An absolute gem in the city. Beer is delicious and the conditions are the friendliest I've had in a long time. Goulash soup was great and generally rustic inside, but there was also a nice opportunity to linger outside. Really an absolute tip, especially if you want to escape the Chiemsee prices

The waitress takes food and says when serving drinks that the kitchen doesn't open until 5:30 p.m. 👎 Food isn't great! Service not attentive.

It doesn't work at all!!! Tables dirty, no cutlery, sloppy, waited forever for service - older, blonde hair. Without greeting, when she was finally nearby, she first shitted at my nine-year-old son and told him he “shouldn’t mess around like that”. That was enough! We didn't get to eat anymore. Give this store a wide berth, I haven't experienced such impudence in a long time.

Very charming, nice service, delicious food, it was just a shame that four minutes after 9 p.m. we didn't get any desserts or even ice cream.

Highly recommended, were just there. The food was excellent, the service staff was extremely friendly and very quick (you must never lose these gentlemen). Our dog was also welcome and even received a bowl of water. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back.

Really nice Bavarian restaurant with German cuisine. Location is great, in a vaulted cellar, staff very friendly and nice. The food was excellent. Can only be recommended. The only thing I can't quite understand is the extra charge for changing a meal. Whether I order fried potatoes, fries or spaetzle shouldn't cost more. But this doesn't change these 5 stars, everything else was excellent.

Terrible food, has nothing to do with good Bavarian cuisine. Roast pork with a very thin sauce with no taste. Cream mushrooms were so stretched that you couldn't taste any of the cream. They were like a very thin soup and the mushrooms were a mixture of mushrooms that tasted like water. I only ate the dumpling and even that had no taste. The waitress was told exactly that, but she wasn't really interested. There was no apology and the full price was charged, even though the so-called cream mushrooms were returned. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the restaurant, neither the dishes nor the service.

The food was very tasty and the price was completely reasonable. The ambience is also rustic, the restaurant is comfortably located in the basement and has a traditional charm. The landlady was friendly and, above all, very quick. During peak tourist season, a table reservation is recommended. We have been here several times and would love to come back.

We had reserved our seats and knuckles the day before. The atmosphere in the 'dungeon' was rustic and appealing. Our waitress was charmingly friendly and constantly asked if everything was okay. The knuckles were delicious and the plates on the neighboring tables also looked very appetizing. The prices on the menu were normal and justified given the quality. Conclusion: We would love to come back!

Wenn ich für 13 Uhr eine Haxe bestelle, die gibt es nur auf Vorbestellung, dann erwarte ich dass sie dann frisch vom Grill oder aus dem Ofen kommt! Leider war sie außen total trocken, als hätte man sie Stunden warm gehalten! das war ein enttäuschendes Geburtstags Essen!

We returned there at 7 p.m. as part of our club outing with around 20 people. We had made a reservation, which was absolutely necessary, and everything was nicely prepared. Despite the large crowds, the food was served quickly and was very, very good. The service was also just great. Absolute recommendation, but better reserve!!

Was it because we only had something vegetarian?… Maybe we should try it again, in any case the Wieninger Bräu seems to be very popular. It is also regularly fully booked.

The food was tasty and the atmosphere is cozy Bavarian. But charging €18 for two slices of pork loin is outrageous. I ordered the dish because it was described as pork loin on the menu. When I asked, I was told stupidly that in Bavaria pork loin is the back of pork. I was born and grew up in Bavaria and have never heard that in my life. Even if that's the case, it should be in a tourist bar.

We bought cheese spaetzle to take away and got a spaetzle and cream mixture that was completely over salted and inedible. No trace of cheese. There was so much salt in the food that you could still see the crystals. When we complained, the waitress became loud and unfriendly. We asked them to give us the money back because we can't eat the spaetzle like that. She refused and said we can do whatever we want with the food. We threw away the entire portion. This was the second time we had bad food at this place. We will definitely never go there again. The 1 star rating that you have to give in order to post this review is already too much.

Very nice cellar restaurant with very good food. We weren't disappointed.

Me and my friend ordered cheese spaetzle to take away and then had to get cutlery because the waitress didn't want to give us any. Tried it outside and the supposed “cheese spaetzle” was completely soaked in cream and salt. In any case, these weren't cheese spaetzle. We wanted our money back for this abnormal and poor quality. Then the staff told us we had been gone for too long (10 minutes) and could do whatever we wanted with the cheese spaetzle. Simply outrageous. Cannot accept criticism. When there are problems, the staff is completely unfriendly and shouts! The one star rating is already too much.

