Wildpark Hotel in Bad Marienberg (Westerwald)

Zimmer mit 90er Jahre Feeling. Anhand von öffentlichen Fotos ist zu erkennen, dass es auch neuerlich renovierte Zimmer gibt. Wir hatten aber einen schönen Balkon. Zimmer und Badgröße recht ordentlich. Wartezeit an der Rezeption für Check-in und Check+Out (nur Zimmerkarte abgeben) Recht lang. Es müsste hier mehr digitalisiert werden, damit es schneller geht. Frühstück war sehr gut, aber es hätte schneller nachgelegt werden können und die Kaffeeversorgung am Tisch könnte besser sein.

Wildpark Hotel wie der Name verrät, direkt am Wildpark der kostenlos zu besichtigen, und ein kleines Highlight, ist. Ganz in der Nähe auch der Kletterwald und der Basaltpark. Das Hotel verfügt über ein schönen Wellnessbereich hat ein sehr gutes reichhaltiges Frühstück und Abendessen,wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Ein absolut perfektes Geburtstagswochenende – 5 Sterne plus! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ich habe das Arrangement „Wohlfühltage“ als Geburtstagsüberraschung für meinen Mann gebucht und unsere Erwartungen wurden in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen! 🤩 Das Hotel hat meine Sonderwünsche im Vorfeld absolut grandios umgesetzt. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Frau Sandra Jung-Idelberger für die tolle Unterstützung bei der Buchung! Am Geburtstag (23.05.) meines Mannes wurde morgens ein wunderschöner, extra organisierter Kuchen aus der Konditorei inklusive einem Glas Sekt am Frühstückstisch bereit gestellt. ❤️-lichen Dank Sabine und Frau Linke. Die Überraschung ist perfekt gelungen und mein Mann hat sich riesig gefreut! Ein weiteres Highlight war unser Besuch im Beauty Center gegen Mittag: Die Ganzkörpermassage bei Frau Hilda Farkes war einfach spitze – hier fühlt man sich sofort bestens aufgehoben. Abends wurden wir beim Candle-Light-Dinner im Restaurant kulinarisch verwöhnt. Ein großes Lob an Francesco und das gesamte Küchenteam, die flexibel und super sympathisch auf unsere Essenswünsche eingegangen sind. Das komplette Personal im Hotel ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, die Komfortzimmer sind makellos sauber und der Service lässt keine Wünsche offen. 🫶🏼 Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team des Wildparkhotels für diesen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wir waren über das Wochenende in diesem Hotel. + gutes Abendessen + schönes Schwimmbad und Sauna im Haus + Lage und Umgebung - Betten: Federkern drückt sich in den Rücken - Flur: Wasserschaden und Flecken an der Wand, die bis ins Zimmer reichen. - Abendessen: Im 360° Restaurant muss man mit fremden Personen am Tisch sitzen. - Frühstück: Es gibt nur Standard Filterkaffee und keine Auswahl an hochwertigen Spezialitäten. Fazit: Für ein 4 Sterne Hotel erwarte ich bequeme Betten und besseren Kaffee!

Also ich bin mit dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hier sehr zufrieden. Ich wurde freundlich bedient und empfangen. Das Essen im Restaurant war auch absolut super und nicht so teuer. Ich musste auch nicht warten obwohl ich nicht reserviert hatte. Der Wellnessbereich ist ein Highlight und ist absolut sauber und zu empfehlen. Es ist im Zimmer eine Tasche mit Bademantel und ausreichend Badetücher vorhanden. Ich war jetzt zum zweiten Mal hier und werde wieder kommen!

Sehr gutes Hotel. Zimmer sind sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Es gibt auch eine gefüllte Minibar, Wasserkocher und Instantkaffee. Der Spa-Bereich ist mit Sauna, Dampfbad und geheiztem Schwimmbecken gut ausgestattet. Es wird überall sehr auf Sauberkeit geachtet. Das Service-Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücks Buffet ist sehr reichlich ausgestattet und es wird immer rechtzeitig aufgefüllt. Auf Wunsch sind verschiedene Kaffeesorten erhältlich. Nachteile: wir hatten extra ein Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht, um dort zu rauchen. Rauchen ist aber auf dem Balkon verboten. Die Kopfkissen waren etwas unterdimensioniert und das TV Programm hatte auf einigen Sendern Störungen.

