Restaurant Hubertus in Ennigerloh

I had to delete my first review because there's a limit on the number of characters allowed. My response to the owners' feedback: Well, Hubertus isn't that important to us, as we've had our own restaurant for years, where we're always warmly welcomed and often get a few ouzo on the house! We've been your guests exactly three times. We visited you twice on Thursdays after our savings club for a quick drink and once at your 80/90 event. On the first Thursday, we sat with friends at the table next to the Stadtschänke (city tavern). We just had a normal conversation. So we couldn't have bumped into anyone that day! On the second Thursday, we only stayed at the bar. At that time, there were about 10-12 guests, mostly seated inside. Even there, it's more than unlikely that we'd bump into anyone. Later, we danced outside to exactly one song, which was playing from your speaker system, which was outside the door. We danced very close to the stairs leading down to the street. This movement caused me to run down the stairs to avoid falling. I drove that day and had drunk exactly two beers! That evening, everything went normally, without you approaching us, as you claim! For the third time, we went to your 80s/90s event after the Mettwurst market. That evening, the interior was very crowded, and many guests were dancing exuberantly. Here, we admit that we bumped into someone, which we're no longer aware of!? As already mentioned, later, while leaning on a table, two glasses fell off the table! The manager then reprimanded me sharply! To which I replied that it probably wasn't that bad, since it was only two glasses. We then apologized to you directly. And everything seemed to be fine again! We then sat outside on the bench with friends for a long time, and I even got water directly from the boss!! 1. No one on your side had to speak to us beforehand or even warned us! I'm sorry, but that's simply a lie! 2. Ban from the premises that same evening. Unfortunately, that's also a lie. We have witnesses who can confirm that I personally ordered a water at the bar and received it without any problems! 3. Likewise, I/we would never point at, shout at, or do anything else to anyone who picks up glasses that fall off the table on our side. You can be sure that we come from a very good home and would rather help than commit such acts!! This is also why we came to you the next day to clarify and possibly apologize, after we learned about your ban from third parties about two days later! In this brief conversation with you, we were both very level-headed. I would like to give you the good advice of sitting down with the manager of the building in a quiet moment and correcting her statement, or rather, remembering that moment! If you continue to speak like this, you are on the verge of being sued for defamation by us!!! I/we wish you much success. Firstly, you should perhaps not listen to one or two people who are not always well-disposed towards us due to our age difference. You should also consider further training in conflict resolution. I am 56 years old and have never experienced such a reaction and lies in such a context! Nor was I banned from the building myself at a young age!! We celebrated my godchild's baptism here a few weeks ago. There were various dishes from the buffet. The food was truly outstanding! Everyone enjoyed it immensely. The service was very attentive and courteous. The table was also beautifully set! We went here again yesterday for dinner! My husband and I had the cheeseburger with fries. I haven't had such a good burger in a long time! The fries were also very crispy and delicious! For dessert, we had crème brûlée with vanilla ice cream and the Bavarian cream. Both were truly delicious! The service was excellent and very friendly! We definitely recommend it! We'll be back!

I was there this week for the first time since the new owner, Denn Das Hubertus, and in addition to the cozy Westphalian atmosphere, the friendly service is also great. The most important thing is of course also true: the food tastes excellent and of course we will be back ❤️😎

Very good cuisine, we had a delicious meal here. The schnitzels are great, this time we had "Hüftgold" and "Paprika" schnitzels, the burgers are also delicious. Highly recommended! The service is very friendly and the price-performance ratio is good. We'd love to come back!

Ate super tasty. Had Pleskavica and Schmankerl schnitzel. Both dishes surprised us positively and also impressed us in terms of price/performance. Thumbs up for good cuisine.

Yesterday we ate at the new Hubertus for the first time. You could definitely tell that the food was freshly prepared, plentiful and very tasty. Price-performance ratio, very good. The staff is very nice and friendly. Based on our experience, the Hubertus is highly recommended.

It was noticed that the new operators lacked routine. Offering a buffet at Christmas is good in terms of planning and organization for the kitchen. However, if you as a guest want to eat in peace instead of queuing with the whole restaurant, it's not so good. Unfortunately, when we reserved a table, there was no mention of the fact that there was a buffet. This only became apparent upon arrival. The food itself was plentiful, varied with fish, various types of meat and side dishes and also tasty, but unfortunately lukewarm to cold. The soup came to the table already lukewarm. The food from the warming bowls was also only moderately lukewarm. Later, after we pointed this out, the flames were turned up and hot food was served. The dessert (chocolate pudding and mascarpone cream) were delicious. All in all we were satisfied. The waitresses are always friendly and helpful. The new operator definitely deserves a chance. We wish you a successful future!

Super friendly and very tasty food.

Permanently closed 06/12/24 Dear Mr/Mrs VG We were visiting here and were looking forward to a nice, cozy evening with equally good food - what the Google search, pictures and descriptions also suggested. We were informed on site that the restaurant had been closed for about a year. Surprise! Ergo, my quick reaction so that others don't make the same mistake and waste their time. So: The Google search suggests that this is a normal restaurant where you can eat at normal times. You, as the owner, should keep the information up to date so that it is a) current and b) not misleading. There is nothing there about restricted operations. Last but not Least – With “Who Can Read” your service doesn’t deserve more than one star.

It was a great restaurant, nice, courteous service. Excellent food, we always enjoyed going there, unfortunately everything comes to an end.

We were invited to a baptism party yesterday. It was so delicious and the service was just friendly. The ambience of the old building rounds the whole thing off in a positive way. I can only recommend everyone to celebrate their celebration here!

