Es war ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Das Essen ist sehr köstlich. Ich empfehle es weiter.

Die Kinderportionen waren wirklich sehr klein. Unsere beiden Kinder (6 & 8 Jahre alt) wurden nicht satt. Die Pommes, die wir dann trotz explizitem Hinweis nachbestellt haben, wurden uns auch voll berechnet. Mit Kindern nicht zu empfehlen.

Zur ersten Mal hier gewesen, aber nicht nicht zum letzten Mal ‼️ Sehr lecker gegessen bei freundlicher Bedienung . Bin wirklich begeistert 👍

Sehr zuvorkommend bedient, obwohl wir spät dran waren, wunderbares Spießgericht bekommen. SAFRAN erfreut nicht zum ersten Mal. Wir gehen immer dorthin, wenn wir in Konz sind.

Wir sind begeistert von tollem Essen mit den exotischen Gewürzen,einer netten Bedienung und einem schönen Ambiente. Gerne kommen wir wieder her!

Endlich schaffe ich es einmal eine Bewertung über unser Lieblingsrestaurant zu schreiben: Wir versuchen einmal im Monat in das/den Safran zu gehen, das Restaurant ist auch nur 10 Gehwegminuten von uns entfernt. Uns gefällt auch das schöne Ambiente mit orientalischem Einfluss, sehr schön gestaltet. Unser Essen war wie immer fantastisch, die kleinen Lamm-Koteletts einfach super gebraten und obwohl ich kein Reisesser bin, auch dieser schmeckt mir vorzüglich. Als Vorspeise hatte meine Frau die Garnelen und ich die Chicken Wings nach Persischer Art. Hauptgericht für uns beide war Schischlik, was wieder toll zubereitet war und sagenhaft geschmeckt hat. Wie immer zum Nachtisch bestellten wir eine Baklava mit einer Eiskugel, weil mehr ist nach den vorherigen Speisen einfach nicht mehr möglich. Begleiter zum Essen, wie immer ein leckerer Auxerrois, feinherb, vom Weingut Apel, vorher gab es noch zu Anfang einen Aperol Spritz. Nach dem Essen sind wir dann ganz, ganz langsam nach Hause getrottet. So das wars, der nächste Besuch ist natürlich auch schon eingeplant.

Waren schon 2 mal hier essen und es war beide Male sehr lecker! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Restaurant mitten im Wohnviertel ist ein Geheimtipp, den mir Freunde gaben. Aber da ich persische und orientalische Küche mag , war ich froh , es in meinem Umkreis zu finden. Und nicht enttäuscht!! Wir haben uns ausschließlich auf landestypische Gerichte konzentriert- und es war wirklich sehr gut , frisch zubereitet und fein abgeschmeckt. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber . Daher gern wieder….

Das Essen ist einfach fantastisch! Das Koobideh ist saftig, locker und perfekt gewürzt. Alles schmeckt frisch und liebevoll zubereitet, sodass jeder Bissen ein Genuss ist. Ich war wirklich begeistert von der Qualität und dem Geschmack, absolut empfehlenswert!

Obwohl wir kurz nach 13 Uhr hier ankamen und das Restaurant um 14 Uhr schließt, haben wir einen Tisch bekommen. Der junge Mann war sehr nett und das Essen wurde sehr zügig gebracht, lecker war es außerdem auch noch. Wir empfehlen Sie gerne weiter.

We spent our girls' night here today. The super delicious food was topped off by the very friendly and attentive service. Persian cuisine was completely foreign to me until now, but I'm thrilled. This certainly won't be the last time I've been here. Highly recommended!

From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and they were more than happy to accommodate special requests and variations to our meals. The food quality was outstanding with fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. They have a nice quaint terrace for your summer days. The restaurant is away from busy path and situated in a neighbourhood which makes a great spot to relax and enjoy your meal. I absolutely loved their Mirza Ghasemi and Koobideh kabab with their salad (replaced the rice). Highly recommend for anyone looking for great service and a personalized dining experience!