Gutes Hotel, Frühstück gut, faire Preise an der Bar, Parken auch prima. Leider keine Ablage in der Dusche und Fernsehprogramme waren chaotisch sortiert.

Wir haben zum 3. Mal das Restaurant besucht aber nicht da gewohnt. Das Essen ist gut, der Service sehr gut und Änderungen wegen Allergien etc kein Problem. Einziges Manko diesmal: es lag Schnee der vorm Hotel kaum geräumt war. Es war sehr glatt und gefährlich zum Auto zu kommen.

Viele Besucher am Wochenende im Wildpark

Mein Mann und ich sind schon häufiger zu einem Kurzurlaub in diesem tollen Hotel gewesen. Neben der exponierten Lage mit wunderbarem Ausblick und dem Wildpark direkt nebenan sind die außergewöhnliche Herzlichkeit, Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit aller Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen für uns immer wieder ein Anlass, dort ein paar Tage zu verbringen. Dazu kommt die hervorragende Verpflegung (wir buchen deshalb immer Halbpension), angefangen von einem Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offenlässt, bis zum Abendessen, das immer abwechslungsreich und köstlich ist und für jeden Geschmack etwas zu bieten hat. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Schönes Hotel mit tollen Zimmern. Klasse Pool und ein sehr schönes, umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet. Wir kommen wieder, danke.

Super Lage, direkt am Wildpark & Kletterwald gelegen.

I don't think the room was ready yet, as there were no towels. I only noticed this in the morning and dried myself with my bathrobe.

The staff were very helpful; the only thing that could have been improved was the spa area, where they could have replenished the towels and bathrobes. The water was quite cold, especially if you want to swim in the outdoor pool in winter.

Great elevated location with panoramic views, especially from the revolving restaurant in the afternoon with coffee and delicious cake. Free wildlife park right next to the hotel with cute alpacas, goats, sheep, and more. For relaxation, there's a sauna and indoor/outdoor pool 👍

I'd call it the Wild Chlorine Hotel. It's very run-down and the whole complex smells like an old lady's house plus chlorine. The "wellness area" is a joke; the water dispensers there could be in a war zone... awful.

We had breakfast here for the first time today and will be back very soon! The breakfast buffet was more than ample. Even on a weekday, the selection was extensive and left nothing to be desired. From fresh fruit and vegetables to muesli and a variety of cold cuts, cheeses, and salmon – the selection was huge. A pot of coffee and milk, as well as sparkling water or juice, rounded everything off. The service was attentive, and everything was replenished promptly. The reception staff were fantastic and always happy to help with any questions! A great team; we felt incredibly welcome. Thank you so much, and see you soon!

Very beautiful, idyllic complex

The Sunday lunch in the revolving restaurant is highly recommended. It's very good value for money and offers a wonderful view.

I stayed overnight on a business trip. The hotel is in a fantastic location, and the service and ambiance are perfect. All of this, along with the beautiful natural surroundings, makes me want to spend a vacation here!

Also highly recommended for a grandma/grandchild weekend. The zoo is lovingly maintained. The highlight for the grandchildren was the climbing forest. An adventure even for little stinkers. Breakfast and dinner were very good, and the 360-degree restaurant was an exciting adventure. It fascinated us adults too. We'll see each other again 👍🏼

great swimming pool, has more to offer than expected

I've been there twice, once for business and this time for pleasure! I personally really liked the fact that the wildlife park is right outside. The surrounding area is definitely perfect for hiking. But if you want to explore the area, you should definitely take a car.

Very good hotel, extremely clean, super friendly staff, delicious food, especially the cake in the 360-degree restaurant. The wellness area and pool are very large and almost never crowded. With the wildlife park next door, there's always something to see and do. The hiking trails are also highly recommended!

The family has celebrated here twice. We didn't sleep here, but our relatives stayed for two nights. The rooms have 60s-style carpeting? That's not exactly hygienic. The waitresses in the hotel are almost all young girls. Sorry, but they're way too slow and obviously overwhelmed quickly. Whether serving champagne at the reception, at lunch, or for coffee and cake in the 360° revolving restaurant. Ordered a chocolate cake at the counter (where there was a whole cake!!). Waited 10 minutes, and then she came back and said the chocolate cake was empty?! Had an Aperol Spritz without ice or orange placed on the table without comment while I was in the bathroom. It's not without reason that the restaurant industry is a vocational training program ;) The location is top-notch. It gets a ☆ for that, and the food is also very good ☆! Unfortunately, the service could be improved.

