No. We were there yesterday and today. Bad service. The staff apparently didn't want to serve us. Yesterday we got drinks after 30 minutes, so we decided not to eat. Today was our second attempt. When no service staff appeared after 20 minutes, we left. The same dilemma happened at neighboring tables.

After many hours, the droning music was a bit distracting, but otherwise we were thrilled!

I found this inn incredibly good and can absolutely recommend it. We were on a short trip to Regensburg – a very beautiful town, by the way, with its beautiful cathedral. The Wirtshaus im Heuport is located directly across from the cathedral. I first noticed it...we were visiting the cathedral and needed to use the restroom. I walked over from the cathedral and asked the young man serving if there was a restroom there. Absolutely no problem at all. There's outdoor seating with a view of the cathedral – that was very nice, but then you go through an archway, which gave me the first wow factor. The entire courtyard was filled with seating, fairy lights everywhere – although they were all off, since it was bright as day – a bar (in the middle of the courtyard). The restroom was up a large, solid, and sturdy, yet creaking staircase, and there were lots of lanterns in the entrance area. That alone really, really appealed to me. The restrooms were very clean, everything was really fine. You have to keep in mind that due to the location, many people go to the restroom there – there was a sign saying it costs €1 for non-guests – but there was nowhere or anyone to put it or give it to. I would have definitely paid €2. The next day – our last evening – I really wanted to eat there. And I'm very glad we were there and ate there. At first, we just sat and had a drink and enjoyed the view of the cathedral. At some point, it got dark, and all the lights in the courtyard came on...it was really, really beautiful. The ambiance alone was worth seeing, and you felt very comfortable. At some point, we wanted to eat, and we had both already chosen something when the young man (the waitress) came and brought the order to the next table. We both looked at each other, immediately reconsidered our order, and ordered what the man at the next table had. The snack board for €17.90. Everything was delicious, everything fresh – really, really good. We only ordered one for the two of us, and it was more than enough. All in all, we were really impressed. The prices were absolutely reasonable and affordable, the restrooms were clean, and the staff – all very young and all incredibly friendly – ​​were all incredibly friendly. The ambiance – just outside blew me away, and what you could see of the interior was also very appealing, and I think it's quite spacious. So, definitely worth a visit, and we can recommend it wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly.

We went there for dinner in the evening. The food was very good, the service very friendly. The evening was above average. The next day we went back for happy hour to order a drink... to be precise, 5 minutes before the start of happy hour. When asked if we could order with the happy hour tax, the answer was: "Of course." Unfortunately, the bill was the regular price. When asked why: The service was absolutely incompetent. Moody and unfriendly... nothing can be done about it now... the confirmation at the bar. A shrug. We went somewhere else to eat that evening... across the street. Highly recommended. What a shame.

Nice place near the cathedral, but a bit noisy. Beer while standing is very cheap.

Stopped by for coffee and dessert. Got coffee, but had to wait 20 minutes for dessert and by then the coffee was cold. When dessert came we only got one portion, while we had ordered two. It was still very good! Waitress asked if she should add a tip to the price, I declined - tips are compensation for extra good service.

A restaurant with a feel-good factor! A very nice outdoor area (thanks to the perfect weather, the indoor area was closed today), delicious food, and, above all, extremely friendly service! A children's menu and a veggie/vegan menu are available. We were very satisfied 👍🏼

Very beautiful location, right in front of St. Peter's Cathedral. We had lunch there because the cathedral was open to visitors from 1:00 PM; a lovely, spacious courtyard. Good food; friendly staff.

There were seven of us for lunch on a Saturday. The location was good, the service was good, but the food was not good. The fish was extremely dry, and the fries (and I've never experienced anything like it) were probably from the day before and had been refried. That can't be right.

A rich roast with a single potato dumpling, a tender roulade with apple-red cabbage, and lukewarm spaetzle. Service was okay.

