A modern fusion of Bavarian bread and hearty pub fare – and extremely tasty! The ambiance is cozy, easily accessible, and moderately quiet. The service is courteous and prompt. I treated myself to the vegan Munich Pizza No. 81 with tomato salsa dip and the French Pretzel dessert. The pizza, with white sausage, onions, sweet mustard, and pretzel dough, sounds more than adventurous at first, but the venture is rewarded. Very hearty and absolutely delicious! The dessert rounds everything off with a slightly fruity sweetness. My insider tip: The homemade elderflower spritzer...very refreshing. All in all, highly recommended!🥨

After visiting an exhibition at the House of Bavarian History, it was time for a stop. The delicious pretzel pizza is a culinary highlight here. Weltenburger and Bischofshof beers are available on tap. The staff is friendly and the service is welcoming.

Five of us went here for a white sausage breakfast. You can get a regular pair or a vegan pair of white sausages for €4.50 each, along with a portion of sweet mustard and a pretzel included in the price. Service was friendly and quick, and the view of the Danube from the outdoor seating area is, of course, fantastic. We'd go back anytime!

Very tasty and varied offerings. The vegetarian burger with mushrooms, fries, and salad was a delight. Service is very friendly, but they could ask more often if you need something to drink. Otherwise, I'd be happy to go back.

I went to Brezeria with friends yesterday, and unfortunately, we were pretty annoyed with the service. After waiting for 20 minutes without any attention (the guests around us, who had arrived after us, were being served in the meantime), we pointed out that we would like to order. The employee was very nice and said we didn't belong in her area, but she took our order anyway. The employee who would have been in charge of us "apologized" with obviously untrue excuses (we could see that he was more busy "chatting" with colleagues than taking care of the guests). After another 20 minutes, we still didn't have any drinks. The guests next to us, who had arrived after us, already had their food. The drinks arrived a little later than the food, which I also find very unusual. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat together. When the first of us were almost finished, the last ones got their food. The salad was completely missing dressing, even though we were specifically asked which one we'd like. When we asked, oil and vinegar were brought to the table. Salt and pepper were still missing, but we didn't want to ask again, as we were pretty hungry by then. The food itself was delicious. It's a shame that the employee who served us put the restaurant in such a bad light. The other employees who served the other areas seemed more committed and, above all, more motivated. 3 stars for the nice ambiance and delicious food. I wouldn't visit the restaurant again, though. At most, I'd order and pick up, and then enjoy it by the Danube.

I had to wait over an hour for my food, and the service wasn't particularly friendly. The food didn't taste particularly good either. I wouldn't recommend it.

The food was absolutely top-notch! The Ludwig pizza was fantastic – the pretzel dough was super fluffy and delicious, and everything on it was fresh and perfectly balanced! The schnitzel in pretzel breading, topped with mustard and horseradish, was also a dream – the fries were fresh and crispy, and the sauce was very rich. 100% recommendation! The service was super friendly, and the ambiance was reminiscent of an old pub, even though it's actually a new building. Unfortunately, it was too loud outside for us, but that's why we sat inside :)

Excellent restaurant on the banks of the Danube River

A somewhat different kind of pub. The atmosphere is very cozy and located right by the Danube and the Bavarian Museum. There are some outdoor seating areas. The service was very friendly and always present. There is a wide selection of delicious dishes. Prices are perfectly reasonable. We enjoyed everything. We'll be back.

I was there for the first time yesterday and I have to say I'd love to come back. The cordon bleu with fries was absolutely delicious! My colleague had a pretzel pizza and also loved it. The service was also excellent and very friendly. Thank you! I'd love to come back! 😊

The three of us went to Brezeria on a Sunday for a white sausage breakfast. The food and pretzels were okay, and the beer was really good and went perfectly with the Bavarian snack. Unfortunately, the service was a bit overwhelmed – they were setting up the patio outside at the same time, which obviously took up a lot of our attention. A second beer order unfortunately never arrived, so we left early. But everything tasted really good – perhaps next time, with a bit more peace and quiet, we'll have a better overall experience.