The hotel itself is showing its age and needs a renovation. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and of good quality. The surroundings are fantastic, with a wildlife park and a climbing park right on the doorstep.

Today we visited the zoo where the hotel is located. We had lunch outside. It was incredibly delicious and freshly prepared. My daughter had a tick, and the hotel staff were super friendly and helped us out with tweezers. Thanks again, and thumbs up!

We went there for a buffet meal in the 360-degree revolving restaurant. The food was very good, and the view over the wildlife park was beautiful.

We really enjoyed it. The food and service were excellent and very friendly. We were almost alone at the Drehcafe and enjoyed it. The wellness area was very good, and the massage was excellent. Two minor things that bothered us. Unfortunately, there's nothing to hold onto to get into the outdoor pool, and the last step is higher than the others. As someone with walking difficulties, this was a bit dangerous. We couldn't use the balcony very well because there was a pipe with smoke nearby, and it smelled like a campfire the whole time. Luckily, we had air conditioning in our room. We would come again.

We booked a “time out from everyday life” for 5 days, 4 nights there and got it 🫶🏼. We recovered wonderfully and enjoyed our stay thanks to the good service and the really good food. A small drawback was the unpleasant smell from the bathroom. The room was otherwise very nice and we particularly enjoyed the view. We'll definitely be back💞

A great hotel with first-class, friendly but never intrusive service. First-class wellness area with saunas, swimming pool and spacious relaxation areas. Breakfast and kitchen are also first class, well-equipped seminar rooms.

We booked a long weekend at the Wildpark Hotel at short notice and were very satisfied. The room was very clean and spacious, the staff was very friendly and attentive, breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Because we liked the hotel so much, we had dinner there twice, contrary to our original plan. Very tasty both times. The evening buffet in the 360 ​​degree revolving restaurant in particular is highly recommended in terms of price/performance ratio. We were also happy to use the small but nice indoor swimming pool twice. We booked directly through the hotel's website. It worked very well and was cheaper than on the booking portals, where we always find out about the accommodation at the destination in advance.

The hotel is quietly located in nature. There are enough parking spaces available. The rooms are clean and up to date. The food and breakfast are good. Everyone will find something. The wellness area is attractive and a good size. I'd love to come back.

Unfortunately we are a bit disappointed with this hotel. The rooms are pretty much the same, just a bit run down. The wildlife park is also beautiful. But the wellness area doesn't work at all. Far too small, very dirty and the sauna is very narrow.

We were three women over the weekend. “I’ll be away then!” at the hotel! From the advice I received when registering by phone and email, I was once again impressed by how friendly and quickly they made suggestions and offers to me! A massage had already been booked so we didn't have to worry about it! I was there once with my school class in 2019 and we were thrilled! Check in quickly, friendly and hassle-free! You immediately feel at home! There is also laughter, which shows that the staff certainly feels comfortable there too! Rooms nice and clean! Small balcony with a nice view, which is definitely great in summer! Small defects in the shower and faucet, which can certainly be fixed shortly! Water, wine, bag with bathrobe and towel in the room! Unfortunately the light in the hallway didn't work and the elevator had difficulty! Since it was the weekend, only limited help could be provided, but the staff couldn't do anything! Perhaps it would be helpful to generally have a fitter in-house, but it would certainly be expensive! Swimming pool very nice, also with outdoor area! Water should be a little warmer! Sauna very pleasant! Steam sauna wasn't always on??? Also the light tent??? Maybe add some tips on how and when you can use it! Tea and water available 👍! On Friday evening we were alone, on Saturday it was so crowded that there was no place to sit or lie down and there were no hooks for hanging up bags and towels, which could still be improved! Buffet dinner, nice selection and delicious! Drinks are extra, that's ok! Reserved seats in the evening 👍👍 Service excellent!!!!!! I would like to highlight Marvin with his warm manner that makes you feel welcome! But you can only praise the entire staff, friendly and very attentive, no matter what time! Breakfast buffet very tasty and something for everyone! We especially liked the little rolls because you can try different things! Saturday evening in the revolving restaurant the buffet was also very plentiful and good! Fresh supplies were constantly being added! Nice to be able to see over the Westerwald in the evening! A delicious cocktail from Marvin was served in the bar and we were completely satisfied! We'll be back 👍♥️

This hotel fully corresponds to its category. We didn't expect a kettle for coffee or tea provided. The room (401) is spacious and very bright thanks to its corner location with a surrounding balcony and large windows. The small whirlpool has its charm. We particularly liked the 360 ​​degree restaurant again! However, we found the advance payment when checking in very annoying. That doesn't work at all!!! We then skipped any dinner.