Really very nice, absolutely clean and beautifully and comfortably decorated. The menu is quite small but not bad at all, prices are more than fair. Attentive service! Food is really delicious! Will definitely come back :-)

Simply amazing. The food was delicious, a whole new culinary experience since I've never tried persian food before. The attention was great, the Personal was very kind and attentive and answered our questions and requests. Highly recommended!

Sehr leckeres persisches Buffet mit freundlicher Erklärung der Speisen und.... einfach lecker. Werde sicher wiederkommen.

Essen , sowie Auswahl sehr gut. Personal freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit . Fragen wurden ausführlich beantwortet zu den Events, die dort noch angeboten werden.

Es passt alles, Essen, Personal und Ambiente. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren dort zu viert und haben oben gesessen. Das Restaurant war gut gefüllt und wir waren anfangs etwas überrascht über die allgemeine Lautstärke im Raum. Aber man gewöhnt sich daran, wenn die ersten Essen kommen, werden die Leute auch etwas ruhiger. Außerdem gehört das Lebhafte auch dazu, das war ok. Geschmeckt hat es uns allen vier richtig gut, wir hatten Ennigerloher Pfanne und Schnitzel mit Beilagen und Salat. Es gab nichts zu meckern, alle waren danach satt und zufrieden. Die Preise sind angemessen. Das Personal wirkte sehr freundlich. Der Chef (einer der Chefs?) war auch öfter zu sehen, er bediente auch mit und fragte uns nach dem Wohlergehen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wirklich weiterempfehlen nach unseren ersten Erfahrungen dort. Nachtrag 6.6.22: Wir waren wieder dort, zu viert, Sa. abends, wieder oben, es war mittelvoll, dadurch etwas ruhiger, einige Gäste haben auch draußen gespeist. Wir haben gemütlich gesessen und sehr lecker gegessen, verschiedene Schnitzel mit Kroketten o. Röstis, einer von uns hatte wieder die sehr zu empfehlende Ennigerloher Pfanne. Der freundliche Chef hat auch wieder mitgearbeitet und zeigte sich kommunikations- und auskunftsfreudig. Wir waren sicher nicht zum letzten Mal dort.

Das Lachsfilet war nicht besonders üppig für den saftigen Preis von 21€ bekommt man wirklich nur einen hauchdünnen Streifen mit etwas Reis und Soße. Das Lachs immer etwas teurer ist, ist klar. Dieses Menü läuft aber eher unter "Kinderteller". Geschmacklich war es aber okay.

An alle die in Ennigerloh etwas schmackhaftes zu essen suchen sind bei Hubertus vollkommen richtig. Ich liebe die Ambiente, der Stil vom Fachwerkbau und moderner Gestaltung. Die drei Chefs sind locker und kontaktfreudig, es fühlt sich an als ob man sich schon seid Ewigkeit kennt, dass Personal ist super freundlich und kann gefühlt jeden wünsch des Gastes von den Augen lesen. Ich liebe die Vielfalt an verschiedenen Gerichten die sie dort anbieten, jedoch nicht zu viel, was einen auch nicht überfordert. Neben der Standard Karte gibt es immer noch, einen Monatskarte wo Saisonale Gerichten angeboten werden. Wenn man sich dann sat gegessen hat, besteht sogar noch die Möglichkeit ein wenig zu Kegeln 🎳 Im großen und ganzen ein wirklich tolles Restaurant mit sehr schmackhaften Essen schönen Ambiente und tolles Personal 👍🏻

Wir waren zu zweit und hatten Lendchen und Lachsfilet. Essen war schmackhaft und preismässig völlig in Ordnung. Schade, dass wohl durch Corona nicht so viel los war

Waren dort zum Persischen Buffet. Ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wurde alles super erklärt und es wurde auf Wunsch alles nachgereicht. Gerne wieder 👍

Hygienisch sauber ... gibt nix zu meckern ... nur ein Tip: den Rösti mit Lachs anstatt mit Rauchlachs vllt mal mit Graved Lachs ... 👍🤩

I have a lot of food allergies and don’t speak much German, but this is my favorite restaurant in town. They prepared my food perfectly and it was absolutely delicious. The owner and his staff are wonderful! A perfect restaurant for the busy business traveler.

Wow, war das lecker. Alles aufgegessen, was nur wegen der Größe der Portion schwerfiel. Genau das Richtige nach einem langen Arbeitstag. Und der Besitzer des Restaurants versteht seinen Job. Wer fließend Deutsch, Englisch und Farsi redet, dabei auch noch ständig den Eindruck vermittelt, dass ihm genau diese Arbeit riesig Spaß macht ... Ganz großes Kino. Dankeschön für den gelungenen Abschluss des Tages.

Das Essen war mal wieder hervorragend! Mit der wechselnden Monatskarte sind ständig neue saisonale Gerichte auf der Karte. Ansonsten sehr gute Burger, Salate und das Rumpsteak ist auch zu empfehlen. Bedienung und Inhaber sind immer sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder hin!

A nice restaurant in the center of Ennigerloh - beside the church. Very friendly waiter and a small but excellent menu. Took the Ennigerloh Pfanne which came with a salad. The salad was absolute fresh and the dressing - same as the whole dish - was very delicious.

Stopped in for dinner with my husband. The foods were very good and reasonably priced. I ordered steak...it was tender and well seasoned 👍🏻 Their special cocktail was also good. The waitress was super nice .. good service and very friendly. Would love to go again.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Man schmeckt, dass hier nur frische Zutaten verwendet werden. Der nette Service ist das passende i Tüpfelchen auf dem Gesamtpaket. Kann ich jedem nur weiter empfehlen.

Schönes eingerichtetes und bequemes Restaurant mit leckeren frisch zubereiteten Burger die meiner Meinung nach sehr lecker waren.
