Service good. When it comes to food, the question arises as to what is actually home-made and not a convenience product.

Friendly service, delicious and plentiful dishes, warm atmosphere. Too bad credit cards are not accepted.

Good selection of local specialty cut cakes and bakery products. Taste wonderful.

Very good German food in Triberg. They have the menu in Spanish and they speak a little Spanish. Very friendly and smiling service! We have eaten very well. Advisable!!

They do not accept credit cards. They are quite slow serving (40 minutes to serve the order). The food is good. There isn't much else to choose from in the area.

Varied salad with very tasty turkey and plate of different meats, turkey, pork and sausages. All quite acceptable. Kind.

Our experience has been totally disappointing. We were 4 adults with 4 children and after waiting patiently for 1 hour sitting at the table without being served, we asked if the children's dishes would take a long time. The waiter answered us in a rude manner saying that the restaurant was full and that he had had to close the kitchen because they didn't serve the avast. He booed us and left us speechless. The food was very mediocre. We expected typical dishes to taste the local gastronomy and we were served cold, reheated dishes. The kids spaghetti was cold. Cold, after an hour of waiting! incredible The waiter was so extremely rude and incoherent that we paid and ran away. It's a shame that they don't know how to serve customers professionally and, at the very least, politely and with a smile.

We also listened to the rave reviews and were looking forward to the visit. What we experienced was a complete disappointment. We waited ten minutes for tickets. Guests who came after us already had their drinks on the table before we could even order drinks (we were sitting in the middle of the dining room). When our food was there, we had to order cutlery separately, which in itself wouldn't be a problem if the waiter hadn't taken orders instead of bringing the cutlery, changed the beer keg, brought food to other tables and also taken a five-minute break has. After a while another waitress came and noticed that we weren't eating yet. Her attempt to smile away the situation seemed rather arrogant. After two minutes, the female waiter came to the table again to ask if she could “shove” [warm up] our food again. When I pointed out to her that the meat was already dry and shouldn't be reheated, she smiled again and pointed out that it wouldn't make it any drier [worse]. The discussion about the bill only made things worse. I don't want "Schnäpsle" and there is no amount of alcohol that can compensate for incompetent (I mean that literally - I have legitimate doubts that anyone in the house who moves around the restaurant has an IHK degree) service. An apology would certainly have worked... The price was really cheap, if you're barely above McD in terms of price, then at least the service shouldn't be worse than McD. This inn is the easiest way to eliminate a good mood and a complete waste of time.

Typisches Touristenziel in einem Touristenort. Service war nicht außergewöhnlich aufmerksam, das Essen war absolut okay. Kinderstühle waren vorhanden, was super war. Es gab auch eine Kinderkarte, ebenfalls klasse! Zahlung ist nur bar möglich, was für manche Nebentische eine böse Überraschung war, sodass die Gästen noch zu den umliegenden Geldautomaten mussten. Das finde ich in 2024 nicht mehr tragbar. Was für ein Umsatz verloren geht, weil ein Tisch länger besetzt bleibt, weil einer vom Tisch erst Geld holen muss… unfassbar. Triberg zieht internationale Touristen an, aber bezahlt werden darf nur bar. Bei uns passte es zum Glück, ich empfehle aber, das zu ändern.

Bad service I have ever had. Trying to to seat at 13:45 (5adults) and because the tables just for 4 persons they don’t allow to seat there… really weird. Also talking not nicely…

Very tasty meal with friends, very hospitable service for whom nothing was too much. The only downside was that the terrace is located on a parking lot on a busy main road, which somewhat spoils the atmosphere.

Water from the tap 2.80 euros 1 liter outrageous. There are no ice cubes for cold drinks. Food tastes great. Praise to the chef.

Restaurant met een zeer gedateerde inrichting. Smoezelige tafelbekleding,vieze viltjes, simpel servies. Eten was typisch Duits, 2 bratwurst met kartoffelsalat. En 2 haren extra. Je kunt alleen contant betalen.

Were in Triberg over the weekend and chose this restaurant on day 1 and also on day 2 because of the price/performance ratio. Would go here again. So: recommendation - yes :)

We ordered two ham and cheese platters and unfortunately the quantity was very small. There was only one type of cheese to choose from without any information on the menu. Only one type of the dish was delicious, but it was very tasty. Unfortunately it wasn't worth it for the price. But the place is very beautiful.

