Very nice restaurant right on the Osterbek Canal. There is a canoe rental shop next door, so there is always something to look at from the terrace.

Very nice local people and the prices are fair for such a location. It definitely makes sense to make a reservation, as the number of tables is limited. The breakfast is highly recommended but the warm food is in no way inferior.

We love to brunch here in the summer. The view of the canal is beautiful and the service is always excellent. It’s a lovely local place - a bright star along the Osterbekcanal.

Great place for a short vacation feeling. Beautifully located on the water, there is great food, very friendly service and a boat rental service next door. Barmbek at its best. Thanks!

Really now? Very pet friendly. It's a shame to find something like this in 2022. By the way, there is no food on the pontoon or vineyard. Drinks only.

Not recommended for my taste. The menu selection is good. According to the name it is supposed to be an Italian restaurant, but it also serves Indian dishes and is also run by Indians, which is completely ok. But the food is not good. The food is seasoned little or not at all. The interior is anything but inviting and there is also a dirty tablecloth. There were a lot of cobwebs on the wall and the hygiene also leaves something to be desired. So for me it was the first and last time.

This was by far the worst restaurant we have ever visited: Ordered a table over the Fork for New Year's Eve 24/25 with 30% off a la carte dining. However, only a menu was offered for 79 EUR/person, so there was no discount, since there is practically no possibility of changing restaurants at short notice on New Year's Eve, we were stuck there. The menu consisted of 3 courses, pancakes with salmon and cream cheese, cabbage with baby leaf spinach and potato gratin, although the leaf spinach was not available!?! hence a letscho vegetable and for desert a cinnamon parfait with red white plums... A wafer-thin, completely tasteless pancake with cream cheese straight from the packaging without any spices or any savory preparation, the salmon was edible. Judging by the consistency, the cod was probably frozen and was also unseasoned and completely tasteless (Käpt'n Iglo, on the other hand, is a pure delight for the palate), the potato gratin was a pile of fried potatoes gratinated with cheese, and the Letscho was cold and, oh wonder, also completely tasteless. When we asked if we could have a piece of bread, we were told that bread was not included in the menu and therefore none was available. In this case you have to say, thank God, there were ONLY three courses, the cinnamon parfait was an ice cream ball with cinnamon flavor and the red and white plums were obviously from a can. With the completely overpriced drinks (a small Heinneken beer 7 EUR, an Aperol Spritzer 15 EUR and a small still water 3.90) we came to an impressive 183.90 EUR. For comparison, in the neighboring beer bar - Eier Carl - you could get a large beer for 6.50 EUR and an Aperol for 8.90 EUR!!!! The evening before we went to an absolutely great restaurant not far away, the Fishing Harbor Restaurant, had an excellent à la carte meal and tasted several excellent wines and had a bill of 140 EUR including a tip To say the least, what you are offered here for this money is an absolute disgrace and the foolishness at the Fork advertising with 30% on a la carte and then only offering a menu is, in my opinion, bordering on fraud! I refrain from commenting on the “friendliness” of the staff!

Excellent cuisine, everything super fresh and aromatic - very high level! Service was also great, very attentive and on the ball. Atmosphere inside OK, could be a bit more comfortable, but pleasant lighting. Very good house wine.

If you like it tight, this is the place for you. The food, service and ambience are otherwise very good.

This is the worst of the worst, a restaurant that is only Italian in name, food that is light years away from Italian tradition, to be avoided if you want to eat authentic Italian food. They served us spaghetti that was not only overcooked but with stuff that had nothing to do with what we ordered, they brought a first and second course together, something never seen before! Stuff that almost deserves a report to the police, they won't see me again, not even with binoculars!
