We've been here twice now. First of all, the food is very good. The Brussels sprouts and spinach curry in particular was something new and very delicious! Price-wise it seems okay to me too. On our last visit, however, the service left something to be desired. At the beginning everything went relatively quickly, but when we wanted to get the menu for dessert again, nothing came for a long time. At some point we asked the waiter again and his reaction seemed as if he had forgotten that we had asked for cards. The wait for dessert was a bit long. But he was friendly (: What I noticed on both visits was that the music was a bit loud. It's beautiful and suits my taste exactly, but the volume is a bit much. Lowering it a bit wouldn't be bad. But all in one it's still good and nice :)

Were there for the company Christmas dinner. Beautiful, stylish and unique interior, the service was friendly, the prices were reasonable and the beer was cold 😁 Parking spaces from the restaurant itself, weakly signposted in the dark (to the left of the building), but there are plenty of parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. There is only one star deducted from the food based on your own taste, the herb salt on the steak was definitely too much for me. Otherwise it was great 👍

So enttäuschend! Dieses Restaurant hat leider eklatant beim Thema Speisenqualität und Service nachgelassen! Nach der damaligen Eröffnung ein absoluter Gewinn für die Region - kulinarisch als auch beim Ambiente und dem Gesamteindruck des Personals - mittlerweile aber leider Null-acht-fünfzehn- Niveau mit überteuerten Preisen. Am 4. Adventswochenende nahezu leer gefegt, kaum Gäste anwesend, und dennoch ewig langes Warten auf den Service und das Essen.... Getränkebestellungen wurden sogar komplett vergessen, das Essen wurde nahezu kalt serviert, der Beilagensalat wurde auch nach Hinweis des Fehlens nicht nachgeliefert, die Gesamtqualität leider mangelhaft (Cesars-Salad meiner Tochter unzureichend geputzt, an Dressing wurde dramatisch gespart, der Lachs meines Mannes eine absolute Miniversion, mein Steak leider nicht medium wie gewünscht, sondern durch und dennoch nur noch lauwarm).... Außerdem wurde offensichtlich an Heizkosten gespart, was den Abend ungemütlich anmuten ließ. Positiv zu bewerten waren der Brotkorb mit einer wirklich guten Brotauswahl und das Ambiente des Gebäudes - deshalb 2 Sterne..... Leider wird dieses Restaurant aus unserer persönlichen Lieblingsliste gestrichen!

Ich bin am Dienstag Abend spontan mit einer Freundin im Historischen Bahnhof zum Abendessen gewesen. Ich bin etwas enttäuscht, da ich schon viel davon gehört hatte. Meine Freundin hatte ein Rumpsteak, was sehr kalt gewesen ist, auf die Nachfrage beim Kellner, sagte er vielleicht ist die Kräuterbutter zu kalt, dass sie nicht schmilzt. Ein Versuch es warm zu machen geling ihnen nicht. Meine Hauptspeise das Schnitzel war ok, aber die Beilage Pommes frites war sehr salzig und auch der Salat war zu viel gewürzt und etwas labbrig. Für das Geld hätten wir viel mehr erwartet und sind sehr enttäuscht worden.

Heel mooi restaurant, maar … wellicht te weinig personeel om deftig te kunnen bedienen. Aperitief en hapje kwamen vlot, maar dat was het dan. Het eten was redelijk, maar de wijn kwam pas als het eten al bijna op was en de mayonaise voor de frietjes hebben we tot 3 keer toe gevraagd . Toen de mayonaise eindelijk werd geleverd waren de frietjes koud. We zouden nog een dessert eten en vroegen de kaart, maar ook die kwam maar niet af. Toen de ober kwam vragen of we een dessert namen vroegen we de rekening, waarbij de ober de wenkbrauwen optrok. Jammer, zo’n mooie zaak vraagt een veel betere bediening.

Unfortunately I'm disappointed. The menu and the ambience promise a lot. Unfortunately there isn't much left of it. There are only 7 main courses listed. You think you're getting good food. Even with the few dishes, not everything that was on the menu was available??? We were also only able to enjoy an apricot schnapps because that was the last one they had in stock! And that on a Friday evening. The Wiener Schnitzel was crispy in terms of the breading, but the meat was fried to death and had a very bland taste. The ambience is very nice, without a doubt. Unfortunately that was it. There were only two conditions for the entire evening, with around 200 seats. The restaurant wasn't full, but it was busy. It was also clear to the waitress that they didn't enjoy their job too much. Too bad!!!