Dreh restaurant and adjacent park and view are great

We were only there for the 3-course monthly menu. The dishes were quite disappointing, both visually and taste-wise. The pumpkin cream soup was carelessly prepared and there was no trace of creaminess. The other courses could also have been done better and more beautifully as a hobby chef at home. (Unfortunately) No comparison to the Parkhotel, which is far better

Visited you for breakfast for the first time. We really liked it, the selection leaves nothing to be desired. The rolls from Wäller in Bad Marienberg are excellent. The staff at the reception and in the dining area are very friendly and always at eye level. We will be happy to recommend the hotel. Will definitely come back.

The Wildpark Hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel, but seems to be getting a bit old. Access to the guest rooms requires the use of the correct elevator and a good sense of direction in the winding hallways. I was also surprised that there were actually still single rooms, which are actually no longer being built these days. The room itself wasn't exactly large in size but was perfectly adequate for one night. The breakfast offered corresponds to the usual standard and had no particular highlight. Conclusion: you can do it, you don't have to do it.

The Wildpark Hotel thrilled our tour group (10 people)! From the friendly arrival greeting and the smooth check-in, to the rich and delicious breakfast buffet and the culinary menu selection in the evening (big praise to the kitchen for the precise, very tasty steaks and fish dishes) to the very nice, attentive staff to the clean rooms and the well-equipped wellness and fitness areas... All of our wishes were fulfilled! "A highlight was the coffee + cake stay in the revolving restaurant with a very nice all-round view :)" We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing you again...

Our stay at the Wildpark Hotel was overall pleasant. The staff was friendly and the price-performance ratio was right. When we arrived we received a 5 euro voucher for the in-house restaurant, which we forgot to use when paying in cash in the evening. A minute later we asked for subsequent redemption, but were told that this was no longer possible. A solution could certainly have been found here out of goodwill. The food was good and fairly priced, but the rejection of the voucher left a bad aftertaste. Our reservation at the restaurant at 8 p.m. was problem-free, but the service/processing became increasingly slower as the evening progressed, even though we were among the last guests. Unfortunately, the Kneipp pool in the wellness area was empty. Additionally, more hooks for towels would increase convenience. When we checked out, when we asked whether we had a pleasant stay, we said so. It was received nicely but there was no friendly gesture here either. Unfortunately, it's often the little things that leave the biggest negative aftertaste. Overall, we only give it 2 out of 5 stars due to the mood. Maybe we'll book again at some point - then gladly without a voucher!

The hotel was described online as having beautiful views, air conditioning and a gym. Our view was of a parking lot, only a few rooms had air conditioning (which apparently didn't work). The fitness room was from around the 80s. The shower cubicle was completely calcified and the doors didn't close because the sealing rubber wasn't tight. Far too expensive for the price of €169 per night. Never again!

Have from August 24th. - Slept in the suite for one night on 8/25/24 (for €239 including bed and breakfast) Unfortunately, the suite is not recommended, it's not because it's getting a bit old. However, it hasn't been cleaned properly for a long time. It's ok that the whirlpool is a bit worn... However, there were countless dead insects in the lamp, the toilet has residue that has been in there for a long time and couldn't be removed with the toilet brush. Finger paws on the bathroom walls and doors, curtains faded & stained in the minibar there was still food from the guests in front of us. Door to the balcony, the moldings at the bottom are dirty, thick dust in the pictures, in total for such a room for the price it is clearly too much. (that was just an excerpt) The whirlpool invites you to stay in your room during the day. However, you have the feeling that upstairs is being renovated. Endless noise. The revolving restaurant is just above the suite. I also mentioned the things at checkout and was told she would let housekeeping know. Next time it would be fine if we came. Afterwards I thought it was a bit weak, perhaps we could have "apologized" for the totality of things in the form of a consumption voucher or something and we would have left with a better feeling. The fact that such a room is treated so poorly is more than a shame and considering the price, it's a bit bold to rent it out like that. We found the staff to be very nice, the location and the breakfast were good. I can't say anything about the other rooms. The suite is not recommended at all. Service only 2 stars because, in my opinion, the “reception” did not deal with the “defects” professionally enough.