No, I can't recommend it. I wanted to have a quick snack at the inn with my wife and two friends around lunchtime. I ordered the white sausages with pretzels, which were served cold and didn't live up to what you'd expect from a good white sausage. My wife ordered potato soup with bacon, which was also served cold and didn't live up to what was advertised on the menu. There was no bacon. My friends and I will definitely never return here. A very disappointed guest.

Food took around one hour to arrive after ordering, basic food that in other places would've been done in maximum 30 minutes. Food was stale and almost cold . The waiter was nice and polite and location is very nice but unfortunately food was a huge let down.

Four of us ate a variety of dishes there, and everything was delicious. The service was very friendly, and the dining room was beautifully decorated. We had a direct view of the cathedral. We definitely recommend it.

We were looking forward to a cozy meal in a typical Bavarian restaurant. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Cold chairs and tables in the drafty passageway, overwhelmed staff, and cold food spoiled our enjoyment of this restaurant. The portions are also very modest for the price. The only positive experience was the very attentive waitress who brought us an espresso as compensation.

The restaurant is characterized by its total unreliability! We weren't given the reserved and promised table, even though the entire room was empty. We made a reservation for 7:30 p.m., and the kitchen closed at 7:50 p.m. The excellent waiter still managed to organize something for us. The chef's desire to cook again was evident in the quality and preparation of the food. The manager hid upstairs and wasn't willing to make any statement. If it weren't for the waiter, we would have enjoyed our meal! A typical tourist trap! Definitely not a second visit!

My wife and I ate bratwurst with sauerkraut and drank a nice beer there. It tasted good. The service was very friendly and helpful.

Our reservation for a large group was made months in advance – yet it was completely botched. Tables were pushed together outside at short notice. After ordering drinks, we were suddenly told the kitchen was already closed – without any prior notice. After 1.5-2 hours, we received cold, sometimes incorrect food. Total chaos due to organizational deficiencies and unprofessional management.

The restaurant is located right next to the cathedral. The restaurant is very nice and clean. The waiters were very friendly. We went there twice because it was the only dish my husband could get there. It tasted good. The first time, some components of his meal were missing, and mine was cold and very dry. It was promptly returned, and I received a new one, unfortunately just as cold and dry. I went home hungry that evening. Two days later, I ordered a dish that I hoped would be better. Unfortunately, that was a misconception. The sausages were very dry. This restaurant has the "Cathedral" bonus, and you can tell by the unfortunately rather "lazy" kitchen staff. The guests still come.

We had the pleasure of being invited to a wedding at the Heuport Inn and were absolutely thrilled! From start to finish, it was a thoroughly successful celebration, to which the Heuport team contributed significantly. We would particularly like to highlight the excellent service. The staff was always attentive, friendly, and professional. Every request was quickly fulfilled, and we felt well looked after throughout the entire evening. The food was also simply delicious. From the appetizers to the dessert, everything was excellently prepared and a delight to taste. The quality of the food was top-notch, and the portions were more than ample. The beverage selection was also excellent. There was a wide range of high-quality drinks that perfectly suited the occasion and left nothing to be desired. Overall, our visit to the Heuport Inn was a complete success. We can wholeheartedly recommend this venue for weddings or other celebrations. A big thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable evening!

Great atmosphere, great service, and the food was also very good. Vegetarian baked celery, a knuckle of pork with beer sauce, and fries instead of dumplings. A small criticism: the extra €1 for swapping dumplings for fries is unnecessary, and the knuckle could have been crispier on the outside.

The environment is very nice, but in good weather you can only sit on the terrace. It's a shame, because sitting even in summer by the open windows with a view of the House is definitely an experience. The food is delicious and served on nice service, but the wait for it is quite long, even if there are not many customers. I was a little bothered that the waiter was wearing slightly dirty clothes, they should pay more attention to that. We also had dirty plates in front of us more than 20 minutes after eating. The restaurant has much more potential than I had the impression of it during my last visit.