What should you write... Now when you open the menu you will see the numbers of the food additives. An indication of fresh cuisine, probably not. Ordered a bread basket with dip as a starter and received plenty of good-tasting bread and 3 pre-made dips such as remulade, a lemony cream and something red. The main course was a veal schnitzel with fries and salad. And the best thing was the salad. 2 pre-made schnitzels, briefly warmed up and damn dry. Oh yes, the fries, shouldn't you remove the parts with the big black spots? And when it comes to service, it has to be said that we arrived at 5:30 p.m. and were only asked for the first time shortly before 6 p.m. what we would like to get. And this with the almost empty restaurant/terrace. This is probably because there was only one person on duty until 6 p.m. By the way, this restaurant took first place on the television show: My Local, Your Local. So much for it, it's been a long time...

Unfortunately, the really great ambience alone doesn't help. We had a dinner date with 5 people. There was "Wiener Schnitzel", three times "Schaffnerpfanne" and once "salad with tuna" It always surprises me where you find waiters who don't understand their job. Unfortunately, service was inattentive and you had to make yourself aware that you wanted something to drink. After the meal you were not asked whether you wanted a desert or coffee and the bill was placed on the table without being asked. When we asked if there was another limoncello on the house, he was almost laughed at. Reluctantly, he brought us a whopping 1 limoncello for 5 people. I then left it there and I was able to remember the comment that he could drink it himself, unfortunately don't resist. But tips were nicely pocketed beforehand. Conclusion: Have been there at least 20 times...the emphasis is on goods...look for waiters who know their job. ps. At 8 p.m. there were no more croquettes and there was no alternative suggestion, you had to express it yourself.

60€ for tasteless food. I ordered Caesar Salad with high hopes only to find 3 cherry tomatoes cut in half, I was eating sauce more than the vegetables itself and the chicken was disgusting. They say it’s fried but I’m pretty sure it was boiled. They brought in boiled meat, no seasoning. It’s food that you give in hospitals. The only good thing about this place is that they hired a good interior designer. I do not recommend.

Today we had dinner with 6 people at the historic train station in Konz, we were greeted by a wonderful ambience. We ate from the menu (first class presentation) and from the daily menu. I don't want to go into the individual dishes, they were consistently good. (Potatoes could have been a little warmer) The waiting time between the order and the invoice was also reasonable. Three passing trains and an ICE rounded it all off, But the ICE was only visible briefly. 😉 We'll be back. (9 points 😁)

Ich war in der Mittagspause da , habe mir einen Salat bestellt , der für den Preis nicht das entsprach , was ich mir vorgestellt habe. Darüber hinaus , kam das Getränk nur und der Salat wurde vergessen . Nach einer halben Stunde hab ich mal gefragt , wann der Salat kommt . Wie gesagt , die Bestellung wurde vergessen. 10 Minuten später , war der Salat da , aber das Besteck wurde vergessen . Und meine Mittagspause war langsam vorbei , so das ich in Eile essen musste . Fazit , werde nicht mehr dahin gehen . Preis , Leistung und Service nicht ansprechend .

Pleasant atmosphere and good service, but the vegetarian and vegan culinary offerings leave a lot to be desired. Selection very limited and not varied. It would make sense to pay attention to vegetarian versions of parmesan and burrata in order to automatically expand the range. Vegan options are the least attractive: sweet potato soup as a starter and sweet potato curry as a main course. This is too redundant and it's no fun to eat sweet potatoes twice in a row. The selection of non-alcoholic drinks is also not very attractive. Limited to the standard repertoire: water, soft drinks, various juices and spritzers as well as tea and coffee specialties. People miss creative non-alcoholic drinks. Prices for food and drink are fair. However, portion sizes are rather modest. In terms of taste, the dishes are average - nothing particularly stands out or leaves a lasting impression. The service, the child-friendliness, the ambience and the cleanliness should be highlighted positively. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was modern and appealing. Everything is impeccably clean and gives a good first impression that creates certain expectations of what is on offer. Overall, the restaurant remains an option for a repeat visit. Probably not many vegetarians, vegans: inside the restaurant (?) and/or guests who do not consume alcohol visit the restaurant.

