Wirtshaus Krämer in Dortmund

On Saturday we celebrated my wife's 60th birthday with around 90 guests at the Krämer pub. It was an all-round successful evening that will remain in our memories for a long time. The team at Wirtshaus Krämer did a top job in every respect. The food in the form of a buffet was excellent and more than sufficient. The owner, Mr. Schulte, gave us very good advice in advance regarding the selection of dishes and drinks. The ambience and the set tables exceeded our expectations. I was there because I was looking for a place where I could eat in a relaxed manner after work and my goodness was I pleasantly surprised. This place appears inconspicuous on the outskirts of the city and impresses with its simple but great furnishings, great service and food that tastes really delicious, is not too expensive and comes in large portions. I can only recommend this great restaurant, full stars. When I'm out in the field again I'll definitely come back.

The ambience is quite nice, the location is of course great. Unfortunately, it's not really child-friendly there, no books or toys for children, the changing table is in the women's toilet, although there is space for it in the anteroom and you could change diapers there for any gender. The owner was also somehow a bit stressed... when all the walls are full of prices and reports about how great the place is, you probably need it. Unfortunately, I'm already skeptical. The food was a bit expensive but good, the portion was rather large.

You can eat very tasty here. The menu is clear, so not a hundred thousand dishes, but good. Very friendly and attentive staff. But the prices of the dishes are higher. Very nice restaurant but very difficult to reach without a car. It was winter now, so eating inside was only possible, otherwise it could be nice to eat outside with the noise of cars from the nearby A45.

Very nice restaurant in a quiet location. There are enough parking spaces available. Very tasty food, which was served quickly and professionally by the service staff. Price-performance ratio is also ok. Real recommendation.

Ich war auf einem Freitag da. Auf die Getränke und das Essen lange gewartet. Das Essen war lauwarm, wenig. Das Schnitzel sah aus wie ein Schweinerücken- Minutenschnitzel und wenig Soße. Sehr laff gewürzt. Für die Qualität zu teuer. Pommesbudenstyle...Hier zahlt man den Namen mit! Nie wieder

My wife and I were looking for a restaurant with German cuisine. We then came across the Krämer pub on the internet. Read reviews and drove there from Hamm today. If we could, we would give 10 out of 5 stars. Great atmosphere, service very attentive and friendly. The food is a real treat for the palate. We are glad that we chose Wirtshaus Krämer for Valentine's Day.

You can actually see it in the stars, I've never given away so much... It's worth it, it's a little more expensive, but worth the money. The chef is an artist! And the service, simply great, friendly and competent... The ambience is second to none, so tasteful, simply beautiful. And no, I am neither related nor do I work there 😅😉

Unfortunately the food, we had goose, was simply not good. Unfortunately for €40 it was a waste of money. The goose was dry, the sauce tasteless just like red cabbage and dumplings. The service was very good and the atmosphere was appealing.

We had lunch with you today. We have visited the beer garden several times and are always very satisfied. The service was very friendly and competent. If the food doesn't come straight away it's always a good sign. It was freshly prepared. Cozy restaurant with good food and service.

Breakfast was served on a cake stand. Everything was very tasty and fresh. You could also order scrambled eggs, which were also very tasty. Service was very friendly and attentive.

This place is an absolute gem in a rural part of Dortmund. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere and the service was very pleasant. I really enjoyed our meal and they even gave us a special treat as an appetizer. The dishes are expensive, but worth every penny. We will definitely come back in the future! Thank you for this great experience during our vacation.

We had a wonderful wedding celebration with very nice staff and a great atmosphere. Although there is no longer a wedding, there may be another celebration at this location.

