Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, super freundliches Personal, obwohl direkt an der Karl Liebknecht Straße gelegen wirkt der Außenbereich sehr ruhig. Sehr empfehlenswert die Handmade Limonaden erfrischend und lecker. Das Essen kann ich nur empfehlen ich hatte eine Bowl mit Saitan Ente (Nr 43) auf der Karte und würde es jederzeit gerne wieder essen, die Portionen sind mehr als ausreichend und wenn man es nicht mehr schafft wird angeboten es einzupacken. Das Restaurant ist mehr als empfehlenswert, auch für nicht Veganer wie mich. Jederzeit gerne wieder einen Besuch wert.

Das Essen ist echt lecker, auch das Ambiente ist schön. Was mich echt stört, ist die Preispolitik. Wenn man im Internet bestellt, bekommt man bei Abholung 10 % Rabatt. Wenn man vor Ort bestellt und das Essen mitnimmt, ist dies nicht möglich. Auch gibt es ein attraktives Business Lunch Angebot. Jedoch auch hier gilt es aufzupassen. Die Preise gelten nur beim Verzehr im Laden.

Die große Wan-Tan-Suppe war wirklich lecker. Super schneller Service. Gute Auswahl an hausgemachten Limonaden.

Dankeschön, ich hätte mir gewünscht wenn bei Getränken die man bestellt hat die Früchte nicht mehr vorhanden sind, dass man vielleicht etwas anders angeboten bekommt. Zuerst möchte ich das tolle Pad Thai loben, dass ich sehr mag und regelmäßig bestellte über Wolt! Die Pad Thai Soße ist sehr lecker.

Das Essen war sehr lecker- sogar die vegane Ente! Es gibt auch eine kleine, aber sehr leckere und lohnenswerte Auswahl glutenfreier Gerichte!

Meiner Meinung nach das beste vegane Restaurant in Leipzig. Es gab nichts auszusetzen. Update: nach der Renovierung ist das Ambiente hier nochmal schöner und gemütlicher eingerichtet. Preis Leistung ist wirklich gut.

Ich liebe es, dass es dort nur vegane Gerichte gibt. Das Essen steht nach der Bestellung immer recht schnell auf dem Tosch und schmeckt immer herrlich.

Hab zwar nur bestellt aber muss eine Bewertung schreiben. Das war seit langem das beste vegane Essen welches ich gegessen habe. Ich hatte Happy Cow bestellt und der Geschmack plus Portionsgröße war perfekt. Danke dafür, ihr habt meinen Tag um 100% verbessert <3

Waren jetzt schon mehrfach hier und würden definitiv wieder kommen! Einfach leckeres veganes Essen, egal welches Gericht. Für jeden Geschmack sollte hier etwas dabei sein. Die Getränke sind auch sehr gut. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Bin enttäuscht, haben Essen bestellt und ein Teil kam nicht. Nach mehrfachen Telefonaten mit unhöflichen Mitarbeiter:innen, welche mehrmals während der Anrufe aufgelegt haben kam der Rest nach 50 Minuten immer noch nicht an. Ist schade.

Leckeres Essen, teilweise aber etwas zu stark gewürzt. Die Soßen sind sehr aromatisch. Leider sind die Stühle sehr unbequem. Aber alles in allem ein gutes Restaurant 😊👍🏻

Tolles Restaurant, absolut zu empfehlen! Wir haben das Mittagssngebot gegessen, das gilt von Montag bis Freitag und man bekommt für 8,90 ein Hauptgericht mit einer Frühlings oder Sommerrolle und Wasser. Es gibt 8 verschiedene Hauptgerichte zur Auswahl. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön und die Bedienung sehr nett. Wir hatten Udonnudeln mit Tofu und Gemüse und eine Reis Bowl und beides hat wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt. Nicht nur das, am Ende haben wir noch eine Pho die übrig war geschenkt bekommen.

War sehr sehr lecker. Preis Leistung Mega. Personal sehr freundlich, könnte noch etwas aufmerksamer sein aber sehr sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt 😄.

Das Essen war an sich lecker. Kritisieren würde ich, dass der Tisch an dem einen Ende klebrig war, genauso wie der Griff der Eingangstür. Außerdem waren wir nicht ganz von den Hausgemachten Getränken überzeugt. Alles in allem schon gut, aber für den Preis habe ich höhere Ansprüche.

