Absolutely delicious, best noodles in town! Super nice service, I always love coming here! It's worth waiting in line!

I got to this place after the most enthusiastic recommendations ever. The person in question risked all of her reputation into hyping this place up for me. So I had enourmous expectations. Then I ate here, and realized. No matter how much you try to hype this place up, it will never fail to deliver, never disappoint. Wen Cheng is immune to overhyping.

Unfortunately, the food here tastes different than at the original branch. The beef is very tough, and the flavor leaves much to be desired. Therefore, I prefer to go to one of the other branches when I'm in the mood for Biang Biang noodles. Also, the chicken baos are cold 9 out of 1 time and almost always arrive with the main course, so the main course gets cold by the time you've finished your bao. This is a real shame because who wants to eat their appetizer and main course together? I understand that it's often very busy and they want to clear tables for new guests as quickly as possible, but as a customer, I would really appreciate being able to enjoy my food, which isn't exactly cheap, in peace without having to rush because my noodles get cold.

Very tasty bian bian noodles with a good level of spiciness (you can choose the spice level), but a bit too doughy. The orange chicken was very tasty, the service extremely friendly, and they even gave us a gift at the end! 🤗🙈

A consistent favorite in Berlin's Biang Biang scene. I've been here several times, and the noodles are always a winner. The tofu is simply divine, and the oil and its spiciness are spot on. But some small details seem to be evolving. The tomato-garlic sauce as a topping is definitely worth trying. The orange-glazed chicken bites, however, are still missing that extra something. Doesn't change my overall rating. Always recommended!!

I was with my family and i waited a very long time to be seated. My two older kids stayed in line and waited for one of the staff to tell us when to enter the establishment while i stayed with the young king and got sure he is not cold while we waited. When suddenly i hear one of the staff speaking rude to one of the kids in line and telling them to go somewhere else . Very nice… that guy deserves to be fired . I ended up going somewhere else because i was in no mood of fighting over the simple reason of respect for the customer

We waited 45 minutes even though we were there first. During that time, we watched around 16 people who arrived after us get seated and served before we did. No explanation, no update, we were just ignored. When we finally asked what was going on, the waiter was rude instead of apologetic and made a comment basically implying that this restaurant “isn’t for us.” That was incredibly disrespectful and honestly shocking to hear as a paying customer. Mistakes happen, but the attitude is what really ruined it. Being skipped is one thing. Being talked down to and made to feel unwelcome after waiting nearly an hour is another.

We were with a kid and we waited outside in the cold for 30 minutes. We were a bigger group and they didn’t think to prioritize us in order to let us in faster even if we were the first in line . After asking to be seated one of the staff ended up telling us to somewhere else in a very rude way . I m not interested in the food if the staff is like this.

We came to this restaurant with our family, based on a recommendation and with high expectations regarding the food. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing due to the service. We waited approximately 45 minutes to be seated. During this time, several groups who arrived after us were invited to their tables before us. We were a group of 8 people, and two other groups of 4 people each, who arrived later, were seated ahead of us. When we politely asked the staff member responsible for seating about this situation, the response was unprofessional and dismissive. We were told that this restaurant “might not be suitable for us” and that perhaps we should leave if we were not satisfied with the situation. While we understand that accommodating larger groups can be more challenging, the lack of respect and basic courtesy was unacceptable. Even if the food may be very good, the service and attitude of the staff are far below expectations. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience….

We were a group of 8 and waited over 30 minutes while smaller groups of 2–4 people were allowed inside before us. When we asked how much longer the wait would be, the staff member was extremely rude and dismissive. Because of this unacceptable attitude, we decided to leave. Very disappointing customer service.

We were 8 people waiting for let s say half an hour in line. And in the meantime while we were first in line they let people in group after group. 4 people another 4 , 2 and then 2 … when i had the audacity to ask the waiter what about us? The answer I got first was that I have I have to wait more . In that moment I asked about the big wave of people that got in front of us . There was always the choice of splitting us in two tables of 4( which we asked) and they started to say that maybe this place is not for us and we can go find some place else. Excuse me? I ignored this answer that was told to me in “nice” words and waited a little more. Nothing…another group got in front . So we left. I can t say that the food isn t good . I tried the place one year ago and it was nice. But today not so much on the service category. Definitely won t come again.