We were at Wirtshaus Krämer for the first time today and were very pleasantly surprised by this great restaurant. Very friendly staff without exception and very tasty food. We chose sauerbraten and redfish and that was very tasty. There is also a good wine list. Al llegar a esta ubicación fuera del camino, quedaron impresionados por la simplicidad del patio acogedor. Después de un cálido saludo por parte del personal, se llevaron a una mesa en el acogedor comedor, modernamente rústico. Atento servidor tomó nuestra bebida y comida orden, regresando de una manera cómoda, oportuna. Las ofrendas de comida demostraron ser excelentemente preparadas, hechas a mano y no procesadas. Las comidas estaban bien cocinadas y muy sabroso - un verdadero placer. Los postres también fueron presentados creativamente, sabrosos, y también le dieron a la comida el acabado que se merecía.

I can only rate the food from a wedding there. Unfortunately the food wasn't really good, the bratwurst didn't taste good at all Shrimp skewers weren't seasoned in the slightest, the salads were from a large bucket from the subway. It's a shame about all the money my girlfriend spent there. I know the inn from my childhood and would have liked to go there again, but if you don't make an effort at a wedding, then you won't put any effort into the menu either

Very good service, nice atmosphere, but above all the food was great. The Wiener Schnitzel with the fried potatoes was very tasty, as was the chanterelle cream soup as a starter. The prices are absolutely appropriate for the quality. Gladly again!

Waiting 2 hours for food is the ultimate discipline in practicing patience. Whatever the reasons were for this (lack of staff, etc.), there was no information from the service staff that it might take longer, no "greetings from the kitchen" - nothing. The food itself was ok, but also there, due to a lack of staff, etc., certainly not the best performance. A pity.

Great party celebrated with very attentive service

We celebrated our birthdays there with 90 people. A beautiful ambience, attentive service and the taste of the food was perfectly balanced. The guests were very satisfied. We'd love to come back!

We celebrated my uncle's 70th birthday here. The buffet was very tasty, the staff is incredibly courteous and nice. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the house. There is also a small dance floor. All in all it was very comfortable.

The mustard soup was great. The burger is rather average. The vegetables in the noodles are almost raw and hard. Service nice and friendly. Will come back, just for other main courses.

Our visit to Wirthaus Krämer last March was great from start to finish! Chef Daniel surprised us with a great greeting from the kitchen (see photo). The main courses we ordered, Wiener Schnitzel and corn-fed chicken, were also excellent. Finally, there was baked vanilla ice cream for dessert. The service was attentive at all times and served us very well. We will come back in any case!

The absolute worst veal schnitzel with asparagus we have ever eaten. Then charge €38.90 for it. Every campsite is of better quality. After we gave the food back, the next plate came with the same quality. The size of the portion was another disgrace for the price. Instead of taking the whole thing off the bill, €122 was charged for two main courses with drinks.

A cozy restaurant with friendly staff and refined cuisine. The greeting from the kitchen makes you want more, the Easter menu with rack of lamb was perfectly prepared and imaginatively arranged. The chef absolutely knows his craft. We feel very comfortable here, despite the somewhat simple chairs. We would be happy to come back at any time.

Located somewhat hidden in a forest between Dortmund and Schwerte, this restaurant impresses with a modern-rustic ambience. The atmosphere is homely and dignified. I know many good restaurants, but in none of them did I receive such friendly service as I did here. A big compliment to the waitress who assisted us on the evening of March 28, 2024. The kitchen is also impressive. The schnitzels were simply outstanding. Thank you for the great evening. We would like to come again.

All in all very consistent! What bothered me was the bagged salad and the breading on the schnitzel! Still super tasty and absolutely cozy!

We recently celebrated a 90th birthday with 25 people at the Krämer inn. The welcome was very warm. A beautifully decorated and set table was prepared for us. Drink requests were received and delivered quickly. The food was served in a reasonable time and even at the same time, even though different dishes were ordered. It was a lovely evening, also thanks to the particularly attentive and friendly waitress (Peggy)!