I'm off…. Highly recommended!👍 We spent a weekend here and had a room with a jacuzzi. Only recommended. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and the quiet environment was perfect for a weekend in the countryside. We will come again.

We have been coming to the Wildpark Hotel for some time. This time we spent our honeymoon there. We had a wonderful stay again. Many thanks to the entire staff. The food was, as always, excellent. See you next time.

The location is fantastically beautiful, the rooms are well-equipped and clean. There are lots of great things to do with children in the nearby area. In terms of cuisine, you'll find averagely tasty things here and the service staff sometimes seem overwhelmed. If you wait 25 minutes for scrambled eggs at breakfast, that's a no go. The wellness area is nice, but could be better maintained and cleaner. Fresh towels for sauna guests are in short supply.

We went to the panoramic restaurant for coffee. There were only 2 different cakes and a single slice of cake when it opened at 3pm. The coffee was thin but was made again immediately after the complaint. The restaurant rotates 360 degrees within 1 hour and 16 minutes. View is great. Air in the restaurant warm and bad. The impression of the restaurant was rather poor. Staff friendly but inattentive you had to go to the counter to order new ones. Toilets small and cramped. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible using a small, slow elevator. There are very clean toilets in the basement of the hotel, including a disabled toilet.

We had dinner there in the restaurant. Ambience not my taste, but objectively good. Very friendly service staff. The food was mediocre. The quality does justice to the ambience and the prices.

Went there for coffee. Simply beautiful.

We had booked an arrangement and were extremely satisfied. Everything was clean, everyone was very nice and the food left nothing to be desired. We announced in advance that we would be traveling with an e-bike and would need somewhere to park. That worked perfectly, our bikes were in our own garage. We will definitely book there again to explore the Westerwald from there.

I was very disappointed. 1. I had a broken bathroom fan - it sounded like a tank when you stood in the shower. I reported that it was very unpleasant, I couldn't get another room because there were only higher priced ones, I have no idea why that wasn't done in such a case. Instead, a technician was supposed to come the next day, I don't know if he was there, the annoying noise hasn't changed. 2. I travel a lot and in most 4 star hotels there is at least 1 bottle of water available in the room for free. Here you could only take a 0.2 liter bottle from the minibar, which was overpriced. 3. The room itself was very spacious, the bathroom was very narrow, you have to be an athlete to get into the shower without touching any objects.

We were there on business with a larger group. The rooms and the hotel are very clean and well maintained. The dinner and breakfast, which was provided as a buffet, was very tasty. In the evening we wanted to end the evening at the hotel bar. The condition was very slow and unfriendly. We were there in 2022, I think hopefully something has changed. Otherwise we were all very satisfied. The small wellness area is enough to relax after stressful days.

Beautiful hotel with a view. Service and food was good. Unfortunately the Panorama 360 Degree Restaurant was closed.

Very nice, clean and well located hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location in the wildlife park is great for children!

Nice hotel . Apart from the bathrooms, there is nothing left to be desired here.

Just had the pleasure of the wellness area... But it was clean, comfortable and relaxing... By 6 p.m. you almost have the area to yourself...

Room 212 Suite, with 90 sqm. Very large, huge living/dining room with fireplace. Large bedroom, very nice bathroom, with whirlpool and "guest" toilet. A kitchen that no one needs and there aren't any dishes. All cupboards empty. The coffee was expired, 3 bags of sugar and two bags of tea. Everything is not only outdated, but already way past it. The massage was very good and the young woman was very nice. The food was excellent and the staff was nice too. The other wellness area was okay but there weren't enough loungers. (7 loungers and 4 chairs, with 75 rooms) We wouldn't recommend the "4" star "Wellness Hotel" and wouldn't visit it again ourselves.

Booked a pampering day. Unfortunately the steam sauna didn't work. Otherwise it was pleasant.
