Very nice rooms, very nice service and good breakfast 👍🏻 Highly recommended. Was here for the first time as part of an association event and was really satisfied!

Nice employees. Good breakfast (except for the coffee…). Room: The room itself was clean but honestly it doesn't feel like 4 star. Great little TV. The shower feels like it's falling apart. The shower head is leaking and spraying in all directions. Bed was at least comfortable. It was quiet too.

The food was great. I was there for a training course, so no information about the room. I would have appreciated small trash cans by the coffee machine and a place to store used dishes. And bread rolls left in the sun for hours (even refrigerated) – hey, you can do better than that. They didn't look very appetizing.

A very nice hotel, with excellent food and friendly, professional staff. Its location directly on the B1 highway is both a blessing and a curse. Very easy to reach, but there's constant traffic noise, and the B1 isn't very pleasant either.

I stayed at the Parkhotel Wittekindshof on business. The service was excellent, and the receptionist, Ms. Dilek, was very friendly and helpful. The parking lot was next to the hotel, with plenty of free spaces.

I stayed at the hotel on November 2024, and my choice in January 2025 was again for this hotel. The receptionist Ms. Dilek Herold was caring, sincere and friendly. The rooms are quite large and spacious compared to hotel rooms in the region. The staff is friendly and sincere. I definitely recommend it.

The hotel is located directly on a federal highway. The building from 1983 is in the style of an old farm. Countless old pictures of horses underline this. The rooms are well furnished and don't seem too rustic. The mattress and blanket were comfortable and the air conditioning was very precise. The design of how the light switches work is still a mystery to me. If you lie on the left side of the bed, you have no chance of turning off your own light without getting up. The service is very friendly and present. A coffee maker in the room and a rich breakfast round off the impression.

From the moment of the viewing we were accompanied by Ms. Taheri, who immediately gave us the feeling that we were in the best hands with her warm and professional manner. She was not only our contact person, but also our unsung hero in the background, ensuring that all other service providers worked together smoothly on the day of the celebration. The food and drinks were of the highest quality - our guests were thrilled with the selection and taste. The service staff was incredibly attentive, friendly and professional, making everyone feel completely comfortable. It was the many little details that made this evening so special. We were particularly touched when we found parts of our wedding decorations lovingly placed on our breakfast table the next morning - a wonderful gesture! We are overjoyed with our decision to choose the Parkhotel Wittekindshof for our special day. Ms. Taheri and the entire team made it possible for us to have an unforgettable celebration. Close to a tram station, but also close to a busy road. I had a room to the park side, no nose problems there. Tidy and clean rooms. Didn't check any of the amenities, just went there for sleep and breakfast. Breakfast (including the coffee) was good. There's a restaurant on premises which I didn't check. You might find cheaper hotels nearby. My colleagues who spent some nights in these other hotels were somewhat less enthusiastic about their experience.

They charged us even though you were not staying in the room. I came for business and had to make a sudden decision to leave. They got the fee. breakfast and comfort were very bad. We were not satisfied at all

The food was disappointing: Cake mediocre Starters mostly tasteless Fish: Salmon okay Meat: Dry pork fillet, good roast beef, but the sauces for both types of meat were tasteless.

The hotel looks very good from the outside, but from the inside it seems a bit old. I found it unusual to ask for a €10 deposit for a second room card. Our room was fine, as you would expect from a 4 star hotel (except for the loudspeaker in the bathroom, which scratches very loudly and cannot be switched off). My negative highlight, however, was the breakfast... the selection of drinks was more than limited Sausage, but well, pictures say louder than words. In short it was ok but not worth the money. We won't come back.

A nice hotel which is located next to a main road. Fortunately the rooms are well insulated, you hear nothing of the traffic that rushes by. Furthermore, the hotel has a reasonable breakfast, there is a lot available. In addition, the hotel has a different decoration in some places which is a bit old-fashioned. But the beds in the rooms are very nice and the shower is clean and there are 2 types of towels. There is also a hair dryer available.