Sehr schön gestaltet, angenehme Atmosphäre und freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service, aber das vegetarische und vegane Angebot lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Auswahl ist stark begrenzt und nicht abwechslungsreich. Um das Angebot zu verbessern, wäre es sinnvoll, vegetarische Varianten von Parmesan und Burrata einzuführen, womit sich das Angebot automatisch erweitert. Die veganen Optionen sind besonders unattraktiv: Vorspeise Süßkartoffelsuppe, Hauptgericht Süßkartoffel-Curry. Eine unangenehme Redundanz. Es ist wenig reizvoll, zweimal hintereinander Süßkartoffeln zu essen. Auch die Auswahl an alkoholfreien Getränken ist ernüchternd, beschränkt sie sich lediglich auf das Standardrepertoire (Wasser, Softdrinks, diverse Säfte und Schorlen daraus sowie Tee und Kaffeevariationen). Kreative, alkoholfreie Drinks fehlen. Preise sind fair, allerdings fallen die Portionsgrößen eher bescheiden aus. Geschmacklich sind die Gerichte durchschnittlich und hinterlassen keinen bleibenden Eindruck. Positiv hervorzuheben sind der Service, die Kinderfreundlichkeit, das moderne und einladende Ambiente sowie die Sauberkeit.

Maybe we just expected too much...at least in this price range. But first of all: the ambience is amazing! Very very nice! Really! I am happy to give it 5 stars for the extremely tasteful furnishings with great attention to detail. But, unfortunately, that was it. Surprisingly, the starter came before the drinks and was more than quick. When it comes to cream of asparagus soup, I really expect a cream soup and not an over-salted water broth with a hard piece of asparagus. So the soup went back. A nice touch was that I got a new soup, which was thickened, but the flour didn't affect the taste. However, the cook told me: "...asparagus cream soup is just thin..." Aha?!? I look amazed now. Guuut, I know it really differently and actually better. I always thought the word cream meant something “thicker”... but oh well. The highlight of the starters was the bread basket with 3 different dips. Really delicious bread. Ordered twice, delivered once. When we asked that we had ordered it twice, bread came, but no dipping sauce. I think we waited another 80 minutes for the main course. Where one came to the table too quickly and before the drinks, the other simply took too long... or it was already standing there waiting and waiting... because: fries were cold, steaks were lukewarm, and the Schaffnertopf only had 3 pieces of meat one edible, the rest cold and tough, the vegetables, also only lukewarm and really very firm to the bite. Others would call it raw food, I would say partially cooked. Okay with carrots, but not so tasty with cauliflower. The steak was in a brown gravy...hm...not really tasty for us. It didn't fit. If it had been a pepper sauce it would have been okay, but it was some kind of beef gravy. My steak tasted good and was tender. But as a medium, it's at the limit of not being considered well done. But I personally liked this delicate pink tone, even better than having too much “gravy” spilling onto the plate. One likes it, the other doesn't. But as I said, the taste of the steak with herb butter was good, but unfortunately only lukewarm. My mother said the herb butter tasted rancid. I couldn't say that, everyone has their own creation, but today 2 out of 3 people unfortunately had slightly different problems... Ultimately, my husband was able to highlight the delicious croquettes, and my mother and I were able to highlight the side salad with a really good dressing. We didn't want to eat any more for dessert, but I ordered 2 Virgin Coladas. Time passed and passed, well, there's a lot going on, okay the pineapple still needs to be squeezed, but when I thought that the coconut still had to grow, I had a few doubts... At some point the service man, who didn't really understand everything, realized that he hadn't placed the order... but then everything suddenly went smoothly! All I can say is: very tasty cocktail mix, drinkable and I would have liked to drink more, but at some point you want to go home again. Now the question "would I do it again...?" Yes, when the weather is nice in the beer garden, with a cocktail, bread basket and dips... and the steak, I'll give it another chance!

Starters were good and the terrace is nice. But unfortunately those are the only two positive points. The cellar who was responsible for our table was supposedly on his first day and didn't know his way around at all. Unfortunately, he didn't get any help from the many other waiters running around. The veal schnitzel was really bad. The pasta was overcooked. All main courses came individually, the side dishes were 20 minutes late, so the rest was already cold or eaten. At least we weren't charged the entire amount as a gesture of goodwill.

