Today the second visit. The first visit a few months ago without fault. A “waiter” was grumpy, but that was more than compensated for by his colleagues. Food perfect! It's probably very personal and not meant in a bad way...but friendly is definitely possible too. Today the wontons were wonderful, the main course with crispy duck was not good. Simplest fatty meat. Too bad. If I had known that, I would have happily spent 2 euros more on Barbarie Brust. Unfortunately, the service was mainly busy with itself today. There was enough staff, but the guest pays and not the cell phone or the colleague who is being spoken to. So: huge potential if the condition of the day is right. Everything else is great, everyone who comes regularly will know that Tip to the “management”: keep your eyes open and train your staff to stay with the guests. Highly recommended!

Absolutely recommended! We went to Wied Nam with friends this evening and were thrilled. The service was extremely charming, the food was excellent and the price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. We were particularly impressed by the tender duck meat and the delicious red Thai curry sauce. The restaurant offers a great atmosphere and was well attended - a sign of the great quality. We would love to come back!

Very good restaurant, high-quality and delicious sushi, great menu (not too much, not too little selection), modern atmosphere, good occupancy. Unfortunately, our starter was forgotten, but was delivered immediately after being spoken to. Can happen. For two people we had the sushi platter for two and a small appetizer, both of which were well filled. Reservation recommended. We'll be back.

We had dinner here a few days ago. The restaurant is always busy. And not without reason. The Vietnamese food is really good and came super quickly. The dishes are an eye-catcher and the ambience... really modern. Only the air conditioning and the pipes around it in front of the bar could still use some covering. Then it would be perfect. The food is very fresh and tastes excellent. Today we ordered soup and sushi for 2 people. Overall, we think it's rather expensive for the relatively small amount we received. Even if the quality is right. Compared to the portions others have posted here, there wasn't much that ended up in our bag.

We've been here a few times now and we're thrilled every time. The wok dishes are impressive. The sushi is absolutely recommended - very tasty fish. The dishes are all very well prepared - as we all know, your eyes eat with you. 👍

I really enjoyed eating there for a long time. However, I was massively disappointed on my last visit. I was there alone and sat at a table for four. As the restaurant filled up, I was asked if I would mind moving to a table for two. I thought something was wrong during the meal, but I complied with it. When I sat at the table for two and waited for my dessert, I was told that there had been a mistake in the planning and that this table was now needed. When I asked where I should eat next, there was only a shrug of the shoulders. Luckily, I was invited by the unknown table next door to sit with them to eat my dessert. In the end I wasn't even given a discount on the bill due to the circumstances. That was my last visit there!

Unfortunately it didn't convince me. I love Asian cuisine but the food just wasn't justified for the price.

As normal, simple dishes appear on the menu, you get very aesthetic, creatively arranged plates with a delicious choice of meat, vegetables and sauces that are different from the standard. You can also expect very friendly service and a nice, modern atmosphere here! Gladly again.

The staff is super accommodating and friendly! The food tastes great and is ready super quickly. The ambience is nice inside and out and you can enjoy the good food in peace! There was nothing to complain about anywhere. I would love to come back to the best sushi restaurant in all of Leipzig! :)

Sushi Wied Nam offers an impressive selection of fresh sushi variations that have something in store for both lovers of traditional varieties and guests who like to experiment. The atmosphere is modern and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed dinner or meeting with friends. Particularly noteworthy is the quality of the ingredients - the fish tasted incredibly fresh and the rice preparation was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The prices are reasonable for the quality you get.

Had dinner with my girlfriend in Restaurant Wied Nam today. It was a nice experience. The ambience and service were first class. Everything in the restaurant was harmoniously coordinated. We sat outside and wouldn't have gotten wet even if it rained. The service was prompt and always extremely pleasant. Our orders came in a reasonable time and were served on sturdy dishes. It was extremely tasty and is highly recommended on all counts

As always, it was very tasty. It was very crowded, so we had to wait a long time until we got the food. The service was very good, he took our orders quickly and our drinks came almost immediately! I have never eaten such delicious and fresh Vietnamese dishes. I ate the summer rolls as a starter and then had umami soy sauce with deluxe duck breast. Just amazing!!!

Unfortunately, the menu has been the same for years and it gets very loud in the dining room. Unfortunately, there is a lack of specialist knowledge in the service and, outside of the standard phrases, language skills. As a vegetarian you are particularly poor here as there are only a few vegetarian dishes. Normal dishes can also be served vegetarian, but are then smaller and more expensive compared to the cheapest meat option. You should then pay €3 for extra rice.

Since I was invited to a birthday party, the price part was rather unimportant. The food was very well arranged and tasted delicious. The friendliness, despite the large crowds, was always there. So a reservation makes sense in any case. The ambience is adapted to the hotel, with photos from past decades and much more. A visit is recommended and worthwhile.

I haven't had such good sushi in a long time. The atmosphere is very modern and yet very nice and pleasant. The service was super polite, the drinks were nice and cold and the homemade lemonade was very tasty. With the sushi you could tell that it was prepared by a professional. The quality of the fish was also excellent.

We ordered about 10 dishes from home. Nobody was really excited. Few vegetables and side dishes such as shrimp or tofu. It didn't taste particularly seasoned either. The price is far too high for that. Unfortunately you can't get close to good Asian restaurants like Vacay, Pholosophy or An Chay, where the dishes are better and cheaper. Unfortunately we won't be eating there again.

We had a reservation and that was a good thing because the restaurant filled up very quickly. Probably very popular. Versatile menu, very tasty and good value for money. Large, cozy restaurant near the Leipzig trade fair. Great selection of food and drinks. Overnight stay in the attached hotel possible at fair prices. You can spend the whole evening here and basically tumble into the nest and sleep.....great location.

A culinary highlight actually sums it up best. Discovered by chance on a trip to the beautiful East, you are overwhelmed by the delicacies; it was difficult to choose because everything looked really inviting. We sat on a comfortable bench and felt right at home in the modern restaurant. The food was extremely tasty. When I look at my photos now, I remember how much I enjoyed that day. We didn't need a reservation and were greeted and served by super-friendly staff.

I've certainly been to Wiednam 20 times, but the prices have now shot up to regions that the simple Vietnamese cuisine really doesn't deserve.
