Great outdoor eating area just beneath the glockenspiel for people watching. Enjoyed a beer and a sausage sampler plate (suggested by our server, Singh), that was a perfect way to try several wursts and sides. Would recommend for a leisurely lunch.

Late night food! We came here after other places closed for dinner at 23h. Singh is a great guy. Fast service and friendly. Also, the view is incredible. Great for a last night in München.

The best thing about this place is the location, right in the Marienplatz. Super cramped seating outside, tons of people everywhere, noisy, but you're in the Marienplatz. Food was no better than average. In fact, they may have the thinnest, dryest schnitzel I have tried on this trip. Beers are good and plenty. If you just have to eat outside at Marienplatz . . .

I'm in Munich often. Wildmoser's restaurant exceeded my expectations. After ordering, my food came to the table relatively quickly.

We sat down at the table and, in the space of twenty minutes, we asked the waiters three times to come and take our order. The fourth time we asked for explanations and, finally, they sat us down again and my girlfriend asked for a cappuccino with soy milk, since she is allergic to normal milk. Unfortunately, however, the girl brought us a cappuccino with normal milk and when we pointed it out to her she told us that they do not have soy milk. When it came time to pay, they even wanted to be paid in cash.

Usually quite nice place, but we were sent away because we wanted to have a quick drink and not lunch. Just to state, it was not even close to full. A shame to see that service standards have dropped here.

Even though I only had something to drink, I was allowed to remain seated. But the service person wasn't exactly friendly. When the beer was brought, the bill was slapped on the table. Card payments are only possible from €30 onwards; this information is somewhat hidden on the card. The service person reacted a bit annoyed because I overlooked this notice. I think the prices for beer are excessive at €6.50/0.5l, especially with the unfriendly service staff. Location with a view of the town hall is great. Nevertheless, I won't go there next time I'm in Munich.

Herr Singh was so kind & professional. Great service & spot for a drink and viewing the Glockenspeil in the shade.

Food was average. Fries not so crispy but okay. However, the overall ambience of the restaurant was great. I will still recommend this place to people in Marienplatz!

The place is very nice and located right on the square, you can observe the surroundings calmly while eating your meal. Their burgers were very good, their fries were also good but a little salty, on the other hand, their beer was delicious. If I remember correctly, there is an Albanian employee whose name is MUSAJ and he is very friendly and helpful, I definitely recommend you to order from him. Prices are normal.

Disgusting service and disastrous food Our visit to the Wildmosers Restaurant-Café on Marienplatz was an absolute disappointment. I ordered a rump steak that was really terrible - tough and questionable in taste. I seriously hope I don't get food poisoning from this. To top it all off, after we had already paid €70 for the bad food, the waiter also emphatically asked for a tip. I've never experienced anything so bold! The service was poor anyway. If you want to eat in peace and good quality, you should definitely avoid this restaurant. There are definitely better options in the area.

Terrible experience. Already when we asked for a table they responded very badly. We sat down. We waited 40 minutes for them to take our order, attracting the attention of the waiter several times who in response went to smoke. We went into the room to ask if they could send us someone but there Response was worse than the waiter.

The worst restaurant in all of Miunich, the service is deplorable, we sat for 20 minutes waiting for table service, instead the waiters sat down to smoke a joint without worrying about the customers, too bad it's in the center and obviously the most crowded. I would never go back again. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Food not that great while expensive (but it is literally on the main square so it makes sense). Be aware of the mean woman downstairs where toilets are, she has zero manners while demanding 50 cents for the toilet.

You won't find a better place to see the town hall and the carillon and what is unusual is that in a place that is so central, the food is also good and the waiters are friendly too. The prices are also not exorbitant, like in other cities. Absolutely recommended.

The taste is very bad. The staff’s behavior is provocative, as if you are eating for free. The tables, reserving them, and the method of ordering are boring. A quarter of a star is a lot, especially the table reservation employee. I think he is Syrian, and his manner is very provocative.

It was busy, we went there with the family (including 2 small children). Had to wait a little. The waitresses and the toilet attendant were particularly nice. Extremely friendly and had a good sense of humor! Toilets were very clean and kept tidy :) Gladly again!

We were walking across Marienplatz and were thirsty, when we just wanted to have a drink here, we were told that it was very bad now, just something to drink, it was evening time and the tables were needed for customers who wanted to eat something. We were cashed straight away and told to leave the pitch in 20 minutes. Very bad this staff!! There was no tip from me and I will not visit this restaurant again. But the ambience was still very nice.

Ask for a tip while waiting for your change. Don't ask you if you were satisfied with the food Sweinhaxe was cold and there was hair in the potato! Continue to the next restaurant

Prices are reasonable due to its location. The salami pizza and the white sausages were not bad. However, we were startled when we paid - we were asked how much to add to tip. The staff explained that their boss allows them to ask but not mandatory. Toilet use is chargeable as well.

We were there on Saturday evening August 24, 2024 at 9:18 p.m. because it was very busy and were served by Adina. She was great Nice, accommodating, friendly, polite, just great service, all I can say is convince yourself! Thank you very much for the super nice hospitality! The view alone gives the feeling here in the evening. The lava cake is really delicious and definitely worth trying as a dessert.

The Wildmosers Inn is a real insider tip! The food was excellent, the service warm and the atmosphere cozy. We'd love to come back!

A tragic place. The waiter showed us a seat, we sat down, after 10 minutes another waiter came and, after hearing that we wanted a beer first, he said that we had to change the table because he would not bring us ONLY beer - the problem was that it was the only free table. After asking where we should sit, the waiter left... I recommend the place opposite - after passing through the town hall gate.

The Wildmoser at Marienplatz is a real insider tip! The atmosphere right in the heart of Munich is unbeatable. It's a wonderful place to sit, watch the hustle and bustle at Marienplatz and the food is simply great. Both the traditional Bavarian dishes and the beer are excellent. Perfect for a cozy evening or a short stop while strolling through town. Absolutely recommended! I can also only recommend the service👌

It's worth eating. It was the best choice for the menu I chose as I avoid salty foods. The espresso was really good too. And a place where you can feel the atmosphere of Marienplatz.

Average food, nothing special. But they don't agree with their prices, they seem expensive to me and the food arrived cold. Terrible service from the waiters, they make you wait a long time for EVERYTHING, to sit you down, take your order, bring you the food and don't even think about ordering another drink outside of your original order because they take too long. Apart from that, we had the terrible experience of two waiters fighting in front of all the customers. And yet, despite the terrible service, the waiter stays there waiting for you demanding his tip and gets upset if it is less than €10. The only good thing about eating there is the view, but it's not worth it.

We only ended up here by chance because we were very thirsty and actually wanted to eat a little something and there was a free place. Yes, of course it's more expensive than anywhere else because you're sitting right in front of the town hall. But the prices for the food, when you see what other guests get and how dissatisfied they are with it, is shocking. The service staff could also be more reliable, faster and better organized.

Unfortunately it is not recommended at all. The service was very unfriendly and didn't feel like working, unfortunately this was viewed very highly. The prices are very expensive and the portions are far too small for the price. Orders were received incorrectly, unfortunately no longer worth a second visit!
