S1 Spreeburger in Berlin

Attention, I'm reviewing the delivery service/online ordering option directly on their website, not the restaurant itself! The food is great, though not exactly cheap. We've been ordering (or rather, used to order) regularly from here for many months. But unfortunately, it's happened several times now that we could order and pay online (sometimes there was a confirmation email, sometimes not) – even with a pre-order time – and then... nothing happened. No phone call, no email, and even calling ourselves was unsuccessful 90% of the time (voicemail or no one answered at all). The money was always refunded without any problems the next day, but we were still left without a hot meal. I'm sorry: These days, if there's a staff shortage, you can simply deactivate the ordering function or put an information box on the website. But this, repeated occurrences, are unacceptable. It happened again today, and this was definitely the last time. We're out. What a shame.

Last summer, we had to wait for an hour for our order. The burger was good but it's not worth it to wait that long. Not again.

The service was very friendly, pleasant, and attentive. Beautifully located on the water, the interior kept a rather classic, simple style. The burgers were delicious. We'd be happy to come back.

A rustic restaurant on an "old" ship. In the summer, the seats on deck were even better than the seats below deck, where it was sometimes quite cold. Nevertheless, the burgers were of very good quality, and the service was warm, friendly, and attentive. We were even lucky enough to get something just before closing time. We'll definitely be back. Solid Burgers but you have to fix your reservation system. Booked a table and drove an hour to the restaurant only to be told that there’s a private event happening and no reservations are accepted. Not cool

We were there for the first time yesterday, and the atmosphere on the boat and the stunning sunset were, of course, fantastic. We were told in advance that it might take a little longer. That was okay with us. The food was first-class, truly amazing: amazing burgers, amazing, delicious fries, and the only thing that could have been better was the service. We had to wait a long time after our meal to pay, but otherwise, it's absolutely recommended.

We had reserved a table. After 55 minutes, I asked the waitress if we could order drinks. No apology from her – nothing. (The people at the table next to us arrived at the same time as us and left after we ordered because their orders hadn't been taken.) A full 30 minutes later, the drinks finally arrived, and another 20 minutes later, the food arrived. About the food: It tasted good, could have been a bit warmer, but overall, it was good. About the service: Very slow (obviously), people were on their phones a lot, and almost everyone was relatively unfriendly and not attentive. About the ambiance: The ship is relatively cramped, so it feels like you're sitting on the laps of the people sitting next to you. The restroom is clean, but difficult to reach for people with walking difficulties. I hope we just caught a bad day, but it wasn't very busy. I won't be back.

Three of us went to Spreeburger for lunch. The service was friendly, and both the drinks and food were served quickly (although we and another couple were the only customers at the time). We had three different burgers (Gorgonzola, Bacon, and Avocado), all of which were very(!) delicious. The good food was complemented by the beautiful view over the water! We definitely recommend S1 Spreeburger!

The burgers are relatively inexpensive and taste very good. They also offer a beautiful view of the water. The staff is also friendly and attentive. Overall, highly recommended!

I highly recommend the breakfast (cheese breakfast and scrambled eggs) there. It was prepared quickly (okay, it was pretty empty on a Thursday morning). The waiter was very attentive and asked several times if we wanted anything else. The atmosphere on the ship is truly amazing! There are shelters on deck. Don't worry, it hardly rocks at all. ;)

A fantastic restaurant on a sailboat. You can sit beautifully by the water 💧 and watch the hustle and bustle on and around the river. The burgers were amazing, and the prices were great too 🇦🇸. What wasn't so great, unfortunately, was that we waited forever for everything, and then my wife's burger arrived 30 minutes after my meal, as everything else arrived very, very late. I'm wondering if two cellars are really enough, but I just want to offer some positive feedback. Regards, Alex

The burgers and hot dogs were delicious and fresh. The atmosphere on a boat moored at the shore is also fantastic. It's a great way to end your day near Köpenick's old town.

It's a really nice experience in itself! However, you shouldn't be in a hurry and shouldn't come hungry. We've been there several times now and always waited at least an hour or more for our food. If you know that, it's okay 👍🏽 The waiters are super friendly, and you can see they're very busy and hustling, so the service gets a bit overshadowed by the drinks. Still, a great experience. The price/performance ratio is okay! We paid €19.90 for a burger menu ☺️

Unfortunately disappointing !! Actually, I would have given 2.5 points, but since I was more dissatisfied than happy, only 2. The bun was too much toasted, which made it crumbly. The patty was homemade but too fried and the burger was very loveless. The Mozzarella sticks were unfortunately not homemade but classic TK goods. What was most annoying, however, is that you were waiting for exactly 50 minutes, although the shop was neither completely empty nor completely overcrowded.

A small breakfast early in the morning, perfect on this ship. A great idea when the weather's nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and our dog even got fresh water. It's really worth it.

We had to wait at least an hour for our burgers. One of us ordered a non-veggie burger – shortly after, we were informed that the restaurant was out of meat (??). When the food finally arrived, a few burgers had been swapped, which we only noticed when we took a bite. The waitress's response was, "Yeah, sorry." The staff's explanation was, "It's really crazy here right now." Sure, but the restaurant decides for itself how many people come in. If you're understaffed or simply poorly organized, you might want to think about it beforehand.