I absolutely loved my visit to this Persian restaurant! As soon as I entered I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt welcome. The atmosphere is warm, stylish and authentic - you can feel the attention to detail. The food was an absolute taste experience. The spices were perfectly balanced, the meat was tender and cooked to perfection, and the side dishes - especially the saffron rice - were simply delicious. I can particularly recommend the Ghormeh Sabzi and the Joojeh Kabab – both excellent! The service was also first class: attentive, friendly and with genuine hospitality. Not only is food served here, but a piece of Persian culture is lived. I'll definitely be back - a real gem not to be missed!

Der Koch kann nicht mit Gewürze umgehen. Bilige Gulasch Gericht. Ob das Lamm oder Hänschen ist gleiche Geschmack. Die Beilagen sind rohe Zwiebel Gurken aus der Dose und 1 Radieschen aufgeschnitten und klebrige Obergine. Einfach alles geschmacklos.

The food was ok. I would have been happy to receive a greeting from the kitchen, such as Persian bread and herbs, feta onions, etc. Unfortunately there was no bread to order. The service was quite ok and so was the portion. Minus pkt, unfortunately due to the lack of Persian dessert, no homemade dough and no bread. But otherwise everything is ok, you can eat there without any further food.

A quiet restaurant. A very polite owner/employee who was completely alone. Greetings, taking orders, cooking, serving, clearing, collecting. Not too challenging with only 4 guests in total. The food was good. The portions are quite large and also tasty. The decoration was fine. It can always be better, but you can clearly feel how much effort and passion goes into it.

The food is ok but not special. The prices are not cheap: around €15 for a simple vegetarian dish, meat dishes are more expensive. The store isn't pretty, but it's very cool and sometimes drafty. The service is friendly.

It's a Middle Eastern restaurant that you should try in Konz. The food isn't too salty. It's quite difficult to choose if you've never eaten before. The amount of food is suitable for two people. Overall, it's considered quite ok and will go back to try other menus.

I had a great time at this Persian, Iranian Restaurant. The location was lovely with a charming little garden full of beautiful rose flowers. The inside was nicely decorated, and the owner was really friendly, just as I expected. I enjoyed a delicious Chicken Kebab, marinated with Zaferan and grilled to perfection. It was so juicy, and the portion size was just right. I also tried the Zeiton Parvarde, Persian-style olives marinated with walnuts, herbs, and pomegranate. It was really well prepared. Another plus is that they offer free parking spaces if you're driving there.

Small but excellent restaurant in the middle of a residential area. Since we had absolutely no contact with Persian cuisine so far, we asked for recommendations - and we were given excellent advice. Thanks for that! As the name suggests, there are many dishes with saffron here. We enjoyed the starters (grilled eggplant and stuffed grape leaves) almost more than the main courses! On the other hand, the saffron ice cream was unfortunately dispensable - it was okay, but absolutely couldn't keep up with the rest. Maybe the expectations were just too high :-) The atmosphere is good; there was a small indoor area and a few tables on the patio. Since we were there relatively late and the restaurant is surrounded by residential buildings, we felt like we had to keep quiet outside - without anyone complaining.

Die Speisekarte beinhaltet sowohl deutsche, als auch italienische und persische Gerichte. Uns haben nur die persischen Gerichte interessiert. Eine tolle Auswahl. Auch die Getränkekarte ist sehr ansprechend. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Wir waren nicht das letzte Mal dort.

The restaurant is very clean and hygienic, the food was ok, it was not fresh maybe it's a cuture thing, that's food is prepared a day ot two prior to consumption.