The room for three people was clean and comfortably furnished. The location of the hotel is excellent and there is convenient parking in front of the hotel. I hope that on the next trip to Dortmund, we will get a nice room in the hotel again.

The hotel and the room itself are very nice. Also worth mentioning is that you can park for free. Unfortunately there was a wedding celebration that day and we got the room right above the hall, even though we had a small child with us. Unfortunately we couldn't sleep at all that night because of the noise, so the staff should be more careful and get another room with a small child

The Parkhotel is a great location. The service is good. Now you can say that the ambiuin is getting old. Yes. But... It has a certain charm. The hotel scores with service and a nice outdoor area at the back. Very very tasty food and last but not least: a very good parking situation... Right in the middle of the city. I have nothing to complain about

The room was nice and clean. We even had a small smoking balcony with an ashtray. You could order breakfast to your room. The BvB flags were flying in front of the hotel 🤩 It was quiet and there was parking available right in front of the hotel. Thank you for the lovely stay 👍

Great place, good food, welcoming service

We (young family) were allowed to be guests at the Wittenkindshof at the beginning of April. Check-in was quick and very friendly. Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed (baby bed, space for our suitcases, kettle, etc.). It was very clean. We also had dinner in the in-house restaurant and enjoyed it to the fullest. ALL (here I really mean all) of the service staff were very courteous, friendly, competent and very understanding (they came with a 1-year-old child who doesn't really like to sit down yet or can really eat well). The food was first class. The mouth swaps are highly recommended. We will certainly be guests in this beautiful hotel again on our next visit to Dortmund.

I stayed at the Parkhotel Wittekindshof for business purposes. The hotel is located directly on a main road with plenty of parking spaces in front of the door. The service is very friendly, unfortunately I had a room facing the street. It was incredibly loud and bright in the room. Both of these would be easily remedied by the hotel management. The nights would be extremely bad due to the bright room and the traffic noise.

I can confirm that the hotel has successfully weathered the pandemic and other challenges. Although I was never a guest, I was involved in the new building behind the hotel. The hotel and the surrounding area make a well-kept impression.

We only went for breakfast as guests. We weren't hotel guests. The breakfast service was very attentive and the rich buffet left nothing to be desired. Great value for money. Always happy🫶

Nice hotel with charm. Was there as an overnight guest and as a participant in a workshop. The service was very good, the employees were very friendly and helpful. I didn't eat breakfast, but I did have lunch as a buffet and as a 3-course menu. Food tasted good. The location right on the B1 is good, but can only be reached from one direction.

Banquet with 55 people, the agreements made in advance were only partially fulfilled. For many participants, the soup served was only lukewarm, the accompanying bread was served upon request after the soup had been cleared away, the sandwiches (a small half for 5.20) unfortunately did not meet the agreement, coffee pots were replaced even though the existing pot was not yet empty was, a portion of gluten-free food was ordered in advance, quality was not convincing. Overall a poor price-performance ratio. After contacting Wittekindshof and addressing the complaints, there was a price reduction of 2.06%! What remains is dissatisfaction among many guests and no insight and very limited accommodation from the people involved at the Wittekindshof.

Always great food and great service. I'm always happy to be here again. :)

Expectations absolutely met, not a typical business hotel

A very good restaurant! The service was top class and there were no complaints about the food either.

10 minutes from the trade fair by taxi. The 24 hour CHECKin made our visit much easier, the room was clean and comfortably furnished and the breakfast was plentiful with a surprising selection of fresh bakery rolls. Located directly on Westfalendamm, you still have peace and quiet and don't have to miss out on anything. CLASS!

Top Location, auch mit sehr gutem Essen!

Eindruck und Karte, auch die Preise, lassen auf gehobenen Standard schließen, leider enttäuscht das Essen. Zähes Rehragout, verbrannte und geschmacksarme Pommes, halb roher (nicht rosa) Rehrücken. Wir hatten da definitiv mit etwas anderem gerechnet. Wiederholung unwahrscheinlich.

