Wirtshaus Laurentia in Bad Urach

Everything was as it should be! The location, service, and food/drinks were superb!

It's ideal for sitting outside with a cool wheat beer on the market square. We highly recommend the Swiss sausage salad. The prices feel rather high than average.

I was eating at Laurentia with my partner, the service came quickly and the food we ordered was also there. The service was always very curt, our drinks (Spezi) were non-carbonated, one glass tasted like alcohol and one like dishwashing liquid. The plates were nice and big and you were full. I didn't like the taste of it because of all the peppers in the breading, but that's a matter of taste. We wanted ketchup and mayo with our fries, which we got very quickly. What we didn't know was that the ketchup and mayo each cost an extra 50 cents, so I had to pay €1 for two teaspoons of ketchup and mayo for my partner and I. It would be nice if you told the customers something like that.

We had a delicious meal! The food (a huge schnitzel with salad and baked Maultaschen) came quickly, and the staff was very friendly. The prices are also reasonable. We would definitely recommend it and come back ourselves.

I can't comment on the rooms, but the food was excellent. I treated myself to a raspberry spritzer with wild berries, which was also very good. I couldn't get the wild berries out of the glass because I didn't have a spoon, but otherwise everything was great. We sat in the sun at the edge of the market square. It was a perfect end to the hike.

Nice restaurant with a beautiful view of the market square. The Swabian food is delicious. One star deducted for the lady who served us. It's a shame, it didn't fit into the overall picture.

Beautiful inn right on the market square, a wonderful place to sit in the sun. Delicious food, including cheese spaetzle and Maultaschen (ravioli) with potato salad. Friendly service. Food completely normal… schnitzel very good!!! You could see that she wasn't in the mood for the service... that was often the case with her... she wasn't in the mood for it... that's a shame because the owners and the food are very good.

We ate very well here. Fries, for example, were super fresh, hot and absolutely delicious.

The food was cold, the sauces and spaetzle were finished products and tasteless. In addition, our food was cold, not even lukewarm! I asked if I could get a single spinach dumpling for my 1 year old daughter, but it also came cold!!!! When it came to paying, the service person spoke to the apparently owner about the price of the dumplings in Croatian/Serbian/or Bosnian. The price was then pushed up from 3.50 oh no 4 euros oh no make it 4.50... sad. When I then spoke to the owner, also in my native language, that it was really outrageous to charge 4.50 for a dumpling that was cold, she said that's just how it is, bad luck... never again and I don't recommend it to anyone who is on vacation to go there. Even when it's full. It's deceptive. We noticed during the visit that there are a lot of regular guests who only come to drink because it's cheaper but the food isn't good!!!

It was quite okay. A little bit of sauce and the Maultaschen were probably not homemade. The service was nice.

Never again ! Food was cold, even the fries ketchup is only available upon request 10 minutes later, Drinks Beer was okay but Fanta Cola are Apparently syrup or something Service underground! Unfriendly

Food and service both mediocre.

Big portion, good taste. The fries were tasty, the spaetzle are not exceptional. It just seems to be bought. The juices are bad; no juice, just way too sweet syrup (at least the raspberry one). The service was attentive, but not particularly cordial. Otherwise it made a good and clean impression and is also very attractive with its central location. My conclusion: You can eat there, but I wouldn't make a direct recommendation.

The inn is located on the market square. Quiet location. Here I ate half a chicken with fries, which you rarely get in pubs anymore.

The story is quickly told. The service is semi-friendly, not particularly attentive and after more than an hour they realized that they had forgotten my order. I hope I never get lost here again.

After a visit to the waterfalls, a perfect end to a day in Bad Urach. Good price-performance ratio, refreshing summer drinks, delicious food and friendly service.

We have rarely eaten so badly. We ordered turkey schnitzel and mushroom cream schnitzel, each with spaetzle. The tastiest thing was the salad that came with it. The actual main courses didn't taste like anything. The only positive thing about the meat was that it wasn't burnt, although it was still fried to death. Too bad for the animal. The cream sauce worked like a ready-made sauce mix only with 4 times the amount of water. The food, as it was, shouldn't actually be allowed to be sold. The price would be OK for the amount of good food, but of course not. The service was below average, no smile, no eye contact. It's much better, but also worse. The location is good. The ambience, well. The toilets suck.

Service was very nice and attentive! Platter schnitzel didn't taste good. It's big, but that doesn't belie the quality. Mushroom cream schnitzel was ok so far. Ordered a large bottle of still water. When I opened it, it felt like the bottle hadn't been originally sealed. No typical opening noise. But I don't want to assume anything...

Incredibly bad :( 1 huge schnitzel but wafer-thin that was probably forgotten in the deep fryer. Likewise, the fries here are a tiny portion and hard as bones. You could hardly eat them. Not even the pigeons! To top it off, the service was also unfriendly. Of course the location is just perfect. I will definitely stop by here just for a drink and I absolutely cannot recommend it.

Were there again yesterday - for many years. The name, direction and owner have probably changed since then. Unfortunately not for the best. The service was very friendly, but a bratwurst with (a few) fries and gravy for nine euros is sporty. A dollop of ketchup costs extra... Well, for us it's just this one time, there's a better way.
