ok. Perfect for us.

Went to the tile buffet, you can do that, but it wasn't a highlight as you can get much better tile elsewhere.

The location has always been great anyway, with the current tenants and the delicious food - especially the fried potatoes (even in a garlic version!), the overall package is now really great! Conclusion: Extremely recommended!!

Unfortunately, I have already been disappointed once. Still gave it a second chance. And again I was disappointed. Toast Hawaii was well topped but cold. And brawn was ridiculous. Aspic was good but fried potatoes looked like they had picked up leftovers. All at 6 p.m. There were two conditions. One avoided work and the other was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately it was the last time I spent my money there.

We were in the restaurant yesterday afternoon, but left without eating. The service walked past us several times and served tables that were right next to ours. Unfortunately, none of the ladies paid any attention to us. After a table was served that arrived some time after us, we left.

The food tastes fantastic, the atmosphere is nice and the service is super friendly. Gladly again!

Great, quiet location with a fantastic terrace. Children's playground is around the corner. We were there on Father's Day and all the seats on the terrace were taken. The service was confident, professional and always attentive at all times. The food was quick at the table and very tasty. The menu is small, but there is something for every taste. Many thanks to Tabea, Luna and Marie. You gave us a great afternoon. We will be back. 🫶

Anyone who wrote a good review about the food here has never eaten well! 1. Service was really very friendly. Top 2. Eating is a complete disaster. The orange breading on the schnitzel clearly indicates frozen goods. We made the most of the menu with nine people and came to the clear conclusion -> never again. Flop How can you fail like that in such a great atmosphere? The “concept” is not a concept. Price-performance is a joke. Toilets could also be cleaned again. If you don't move with the times, you can move with the times. Not recommendable. What a pity.

We waited a long time for our meal. Service friendly, food mediocre. Update April 2024: Service very friendly. Nice beer garden. Food not recommended. 16.80 for this salad is just too much. A pity...

Overall impression okay...food was average (you could taste the finished products); To be honest, prices were overpriced, service was friendly, toilets were unfortunately very dirty (also with significantly older stains, which does not indicate day-to-day operations)...it should be mentioned that the menu was significantly shortened in the afternoon, unfortunately we were not informed about this on the homepage or when we entered ....all in all...okay for something small in between!

Were there on Christmas. Unfortunately you have to wait forever for drinks and unfortunately there was no fish dish on the small menu. Nevertheless, the service was friendly and the food tasted good.

I have known the restaurant for over 20 years. Back then it was already a good place to eat, which we often visited with friends. I don't know if it's the same owner or tenant from back then, but in any case we weren't disappointed on Christmas Day when we had dinner there with a large number of people!!! The restaurant was very busy and yet the staff was friendly and didn't seem overwhelmed! The food was just as excellent as I had known it before. For my friends and I, a restaurant to recommend! We wish the whole team continued success and many satisfied guests!!!

We were there on Friday for all you can eat. Compared to all the Chinese buffets, it's a great local alternative. Schnitzel in different versions, as cordon bleu, chicken or pork schnitzel with a choice of 3 sauces, delicious vegetables, croquettes and fries. This includes a salad bar with a small but well-balanced selection that leaves nothing to be desired. If you still feel like dessert after this delicious meal, you can treat yourself to a chocolate pudding or vanilla mousse. We left the restaurant more than full and will be back. Wir waren heute mal wieder im Restaurant essen. Top kann man nur sagen. Alles passt. Tolles Ambiente, sehr leckeres Essen, klasse Service!!! Eine Bereicherung für Konz!!!

Super leckeres Essen. Restaurant befindet sich im Innenhof des Freilichtmuseums, man kann aber auch dort essen gehen ohne das Museum zu besuchen, würde aber immer die Kombi empfehlen. Service sehr freundlich. Alles tiptop!

Wunderschöne Lokation, freundliches Personal und gutes Essen.

Essen war klasse. Salat war frisch und knackig und das All you can eat Buffet war immer sehr schnell nachgefüllt. Die Bedienung ist sau freundlich. Sie strahlt so eine Ruhe aus und hat alles im Griff. Da wird Service und Freundlichkeit noch groß geschrieben. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen.

Meine Freunde und ich gehen schon sehr lange zu Peter Kiefer essen und sind mehr als zufrieden. Egal ob Essen, Service, Qualität, es gibt nichts auszusetzen. Würde es jederzeit wieder empfehlen

Leckeres Essen, sehr nette Bedienungen und ein sehr sympathischer Chef! Für Kinder im Sommer klasse, da angrenzend direkt ein Spielplatz ist. Der Biergarten ist auch super schön im Sommer!

Gemütliches Restaurant mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung, für den Hund gab es sogar Wasser und ein Leckerli. Das Essen war gut und reichlich und kam schon kurze Zeit nach dem Bestellen.