We were there today with 4 people. 3 ordered the Schaffner pan. Conclusion: Meat was great, mushrooms were great, but the vegetables were cold! With all three! This must not happen! Won't go there again!

Very friendly welcome and very friendly service. Admittedly, we were there on a Tuesday at 8 p.m., but I was still surprised by the speed with which the food we ordered was brought to us: Within 10 minutes of ordering, the drinks and the starter were already on our table (well, okay, it was a bread basket with three different dips) and less than 15 minutes later we already had the main course in front of us. Personally, I was missing light and gentle background music. However, I'm not sure whether this would be possible without problems given the general acoustics. The ceiling is very high everywhere and the reverb spreads so easily, which creates a general "soundscape" anyway. The food itself was really delicious. The various dips that went with the bread were properly seasoned (I have often had the experience that such dips were either far too little seasoned or completely over-seasoned) and the bread itself was nice and crispy and sometimes even warm. My rump steak medium was actually cooked to medium rare and very tender. The fish that my friend ordered was also fried/cooked to perfection. The salad was...just a salad. You can do that actually never do anything wrong. The price for two people was almost exactly €80, including drinks. Not exactly cheap, but I would say that the price is quite reasonable. I even expected a little more. Gladly again.👍🏻

Great ambience, service ok, - food miserable - My 28 € steak (that was 56 marks) was so cool that the herb butter didn't melt. The plate was warmer than the meat. At that price, something like this shouldn't leave the kitchen.

Edit 15/01/24: The owner seems to be reporting all negative reviews of this establishment to which the reviewer must respond in order to keep the review posted (which I have done). This would explain the high rating but lack of quality some other reviewers seem to be posting about. Breakfast menu was very limited and had no vegan options. Server was nice but it took around an hour for us to get our food. Pancakes had clearly been sitting under the food heater for some time and were hard and dry. We had to specifically ask for maple syrup which was provided albeit very little. I'm sure lunch or dinner are better given the restaurants rating but would avoid for breakfast if you're In a hurry. Terrace outisde was very nice.

Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert und ca. eine Stunde später erst den Hauptgang serviert bekommen. Das essen war sehr gut aber leider nur noch lauwarm. Wir haben dann bemängelt, dass es so lange dauerte und dann erzählte man uns, dass es im Obergeschoss noch eine größere Gruppe gibt, weshalb es länger dauerte. Dafür hatten wir Verständnis, jedoch wäre es sinnvoll gewesen hätte man uns zu Anfang gesagt das es etwas länger dauern kann, dann hätten wir uns auch nicht geärgert. Ansonsten war der Service und das Personal echt sehr gut und freundlich.

Nun, zu sagen es war eher schlecht ist ungenau und vielleicht nicht gerecht. Das es an Feiertagen hoch her geht ist bekannt. Dass man trotz Reservierung, im vorgeschrieben 15 min. Takt, 5 min. in Wind und Wetter, in der Schlange steht, na ja. Scheinbar war ein Aufzug für den oberen Raum defekt, so dass, unten, ziemlich prall gefüllt war. So war unser Tisch, 3mtr. von Tür und Reservierungsbuch entfernen. Zu dem, im Laufweg der Kellner, die echt, Hut ab, rennen mussten...... Das Essen war überschaubar, mein Lachs war beidseitig gebraten und gerade so, kurz vor trocken. Das Schweinefilet war durch gebraten, von zart rosa weit entfernt. Dieses Dinge wurden von uns angesprochen, "schauen wir mal, was wir machen können", wurde gesagt. Leider erfolgte keine Reaktion.... Für uns hatten sich die 160 km Anfahrt, nicht so recht gelohnt, leider. Das mag wohl im normalen Tagesgeschäft nicht so sein und bestimmt gib es besser Tage, für Restaurant zu Services......