Good, would definitely go again.

Modern ambience, delicious dishes at reasonable prices.

We tried the pretzel pizza "Kas," a Margherita. The pizza was very good. The Obazda (traditional cheese) was very spicy and creamy, just as it should be. The service was very friendly, fast, and extremely attentive. The prices are on the high side, but average for Tegensburg.

We weren't served after 30 minutes, and it's very expensive. And it smells like someone shot there.

A truly lovely restaurant. Tastefully decorated, and the pretzel theme was very present. I had roast pork and my companion had a schnitzel. It seemed very good. My roast pork was served with two different dumplings, a piece of meat, and sauerkraut with bacon. The dumplings were delicious. Unfortunately, the sauce was very salty, and there was a two-centimeter-thick layer of fat on the piece of roast. The coleslaw with bacon was good and also homemade. A bit oily, but OK. The service was attentive and friendly.

We were here for dinner with six people and had a great evening. The pizza was truly unique and delicious. There were also a few specialty beers to choose from, so we were able to indulge our palates with new delights. I particularly enjoyed the Nuremberg red beer. The atmosphere is cozy, as befits a pub, and the service was also courteous and prompt. We'd be happy to come back.

I ate well, but the price of the drinks was almost too much for me! The food was good – fresh, flavorful, and filling. I'd like to particularly highlight the service: friendly, attentive, and fast – exactly what you'd want! You felt truly welcome as a guest, and that significantly improved the overall impression. But when it came to paying, I turned pale for a moment: I couldn't remember whether I was still in Regensburg or already in Munich at Stachus. Over €5 for 0.5l is unfortunately "normal" here these days, but €3.50 for a 0.2l Coke Zero?! I had to wonder for a moment whether the glass had been poured beforehand by the sommelier – with white gloves and fanfare. Fun fact: That's €17.50 per liter – for that, I almost expected that at least refills would be free. 😅 Conclusion: Good food, top service, but drink prices have comedic potential. If you're thirsty, you should play the lottery beforehand or bring something with you. 😁

House and techno beats in a young Bavarian concept are completely unsuitable and actually just a nuisance. Chilled Bavarian rap or pop belongs here. Or you might just like Bayern 1. For non-techno fans, this is an absolute nightmare and honestly ruins the experience.

Four of us went to Brezeria today. We ordered four tapas, which we shared. When the tapas arrived, I asked for four small plates. These arrived promptly and without complications. After that, we had four main courses: two Cordon Bleu, a pretzel burger, and the Regensburg pretzel pizza. We enjoyed both the tapas and the main courses. The young waitress was very friendly and asked how we were several times. Truly excellent. If anything could be improved, it would be the serving of the main courses. They would have liked a few more minutes to pass between the tapas and the main courses. But it wasn't a big deal for us. The price for the four tapas, four main courses, various drinks, and tips came to €150. Reasonably priced for us. We will definitely be back. I can't comment on the ambience inside, as we were outside. It's cozy outside, though perhaps not as nice as other beer gardens (the view). The restrooms are clean, but they're in the basement. I couldn't see if there's an elevator for wheelchair users.

Located right next to the House of Bavarian History. The service was very friendly and attentive. The menu features impressive regional cuisine at reasonable prices. Everything tasted very good.

There were four of us here and we really tried to try everything, but it wasn't possible. We had three different starters, a Regensburg pizza, a Cordon Bleu, and a burger, plus three different desserts, and, as strange as it may sound at first, it was outstandingly good. The ambiance on the Danube, the service that didn't forget you but wasn't overly intrusive, everyone was very friendly and competent. All in all, a truly exciting stay. It was a flavor explosion in every respect. Definitely recommended.

The food arrived in a perfectly acceptable time and was still piping hot at the table. For dessert, we ordered a sweet pizza. The waitress even brought us three sets of cutlery. Respect. All in all, we highly recommend this place. It certainly won't be the last time we visit.