We had a truly pleasant evening! Top service! Friendly. Flexible. Prompt. The focus here is absolutely on the guest. Add to that the great atmosphere (the evening sun was shining and we were lucky with the other guests; it was a lot of fun...). The food was absolutely delicious! About the food: The burger patties are homemade and not frozen 👍🏻 The fries were NOT fried in old oil 👍🏻 The service, however, could be improved. Depending on the server, you may or may not get what you ordered, including cutlery, napkins, and sauces (ketchup/mayo), only after repeated requests. However, if there are any complaints, the manager personally takes care of the guests. The premises and restrooms are clean. At least once the team has received further training and the procedures have become second nature, there will be no room for criticism here.

The review refers exclusively to the ice cream sold at the grill stand, both belong to the ship and not to the beer garden. Honestly, 2 euros for a scoop of ice cream??? And then it's some ready-made pulp from the supermarket, as you can currently see with the hazelnut variety... Not even the two ice cream parlors in the old town are that expensive. It's a shame... The service was chaotic. You could order the first ice cream at the window, and then we had to order and pay for the second ice cream from the grill master, who then ran over again with a note. So we had to wait 5 minutes for a scoop 😩

Waiters are kind and Atmosphere is nice but today there we had the worst coffee ever. It was cold. We did not enjoy it at all. And price is too high for this kind of coffee.

Good burgers and fries in a nice atmosphere. Outside on the terrace in summer, in the rustic indoor area in winter. Service is generally very friendly and attentive, waiting time is a little longer. Unfortunately the vegan hot dogs and nuggets are not good. Here it would be advisable to produce your own food (alternatively breaded vegetables!?) or change dealers. What I always miss is salad... at least coleslaw or a simple green salad would be desirable as a counterpart.

Everything is wonderful and the atmosphere here in the ship is cool. I'd love to come back here. 🙂

Nice location, good location, nice service. As described there, it is not a fast food restaurant. The burgers are made fresh and that takes time. But the wait is worth it. If you like things spicy, I can highly recommend the Chilli Cheeseburger. The beef patty was 1A juicy and the buns were also excellent. I'll never say McDonald's again 😃 The same beef burgers are also available as a vegetarian version. We'll be back!

Very nice restaurant with a great view

We visited the whiskey festival in Köpenick and of course needed a proper foundation first 😎 We were immediately greeted in a friendly manner and I then decided on the menu (drink, curly fries, burger) with the Spreeburger. The burger was freshly prepared and tasted perfect. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just as they should be. For just over 20 euros a perfect price-performance ratio, and the location with a view of the water is great anyway. So gladly again!

Absolute top burger! The double cheeseburger was huge and really a poem. Second time here and the service was also good today. Our son was also thrilled and praised the burgers. On Sunday we were able to sit in the sun and enjoy the view. Burger top, service and ambience top!

A lovely boat restaurant on the river overlooking a kleingarten community. Every one of the burgers is amazing, both meat and vegetarian options are available with a homemade veggie potato patty or a beyond-meat option (the homemade is better). The fries portions are very generous and the onion rings are amazing. We go here quite regularly. As a word of warning, the boat is on the water, so is disrupted by the wake of passing boats. If you are extremely sensitive, sit below deck, I get motion sick quite easily but it has never stopped me from enjoying my meal. The staff are generally friendly enough and service is quite good enough, orders take 30 minutes when the restaurant is full.

Very nice burger restaurant right on the water. Service is very attentive and friendly. There is a bit of a lack of beer selection, for example there is no black beer. When the weather is nice you have a wonderful view on deck and can enjoy the day and evening. I'll definitely come back. Highly recommended.

A real insider tip! Just a burger restaurant on a boat?! Not very busy on a Wednesday evening with a great view and nice, humorous staff. I'm not from Berlin, but I'll definitely recommend it! PS: Even as a non-vegan, I recommend the vegan avocado burger!

Tried the fries menu and the sweet potato fries menu once. Very tasty selection of burgers. Both types of fries were great. Were able to sit on top of the deck. Simply fantastic. Heineken and Gösser on tap are also really good. The service was also quick and very attentive.

Burgers, ambience and service 🍔 with attention to detail. We saw the ship by chance, were warmly welcomed and were allowed to choose a free spot. The young service staff were all, without exception, courteous and very nice. The burgers - cheeseburgers and crispy chicken burgers with fries were super tasty. Homemade is the name of the game here and that's why we'll definitely be back. The prices are appropriate, the ambience is special, all in all recommended. Many thanks to the entire team.

Everything is great, only the prices are above average. 1/2 liter of beer doesn't have to cost 5.50 and €15 for a not really big burger is also too much. In any case, neither of us were really full and had to order more. In the end we paid over 80 € for 3-4 beers per nose for two.... :-(

Unfortunately, it always takes at least 1 hour, regardless of whether you order five burgers or just one portion of fries. not again, it's not worth waiting too much.

Unfortunately I have to change my formerly good rating to a bad one. We haven't been there for a while and were very disappointed with the "service" today. After waiting half an hour without anyone coming to take our order, we let them know and asked if we had been forgotten. They then said that someone was coming soon. After some time had passed with no one coming, we left. (Incidentally, it wasn't very busy at that time) It's a shame, but we'll probably eat somewhere else first (like we did today).

We passed by here by chance and were immediately impressed by the offer. I had a vegetarian burger with Beyond Meat and it was really delicious! Both waitresses were really friendly and the atmosphere right on the water is simply beautiful! Absolutely to suggest.

Service is an absolutely disaster. 2h15min for a burger and a beer. Although burgers are good and place is nice, it’s not worth. Waiting +20min even to pay. Couple left after waiting and no one came for the order.