Ich bin mehrfach in diesem schönen Hotel gewesen . Daher kenne ich die Speisekarte sehr gut 👌Immer tolles Essen , klasse Buffet netter Empfang !! Komplettes Servicepersonal auch am Abend an der Bar ist Mega nett!! Zimmer super sauber !!! Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Aufenthalt. Lg aus Köln

Nettes Personal und gutes Essen.

Hatten eine schöne Übernachtung hier im Hotel. Wir konnten die Sauna nutzen und hatten am Morgen ein leckeres Frühstück. Die Zimmer sind schön und geräumig. Der Service war freundlich.

Ein gelungener Weihnachts "LUNCH" hat mir sehr gut gefallen, mit den angebotenen Speisen war ich sehr zufrieden. Fünf Sterne konnte ich leider nicht geben, wegen die überhöhten Mineralwasser Preise. 9,00 € für eine 0,75 l Selters-Wasser. Ich kenne den Gastronomie- Einkaufspreis, deshalb finde ich es total unverschämt. Wenn ich mit dem PKW Anreise, kann und trinke ich nur Mineralwasser.

Wir waren vom 1. bis zum 2ten Weihnachtstag hier zu Gast. Der Empfang beim Check in, sowie auch beim Check out war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Hotel macht einen sehr gemütlichen und insgesamt einen hochwertigen und gepflegten Eindruck. Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Mit Safe, Minibar, Snacks auf dem Zimmer, eine Flasche Mineralwasser als Willkommensgruß. Das Badezimmer war sehr komfortabel. Das Frühstücksbuffet war schmackhaft und reichlich. Etwas gibt es was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat, die Matratzen waren für uns (mit Rücken- und Hüftproblemen) leider zu weich, jedoch ist das nur unsere persönliche Meinung. Trotzdem würden wir das Hotel jederzeit wieder aufsuchen und können es jedem empfehlen.

Ich kann dieses Hotel jedem wärmstens empfehlen. Das gesamte Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, Herr Menke betreut die Gäste im Restaurant mit erfrischendem Humor. Das Essen ist erstklassige und die Tagungsräume sind gut ausgestattet!

Der Lack ist ab. Einst das 1. Haus am Platz, jetzt leider unter ferner liefen. Grosse, wertig ausgestattete Zimmer mit undichten Fenstern und lächerlich kleinem Bad. Frühstück auf H.I. Express Niveau. Check-out ist um 11.00, um 11.10 ruft die Rezeption mit der Bitte um Auszug an. Der ungepflegt wirkende Rezeptionist im schmuddeligen Fussballtrikot (geht auch in DO nicht, nicht in einem 4-Sterne Hotel) wirkt eher wie der Hsusmeister, der aus Versehen hinterm Tresen steht. Zum Glück hat DO mittlerweile eine genügend grosse Auswahl an guten und besseren Hotels.

Das Parkhotel Wittekindshof ist ein sehr schönes gut gepflegtes und freundlich geführtes Hotel. Es bietet alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Buffet ist großartig. Schön ist auch dass man hier Säle mieten kann um zu feiern, was für Hotelgäste aber nicht so gut ist: Wenn man ein Zimmer direkt oberhalb der Partyräume hat, kann man schön mitfeiern. Daher gab es von mir ab Mitternacht einen Minuspunkt. Als die Situation sich um halb zwei immer noch nicht geändert hatte, entschied ich mich, zwei Punkte abzuziehen. Wenn ich die ganze Nacht laute Musik gewünscht hätte, hätte ich mir auch eine billige Absteige irgendwo am Bahnhof nehmen können. Ohne Ohrstöpsel hätte ich in dieser Nacht überhaupt nicht geschlafen.

Moderne saubere Zimmer mit einzigartigen Charme. Das Frühstück sollte jedoch dringend um vegane Optionen erweitert werden.