We've been there twice because it's so delicious. We can only recommend the deer goulash and the grill plate

So first of course, my Arab colleague and then another customer, I waited 30 minutes for my xxl kebab and then I got thinner which was only half full because it was just a catastrophe. I returned these duners and didn't pay.

The two of us had dinner. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the waitress and shown to a free seat. The drinks and the food afterwards came very quickly. The strengths of the smaller, but definitely cozy restaurant are evident in both the taste and the portion size. The price for the shared dinner was reasonable. We'd love to come back!

I'm wondering about the reviews. For us it was the most miserable meal we've had in many years. Every station restaurant is better! We ate bratwursts with potato salad. How much can you go wrong? But: the potato salad was definitely out of the bucket, the sausages were old, and the ready-made sauce was cold. Even a shot of schnapps at home didn't help much with the bad feeling in my stomach. Never again! And where do all the good reviews come from? Are they all fake? Or has something changed in the kitchen?

Simple restaurant where you can taste good quality typical dishes with generous portions, the beer is also good. The prices are average, it's a shame that you can only pay in cash

There were 2 options for vegetarian style, and both of them were tasting so good. They don't accept bank cards, so carry cash in hand.

As we walk in, the place looked more like a bar with tables with no tablecloths. My wife ordered the snitzel and I ordered the deer stew. Both were well served and extremely good. Probably the best meal we had during our stay in the weekend. Great value with lunch dishes under €20. Service was gracious and fast.

This site far exceeded our expectations. Delicious food, good service from the staff, good price and a very quiet place (they even recommend in the menu that you put your cell phone on silent) to eat and rest a little. We ordered the pork stew and the venison stew and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Also dafür muss man nicht ins Restaurant gehen, absolut nicht spezielles. Bier,Spezi und Rumpsteak 33€ Kann man sich zuhause auch machen. Ich denke man könnte mehr draus machen, mit kleinigkeiten...

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ich hatte den "Bauernteller" und als Desert nen Apfelstrudel mit Vanillesoße. Hat sehr fein geschmeckt. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder!

Super leckeres Essen, gut bürgerliche Hausmannskost. Der Service war super, obwohl die Wirtschaft voll war, hat das Personal uns um eine kurze Wartezeit gebeten bis ein Tisch frei wurde. Sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Und die Preise sind auch wirklich in Ordnung.

Prima Duits restaurant met aardige ober. We kwamen voor een kleine hap, de borden die voorbij kwamen zagen er in ieder geval prima uit.

Rustikale, typische Wirtschaft mit sehr gutem Essen. Die Portionen sind riesig zu wirklich guten Preisen. Die Bedienung war bei uns nicht sehr häufig am Tisch und das Ambiente wirkt auf mich etwas dunkel. Trotzdem sind alle sehr nett gewesen. Das Bild zeigt einen Bauernteller.

Service war einigermaßen okay, die Pommes waren nicht frisch und sehr hart die Spätzle waren wie schon oft in den Rezessionen beschrieben „einfache Fertigware“ und auf nachfrage nach dem die Hauptgerichte serviert worden sind wo der Beilagen Salat ist, war der Kellner leicht gereizt bei der Nachfrage.. was nicht sein darf… eine Entschuldigung kam auch nicht. Noch einmal würde ich nicht mehr hier hin essen kommen.

Hemos llegado a las 14:00 y estaba lleno , cuando hemos entrado detrás de una pareja para pedir mesa había dos libres dentro , nos han dejado sentarnos pero ya nos han puesto mala cara, después de nosotros no han dejado a nadie mas , decía que la cocina estaba cerrada, cuando pone que cierran a las 16:00….. hemos pedido la bebida y aqui lo peor … 1:10 minutos de espera para que nos sirvan la comida, la verdad que estaba bueno pero no entendemos una salchicha, y dos filetes( asado y ahumado ) pure de patata y chukrut semejante tardanza… lo siento pero no volveríamos , si vas a tardar tanto tienes que avisar y yo decido si quiero esperar.