The Wirtshaus im Heuport impresses with its charming ambiance in a historic building right on the Domplatz. You can sit inside or outside – perfect for enjoying the atmosphere of the old town. The menu offers classic Bavarian dishes, from pork knuckle to smaller delicacies like bratwurst with sauerkraut and crispy crusty bread. Everything was fresh and delicious. I was particularly impressed by the service: friendly, attentive, and quick. The waiter checked several times to make sure everything was okay – you really feel welcome. A place I would happily recommend if you want to eat well and feel good in Regensburg!

Hello, I've eaten at this restaurant many times because the food and drinks are truly excellent and the atmosphere is very pleasant. However, I had an unpleasant experience with a woman named Luisa—she had a nose piercing. I couldn't understand her.

In the heart of Regensburg, truly delicious Bavarian cuisine is served at a very good price-performance ratio. Exceptionally friendly and attentive service.

Wonderful place with great ambience and seating capacity. They can easily manage 2 or 3 events along with the normal servings. The place has seatings both on the ground floor and a vast area of seating with beautiful interiors in the first floor walking through the vintage wooden staircase. This seems to be an old vintage place maintained well with modern design elements. Love to take my friends sometime later.

The people who work there have no idea what the word "hospitality" means. We, two families, made ourselves comfortable and watched for 20 minutes as the waiters just walked back and forth, ignoring us. After 20 minutes, a waitress came over and simply told us that it would be better if we could go somewhere else to eat. And why? Because she didn't know when she could serve us, and the whole thing would take even longer. And when we asked her why she left us sitting there and why she only let us know after 20 minutes, she simply left. The worst experience of our trip to Regensburg. A real shame.

A rustic inn next to the cathedral with everything you'd expect from a Bavarian inn. Prices as you'd expect from a restaurant in a touristy area. The roast pork was already a bit cold when it reached me. The taste was okay, but not like my homemade pork with dark beer sauce.

As beautifully located as it is, directly across from the cathedral, it's also a meeting point for city tours, and you're surrounded by waiting tourists. The service is very slow; you have to be very patient (20 minutes to order, 30 minutes for the food to arrive, and 20 minutes to pay). The food was excellent and good value for money.

I have never seen worst service

The Wirtshaus im Heuport is not only an impressive wedding venue right next to Regensburg Cathedral, but for me, it's also a place run with genuine warmth. As a wedding photographer, I've had the privilege of accompanying several celebrations here, and I'm always impressed. The large, beautifully decorated hall offers ample space for large and small parties and impresses with its open, festive atmosphere. The view of the Cathedral Square is truly special and ensures unforgettable moments. A separate bar in the basement and a small outdoor area make the (champagne) reception flexible and relaxed. The cuisine is traditional Bavarian, diverse, and consistently delicious. There's a wide selection of dishes, including vegetarian options that are creative, delicious, and prepared with love. The service team, led by Bernhard, is accommodating, warm, and absolutely professional. You can feel their many years of experience and their commitment to making every celebration special. What sets the Wirtshaus im Heuport apart for me personally is their "We make it happen" mentality. Whether it's a wedding or a social project, the team supports it with commitment, openness, and genuine energy. That's why writing this review is a matter close to my heart. For all couples looking to celebrate in style, centrally located, and with authentic Bavarian flair, as well as for anyone else with an appetite for traditional cuisine, the Wirtshaus im Heuport is a fantastic choice. The Wirthaus Heuport has a fantastic location, right next to the cathedral, and has been beautifully renovated. The herb dumplings were delicious, and the service was truly attentive! We'd love to come back.

Good location, but the food is very average. The cheese spaetzle is drenched in cream, the salad is limp and uninspired. The beer sauce was good.

The restaurant is very centrally located with a view of the cathedral, which is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, the service is completely subpar. The food is only lukewarm, and you have to be patient before you can order. Plates and worn glasses from the tables are piled up at the bar. Once, never again.