Wir haben als Lieferung bei An Chay bestellt. Der Kurier hat das Essen irgendwo draußen auf der Straße abgestellt. Wir haben es ewig in der Kälte gesucht, aber nichts gefunden. Als wir im Restaurant angerufen haben, wurde nur gesagt „ist ja nicht unser Problem“. Wir haben unser Geld nicht zurück bekommen und das Restaurant war nicht bereit, uns zu helfen. Sie meinten auch mehrmals, die kümmern sich und rufen zurück, was sie aber nie getan haben. Sie wollten uns nur abwimmeln. Danke für nichts

Ein schön eingerichteter Laden mit netten Mitarbeitern.Das essen war soweit ziemlich gut nur der kellner hätte etwas aufmerksamer sein können.

We ordered 6 x 5 dumplings with homemade sauce. We got 6 x 4 dumplings with bottled sweet and sour sauce. It's a shame, we were really looking forward to it.

The staff were friendly until I asked about the menu 🥹…

-The first time, I was asked what I wanted outside. That was a bit irritating. When I said I'd like something to eat, I was kept waiting for about 15 minutes. I didn't receive a menu while the people around me were being served. I eventually left. -The second time, as is usual, I actually received a menu when I sat down. Service was good. Prices were acceptable. It's great that everything is vegan, but the food tasted mediocre.

An Chay was one of the first vegan restaurants I've ever been to. As a vegan, I find it particularly rewarding to have a completely vegan menu in front of me. The selection is very good, the food always tastes fantastic, and the service is friendly, courteous, and prompt. Even when we were brought the wrong meal once, we still got the right one and the wrong dish on the house. The wait isn't long, and you get your food quickly and fill yourself up. My only criticism is that I'm unfortunately never able to reserve a table; I always have to drop in on a whim, hoping there's a free table... which makes it feel a bit cramped at times, as everything is in a very small space. However, these are shortcomings at a high level, and otherwise everything is tip-top. I'm always happy to come back.

The food tastes great. Not so great: it takes a long time with all the delivery services queuing up, and I waited 25 minutes just for the appetizer. The seating is very basic, so it's not that comfortable.

Delicious vegan dishes that truly recall traditional cuisine. Even meat eaters were happy here. The prices are perfectly reasonable, too. The beer selection is limited to Heineken and a few non-alcoholic alternatives.

Wir waren an einem Samstag im an chay Leipzig. Aufgrund des super Wetters, hatten wir vorher reserviert, haben aber spontan auch draußen einen Tisch bekommen, weil wir etwas eher da waren. Die Bedienung war super aufmerksam und hat sich erkundigt, ob alles passe/ man noch etwas brauche. Das Essen war geschmacklich sensationell! Wir hatten als Vorspeise die Dumplings und als Hauptspeise jeder eine Bowl.

The food was simply delicious. The seitan duck had a great texture and flavor, and the teriyaki rice paired so well. The tofu noodles were also delicious! We paid €50 for two people (two drinks each, starter, and main course).

I've been here several times and it's always a blast for me. Everything fits together here. The food is incredibly tasty, the service is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is beautiful. Even for people who prefer meat, I strongly recommend it. The alternatives are damn good.

False information and poor handling: Last night I ordered, among other things, five baked dumplings for pickup online via the An Chay restaurant website. I was all the more surprised when I got home and realized that there were only four pieces in the packaging. When I asked in the restaurant, I was told that the old menu was still available online and that the current menu only showed four dumplings per portion. The employee emphasized his regret several times, but at the same time assured that nothing could be done because of the "old card". Basically, I fully understand that mistakes can happen. In my opinion, however, a purchase contract was concluded with my online order under the conditions stated on the website. I find the discrepancy between order and delivery and the subsequent handling of this situation to be inadequate. The succinct rejection with reference to an outdated online map is unacceptable. I actually see legal difficulties for the restaurant here because the advertised services were not provided. A concession or compensation would have been appropriate here to resolve the situation satisfactorily. Conclusion: The food at An Chay may be of good quality, but the experience was very disappointing due to incorrect online information and unprofessional handling of the complaint. I hope that the restaurant will update its online presence promptly and respond more accommodatingly to such errors in the future.

Highly recommended!! great vegan selection

Small restaurant with delicious, beautifully presented food that came quickly. The decor with the many plants on the wall has something homely and cozy about it. We sat at the entrance, where there was a draft every time the door was opened, but at least we got a place at the time of the book fair without a reservation. Thank you very much for that! Attention: There is a relatively steep staircase with a few steps down to the toilets. The toilet is therefore not suitable for wheelchair users!

Today we had a vegan Vietnamese meal at "an chay" and it was a dream. Ambiance is super nice, service is really lovely, taste is very tasty and very freshly prepared, value for money is great and the location is easy to reach. All in all, a recommendation for anyone who comes to Leipzig and wants to eat very good vegan food ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks to the wonderful kitchen and service team :) we'll be happy to come back! ❤️❤️❤️

My absolute favorite restaurant! About food: Everything I've eaten so far tastes great and fills me up. About the service: The service staff are extremely friendly and even when the restaurant is full, they still respond to you and make time for the new guest as soon as possible. About the ambience: The colors of the restaurant are perfectly coordinated, so that you feel comfortable as soon as you enter the store. Conclusion: If I recommend anything in the city when it comes to food, it's this place. In my opinion, the award for one of the best vegan restaurants in Leipzig is justified.

