A great restaurant to eat at in Triberg. Delicious pizzas with good crust and a good price. They also give you sauces to go with the pizzas, which is fantastic. The staff was very friendly and attentive from the start. The service was quick. Highly recommended!

Fabulous place to eat. Bottle of water, full salad, pork in sauce with potatoes and salad, all for €35. Incredibly friendly and very fast. The food was exquisite and very tasty. Highly recommended. The breaded pork with mushroom sauce was spectacular. They don't have many traditional dishes, but the ones they do have are fabulous.

There is a new owner of this already established restaurant. He was so eager to ensure that our food and eating experience was wonderful. Yum!

Today, we visited the pizzeria on the market square in Triberg with our family and received an incredibly warm welcome as soon as we walked in. The atmosphere was immediately friendly and inviting. We ordered pizza, spaghetti, and chicken breast – everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The homemade pestos deserve special mention; they were truly exceptional! The owner even came to our table himself, told us about the recent change in ownership, and how much they value fresh ingredients and careful preparation – and you could definitely taste the difference. We highly recommend this restaurant and will be back again soon!

The restaurant was completely packed over the weekend, but it was freezing cold. 🥶 Of course, with that high ceiling, the heat stays upstairs and they have to heat it considerably, but I might as well have eaten outside wearing a jacket. The friendly service and the food saved it from being a 4-star experience, though.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was very attentive. A tip: order pizza; they have amazing homemade pesto. All in all, a very nice evening.

The food was excellent, and so was the service. Everything was fresh and not refrigerated – you could taste the difference. There are new owners now; we can't say what it was like before, but if we're ever in Triberg again, we'll definitely come back.

It was our first time in Triberg, and we wanted to eat out, but not typical Black Forest fare. So we ended up here, very centrally located, where we were greeted warmly and taken a seat. It was quite busy, but ordering and service were excellent. And the food – hamburgers with fries, authentic Italian pizza, and spinach dumplings – was all absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning. We'd gladly go back again.

It wasn't easy to find good food with a reasonable price-performance ratio here in Triberg. In the afternoon, I simply went into the restaurant to ask how late the kitchen was open in the evening – until 9:30 p.m. That worked out well, as we always eat a little later than usual. The pizzeria at the market recently got a new owner, who gave us a very friendly welcome. We were pleasantly surprised: delicious food of excellent quality. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. It was nicely presented on the plate and it was a really huge portion. It tasted so good that we ate there several evenings. The price-performance ratio is very good – a 0.4l Coke costs €3.50, pizzas start at €11. Everything is freshly prepared and homemade. The restrooms are clean.

I went to the pizzeria and treated myself to a pizza and a salad – absolutely delicious! The crust was nice and crispy, and the toppings were super fresh. As an extra surprise, they even gave me the salad for free – so sweet! 🥰 The staff was incredibly friendly, and when the waiter saw I was eating alone, he cheered me up a bit. If I were to eat out alone again, I'd definitely go here; I felt right at home. In short: The new owner has everything under control. A restaurant that met our needs, as our daughter is vegetarian, and we were able to please the whole group. The owners were very kind, friendly, and quick with their service. The food was excellent!!! Everything was delicious, from the food to the beer. As Italians, we also really enjoyed the pizza, which is difficult to find abroad, but here, both the dough and the toppings and ingredients were excellent. Each dish was very generous and came with fries and a tasty salad. They brought homemade garlic sauces and a spicy one to our table, delicious! At the end, they offered us a house digestif. A wonderful experience.

During our vacation in Triberg, we were looking for a suitable meal. GREAT! The service, the taste, the portion sizes, and the value for money were all excellent. We are truly delighted and will definitely be back.

Everything was pretty hectic there. The staff tried hard, but at times, cutlery was simply slammed down on the table. The pizza was okay for me, but everyone has different tastes. Pizza + drink cost €14.50.

August 2025. We went to eat, and it was bad from the start: the waiter didn't take our order correctly and forgot about the food :-) leaving us looking like two fools with just our drinks until we realized that a table that had arrived later was already eating. After sitting for a while, the waiter, without mincing words, grabbed the table we were sitting at and dragged it without looking at us, to squeeze two more chairs in at the next table because there was a group of six people who were more interested than us, who were only two. After claiming our cheeseburgers, two "things" arrived with a slice of cheese and a very thin hamburger for the modest price of 11.50 euros each. There were more problems dealing with the waiter, but to cut a long story short, I'll say this: you can't use a credit card! Cash or no option. In my opinion: a place to avoid.

Move on. Inedible pizza. Industrial fries. Salad freshness needs to be improved. So expensive for what you get on your plate.

Bad surprise: they don't accept cards, but there's no notice 🤨 We ate: pizza, calzone, burger, cutlet, and spaghetti. I have to say everything was good, but I'd avoid the spaghetti. Rushed service, prices in line. The ladies' bathroom door doesn't close. Mixed decor...