From the children's menu to the Brezeria creations to the pretzel fortune cookie, everything here is made with a lot of passion. What initially sounds like a food gag is serious competition to traditional Italian pizza. Definitely not a flash in the pan. A product you'll want to eat more than once. If you like Regensburger Knackersemmel (a traditional German bread roll) and pretzels, you'll love the "Regensburger Pretzel Pizza" version! -> 5 stars for that too ***** - Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures, it was gone too quickly... ;-)

It's really fun and the food is incredibly delicious! The beers from Bavaria are also well represented and selected. Here you can see a great selection of popular beers. A truly fantastic atmosphere and incredibly delicious food! You sit beautifully on the Danube, right next to the Bavarian History Museum, and the service is very friendly. We'd love to come back!

We happened upon the Brezeria by chance while strolling. 5 stars all the way. From the service to the delicious food. The concept is simply brilliant. And you can tell that a lot of thought went into the selection of ingredients for the pretzel pizzas. A real compliment to this idea. We'll definitely be back on our next stay in Regensburg.

We were here on Sunday afternoon after our museum visit, and it was absolutely fantastic. From the truly friendly and attentive service to the delicious food. We had a Ludwig pretzel pizza and a schnitzel, both of which arrived at our table together, still piping hot. We only waited about 10 minutes, if that. The drinks selection is truly fantastic, and the homemade lemonades look truly delicious. As a tip, I'd recommend making a reservation, especially at lunchtime, as it's otherwise difficult to get a table on the spur of the moment.

We really wanted to try the pretzel pizzas. They were really delicious and plenty of food. Both the specialty pizzas and the classic ones were really great. I actually think the price (€18/€19) is a bit high... Unfortunately, our orders were also swapped for vegan with special requests and vegetarian, which was a bit of a shame. Considering it wasn't busy, we had to wait a relatively long time (for drinks and food). We weren't stressed, but we noticed that. The service was okay. Friendly but not very attentive (asking questions, clearing the table, getting new drinks). Still incredibly delicious and a new combo 😊

Very unfriendly service. The lady kept me waiting, ignoring me even though she wasn't busy. There were three tables inside and outside, almost all of which were finished. She didn't even say hello. I had to ask for the menu, and then after 10 minutes, even though I was visibly waiting for her, I begged to be allowed to order. Then she didn't look at me, and when I ordered, I waited another 10 minutes or more for my soda water, and the food also took a relatively long time. I'm a hotelier and hotel tester myself, and that kind of attitude is completely unacceptable. It's a shame. The food was good and the ambiance was okay. But working in the tourism industry with such attitudes isn't ideal. Of course, I didn't tip; I couldn't find out any names. Conversation between her and my neighbors. No. This place is obviously geared towards tourists who won't be returning. We were shown a table on the terrace at 4:50 p.m. today. There was no notice saying that you could only order food until 5:00 p.m. because the restaurant is only open until 6:00 p.m. on Sundays. That in itself is a bit strange for a big city. In any case, we ordered drinks before 5:00 p.m., when we could have ordered food too. Then the waitress came with the drinks before 5:00 p.m. and we wanted to order food, a pretzel pizza. Yes, it was sold out. We said, then we have to look at the menu again. Then she comes at exactly 5:02 p.m. and tells us that it is now too late to order food because the kitchen closes at 5:00 p.m. and they are only open until 6:00 p.m. Are there any words for this? They obviously don't have to make any money from it or have no emotional connection to the restaurant industry. Restaurant and time clocks don't mix.

We wanted classic Bavarian cuisine, which is what you'd expect from a restaurant in a museum called the "House of Bavarian History." I can get pizza and hamburgers anytime, anywhere, and, above all, at a lower price. To revolutionize Bavarian cuisine, it's not enough to simply include pretzels in every dish. What a shame!!!

The pretzel pizza is definitely original and something new. The Bavarian variations are very hearty and heavy, so we split a classic and the Regensburger Brizza. €19 for a pizza is a bit pricey in my opinion, and the service was also a bit slow. If you're looking for a sunny spot, look no further, as the outdoor area is on the north side. Otherwise, everything was great!