Mit meinen Schwägerinnen und meinem Schwager waren meine Frau und ich im Safran. Dieser ist der Nachfolger vom La Casale, einem Italiener und heute: ein Perser, wir waren gespannt. Es empfing uns ein freundlicher junger Mann in einem hellen umgestaltet Restaurant. Das Lokal sah super aus und jetzt ging es ans auswählen der Gerichte: die Auswahl geht über persisch bis hin zu bekannte Gerichten z.B Boef Stroganoff. Dieses gab es mit einer besonderen Sauce, die Frauen meinten - einfach mal probieren, lecker. Die Frauen und ich probierten drei petsische Gerichte. Ich kann nur sagen: wow, wie lecker. Kommt hin und probiert. So wie wir empfangen wurden, so war es die ganze Zeit. Freundlich, schnell im Service uns immer wurde nach uns gesehen, ob alles in Ordnung war. Fazit: Wir kommen wieder, es müssen noch die anderen Gerichte probiert werden. Wir fühlten uns als Gäste, wir waren willkommen und das ist ein schönes Gefühl. Bis bald mal wieder.

Very friendly service. Dishes were brought quickly as we were also the first guests. In one lamb dish the meat was a bit dry, in another it was buttery tender. Overall a pleasant stay, we will come back.

Food was prepared quickly and tasty. Atmosphere relatively simple, I know other Persian restaurants where the traditional is lived a little more. Service nice and friendly.

We were in Trier and were looking for a restaurant. We found this Persian restaurant just outside Trier. It was located in a very quiet place. Nice and spacious villa with a sober decoration. You can park there easily. We were received by the owner who was very friendly. The food was very delicious. We ordered real Persian dishes and side dishes. And enjoyed a lovely evening with delicious food.

Ich habe mich gefreut, dass endlich mal ein persisches Restaurant hier in der Gegend aufgemacht hat, aber ich bin sehr enttäuscht worden. Als Iranerin weiß ich daß, das Djuje Kabab in Limone und Safran eingelegtes Hühnchen Fleisch ist, dass über Feuer gegrillt wird, ist. Man hat davon gar nichts geschmeckt. Es waren ganz normal gewürzte Hähnchen Flügel im Backofen gegart. Der Reis war nicht körnig und schlecht gekocht. Es ist traurig, weil es auch den Eindruckt macht, dass unsere persische Küche so geschmacklos ist, gerade weil sie normalerweise aromatisch und vielfältig ist.

Ordered something there (for pickup) for the first time today. I'm really positively surprised. It was really very good! Had two chicken skewers (in saffron)... Grilled, nice and juicy and fresh! Highly recommended for those who like Persian cuisine or just want to try something new. Nice reception on the phone and on site. Price/performance ratio absolutely ok!

Today, February 6, 2024, I ate at SAFRAN with a friend for the first time. The restaurant is located, somewhat unusually, in a residential area of ​​Konz. I knew it from before, when it was still a pizzeria. It's been a Persian restaurant for a few weeks now. The furnishings are a bit sparse, but it seems to be a new establishment. That's too much to bear. The food was really very good, there's no other way to say that. Very balanced in taste, excellently seasoned and elegantly presented. It was also brought to the table very quickly, with attentive service. I can well imagine that we will go there more often and I would hope that more people would find their way to this restaurant.

Na ja, es sollte aber wenigstens dann auch das Geld wert gewesen sein...teuer allein heißt nicht automatisch auch gut. Sorry

Kleines Restaurant! Wir haben schön draussen gesessen und sehr lecker gegessen. Die Chefin ist sehr nett. Komme gerne wieder! Update 2023: Heute beim neuen Besitzer gegessen. Allen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt.

Unser Kellner war ausgesprochen freundlich. Die Vorspeise, Antipasti für 2 Personen einfach köstlich, ebenso die Hauptspeisen Tagesfisch mit Spinat-Kartoffelpüree u Gemüse und Pizza Rucola. Die Weine, Rosé und Auxerrois, sind ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Die ruhige, jazzige Hintergrundmusik hat uns auch sehr gefallen. Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Abend.

Wir wohnen in dem Wohngebiet, in dem sich das Restaurant befindet. Heute haben wir es nach längerer Zeit mal wieder besucht und haben SEHR lecker gegessen! Dazu einen Wein von einem renommierten Weingut der Region ... das hat sich gelohnt!! Schade, dass an so einem schönen Spätsommerabend so wenig Gäste dort waren!! Wir werden unsere gute Erfahrung auch an anderer Stelle weitergeben!!!
