Windburger in Berlin

The burgers were good. The fries were delicious. The service was okay. We were there at the end of November and it was exceptionally cold. The burger selection is limited, but there are plenty of vegetarian options. The prices are good! I can recommend it. I'd gladly come again.

Not the best burgers, but they still taste very good for a very fair price. 5/5 What I find somewhat strange, however, is that at the neighboring tables (this was in summer/autumn) people who seem to belong to a certain social circle would lounge around – without ordering anything, sometimes even outside the restaurant. Well, it's the owner's decision, but there's often a lot of trash lying around there…

This place is perfect for what it is, a simple basic burger with great taste! Prices / Quality 👌

Self-service without any frills Good fast food with some good (including vegetarian) options at affordable prices.

Ordering via Uber Eats went great. The burger was amazingly good, the hamburger was amazing. The fries were the best I've ever had. Salty, crunchy, and large. With mayo or ketchup, one packet isn't enough for the portion. They offer other fries and burgers. What I had, a hamburger and regular fries, was very good. For the price...good value for money.

In my opinion, it's a standard burger joint. Not worth the trip; there's probably another place with similar quality closer. But if you're not far away, I'd go back. It was delicious, and I love burgers.

The Windburger locations are really great. I always look forward to the sweet potato fries and the halloumi burger. But they have much more to offer than that. And at a very good price! I can recommend eating here to anyone who wants a burger or a small snack.

The patties are extremely thin, even a vegetarian might succumb to them = I'm being serious. The decor is simple and not designed for a longer stay ;) Sitting outside is okay, though, on a quiet side street. The food overall is very simple, so unfortunately, you can't rely on the reviews, some of which are exaggerated. I'll be getting burgers elsewhere in the future.

Megaburger, I haven't had a burger this good in a long time. As a chili fan, I absolutely had to try the chili cheese. It was incredibly delicious.

The price/performance ratio is definitely more than reasonable. The burger and fries were tasty, but nothing exceptional. The man at the counter was friendly and helpful.

Simply solid. Elsewhere, you can queue for a measly, expensive hipster burger, but here you can simply rip off a solid meal for a bargain price while watching spray-painted trains thunder by.

I have to say for me sofar the best burger I have eaten in Berlin. I've tried the known famous one not MCD of course. I don't eat that, but aller JMB... It taste not complicated but just natural if you know what I mean.

The citizens are super fresh and tasty, fries are perfect, even the chicken burger is tasty, prices are good, you can't do anything more!

This is the second location of this burger restaurant in Berlin. The food is of the same standard, everything is very good, fresh and well presented. The service is very nice, and the bathroom is clean and atmospheric. What stands out from the other place is the possibility of eating on the first floor, the atmospheric terrace upstairs has several tables with a nice view. The place definitely deserves the highest rating, but in my opinion the second location has a more atmospheric place and was more comfortable. It is also a bit more expensive, but these are very small differences, but they are there for a reason. The location is okay, close to tourist attractions. I definitely recommend it!

Update: 03/12/25 unfortunately remains awesome! 😜 Windburger on Skalitzer Straße is simply unbeatable! As usual, the burgers are amazing – juicy, perfectly seasoned and made with fresh ingredients. Price-performance ratio is absolutely right here, no rip-off, just honest enjoyment. If you want really good burgers in Berlin, there's no way around Windburger!

The(relatively) low rating is because their other branch in Charlottenberg is much better. The burgers are better, the seating and overall vibe too. This once’s nice too but feels like it’s being renovated or something. It feels sort of abandoned for some reason. And my burger didn’t feel so fresh either. Probably the meat was too dry. The service people are really friendly though. Nice and courteous.

been there with a friend. She had chicken nuggets and a chicken burger. And in the evening she had salmonella poisoning with severe stomach cramps and constant vomiting! Case for the health department!

I don't give 5 stars easily and I went out of my way to review this place because it's simply THAT. GOOD. Prices are amazing, food is even better, atmosphere is chill and it's clean. Service was very helpful, especially Timo who was one of the best customer service experiences I've had recently. Thanks, will definitely come again sometime.

Hello, we ordered via Ubereats! Unfortunately something was missing and one item was delivered incorrectly. Furthermore, chilli cheese fries are just terribly bad. Use sliced ​​cheese for this and no jalapenos, really bad! It's not worth ordering. From what it looks like the fries are going to be covered in the cheese and put in the microwave. This causes the packaging to stick to some fries! Really bad, not recommended.

Price performance is fair but here too a card reader suddenly no longer works. It seems to mysteriously happen to stores in Berlin quite often. Unfortunately, it always takes a little longer in the store due to all the inline orders that have to be processed.

Delicious and cheap burgers, lots of vegan burgers. The beeping from the buzzers is a bit annoying. But you can sit outside and it's a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, sometimes they are a bit busy and sometimes a small error occurs in the order.

All of their fries are good as well 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 love the vibe from the restaurant and the prices are really affordable too. Plus they have the BEST SOUR CREAM DIP IN BERLIN, BELIEVE ME GUYS!!! Whether classic, exotic or vegetarian – every burger is a little masterpiece. When it comes to value for money, Windburger exceeds my expectations every time I visit. The prices are more than fair for the quality and variety offered. It is rare to find such a high level at such prices. Been here several times, it’s a cheap and easy - no frills! It’s consistently decent. Always the same woman taking my order when I’ve been and she’s sweet :) downside is that it’s cash or Paypal only.

The prices are a challenge, in times when you can get €10 for a simple burger, I paid €15 for 2 burgers, plus coleslaw and cheese fries and it was tasty too. Staff was also very friendly. If you pass Görlitz train station, you should stop here.

Der Burger ist super lecker! Weiterer Pluspunkt: man kann trotzdem noch seine Miete bezahlen weil er nicht so überteuert ist wie in vielen anderen Läden in Berlin. Es gibt allerdings einen Punkt Abzug weil man nicht mit Karte zahlen kann. Im Jahr 2023 unseres Herren. Sorry aber dieses alberne Beharren auf Barzahlung in Deutschland muss endlich aufhören, es ist absurd.

Ich hade den Veggie Cheeseburger und normale Pommes bestellt. Die Pommes sind super, crunchy und innen soft. Die Burger sind für Veggie Fleisch sehr gut. Das Bun ist qualitativ hochwertig. Auch die Proportionen stimmen. Der Burger ist ehrlich, lecker und saftig. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Da Heinz Ketchup kürzlich von Ökotest Note 6 erhalten und damit einen Totalsausfall hingelegt hat, fände ich es gut, wenn ihr da eine Alternative anbieten könntet.

Preisleistung stimmt hier. Man bekommt qualitativ nicht das beste Essen (Chicken ist TK, wahrscheinlich auch das Beef), der Geschmack stimmt aber. Portionen und Preise sind unschlagbar.