The restaurant upstairs was very nice. Very good Bavarian cuisine. Very good dark wheat beer. Service was very friendly. I was here on a Sunday at 6:00 PM and it was very quiet. There's plenty of space both inside and outside.

The asparagus we had on May 30, 2025, looked and tasted like it came from a jar. Six small, thin, overcooked asparagus spears with mushy potatoes for €20 is a complete disgrace. Two small Regensburger sausages, which you can get at a discount store for €5.50, are just as outrageous.

Food very good again. If you sit outside you have to take some time with you, but everything is within reason.

Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time for our drinks and our food, 2 vegetarian + 1 vegan dish were unfortunately too expensive for the portion size, empty drink glasses were ignored.

We ate there on April 28, 2025. The table next door ordered pork knuckles, which I took inspiration from. Very tasty in terms of taste. But lukewarm. Also at the neighboring table, who also complained to the staff. Instead of proactively asking me whether my food was cold, I asked for it when I paid because no staff took care of us after it was served. Answer, "Yes, I know and I've already insulted the kitchen.". Too bad.

There were 6 of us at the Heuport for dinner. After we were seated we had to wait 20 minutes for any drinks to be taken. It took a total of an hour until the drinks came... until we could order food... staff totally overwhelmed. The food was also overpriced and the quality was a disaster. We had a sauerbraten: meat so-so, sauce with no taste, red cabbage cold and little taste overall. Onion roast: less than the stated 220g, very small, very expensive and the meat came well-done instead of medium rare (as ordered). For two, just under €80 with two main courses and four drinks. A usury with little performance. We complained but we got nothing except a “sorry”. We won't come back until something is improved!

Nice location, unfortunately with weaknesses on the plate and in the service The Wirtshaus im Heuport initially scores points with its excellent location right next to the cathedral and tasteful furnishings that invite you to linger. Unfortunately, the positive experience largely ends with the first impression. The service seemed unmotivated, sometimes even careless, and lacked the warmth that one would hope for in such a place. The staff wasn't always visually inviting either - details that spoil the overall experience. The chef seemed very in love with the cuisine that day - at least that was what the salt content of the dishes suggested. Some dishes were so salty that they were barely edible. Even apart from that, the cuisine was more in the lower middle class range. However, the beer was particularly disappointing: served far too warm – a real mood killer for a pub. All in all, it's a place where you would theoretically like to sit - just unfortunately not eat or drink. If you value good food, friendly service and a cold beer, you should look elsewhere.

The pork knuckle was the worst I've ever had so far, it arrived so cold that the sauce had already turned white, the crust was so salty and hard that you had to break it because cutting wasn't possible, the young girls were totally overwhelmed, and it was very empty so something like that shouldn't have happened, not at that price

We ate knuckle today. The ambience is nice, view of the cathedral. Unfortunately…. The fat on the plate has already crystallized white. Politely told the waitress that the food was cold. Was warmed up in the microwave and put back without saying anything. The meat was so hard and dry, the dumpling was inedibly solid. Then two knuckles at the same table. The other one was so small. Feels half cold, of course. People no longer cared about us. Maybe drinks or dessert. Unfortunately everyone is overloaded but such a service, no thanks. Very unfortunate. But that one beer was delicious

A great place for local german food

We were there on a Tuesday. 1/4 full, but the staff is still overwhelmed. The food came cold after almost an hour. But the restaurant is nicely decorated.

Very nice, cozy space + very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, when it came to eating the knuckle was an absolute failure: Plenty of “al dente” meat, the so-called “dark beer sauce” was a thin, indefinable pulp…more like a watery cube of bouillon, the accompanying cabbage was “all”, exchanging dumplings for bread dumplings wasn’t possible either, “all” as well. The potato salad under the salad (as a replacement for the cabbage) was also completely bland and tasteless. It was all hard to understand given the good food reviews the restaurant had received. As it turns out, there must have been a change in the kitchen. Too bad. We were really looking forward to a good meal.