Leider ein Reinfall. Es war nicht voll. 1 Stunde 10 zum Gruß aus der Küche, noch 10Minuten bis zur Vorspeise, dann nochmal über 1 Stunde bis zum Hauptgericht. Essen nur lauwarm. Ewig keine Bedienung. Als Entschuldigung immerhin ein Nachtisch, leider nur 2x für 4 Personen (??!). Einige Gerichte/Getränke waren nicht vorrätig. Geschmeckt hat‘s wenigstens…

We went to a birthday party at Wirtshaus Krämer and were very enthusiastic about the great food and the pleasant atmosphere. There were various main courses to choose from, I chose the redfish and it was very delicious, I liked the truffled potato salad best! The starter and dessert were also very successful! Thank you for the lovely and delicious evening, we would love to come back!

Last year we were there in the beer garden. Among other things, we ordered salad. The tomatoes were rotten. The wheat beer was served in dirty glasses. The service was slow and inattentive. Today we dared to try again. The service was very slow and incorrect drinks were delivered. The selection of cakes was very poor. Overall, we would not recommend the restaurant.

The food and service were excellent. The steaks were very tasty and can definitely be recommended. Just like the schnitzel and the burger. We were also very happy about the greeting from the kitchen.

The new chef Daniel Webels conjured up delicious steaks and desserts for us. We felt really comfortable at the Krämer Wirtshaus. The entire staff was courteous and very friendly. The only negative point is the lack of a wheelchair-accessible entrance.

After 1.5 hours the main course arrived, even though it wasn't full. The bread or the greeting from the kitchen??? have been forgotten. The mustard soup (yum) was unfortunately lukewarm. Bread with it would be great. A side dish request was forgotten - but charged for. The pulled pork burger (not exactly cheap) contained hardly any meat and was moderately warm. At the end, a cook came who was almost completely spattered and dirty and asked how we liked it and whether the bread didn't at least taste good???😳😳😳 Well, for over 100 euros for 2 people, it can be done much better elsewhere.

It's nice to be welcomed by a very nice and friendly service. This further enhances the already pleasant ambience. The food was great. The conversations with the waitress and the chef, including his tips, were very pleasant and entertaining. There are very few restaurants in our area with such a feel-good atmosphere - please keep it up :-)

The four of us had a lovely evening with great food. Beef tartare with wasabi mayonnaise, Wiener schnitzel, redfish, chicken and rump steak. Nice service, nice chef. Recommended.

The chef came several times to inquire in detail and to prepare the food accordingly. We thought that was great. The food was delicious, the new chef is really unbeatable. We felt comfortable all around, from the service to the food, everything was great. The price-performance ratio was good. We'd love to come back.

We really liked the revised menu during our visit yesterday - everything from “Krämer classics” to new creations and daily recommendations is there. The new chef Daniel knows his craft and impressed us with both the taste and the presentation of the dishes as well as the direct exchange. We would also like to highlight the newly introduced “Greetings from the Kitchen” - this is how modern and creative gastronomy works. Finally, it should of course be mentioned that the service staff is always friendly, attentive and quick. We'd love to come back!

It was our first time there, but we'll definitely be back. The food was delicious, friendly, attentive service, a cozy atmosphere and the dogs weren't a problem either. The only thing we were missing was lighting in the parking spaces in front of the house. The road is well traveled, but in bad weather in the dark this can be problematic.

I have often passed the Krämer inn on my hikes through the Wannebachtal. After many enthusiastic recommendations, today was the day and we were guests for the first time on my birthday. What can I say. We are excited. Very casual, friendly staff, a very stylish ambience and the food led by chef Daniel Webels is a culinary fireworks display for all the senses. A real experience and a wonderful end to my birthday. Thank you for that.

We had T-bone steak for 2, sauerbraten and beef roulade, everything was very good, as was the chocolate cake for dessert. The service was very friendly, personable and attentive. The prices aren't special, but the food is worth it. All in all a very nice evening, we will repeat it.