They forgot our order, and we had to wait a long time to eat (we waited an hour, and then we asked, they'd forgotten...). Afterwards, they showed no courtesy at all. Horrible.

After a long walk from the World's second largest Cuckoo clock, we came to Marktplatz bus stop and entered this shop for having Pizza. Assumed like as the tourist hotels will have less quality and we ordered Pizza Vegetarish and Pizza Funghi. For a surprise, both the pizzas were extremely awesome, cheesy and hot. Taste was really wonderful, waitress and waiters were very kind and cared us well. Recommend this place for lunch time.

We were not allowed to pay by card.

The waiter slammed the soft drinks on the table and then spilt a full glass of beer on my kids' and wife clothes and mobile phones, which also went in their soft drinks. He asked us to move tables and was more worried about cleaning the table than the beer on my family. I asked him to change the soft drinks, but I think he just cleaned the glasses from outside and bought them back. We did not drink these. After this incident, he did not come out again. It was the worst service I have ever had and would not recommend this place for any tourists! AVOID!

Cash only with no sign or warning. Food was decent. It took awhile to take our order and there was only one other table. Now I know why it was empty compared to other places.

Nice service and goodies (gummy bears) But: The pizza resembled a frozen pizza, tasted a bit weird and had too much garlic, the pasta had far too little sauce, and the Bolognese didn't even taste like the ground beef. And you can't pay by card.

Watch out!!! They say you can pay with your bank card but after eating the cat is out of the bag and it is not possible. You have to go to the ATM. I had politely asked in advance if I could pay with my bank card. When you ask for the bill, you are snapped at by a lady on the terrace. She is the boss and she decides. Very very bad!

The food, especially the fries, was disgusting, and the sauce was terrible. The waiter was preoccupied, even though we were the only customers. We were in 2025 and had to pay in cash. So, not recommended.

Abysmal food. The guy gave us pasta sauce on top of bad quality spaghetti. On top of it, his server didn’t understand English and when we spoke to him, he did not object and told us card payment was accepted and didn’t get us the bill. After waiting for some time, we went inside to check what had happened to our bill. The guy at the reception was another level of rude. He said and I quote when we told him that we don’t speak German and we are tourists “I don’t speak English” with a rude tone - when he clearly did speak in English. These people should not be running a restaurant in a tourist town as this spoils the experience of a tourist - I would recommend people to avoid this restaurant in Triberg at all costs. We were forced to go despite bad reviews because everything else in the town closes early.

We ate here as tourists. The ambience from outside lured us in here. We were the only guests, which doesn't surprise me. There were still old food leftovers on the floor, the oils and salt shakers on the table were stuck together and completely disgusting at the opening. We ordered a beer and an apple juice spritzer, but were given apple juice... The two pizzas were inedible, had an indefinable taste and the egg on the pizza was still completely liquid. When paying, they simply took more cash and then got it back. I have a stomach ache... Not recommended!

The boss said that the card was not valid and we could not deal with tracking it. There were at least 20 people inside. Not everyone has to carry cash. Highly recommended! Anyone who writes a bad review here has definitely been somewhere else! Great service, friendly service, very fond of children and the food tasted great too. A restaurant that serves Italian meals. We tried spaghetti with tomatoes and Margherita pizza. They taste delicious, the workers are good and respectful, and the sinks and bathrooms are clean.

We stopped here for lunch with the children, luckily we had enough cash as they don't take card. The food was nice and service was good. We were pleasently suprised, we only stopped because the children wanted pizza but we all had a nice meal.

We were pleasantly surprised.... We decided to enter because there was nothing else open and despite the negative evaluations. The place is shabby, the waiter's attention is cordial and the food, which is the important thing, is quite good, both the pizza, pasta and salad. Not bad overall.

Very badly. There were 6 of us and, in principle, to have a beer. The waiter told us “this is a pizzeria, you can go to this one next door where they serve coffee.” By the way, the one next door was closed 😡. Don't stop there even for free!

We often visit this establishment. The good news is that they are one of the few who work late, while the rest have their hot kitchen already closed. The waiter is very friendly, orders are delivered quickly and everything is very tasty. The only downside is that there is no card payment, but there is an ATM nearby and you can quickly withdraw money.

First impression when entering the outside area wasn't the best. The waitress had already cleaned the tables and when we wanted to sit down the gentleman said we should sit in, but we wanted to sit outside and asked if we were not allowed to sit outside. Annoyed, the waitress said okay, oh well. Food arrived very quickly (almost too quickly), fries were good but a bit small, the cheeseburger was absolutely run of the mill, like from the local cheap delivery service, rolls not baked/toasted, very soft and limp, not great in taste and for 11 euros too expensive with fries, 8.50 would be more reasonable considering the price. Service was really unmotivated and not necessarily very friendly, gastronomic grade 5. The biggest drawback, however, is no card payment, only cash. Unbelievable in this day and age!