We're Regensburg natives and "landed" at Heuport again after a long time. The service was truly excellent: consistently extremely polite, competent, and friendly staff! They didn't have a reservation, and despite the advance notice that it might take a little longer on Sunday evening, we were very well looked after and served promptly. Significantly faster than in other restaurants, without this notice, by the way ;-) Regarding the food (we had a large salad + zander fillet and a schnitzel with potato salad), there's still room for improvement. Unfortunately, we have to agree with the majority of recent reviews: the quality of the food has definitely been better/more upscale in the past.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here isn't right. We only had a schnitzel with fries (€16.80), and both the schnitzel and fries were deep-fried. You wouldn't expect to get a portion that was so greasy and unappetizing in a place like this. 😔

Nice location, but after drinking a weak aperol spritz we decided to visit Swagat Indian restaurant

The only star goes to the beautiful restaurant! Otherwise, our lunchtime visit with the family this morning was a complete disaster. I've never seen such abysmal service. With three occupied tables, we waited at least 45 minutes for a couple of Regensburg sausages, which were finally served after we asked. Some of the children's sausages were burnt, and only the fries were actually okay. After the lukewarm pancake soup, we adults waited for the Regensburg sausages. They finally arrived, served on a giant plate with four small sausages on a spoonful of sauerkraut on a small corner. We should have taken a photo. We were told that the freshly baked bread would arrive immediately. We were almost finished with the sausages, and there was still no bread on the way. I then complained at the bar, whereupon the manager, Mr. Bernhard, who had promised us the bread, jumped up from the table where he appeared to be sitting with friends and brought us the fresh, specially baked bread "still frozen inside" (not brown bread anyway), insisting it was fresh until he himself put his finger in it. It wasn't even properly baked. I don't want to say anything more about Mr. Bernhard's tone toward us. My pregnant daughter and my grandchildren had to witness an unbelievable spectacle. We've been to the restaurant several times with family, and apart from minor mistakes, we've always enjoyed it. From now on, we will never go back to this restaurant because this man is intolerable for this business. The food is very bad, the manager is incredibly rude and unacceptable in a restaurant of this caliber. Their response to my complaint was changed last week, stating that other guests had a different opinion. Do you mean the friends who were sitting at the table of your oh-so-nice operations manager Bernhard, who, before he very rudely served us last, fetched beers for his friends? Because the women sitting next to us certainly witnessed the behavior displayed by this "gentleman." The time we had to wait for a completely terrible meal and the rude behavior were outrageous. But as I said... we have recommended your restaurant several times... and you alone will not win any awards or guests with this gentleman. Time will tell.

The location and ambiance of Haus Heuport are truly fantastic, with a beautiful view of the cathedral. We enjoyed the selection of drinks, and the decor is very appealing. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to our expectations; the veal ragout was oversalted, and the dumplings were overcooked. The roast pork sauce was slimy. The service seemed uncertain and unconfident. Overall, a lovely location with room for improvement in the food and presentation.

Unfortunately there weren't enough staff on a Wednesday in March, we had to wait forever to order. And watching the foam from the beer disintegrate on the bar. The food wasn't that great either. Would go somewhere else next time.

Really nice location, but the food is losing quality. Been here 5 or 6 times since 2023 and while the food was perfect at the beginning, it got worse over time. Portions are relatively small for the price and food was always brought to the table cold the last two times. Last time almost everything was over. Due to supply shortages, that can happen, but there weren't many options left on the map. The quality of what we were then served was not comparable to the food that was served at the end of 2023. However, the service staff is always top!

I can't recommend it. The employee Bernhardt is very unfriendly and unpleasant. Not customer friendly. Food wasn't good, lukewarm and no fresh bread.

Attended a dinner here for the company's Christmas party with around 80 people. The taste of the food was okay, but the portions were a disgrace. As an example of the main course: there was “rolled suckling pig with dumplings and sauerkraut”, which was on the same scale as a starter. A lonely dumpling with a diameter of probably 4-5cm, the same size for the piece of meat. If you look at the other reviews and the unrealistic price expectations of the menu, this is not an exceptional case either. Personally, I would never eat here because you get better value for money even at the “yellow M”.

Great ambience but unfortunately disappointing culinary quality. We were there on a Sunday evening. Some dishes were already out. We then had the napkin dumplings in cream sauce and the sauerbraten. We were a bit skeptical when the food arrived a few minutes after we ordered. That usually speaks less for fresh quality. Unfortunately, the “sauces” for both dishes were extremely watery and had more in common with soup. Unfortunately, the sauerbraten had little in common with its name and was almost cold. For dessert there was Kaiserschmarrn. Unfortunately, this was obviously a finished product and not freshly prepared. Unfortunately, you could clearly taste it, as it was rather small pieces of rubber with very little applesauce. The homemade sodas were delicious, but it would be good to have an indication in the menu of how many milliliters they contained, as they were very large. Overall we were rather disappointed and would not come back.

Our Regensburg hostess had paid by card and needed the pin from her husband, who had just caught his child. Dialogue from waiter "Skendo": If you can't decide for yourself, then... Then I interrupted the man and told him what he thought of talking to us like that. I told him loudly that he didn't have to talk to us like that here! and what he means, who he is here. As is so often the case, some would-be waiters spoil a great place. Conclusion: Great restaurant with a nice atmosphere and good food. I would come again, not if I got a wannabe waiter. Would I recommend it: Conditionally, with the note that the special waiter couldn't make the evening. Fact, a really nice guesthouse!

Service was definitely not good!

What we were able to experience here was unbelievable in the truest sense of the word. We arrived when the waiter and later protagonist of this review was smoking in front of the main entrance. At first I was briefly surprised that the waiters were standing in front of the main entrance smoking, but it didn't bother me and just greeted him. Even though he looked at me, there was no response. All right. Went in first. We had a small table by the window in the really nice dining room. After our waiter (a young guy who was really very friendly and tried hard) took our order, the following events at the neighboring tables made us feel extremely uncomfortable (even though we would have actually wanted dessert) and instead left as quickly as possible: the smoking waiter in front of the main entrance is probably the most unfriendly, incompetent and unpleasant waiter we have ever experienced - even though we (luckily!!!) weren't even served by him. Situation 1: an order is placed at the neighboring table. It's obviously not going fast enough for him, so he asks the woman with a snap to "keep going!" to order faster. Situation 2: At another table, he was ordered to drink three times without success. After the third question about the drinks, he simply leaves without saying a word. The young waiter finally takes the order and apologizes to the couple. Situation 3: Apparently there is no cleaning at another table between a change of guests. The couple draws attention to this and asks if the traces of their predecessors could be quickly wiped away. He acknowledges this with the words “I’m also the cleaning lady here now.” Situation 4: the couple who had to order four times before have apparently ordered a second round of drinks and are already waiting for them again (a small side note: it's still early in the evening and really not much going on). When asked, he calls out across the entire dining room, "Yes, my God, they're waiting 10 minutes, so what?" Situation 5: a family with two children asks to be allowed to pay. He comes to the table and complains loudly "bring out food, clear the table, bring drinks, collect money, what else am I supposed to do?!" (Maybe I'm making a mistake here, but I always thought that was the job description of a waiter) Situation 6: our empty plates have been on the table for half an hour. He has walked past us at least 15 times without even looking at us. A very young waitress happens to come by and asks very politely if she can take the plates away. We affirm. Just then "he" comes over and barks at her to clear away everything she can. Situation 7: We are just leaving the restaurant when he loudly shouts "that's sickening" on the way to the kitchen - so loud that all the guests present can probably hear it. Maybe he was having a bad day. But even then, I expect a minimum of politeness - after all, you pay a lot of money here and at least you don't want to feel uncomfortable. Although we had a very nice waiter, this absolutely impossible person made our visit so unpleasant that we definitely won't be coming back. Management should definitely think about staff. It should also be noted that this waiter (around mid-forties, slim, short hair) did by far the least of all the waiters present; he was mainly busy walking around annoyed and making life difficult for the other, younger waiters.