Tolles Ambiente, sehr nettes Personal und gute Portionen! Leider waren meine Schnitzel insgesamt hart (nicht zäh, einfach hart), zudem schienen sie frittiert und nicht gebraten worden zu sein. Vorspeise hingegen war mega lecker, Schnitzel würde ich nicht nochmal bestellen. Dennoch werden wir wieder hingehen!

Im Internet nach mal wieder einem leckeren Frühstück gegoogelt und auf das Wirtshaus Krämer gestoßen ( und wir hatten lange nicht mehr so lecker gefrühstückt!) Wunderschöne Gegend ,am Waldesrande wo man gerne einen Fensterplatz 🤪haben möchte! Sehr netter Service und beim Frühstück keine Wünsche offen ! Das Frühstück für 2 war sehr reichlich gedeckt mit tollen Sachen( Fenchelsalami, rohen Schinken,Kochschinken, Camembert, Käse, quark, Marmelade selbstgemacht,Lachs,gekochte Eier und ein Obstsalat ,richtig toll! Das Rührei war genau richtig toll im Geschmack und pfuffig und der Bacon auf dem Punkt getroffen! Vielen Dank für das tolle ,liebevolle und geschmackvolle Frühstück wir haben wirklich schon lange nicht mehr so gut irgendwo gegessen. Und noch einen extra 🌟 für Sie ,das es auch Hafermilch Latte gibt! Wir kommen gerne wieder Vielen Dank

Leider leider… ich war zuvor schon ein paar Mal da und es war immer top. Dieses Mal, ein regnerischer Sonntag, war aber ein Reinfall. Unwirsches Personal, dem wir offensichtlich mit 2 Kindern zu lästig waren, obwohl wir klar kommunizierten, dass wir nur schnell zu Mittag essen wollen. Kleine Karte, leider überhaupt nichts ansprechendes zu finden. Wir entschieden uns deshalb nur für einen Hauptgang und ein Kindergericht. Die ersten Getränke waren noch ok, zum Essen dauerte es trotz mehrfachen bitten hin, über 1h und Getränke wurden auch nicht abgefragt. Völlige Ignoranz die ganze Zeit. Ambiente lieblos und kühl. Endlich kamen die Nuggets, 15 min später der Hauptgang. Lauwarm, nicht ansprechend. Auf Nachfrage an der Bar endlich weitere Getränke. Beim raschen bezahlen danach nicht ein Wort der Entschuldigung oder Rechtfertigung. Fazit: sonntags im Herbst nicht wieder

Schönes Wirtshaus, ruhig gelegen. Hier gibt es leckere deftige Küche.

leckeres essen, Großer Salat vom Wochenmarkt mit Garnelen, war sehr lecker preis/leistung war ok „Wirtshaus Schnitzel“ Paniertes Schnitzel vom Landschwein an Champignons à la crème – Pommes frites – Beilagensalat der auch sehr lecker und reichhaltig war. preis/leistung sehr gut sehr höfliches personal

Das Lokal ist wunderschön an einer Anhöhe am Waldrand gelegen. Man merkt gar nicht mehr, dass man sich eigentlich in Dortmund befindet. Das Lokal ist schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen völlig ok. Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auch. Genügend kostenfreie Parkplätze sind auch vorhanden. Das Lokal kann ich mit gutem Gewissen Empfehlen.

Tolles Lokal, nette Bedienung und super Essen. ABER dann bin ich auf die Herrentoilette gegangen. Absolute Bahnhofstoilette !! Es kann ja ruhig etwas altbacken sein, wenn es wenigstens sauber ist. Hier aber Spinnweben überall und nicht erst seit gestern. Verschimmelte Fliesenfugen und verschmutzte Wände. Das ist des Lokal absolut unwürdig. Wären wir vor dem Essen auf der Toilette gewesen, hätten wir das Lokal schon vorher wieder verlassen. Hier muss was passieren, dann kommen wir auch wieder. PS: Es war das erste mal, dass ich Bilder von einer Toilette gemacht habe, so geschockt war ich.