Top service! The waitress Paula in particular is very friendly and accommodating, but actually the whole team is like that. Paula really took great care of our table on the sidelines of the opening of the Bavarian State Exhibition.

We were there for lunch, the restaurant was empty and we still waited almost 45 minutes until the waitress told us that the order hadn't arrived in the kitchen due to alleged WiFi problems! Unfortunately, something like that doesn't work and should have been noticed much sooner! I'm very disappointed!

We went to Brezeria for lunch and of course had to try the new pretzel pizzas. If so, then already - the Bavarian version, although I find the price at 19 euros very expensive. The taste was definitely convincing. Something completely different and you just have to get involved with it. I had almost a quarter packed up for home because it was really huge. The pretzel burger was also very tasty and recommended. It's also a dog-friendly restaurant, we were immediately offered water for the dog 🐾 We'd love to come back and try out the rest of the pretzel pizza variants!

The roast pork is a power, you don't actually need a knife for it, the meat is so tender and tastes wonderful

The location is super inviting and the service was extremely friendly. There would be top marks for that. Unfortunately, the kitchen was not convincing at all. It was slack, a lot of it was also convenience, it also seemed careless - not just tasteless. For just under €18 the burger was simply a disgrace. The patty was a disgrace for a burger. The rest of the topping was also absolutely boring. Tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce leaves, onions and a small dollop of sauce. There wouldn't even be a star from us here. The other dishes didn’t do justice to a “tavern” either. We suspected that unfortunately there were no trained people in the kitchen or those who were not familiar with this type of food. It's a shame, there would be so much more there. Thanks to the service. It would be nice if the weak points were worked on, but the concept and the menu are really coherent.

Unexpected things often happen! Great Bavarian inn with delicious cakes and very good coffee. Very well attended, the other meals can't be that bad. Unfortunately we couldn't try that. But the best thing was the super nice service today, we felt very comfortable. Thanks for that ❤️

Nice, authentic inn in the museum. Very friendly employees. There was coffee and cake, with apple spritzer and rhubarb spritzer. A visit after the detailed museum visit is worthwhile.

We've eaten here several times now, once for coffee, for lunch and twice for white sausage. The sausage is very tasty and accompanied by a pretzel warm from the oven with sweet mustard, what more could you want.

So if you haven't been to the tavern in the museum, you've missed something! A really rustic atmosphere, just the way it should be. But now pay attention: The bar waiter – my friend – is a stunner! The guy pushes the measure across the counter so quickly that you think he has three chicken wings. And always a bit of insults, but never too cheeky, right? A little flirting, a little grumbling, just the way it should be! The food - cleanly prepared and tastes like grandma's at home. Whether it's knuckle, roast pork or a good beer - you won't save any money. But, as true as it is: without the bar waiter it wouldn't be half as nice! That's what makes the tavern what it is: a place to stay, drink and laugh like crazy. So let's go, off to the museum - not just for the art, but for the beer and the best waiter in all of Regensburg!

Unfortunately, the service here left a lot to be desired. After we had to wait a long time and then go to the waitress to order, we received a mediocre to bad watery coffee with a milk foam that was more like bath foam. In addition, after we got our cakes and coffee, we were not allowed to eat in peace, but had to go straight back to the counter to pay... outrageous. Although the cakes were okay, I think I would still advise against staying here. There are much better cafes in the area within a few minutes' walk!

I rarely write reviews, but credit where credit is due. My motto for a very good restaurant is: 10 out of 10. You go to eat ten times and are convinced ten times. And that’s exactly what applies to the inn in the museum. This kitchen offers the best Bavarian home cooking in all of Regensburg. The only drawback that I would like to mention but will not include in the review is that the inn is not open in the evenings. This meal, coupled with the variety of beers, would be perfect for a long evening of card games. Still absolutely recommended!