We have been consistently disappointed with the service at this restaurant. Unfortunately, after experiencing poor service multiple times, it has become clear that this is not just an isolated incident. It’s truly frustrating that the behavior of the waitstaff has completely overshadowed what could have been a great experience. While the location and atmosphere are lovely, the way they treat customers can ruin your entire visit. After more than three bad experiences, I will not be returning and certainly cannot recommend this place to anyone.

We had a negative experience with the behavior of one of the waiters. He was very unfriendly and we didn’t feel comfortable and welcomed. Also carrot cake was not fresh.

First of all: staff was very friendly and nice. The ambience was very nice. However, the food was a total failure. The fries were apparently already old and fried, you could tell straight away because their structure was very strange and they were completely dripping in fat. The quality of the meat for the schnitzel was medium to rather poor. Others at our table ate smoked salmon and unfortunately weren't satisfied either. We won't be coming back

Nice traditional restaurant, German cuisine, rather fewer vegetarian options, but cheese spaetzle were very tasty. very large portions, very nice atmosphere. definitely recommended

Unfortunately, after 40 minutes in the hay port, I had to leave without eating. Since I still didn't get a card after 30 minutes and the condition was apparently alone and overwhelmed, I looked to see if the card could possibly be found on the Internet. When I finally got in touch with the waitress to ask if I could order, his response was "Wait or leave." I then went to Weissbräuhaus - and look, within 5 minutes I had a card in my hand and after another 10 minutes the food was on the table... Heuport doesn't seem to need their guests...

It's a shame that the Heuport apparently suffices as a tourist shed. Apparently you rely on the fact that the guests only come once and never again. The food was just convenience - microwave saves the cook, but even that you have to be able to use properly. Kaiserschmarrn wasn't even lukewarm, far too sweet, ready-made food. Then it's better not to offer one. The white sausage was tourist size - cute, but tasteless. All you have to do is buy good quality and heat it up, that's what a good kitchen aid creates! The staff was very friendly and tried to iron out the problem; they claimed that the new chef wanted to change a few things here anyway. We are excited. It would be a shame for the beautiful restaurant!

Great restaurant with a view of the cathedral, beautiful courtyard, in a great ambience, with excellent food. The acoustics would be particularly noteworthy. You can have a pleasant conversation no matter how busy it is and how late the next table is. Therefore also ideal for business meals.

wir waren heute, Sonntag, um 12:30Uhr im Heuport. Leider waren von der sehr überschaubaren Speisenauswahl bereits 2 Gerichte nicht mehr verfügbar. Die bestellten Gerichte Schweinebraten und Rindsroulade wurden uns zimmerwarm vorgesetzt. Wir haben bei der durchaus freundlichen Bedienung um warmes Essen gebeten, woraufhin unsere Speisen als nächstes heiß serviert wurden. Leider war auch die extra georderte Sauce für den Schweinebraten wieder lauwarm. (ist hin der Küche vielleicht der Ofen kaputt?)

Delicious food. TBH didn’t expect such level from the restaurant in the center of touristic area. Fare prices. Nice stuff.

Ambience is great (rustic). Food is great and lots of variety. The service is absolutely perfect. It's always best to reserve in advance.

Tasty in an interesting place. Only the tables and chairs do not match the interior design. First class service!

The service was good, the food was cold and didn't taste good. Sauerbraten with arugula and tomatoes really doesn't go together. Red cabbage was completely overcooked.

Sehr freundlicher Service, sehr schönes Ambiente und tolles Essen. Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort. Und ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal!