Tolle, volksnahe Inhaber, Koch sehr gut, uriges Ambiente, welches sich sehr gut in das Ambiente des Roscheider Hofes einfügt.

Sehr empfehlenswert!!! Super zuvorkommendes, aufmerksames Personal und hervorragendes Essen!!! Auch wenn der Biergarten und das Restaurant alle Tische besetzt sind, ist die Wartezeit auf die Getränke und das Essen angemessen! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ein sehr entspannter Abend, sehr gutes Essen, der Service zuvorkommend und freundlich, gemütliche Atmosphäre. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht, trotzdem wurden wir sehr schnell bedient und es gab keine lange Wartezeit. Die Speisekarte bietet eine gute Auswahl an Gerichten und das Saltbuffet war ebenfalls gut bestückt mit frischen Zutaten. Ein Dank an das Team für den schönen Abend!

In gemütlicher Atmosphäre sehr gut gegessen. Der Service war super freundlich und zuvorkommend und dass Essen hat richtig gut geschmeckt. Obwohl das Restaurant sehr gut besucht war gab es keine lange Wartezeiten. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Habe mit 40 Gästen meinen Geburtstag dort gefeiert. Ambiente war sehr einladend, das Essen (Buffet) war ausgezeichnet, Herr Kiefer (Geschäftsführung) sowohl als auch die Frauen, die uns bedienten, waren ausnahmslos sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend freundlich.

Ich war bereits mehrfach zu Gast und kann es absolut weiterempfehlen! Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl, da ist für jeden etwas dabei! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Das gesamte Team ist sehr freundlich , aufmerksam und zuvorkommend! Bei schönem Wetter sitzt man auf der großen Terrasse wunderbar und auch im Restaurant fühlt man sich sehr wohl. Der Besuch lohnt sich hier in jedem Fall!

Der erste Eindruck beim Betreten der Lokalität wirkt herzlichst einladend. Man sitzt nicht nur zum Trinken sondern auch zum Essen sehr gemütlich unter den hiesigen Kastanienbäumen (unter denen man dank Schirmen vor abfallenden Kastanien bestens geschützt ist). Das Service-Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend und man merkt den Mitarbeitern vor Ort an, dass sie Spaß an ihrer Arbeit haben und sich wohl fühlen, was für mich einer der wichtigsten Indikatoren ist, um einen guten Laden zu entdecken. Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich, Preis - Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Die klassischen Flieten (Hähnchenflügel) die ebenfalls angeboten werden sind ebenfalls eine Empfehlung wert. Alles in allem wars ein echt schöner Besuch den wir hatten, werden sicher öfter kommen!

Twee keer heerlijk gegeten! Geen ingewikkelde kaart, maar echt Duits met veel schnitzel en andere vleesgerechten! Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding! Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Komen praktisch geen toeristen en maakt het daarom speciaal! 👍

Waren eine Gruppe von ca. 11 Personen. Vorweg das positive , der Service war angenehm , aufmerksam und freundlich . Das Ambiente empfindet jeder unterschiedlich , ich fand es schön bis auf die Toiletten, leider nicht besonders sauber und könnten eine Auffrischung gebrauchen. Das Essen, ich hatte Schweinemedallion, 3 sehr kleine Fleischstücke , viel zu trocken , die Pilze darauf konnte man zählen, immerhin waren es keine Dosenpilze. Die 6 Kroketten waren immerhin heiß und lecker. Eine Gurkenscheibe und eine Tomatenscheibe als Deko.

Wir sind eingekehrt nach dem Spaziergang, wurden freundlich und schnell bedient. Der Kuchen war sehr lecker, besonders der Käsekuchen. Unser Hund und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Werden auf jedem Fall wieder einkehren.

Nettes Restaurant mit guter Küche. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Wir gehen gelegentlich dort essen und waren immer zufrieden. Bei schönem Wetter kann man schön im Außenbereich sitzen.

Der junge Mann, der uns am 10.8. nachmittags bedient hat, war besonders zuvorkommend und freundlich, das findet man selten. Das Essen war super, wir hatten die Schweine-Medaillons und die Kartoffelklöße. Die Portionen waren absolut in Ordnung, hätten größer nicht sein müssen. Die Salatbeilage durfte man sich selbst holen/zusammenstellen, das Schüsselchen fand ich dafür aber erstens etwas klein und zweitens ungeeignet, da man den Salat darin nur übereinander schichten konnte, statt z.B. auf einem Teller verschiedene Sorten nebeneinander. Das ist aber auch der einzige Kritikpunkt. Das Ambiente ist schön, im Hof des Freilichtmuseums. Man muss übrigens keinen Museumseintritt zahlen, wenn man nur dort Essen möchte - wobei das Museum absolut sehenswert ist.