The inn to the museum, unfortunately not fully thought through. After visiting the museum there is no more food in the evening, the kitchen closes at 5 p.m. and the inn parallel to the museum closes at 6 p.m. All that remains is the very manageable weekly menu until 5 p.m. Unfortunately, I didn't have a great experience with the schnitzel. If you roughly divide the portion size into Obelix, Asterix and Idefix, my ready-made schnitzel ends up in the Idefix category at best. That's too little and no longer fits the low price. If the Bavarian lion in the museum entrance notices this! But some Franconian is always complaining, you can already read that in the museum. Nice and relatively quiet location, very, very nice service. Overall, due to opening times, offers and ideas, unfortunately only 3 stars.

Super inexpensive food, especially items on the weekly menu. Ordered KNÖDL BOWL, a salad bowl with marinated spelled and homemade cheese dumplings, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, carrots, fresh fruit and baking peas.

ABSOLUTE RIP-OFF - NO SERVICE Very unfriendly, arrogant and overpriced - there is one star because no star is not possible! The two of us ate in the restaurant - so I can't judge the food on hand. We were given bread and only when we ordered were we told that the bread roll costs €1.40 per piece! Nice to know! The drinks were "thrown" onto the table - the beer was served in the bottle with a soaking wet, dripping glass - filling at €5 per bottle! Of course it's not part of the service, let alone a dry glass! The 8 grilled sausages with sauerkraut are completely over the top at over €20! A bit of canned sauerkraut (at room temperature of course) and without caraway seeds, as well as a few barely cooked sausages without spices were all on the plate. With the Salsiccia, the two sparse strips for just under €16 were at least seasoned, the potato and cucumber salad, but only from a plastic bucket! For two people who ate the two dishes mentioned and each had a drink (the beer mentioned and a special), the final total is €46.60 - of course we weren't asked how or even if it tasted ... ABSOLUTE RIP-OFF - NO SERVICE

I was a guest there on June 22, 2024. Shortly before 5 p.m. (kitchen closing time) I received a very friendly welcome and by far!! Best!! Ate roast pork 🤗 The atmosphere outside was very pleasant, the service was very attentive and quick, the toilets were clean and the beer was nice and cold 😄 Absolutely recommended!!!

Mega netter Service und einfach ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Die etwas kühlen Toiletten entpuppte sich einfach als Mega sauber und großzügig aufgebaut. Sie gehörten nämlich eindeutig zum Museum!

Leider nicht einmal eine Scheibe Brot dabei was sonst gängig ist. —- + Nicely decorated for tourists with a touch of Bavaria. + Serving staff friendly and fast. + Bathrooms look a little too minimalistic but they are clean. - The goulash soup was not very good, but it was hot. Unfortunately they did not even add a slice of bread, which is a standard in other restaurants.

Die Chefin ist arrogant und eingebildet, der Service nicht zu schnell wenig Personal aber höflich die Chefin nicht! Die Chefin lässt sich nicht sehen! Früher wars hier besser und die Qualität hat auch nachgelassen! Teure Preise mittlerweile

Freundliches Personal, ansprechende Speisen- und Getränkeauswahl

Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr freundliches Personal :)

Waren gestern Mittags da.Das Essen war super und reichlich. Preis ok. Bedienung superfreundlich. Schönes Ambiente und das dunkle Radler sehr süffig. Können wir nur empfehlen.

Schönes, modernes Lokal direkt an der Donau! Der Schweinebraten war lecker und eine gute Portion. Die Servicekräfte waren freundlich.

Im Anschluss an eine Familienausflug haben wir uns hier noch für ein gemeinsames Essen entschieden. Das Essen war vorzüglich und die Portionen großzügig. Das Dressing bei Salad in der extra Falsche ein absolutes Highlight. Leider war aufgrund einer großen Gruppe das Essen nicht gemeinsam bei uns und hat auch etwas länger gedauert. Für Regensburger Verhältnisse auch im teureren Bereich für ein Wirtshaus. Dennoch gelungen und überraschend gute Qualität der Speisen. Durch das teilweise enge Stellen der Tische auch ein hoher Geräusch Pegel.

Gutes Essen, große Getränke auswahl, aufmerksamer Service. Sehr schönes Ambiente. Auch der Freisitz ist einladend. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen
