My response to the owners' feedback: Well, Hubertus isn't that important to us, as we've had our own restaurant for years, where we're always warmly welcomed and often get a few ouzo on the house! We've been your guests exactly three times. We visited you twice on Thursdays after our savings club for a quick drink and once at your 80/90 event. On the first Thursday, we sat with friends at the table next to the Stadtschänke (city tavern). We just had a normal conversation. So we couldn't have bumped into anyone that day! On the second Thursday, we only stayed at the bar. At that time, there were about 10-12 guests, mostly seated inside. Even there, it's more than unlikely that we'd bump into anyone. Later, we danced outside to exactly one song, which was playing from your speaker system, which was outside the door. We danced very close to the stairs leading down to the street. This movement caused me to run down the stairs to avoid falling. I drove that day and had drunk exactly two beers! That evening, everything went normally, without you approaching us, as you claim! For the third time, we went to your 80s/90s event after the Mettwurst market. That evening, the interior was very crowded, and many guests were dancing exuberantly. Here, we admit that we bumped into someone, which we're no longer aware of!? As already mentioned, later, while leaning on a table, two glasses fell off the table! The manager then reprimanded me sharply! To which I replied that it probably wasn't that bad, since it was only two glasses. We then apologized to you directly. And everything seemed to be fine again! We then sat outside on the bench with friends for a long time, and I even got water directly from the boss!! 1. No one on your side had to speak to us beforehand or even warned us! I'm sorry, but that's simply a lie! 2. Ban from the premises that same evening. Unfortunately, that's also a lie. We have witnesses who can confirm that I personally ordered a water at the bar and received it without any problems! 3. Likewise, I/we would never point at, shout at, or do anything else to anyone who picks up glasses that fall off the table on our side. You can be sure that we come from a very good home and would rather help than commit such acts!! This is also why we came to you the next day to clarify and possibly apologize, after we learned about your ban from third parties about two days later! In this brief conversation with you, we were both very level-headed. I would like to give you the good advice of sitting down with the manager of the building in a quiet moment and correcting her statement, or rather, remembering that moment! If you continue to speak like this, you are on the verge of being sued for defamation by us!!! I/we wish you much success. Firstly, you should perhaps not listen to one or two people who are not always well-disposed towards us due to our age difference. You should also consider further training in conflict resolution. I am 56 years old and have never experienced such a reaction and lies in such a context! Nor was I banned from the building myself at a young age!! We had a really great meal and drink there as a family. The ambiance and service were also perfect, and the prices were reasonable. Just give it a try! Thank you so much 😀

We've eaten there many times and have never been disappointed. A great team from the bar to the table! The food is always excellent. We'll gladly come back.