Ich war gestern Abend, dem 23.12.23, mit einer Freundin im historischen Bahnhof. Für mich war es, seit April diesen Jahres, der zweite Besuch. Es war so la la. Vergleiche ich es mit dem ersten Mal, hat die Küche dort abgebaut, oder sie schwankt in der Qualität und wir hatten einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Es fing damit an, dass wir nach der Weinkarte fragen mussten. Der Service war bemüht, aber auch nicht wirklich anwesend. Bis das Essen kam hat es etwas gedauert. Gut, dass ist ja kein Schnellimbiss, daher habe ich das hingenommen. Aber den Speisen hat irgendwie der Pfiff gefehlt. Es war gewöhnlich und solch einem Restaurant unangemessen. Ich hatte eine Maispoularde mit Bulgur, meine Begleiterin einen Salat. Die Poularde war nicht richtig warm und zu trocken. Der Bulgur war langweilig gewürzt. Das Bier war zu warm und schmeckte abgestanden, d.h., die Zapfanlage ist nicht richtig eingestellt. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass ich das besser hinkriege. Allerdings gehe ich deshalb nicht raus essen. Der Salat meiner Begleiterin war lieblos angerichtet und es hat ihm schlicht das Dressing gefehlt. Sie musste, wg. d. nicht anwesenden Service, dann selbst hingehen und nach Dressing fragen. Das ist ein absolutes no go. Wir sind beide von der Gastronomie nicht ganz unbeleckt und kennen die Abläufe in einer Restaurantküche. Meine Freundin arbeitet in der Gastronomie. Es sind im Bahnhof, in Küche und Service entweder zu wenig gut ausgebildete Leute beschäftigt und/oder die Abläufe sind nicht klar geregelt. Wenn der Laden, wie gestern, gut besucht ist, bekommen sie das nicht mehr angemessen hin. Das Ambiente ist umwerfend. Der Bahnhof war ja eigentlich eine Ruine. Da wurde enorm viel Geld investiert. Er ist jetzt ein Prachtbau. Dem der das in Angriff genommen hat kann man nur danken. Dafür gibt‘s den dritten Stern. Deshalb wäre das doppelt schade, wenn das Restaurant den Bach runtergehen würde. Und die Gefahr sehe ich als real an. Wenn sie sich nicht am Riemen reissen und die Qualität nicht in den Griff kriegen, haut‘s die nächstes Jahr, wenn die Mehrwertsteuererhöhung in der Gastronomie zu Buche schlägt, aus der Kurve. Wir werden in ein paar Monaten wieder hingehen und nachsehen, ob sich was getan hat.

Wir waren soeben im historischen Bahnhof essen. Wir hatten als Vorspeise u.a. Selleriesuppe. Die war sehr fade (mit Wasser verdünnt?) und es fehlte zuerst die Chorizzo. Löffel wurde erst später eingedeckt, als die Suppe bereits auf dem Tisch stand. Der HG dauerte sehr lange. ca. 50 Min.. Die Beilagensalate waren insofern schlecht, weil die Salatblätter viel zu groß waren mit Strunk. Ich hatte die Rinderbäckchen, wobei die beiden Klöße im Kern zu hart waren. Insgesamt für solch ein Restaurant ein schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der Service dünn besetzt und dem Anschein nach keine gelernten Fachkräfte. Wir mochten den historischen Bahnhof mal sehr gerne. Leider werden wir nicht wieder kommen.

War hier für eine größere Feier! Der Service war top und das Ambiente wirklich schön. Wir hatten ein Buffet gebucht und alle probierten Speisen waren sehr lecker {vor allem das Vitello Tonnato}, einziger kleiner Abzug die Präsentation war ein wenig langweilig und altmodisch. Für eine Feier aber eine klare Empfehlung! Werde demnächst auch einmal ganz klassisch das Restaurant besuchen.

Today I was at Turan Kebap House and ordered both kebab and pida. I really enjoyed both dishes – they were fresh and very tasty. I was particularly impressed by the friendly and courteous owner, who made the visit a completely pleasant experience. I would love to come back and recommend this store!

I find the menu of this place very old style. The quality of meat is great, but the dishes were presented in an old way. I won’t come back to this restaurant again. The vegetarian dish with patatoes and kohlrabi was so full of mayonnaise that I couldn’t eat it. To finish: we were welcomed to seat in a table which was not perfectly clean.

Der Koch kann nicht mit Gewürze umgehen. Bilige Gulasch Gericht. Ob das Lamm oder Hänschen ist gleiche Geschmack. Die Beilagen sind rohe Zwiebel Gurken aus der Dose und 1 Radieschen aufgeschnitten und klebrige Obergine. Einfach alles geschmacklos.