Everything we ate and drank was very tasty and well prepared. We didn't have to wait long for the food we wanted, so it was great. However, there were a few points that weren't so great. This includes the toilets, which were in a lousy condition. In general everything is very dirty. The menu that the waiter brought us and the existing seat cushions could also have been the appetizer plate, as stained and greasy as they were. The waiter had to make his way into the kitchen between boxes and empty drink crates. All of this casts a shadow on the good cuisine.

Five points for this restaurant. Highly recommended! The food is so delicious. Be sure to try the appetizers, too. This meal is like enjoying a little bit of an Asian vacation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Small and fine. We were there for lunch with a larger group and were served very quickly. The food also came quickly. Everything was extremely fresh and delicious. The benches aren't particularly comfortable, but I also had the impression that it wasn't designed for long periods of time. It is definitely recommended for vegetarians, vegans and anyone else who likes Asian food.

Even though I love eating meat, An Chay always attracts me. The vegan duck is a dream and definitely a perfect substitute. Anyone who is skeptical about vegan products should try this to be convinced otherwise. Definitely not just for full-blooded vegans!

I have eaten here from time to time at the recommendation and request of friends. I don't particularly attach importance to a vegetarian or vegan diet, but I'm open to trying things. The dishes at An Chay are prepared in such a way that you sometimes don't notice any difference to their meat-based equivalents. That's why I (unfortunately) don't like the vegan duck here any more than the original. Unfortunately, the seitan pieces in my bowl didn't convince me on my last visit either. Otherwise, the food tastes and looks absolutely great and is highly recommended! The menu is compact but still varied. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere makes you feel comfortable.

Very disappointing given other reviews. Young staff members seemed mostly disinterested but service was ultimately OK. Food a real let down, two noodle dishes were bland and greasy, and if then not hot enough, like it had sat waiting for the on e to be ready. Go to Pholosophy instead.

The place is nicely decorated, but somehow too cramped and uncomfortable and loud. Food tastes good, but doesn't meet my expectations for a balanced meal. My pasta dish consisted of 90% pasta and meat substitutes, almost no vegetables and 3 of the vegetables advertised on the menu were completely missing. So, it's tasty but unfortunately it only has the nutritional value of junk food. Service functional, without any particular friendliness or attention.

Mediocre No. 45 is described as a hearty peanut sauce with rice. Unfortunately it was anything but hearty and the food tasted like vanilla rice pudding. Absolutely not recommended. Maybe other dishes are better.

Really excellent. I had a nice soup, some spring rolls and a yuzu tea. The guys are friendly and the wooden furniture resembles the one of a traditional place. Will come back.

The place makes a very unhygienic impression! The menu is dirty and the seat cushions don't look clean either... the table was sticky. I missed the food during my visit and the reviews are a mystery to me. I don't want to see the kitchen in this dining room. Luckily we were able to find a visually and tastefully appealing Vietnamese restaurant a few corners away. So we were able to save the evening. Thanks for nothing and tried water and detergent....

Delicious! I think it's great that you can simply order EVERYTHING on the menu without having to look for or ask about V labeling or allergens. 😁 We had the Surf&Turf (the vegan shrimp are awesome!), Wanderlust (with chicken, also very tasty), How it all began (tofu creamy on the inside, crispy on the outside, the sauce creamy and delicious) and the 4 steamed glories Look nice! Keep it up! 💚

The food tasted good. However, the “beetroot” was just two beetroot spirals and is more of a decoration. Used salad mix from the bag? Long wait until you get the card

The restaurant was a tip from our daughter. We are thrilled and can recommend it. For us, usual, occasional meat eaters, there was no difference to the vegan duck, neither visually nor in terms of taste. Gladly again 😊

Super delicious vegan Asian food. Always worth a visit! If it's too crowded here, just go to the "House of Vegan" across the street. The two restaurants belong together and largely share the menu (the House of Vegan has a few more starters).

It's better not to order via UberEats - I just waited an hour for the order so that it was simply canceled without comment. Nobody answers the phone either. Happy sunday

A beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere was very pleasant, we immediately felt very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The opportunity to enjoy Asian specialties without having a guilty conscience is wonderful and it simply tasted good (even for me as a "non-vegan"...) ;) Great experience, we'll be happy to come back :)