Wir waren schon öfter hier und es ist immer ein Genuss. Das Personal ist mega aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Essen immer hervorragend! Und gar nicht so teuer wie man denkt. Wir können es nur empfehlen! Immer wieder gerne!

Eine tolles Tagungshotel! Vielen Dank an das ganze Team vom Wittekindhof. Im Rahmen einer Halbtagsveranstaltung haben wir am Sonntagmorgen hier 30 Menschen begrüßen können. Das Hotel hat alles unternommen, dass sich alle Teilnehmer begeistert über die Location, den Service und vor allem über das Essen geäußert haben. Absolut Empfehlenswert, von der Kommunikation vor der Buchung bis zur Abwicklung erstklassig.

Mein Mann und ich haben im Hotel Wittekindshof unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und es war ein absoluter Traum 🥰 das Essen war durchweg perfekt, ALLES hat geschmeckt, der Service war so flott und hilfsbereit, gleichzeitig auch extrem freundlich! 😊 die Location war einfach wunderschön und man hat sich dabei sehr viel Mühe gegeben dass wir den Raum nach unseren Vorstellungen gestalten konnten. Die Getränke waren ebenfalls exquisit und man hatte nie lange ein leeres Glas stehen. Danke an das gesamte Team, welches uns am 11./12. und 13. August begleitet hat!! 🙏🏼☺️🎉

Man fühlt sich wirklich gut behandelt. Das Personal ist so freundlich. Immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Und das Essen war so toll. Ich schwärme immer noch vom Essen. Es war geschmacklich einfach eine Wucht. Meine größten Komplimente gehen an die Köche in der Küche. Bravo!

Wir haben dort unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Ich muss gestehen es war alles wunderschön. Personal sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. All unsere Wünsche würde erfüllt. Besser hätten wir es nicht vorstellen können. Für uns eine Traumlocation. Essen war sehr lecker. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder. Wir können es wirklich weiter empfehlen

Ich war mit meinem Aufenthalt im Hotel sehr zufrieden. Mein Zimmer war wirklich sehr sauber und gemütlich, man hat wirklich alles, was man braucht. Das Essen hat zum größten Teil auch wirklich gut geschmeckt, das Personal im Restaurant wirkt etwas zurückhaltend, abert trotzdrm sehr kundenorientiert. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man hat auch die Gelegenheit draußen zu sitzen und was zu essen, das Gelände ist gepflegt und ruhig. Das Hotel befindet sich neben einer Hauptstraße, daher war es Nachts manchmal etwas laut. Das Hotel verfügt über kostenlose Parkplätze, nebenan ist ein Arzt, Apotheke, Sparkasse und Tankstelle.

Wir bedanken uns, dass unsere Geburtstagsfeier so gut durch Sie und Ihr Team organisiert und betreut wurde. Es gibt nichts negatives! Ganz im Gegenteil. Es war für uns und insbesondere für mich ein außerordentlich besonderes Erlebnis. Ihr Team war stets präsent, sehr aufmerksam. Alles hat zur vollsten Zufriedenheit geklappt und der gesamte Ablauf war hervorragend abgestimmt und umgesetzt. Und die Speisen vom Buffett waren ein absoluter Genuss und so habe ich auch schon an dem Tag sehr gerne unsere Begeisterung mit Ihrem Team geteilt. Die Bewertung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf den Eventservice. Die B1 ist im Salon nur zu sehen und überhaupt nicht zu hören.

Zimmer im tadellosem Zustand, sauber und zweckmäßig. Leider war es etwas zu warm und da die Straße quasi am Bett vorbei rausch, konnte man das Fenster in der Nacht nicht öffnen. Personal ist sehr freundlich soweit ich mit den Mitarbeiter*innen von der Raumpflegerin über den Service und Rezeption gesprochen habe. Frühstück und Mittagessen hatten wir vom Buffet und es war sehr gut da findet jeder etwas, das Roastbeef war der Hammer Ein wenig störend ist die fehlende Hotelbar und die Preise der Getränke oder im Restaurant, aber bei den aktuellen Energie und Einkaufskosten muss man da einfach drüber hinweg sehen. Ich freue mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch

Bei unserem Stammtisch immer guter Service

Ausgewählt hat das Hotel ein Kollege wegen der räumlichen Nähe zum Kunden. Von außen sehr gepflegt aber baulich 70er-Jahre-Charme. Parkplätze am Haus kein Problem. Und dann: Professioneller Empfang, zügiger Checkin, schönes Zimmer, alles renoviert, stimmig und hochwertig ausgestattet, bspw. Granit im Badezimmer. Fast schon 5-Sterne-Niveau.

Die Bewertung bezieht sich lediglich auf das Restaurant und nicht auf das Hotel. Leider auch hier: Ambitionierte Preise, wenig auf dem Teller. Sehr übersichtliche Speisekarte. Qualität allenfalls Durchschnitt. Bemühtes Personal, vermutlich jedoch unterbesetzt. Lange Wartezeit auf das Essen. Gehobenes 80er-Jahre Ambiente.

Bin dort meist nur zu Firmenbesprechungen, und damit im Servicebereich. Personal ist aber immer freundlich und parken ist in der Regel für die kurze Zeit problemlos. Für diesen Service gibts 5 Sterne.

Zimmer sehr sauber und top renoviert - den Stil muss man mögen - passt aber zum äußerlichen Charm der Achtziger. Das komplette Fehlen einer Hotelbar führte zu Hilflosigkeit bei den Mitarbeitern im Bezug auf das Servieren von Getränken. Frühstück normaler Standard.

Von berufswegen 2 Nächte hier übernachtet. Erstmal dachte ich, oh no, als ich das Gebäude von aussen an einer 4 spurigen Straße gesehen habe. Auch innen war es bei meiner Ankunft Sonntagabend sehr sehr ruhig. Kein Mensch weit und breit außer dem Empfang. Auf Nachfragen für ein gezapftes Bier, verwies man mich auf 2 Flaschen Bier im Zimmerkühlschrank. Im Zimmer angekommen, alles sauber, praktisch und optimiert. Zum schlafen und duschen völlig ausreichend. Das Frühstück war üppig und gut. Service war in Ordnung. Das Restaurant und die Küche abends waren sehr gut. Alles in allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Lage zum Erreichen top, zum schlafen leider direkt an der lauten Straße.. Essen teils top, teils nicht so. A la carte zu empfehlen. Service spitze, total nette und aufmerksame Mädels, macht weiter so, davon lebt das Hotel 👍👍👍

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im Parkhotel Wittekindshof gefeiert und waren begeistert. Von der Organisation, über unsere "Extrawünsche" beim Buffet, hin zum Service, war alles perfekt. Das Essen war sehr gut! Leckere vegetarische Schnitzel wurden auch auf Anfrage für uns zubereitet. Das Dekorieren am Vorabend sowie eine besondere Tischordnung waren kein Problem. Musik über unsere mitgebrachten Soundboxen haben eine super Akkustik ergeben. Draußen auf der Terrasse gab es sehr moderne und bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten. Wir würden es genau so wieder machen! Vielen lieben Dank!

Ich war für eine Nacht mit meinen 3 Geschwistern in diesem tollen Hotel. Das besondere an diesem Hotel ist, die Freundlichkeit des Personals, der Restaurantleiter war sehr bemüht unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Auch der Frühstücksservice war einfach klasse, sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich und eben auch sehr bemüht unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Man merkt eben, dass das Personal dort gerne arbeitet., wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit bei Ihnen. Weiter so. Vielen Dank an alle.

Das Hotel ist einfach wunderbar. Wir sind total begeistert. Das ganze Personal ist sehr freundlich hilfsbereit und nett. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Auch wenn es an einer Hauptstraße liegt, hört nix von draußen. Die Entspannung ist garantiert. Zum Frühstück gibt es ein reichhaltiges Buffet was keine Wünsche offen lässt.