I was there for lunch with my wife. We ordered a crusty roast with dark beer sauce at 1:30 p.m. After 5 minutes we got it. Meat looked very gray, dumplings were not homemade. Sauce was very light and we couldn't detect any beer taste. I'm a hobby chef myself and, as they say, not a bad one. But delivering a meal like that was very disappointing and was not an advertisement for the Bavarian cuisine that we had been able to experience in the previous days. Get well soon.

I am thrilled with this great restaurant. The food was really just great and super tasty! The service brought our orders to the table very quickly. I ordered the knuckle with dumplings and coleslaw, which you have to order a day in advance. And once the fish plate. Both dishes were absolutely top quality. Absolutely recommended!

We were here for a pork knuckle meal. They have to be ordered at least a day in advance and are then freshly prepared and absolutely perfect on the table. The rind is nicely puffed up and crispy, the fat is well fried. Delicious bread dumplings, gravy without Maggi and homemade coleslaw as a side dish. Really super tasty!

Das Restaurant ist in einem Gewölbekeller untergebracht, hat jedoch auch Sitzgelegenheiten Draußen. Auf dem Restaurant sitz das Wiesinger Bräu aus Freilassing, daher auch der Name. Das Ambiente wirkt teils Rustikal, teils wie eine Kneipe aus den 80´ern. Das Personal ist aus der Umgebung die zwar aufmerksam und nett ist, aber gerne "politisch Inkorrekte" Redewendungen benutzt und vertraulich duzt. Wem diese Nähe gefällt ist dort gut aufgehoben. Die sanitären Anlagen sind nicht die Neuesten, aber gepflegt. 3 von 5 Punkten Die Speisekarte enthält in der Hauptsache gut Bürgerliches ohne Überraschungen, ein bayerisches Lokal, das auch gerne Einheimische zum Mittagessen oder für Feiern nutzen. Die Preise sind normal im bayerischen Vergleich, ohne einen "Touristenzuschlag" den ich in Prien am Chiemsee erwartet hätte. Der von mir bestellte Zwiebelrostbraten, medium mit Extrawunsch (Pilzrahmsauce) kam gemessen am halb gefüllten Lokal zügig. Das Rindfleisch (250g) war in der Tat Medium rare, die Sättigungsbeilage in Form von Bratkartoffeln war knusprig. Ein bisschen Butter-/Dampfgemüse täte dem Teller noch gut, aber ein Salatblatt und ein paar Sprossen grünten den Teller auch auf. Der Koch schien ein wenig "verliebt" gewesen zu sein, etwas weniger Salz täte dem Gericht sicher gut. Gut finde ich, dass in der Pilzrahmsauce (Schwammerlsoß) frische Pilze Verwendung fanden. Es ist ja auch Saison :-) Alles in Allem war das Essen jedoch gut, eine 4 von 5 Punkten in meinen Augen. Fazit: Recht gutes Essen zu normalen Preisen!

Really good food and I'm very picky when it comes to schnitzel! The schnitzel has taste, both the meat and the breading. The beer is also very good. The waitresses are on the ball, friendly and also tell the guest if they are misbehaving with their dog. Hats off to you for that, I think it's really good. The restaurant is located in the vaulted cellar and is a little journey back in time, which I find very interesting.

Ich war ende September 2024 alleine im Wieninger Bräu in Prien a. Chiemsee. Das Personal war von Anfang an sehr freundlich und man bot mir einen schönen Tisch draußen an. Auch wenn man hier nur wenige Meter von der Straße entfernt sitzt, lässt es sich gut aushalten. Das Essen war für ein einfaches Wirtshaus sehr gut und wurde seinem Preis gerecht. Der Service erkundigte sich mehrfach, nach meinem Wohlbefinden. Auch der Gastraum innen sah sehr nett aus. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber und wurden augenscheinlich vor nicht all zu langer Zeit erneuert. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Abend und ich würde das Restaurant weiter empfehlen.

The water doesn't drain in the toilet, despite pre-ordering, the waiting time for the food was 1 hour, the waitress was snippy.
