We've eaten there many times and have never been disappointed. A great team from the bar to the table! The food is always excellent. We'll gladly come back.

I came to this establishment with my son and husband with high hopes from what we saw in the previous review. We asked for the SNITCHZEL and instead got the SHITZEL. I was hoping for a delicious meal, something life changing but instead got served with something that looked like it got peeled off of Lindsey Lohans face. My son is now in hospital suffering a cardiac arrest and my husband filed a divorce. Could I at least get back some compensation.

I recently tried the Snitchal at Westfälischer Hof and it was an absolute delight, earning a well-deserved 5 stars! This dish, a creative twist on the classic schnitzel, was perfectly crispy on the outside with a golden breadcrumb coating, while the chicken inside remained incredibly juicy and tender. The seasoning was spot-on, with a subtle blend of herbs that elevated the flavor without overwhelming it. Paired with a creamy mustard sauce and a side of roasted potatoes, every bite was pure comfort food heaven. The presentation was vibrant, and the portion size was just right. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to savor this masterpiece again! Highly recommend the Snitchal to anyone craving a satisfying, flavorful meal.

Simply fantastic! The portions are filling and leave enough leftovers to take home. Plus, the staff is very friendly, the ambiance is renovated, and the food is of high quality.

We came all the way from Ahlen because the restaurant was supposed to be open on Tuesday according to the opening hours and website, but we were there for nothing. It was closed, and there was no sign on the door or in the signboard explaining why it was closed. It's a shame; we'll never drop by spontaneously again. I know the food is delicious, but it was more comfortable before the renovations, and I'll have to put that information under "Service"—no star. 🤷🏻‍♀️

We weren't happy this time! The really likeable boss wasn't there; UNFORTUNATELY! The food clearance...no request for a second drink; No request for cappucino or dessert...... Girlfriend wanted salad.. totally requested the buffet....... From 9 p.m. it was clearly noticeable...... PLEASE GO!!!!!! I've been there so many times... I also recommended the restaurant...... I was horrified...... Unfortunately we won't be coming back! Everything stands or falls with the boss, who is really very likeable!!!! Unfortunately you can forget it when you're away... By the way, from 9:30 p.m. onwards people were clattering around with cutlery, so that we could hardly talk anymore... We were a group of girls, we've been there many times...I personally even more often.....like the boss very much, a very dear person......... But.... We won't be coming back! Once again a big failure on the part of our great restaurateurs here in our country. We, my wife and I, were once again very disappointed. After a long search for a decent restaurant, we think we've found what we're looking for. The food is very tasty, the price and the ambience are right, but unfortunately we have repeatedly found that profit counts for more than regular customers. We ordered a menu for two people, which was served on a large platter, but unfortunately the table was far too small to eat the food properly, there was simply hardly any space. The table was right in the entrance area, where it was like pike soup. It was also very unpleasant to constantly smell the body odor of the guests coming and going. I ask myself the question of why I should go to the trouble of pre-booking a table if I'm going to be seated anyway and why should I pay the full price in a restaurant if it doesn't happen? We ordered food to pick up. It was super tasty, but unfortunately it has now become quite an expensive pleasure.

The staff was very friendly. We sat outside on the terrace, it was very comfortable, inside it was very tastefully and comfortably furnished. The food came very quickly and was super tasty, I can highly recommend the steak and lamb. Beforehand there is salad at the salad buffet.

We ate there as a family with a small child and everything was 1A. The boss himself welcomed us, the waiters are super friendly and accommodating and the food was a dream. So really, if you want to eat well, you should definitely eat here, you won't regret it. The portions are plentiful and the prices are fair. Everything inside has been renovated, it is modern and cozy at the same time, there is also the option to sit on the terrace when the weather is nice. I always eat here with my family when I visit from Switzerland. Please everyone stay as you are🫶 We will be back

Bestes Restaurant in Ennigerloh und umkreis. Ich muss sagen, es war einfach fantastisch! Das Ambiente dort ist sehr gemütlich und einladend. Der Service war ausgezeichnet und das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Steaks waren absolut köstlich und perfekt zubereitet. Saftig, zart und voller Geschmack. Die Auswahl an verschiedenen Schnittarten und Garstufen war beeindruckend. Die Portionen waren großzügig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhaltnis war meiner Meinung nach sehr gut. Es ist definitiv ein Restaurant für besondere Anlässe oder wenn man einfach mal Lust auf ein richtig gutes Steak hat. Alles in allem kann ich das Steakhouse nur wärmstens empfehlen. Es ist ein Ort, an dem man wirklich erstklassiges Essen und einen tollen Service erleben kann.

Great ambience, friendly service. But the two-person platter was sparsely stocked with meat. But there is a wheelbarrow of fries and toast under the meat as filling material. It still tasted good.

I had reserved a table for 7 people for Sunday around 6:30 p.m. When we came with 9 people, a new table was no problem, even though the restaurant was already very full. The employees helped us immediately and were very accommodating. Ordering food and drinks was very quick. However, I would have liked there to be a drinks menu. So, based on a recommendation, I ordered a semi-dry red wine with my grill plate. The wine and the food were very tasty. I didn't quite finish the grill plate, a lot of meat, fries, Djuvec rice and onions. As a starter you can get a salad from the salad bar. My companions felt the same way. Price wise tip top for the quantity. At the end there was a delicious schnapps on the house. A very nice, modern restaurant that has recently been renovated. In summer you can also sit outside. The restaurant is absolutely recommended!

Tolle große Portion, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt. Nette Kellner und tolles Ambiente. Kommen gerne wieder.

Ambiente top, Service freundlich und schnell, trotz Feiertagsstress. Leider kommt die Küche nicht ganz mit. Fleisch sehr fettig, Cevapcici halb gar und alles lau warm.

Schade Westfälischer Hof. Hatten Weihnachten 2 Hausplatten bestellt. Pünktlich zum Abholtermin um 11:45 Uhr abgeholt. Laden natürlich da schon voll. Das Essen stand bereits zum abholen auf den Tresen. Wie lange schon ? Nur 1 Minute Fahrzeit bis nach Hause aber das Essen war kalt. Im Restaurant selber kann man sich das definitiv nicht erlauben. Für die beiden Platten wurden 78,00 EUR bezahlt. Die Qualität war vor 2-3 Jahren da auch mal besser. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt da nicht für Abholware. Würden wir so nicht nochmal machen. Personal/Freundlichkeit immer super. Der sachlichen Kritik gilt lediglich das Essen als solches. Kalte Pommes kann man auch schlecht wieder aufwärmen, wir haben sie entsorgt. Kaum Gemüse auf der Platte. Keine Kroketten (waren doch sonst immer mit drauf ?) Es gibt diese Platten auch in anderen Restaurants, die waren vor Ort besser. Es gibt nichts schlimmeres als kalte Speisen. Einfach an Weihnachten etwas ärgerlich wo man für diesen Betrag sicherlich alternativ besser versorgt gewesen wäre. Aber hinterher ist man ja immer schlauer. Nichtsdestotrotz würde ich im Restaurant vor Ort natürlich dem Westfälischen Hof für andere Gerichte als die Hausplatte wieder neu bewerten.

Sehr gutes Essen hat halt seinen Preis - dazu sind es sehr gute Portionen. Alle sind sehr freundlich und es hat genauso lecker geschmeckt wie beim letzten Mal, was schon einige Jahre her ist.
