Restaurant Eberhard in Bad Urach

Impossible. It calls itself a restaurant café. They only serve cakes in the afternoon. No savory dishes, just rolls, pretzels, or snacks. Just cake. To find out what kind of cake they have, you have to go to the counter yourself. They apparently haven't realized that a large portion of their guests are having difficulty walking. Also, it's not for diabetics. So incredibly bad to allow themselves to do something like this with a hotel next to a thermal spa, rehabilitation clinic, and theater. Truly from the last millennium. Service was very friendly.

After a dismissive greeting (perhaps due to our hiking outfits), we ordered a roast beef and a pork medallion. Unfortunately, the presentation didn't live up to its promise: The Maultaschen (swabian dumplings) with the roast beef were bad and tasted sour. Shortly before the meal was finished, my wife found a piece of plastic on the herb patty. The subsequent complaint was dismissed with "I'll pass this on..." and a shot of schnapps on the house.... The price/performance ratio is completely out of proportion to the "fuss" displayed by the staff. Complaint management looks different! In this price range, it's not optimal. A quick note to the waiter who greeted us so warmly: The guests weren't interested in how many meals had been served that day or whether he'd walked a lot....😉 Overall, unfortunately, a negative experience.

Seven of us went to lunch today. The service was absolutely fine. However, almost all of us were disappointed with the food. The portions were quite small, the spaetzle had no taste at all, and the roast beef was quite tough. The salad, lentils, and boiled beef were all okay. Nevertheless, the value for money was not at all good. We really expected more. Unfortunately... :-(

Was just turned away at 8:30 p.m. because reservations close at 8:30 p.m. Service is different.

I had the best rump steak ever there. It was super tender, the fries were delicious, and for dessert, the chocolate cake with a liquid center, vanilla ice cream, and warm plums was absolutely delicious. The service was very friendly.

I've rarely eaten such a bad meal. Wait time for main course was over 90 minutes. Some of the food was cold. Cordon Bleu was hard and dry. The price/performance ratio was not right. Never again.

We've been coming here for a long time, often just for a coffee; the staff is always attentive and friendly. The value for money is absolutely spot on. Keep up the good work!

Friendly service and nice outdoor area. Food tasty and nicely prepared. A visit feels a bit like a vacation :)

The service was competent and committed. The food is mostly regional, which I found very good. It was very tasty. Very good espresso.

As hotel guests we have half board and are absolutely thrilled with the service and the food (from the first to the fourth course)! Same with breakfast!

The restaurant is clean and stylishly decorated. Tables and chairs are old-fashioned and uncomfortable. I was there for business to eat, but privately I wouldn't go there. The service was overly committed and therefore almost intrusive. Which I can't stand, put a lot of pressure on me when ordering. The food would be okay for a small restaurant with moderate prices. I had pumpkin soup as a starter, which we didn't actually want and ended up eating. It was spicy but too thin and didn't taste like pumpkin enough. The main course was a cordon bleu with fries, no sauce, ketchup or tartar sauce, just cranberries. The fries were so bad that even I added salt to them. There wasn't one on the table and I didn't want to ask. Overall, I imagined the restaurant to be better.

After more than half an hour, the completely fatty veal roll arrived in the empty restaurant with a teaspoon of mashed potatoes and paper-thinly sliced ​​tasteless bread with ice-cold butter. Compared to before, it has fallen by three levels. No go!

Small portion of greasy food, very poor quality, waited over half an hour for the food even though it was empty and they didn't even come to meet us after we complained.

We were welcomed very nicely and received very good service at the table with a very tasty meal that was changed according to our wishes without any problems. It wasn't a problem that we were able to take our dog with us into the restaurant

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Eberhard Restaurant and overall my experience was very positive. The ambience was charming, the service attentive and the food mostly delicious. The staff was very friendly and is very attentive. The drink was poured into the glass at the table. This made the evening even more beautiful! However, I have one small point of criticism. The fries I ordered were a little too salty for my taste. It would be nice if the amount of salt could be reduced a little. I also found that the sauce for the melted Maultaschen had too smoky a taste. Here a milder note could improve the overall experience. Despite these minor comments, I would happily recommend Restaurant Eberhard as it offers an overall pleasant dining experience. I will definitely come back to try more of the diverse menu.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, tolles Essen und sehr zuvorkommendes Personal!!

Lieblos.. Weder das Schnitzel Wiener Art noch das Cordon blue haben uns überzeugen können. Das verwendete Schweinefleisch hat muffig geschmeckt. Die Pommes waren gut.

Ich bin sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich bedient worden. Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Empfehlung des Kellners waren auch sehr gut. Tolle Gartenterasse. Preislich eher gehoben. Aber es lohnt sich.

Das Kaffee ist gut. Restaurant kann ich nicht beurteilen.

Alles bestens nur zum Empfehlen

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist etwas alt aber sauber. Die Hauptbestandteile des Essens waren sehr lecker, die Beilagen haben noch Potential: Die Kroketten hatten eine dicke, trockene Rinde, die Bratkartoffeln waren lätschig, die Spätzle scheinen nicht selbst gemacht zu sein. Der Rostbraten war von der Garstufe her perfekt und zart.

Wir waren im Graf Eberhard zum Wellnesswochenende mit Halbpension. Der Service im Restaurant war prima und das Essen sowohl für Auge und Gaumen ein Genuss! Kann ich uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen, wenn man mit den etwas rustikalen Zimmern klar kommt ;-)

Leckeres Essen, hervorragender Service, genug Parkplätze und meistens gut besucht. Vielleicht ist es etwas teuer, aber heutzutage ist alles zu teuer, daher ...

Drei Abende, drei Essen. Immer lecker. 😋

Das Essen ist köstlich und das Personal herzlich und sehr kinderfreundlich. Wir waren an mehreren Abenden mit unserem einjährigen Sohn hier essen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und der Kleine sich sichtlich auch. Vielen Dank!

Man muss derzeit etwas warten. Personalmangel, so wurde mir gesagt. Aber es ging schnell, einen Tisch zu bekommen. Keine 5 Minuten. Lange nicht mehr habe ich so ein motiviertes Personal gesehen. Da macht es um so mehr Spaß im Cafe Eberhard eine Bestellung aufgeben. Den Eiscafe und den Apfelkuchen kann ich empfehlen. Für mehr blieb leider keine Zeit. Preislich ist es okay.
