We ordered Kaiserschmarn, which cost €18, and wasn't worth it. The service was terrible and clearly had little enthusiasm for their job. Accordingly, there was no tip, and the woman shook her head. No goodbye, and loud gossiping with colleagues about us only ordering Kaiserschmarn and nothing more.

Bad service! We had already eaten and drunk a lot at another restaurant shortly before and were determined to try the Kaiserschmarren for dessert because the reviews looked good. When we arrived, a short waitress with a bun served us. Since we were very full, we only ordered one Kaiserschmarren, the portion already looking large in the picture on the menu. The waitress asked us in a cheeky tone if we wanted any drinks. When we said "not for now," she didn't even answer us and simply left. We planned to eat first and order drinks later. Shortly afterward, another customer sat down next to us. The same waitress then came over and took our menu and the remaining cutlery and gave it to the other customer (who had ordered a main course). There were several other tables that still had menus and cutlery. Therefore, the service and the food were poor, and I decided not to leave a tip because of this. The waitress didn't reply to my goodbye and shook her head. Afterwards, she went to another waiter and complained about how anyone could order just one dish. Our visit only lasted 20 minutes! I'm definitely not going back.

The food was outstanding: the pork knuckle was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the potato dumplings were perfect, and the sauce was to die for! The wheat beer also arrived chilled and freshly tapped. The service was attentive, friendly, and typically Bavarian. You can tell the passion they put into their work here. A must for anyone looking for hearty food and Bavarian flair – I'll definitely be back!😍

The service is the worst in Germany. The waiter is rude and rushes you through your order, and the food is bland. As a customer, they charge you for the bathroom fee, claiming it's a tip. They ask you to leave if you don't spend more than €100. The prices are also very high for the area...a terrible experience.

Worst restaurant in Munich, the schnitzels aren't veal, only chicken with tough pieces of fat, or pork. Served with uninteresting frozen fries. It's not worth the price, and I don't understand all the positive reviews. Only the beer is worth it!

When I said I wanted to pay by card, I was asked to accompany the server inside the restaurant. I was shown my bill on the computer and asked if I wanted to tip. I said no. The server was surprised and said something like, "Are you...(didn't catch what he said)?" In short, I was pressured to tip for unexceptional service. Also, Google Maps had the wrong information. There was hardly any dish less than €22! Plus, when I asked for tap water, he said they don't have tap water, only still or sparkling!

I doubt the veracity of the positive ratings. Check it out on tripadvisor instead. Tourist catcher! 17 euros for frozen fries and a sausage with sauce. The waiter seems more interested in sitting and chatting with his colleagues than in working, And even when we want to go to the toilets of the establishment, a lady asks us for money. At this price, go eat a good kebab with fresh produce.

If you want delicious sausages and beer, this is the place. The waiter was also very friendly and served the customers. Both my husband and I fell in love with this restaurant right away.

I really liked the roasted pork I got. Was cooked perfectly and the texture was great. I Especially liked the gravy sauce that came with it. In hindsight I think I would’ve gotten the other side option but I still liked the potato dumpling. The seating area is really nice and the view of the area around it can’t be beat. Has a lot of outdoor seating.

Otherwise it works?! Just as we were sitting down, someone came to us and asked if we wanted to order anything. We wanted a beer, that was clear. So I said “first have a beer”. They replied that if we didn't eat, we weren't allowed to sit here and drink a beer. It's just strange that there were people sitting at the next tables with just drinks. It looked to us that some people just wanted to drink and not eat. Nevertheless, you can order something to drink first and then decide whether you want to eat or not

We stopped at Wildmosers Restaurant-Café in Marienplatz for a few beers and some good people-watching, and it was the perfect spot for both. Right in the heart of Munich with beautiful views of the square, it’s a great place to take in the atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient, and the steins were cold, full, and exactly what you want in a Bavarian beer stop. A great place to relax and soak in the sights!

However, the waiter not only did not correct me when I said I wanted to add 1 euro to tab (must pay separately the lady downstairs) but then he also asked me for a tip on top of that. So, unwittingly tipped him 22% and I paid all cash (he told me card only for at least 30 euro bill which I doubt is true). For terrrrible beer. Go only for view

This has to be the most unfriendly waitress ever. We ordered our drinks and were immediately asked to pay, unlike the guests around us. Then came a guy to “straighten the tables”…all he did was check out our bags that we didn’t leave on the outside to prevent a ‘grab and run’. Must be suspicious if you want to be in control of your possessions. Also, we were never asked if we wanted anything to eat. I guess they don’t need to be nice to visitors when so many tourists come every day. Last time for me coming here.

Unfortunately, this restaurant was a big disappointment. We were drawn in by the many positive reviews on Google, but sadly, our experience did not match those expectations. The schnitzel and a simple cola were surprisingly expensive, and the service left much to be desired. Staff were generally unfriendly especially the hostess outside, who spoke to us in a very rude manner. Our waiter also made us feel uncomfortable by being overly pushy about the tip. When we left what we felt was a fair amount, he questioned it with a blunt “That’s all?” which felt very inappropriate. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We were there for dinner on Easter Monday. Unfortunately the food was a disaster. The dumpling was hard, not fresh, the sauce was oily, the meat was missing. I myself ordered chicken schnitzel with a side salad, the only salad that came was iceberg lettuce and 3 half cocktail tomatoes with dressing, 2 chicken schnitzels the size of my hand without fingers. I also claim that it was frozen food. I work as an assistant chef and know what is fresh. They charged an impressive 27 euros for this. Sorry, you'll never see us there again.

We were there on Tuesday with five people. The staff lacked any particular charm or enthusiasm. The cutlery had water stains and was partially bent. An empty plate for the youngest child was brought quickly, but it had to be dusted first. All in all, despite being on Marienplatz, the prices are too high. I won't go there again.

Sit outside at Wildmoser right on Marienplatz - the ambience is of course amazing, especially with a view of the Frauenkirche and the people around it. But: The service should give you about 10 minutes before you even get a menu. Not bad, but a little quicker wouldn't have been wrong. There were also a few street musicians outside who were pretty loud - romantic is different. And at the prices, yes my... mia san in Minga, but de san really salted. Conclusion: If you're looking for a city atmosphere and don't want to worry about stress with a short waiting time, you've come to the right place. But for a quiet snack you might want to go somewhere else.