We were told to wait for a table, which was perfectly fine with us. What really surprised us, however, was that we were told to wait outside – and it was freezing cold that day! I don't think that's how you treat guests, especially not in that kind of weather.

Guys, the food was absolutely amazing! We ordered W1 and B1, and both were delicious, well-seasoned, and the meat was incredibly tender, just as it should be. Every time I visit Berlin, I'll definitely eat there again.

Normally have an amazing experience at Wen Cheng, unfortunately this visit my beef was quite fatty, I ended up having to take out many fatty pieces.

After leaving the establishment, I wanted to leave two stars, but that's mostly due to the disappointment of not being able to eat. + Lots of napkins on the table, which is unusual for Berlin. + The chicken in orange sauce is very tasty, just like at Silver Panda. + Fast service. - Drinks are served in glass containers without glasses. This is strange and uncomfortable when you're ordering water. - All dishes are spicy. This was clearly noted on the old menu. The new menu has a few items with transparent peppers, but they are still spicy. It's so spicy that if you're not used to spicy food and don't like it, it will burn your mouth. Perhaps it's not enough to simply point to the dish when ordering; you need to clearly tell the waiter that you want a non-spicy dish. - I only managed to eat the chicken from the portion, as the rest was inedible for me. I wasn't expecting a refund, a discount, or even a "sorry, what a shame," but the waitress who took my plate away seemed concerned about me having to pay 16 euros for an uneaten dish and... just vanished. We paid someone else. It left a bad taste in my mouth.

The food was great, no question about it. But you should give the women in the kitchen hairnets. It's not very hygienic. Also, the location is okay, but the seating isn't very comfortable.

The flavour was incredible — rich, smoky, and layered with heat — but in hindsight, I should’ve stopped at two-times spicy. Twenty-four hours later, my stomach was still in negotiations. That said, it’s easily one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in Berlin. A perfect mix of authenticity, energy, and sheer chilli-fuelled joy. Stanley’s Verdict: A fiery Berlin favourite that doesn’t just serve spice — it serves character. Go hungry, bring tissues, and maybe start at level two.

It's an ideal place for Asian cuisine lovers. I tried the Biang Biang beef, and it was truly delicious. Those who dont like cilantro should be careful. I also recommend a 2-star rating in the spicy category. Don't forget to drink Shifu beer, too.

It was delicious! We didn't let the long queues fool us and decided to take a chance. To our surprise, we managed to get a table right away on Saturday at 6 p.m. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered two beef dishes. The biang biang was more delicate with a delicious tomato sauce, while the wen change was spicy and full of flavor. The beef melted in your mouth. The cucumber salad was perfect too – light and crispy – a perfect break from the noodles. The bao buns were delicious, but the tofu dish was even better. Their rice beer and lemonades are delicious. We got our food very quickly. I'll definitely visit this place again when I'm in Berlin.

Best Chinese place in Berlin, would love to have it in Italy!

A very, very tasty noodle bowl with cucumber salad, perfect for warming up in winter. Slightly spicy and a generous portion with plenty of beef (W1). The smashed cucumber salad on the side was also excellent. The noodles and vegetables were cooked to perfection, nicely al dente. One point off for the service; the food arrived very quickly, but much earlier than the drinks. No waiting time outside the restaurant; the four of us were seated immediately. Overall, we were very satisfied and left thoroughly satisfied – highly recommended!

Our visit to Wen Chang was excellent. On Friday evening, we got a table for four without having to wait in line. The food arrived quickly—even faster than the drinks. The food was fantastic. The orange chicken was very flavorful, and the noodles were really good. I can wholeheartedly recommend Wen Chang.

Wen cheng changed my mind about chinese. You can chose between different levels for spiciness and the first level was enough and very refreshing. The hand made noedels are also worth the try. Not to forget Vegan options are also available. Kind and friendly staff making the place comfy and where you want to go again.

Although Chinese food is not my favorite, I found it successful.

Smashed cucumber salad is fine, but since we skipped the fact that it was naturally spicy and chose extra spicy (there are 4 options in total after no spicy), it was a good option to suppress the spiciness.😆 Chicken bao and noodles are worth going for.

I’m so sad to write this, as we’ve been coming to various locations since we moved to Berlin, four years ago. I think they expanded too much, too fast, and the quality has dropped off significantly. I ordered my usual, and today it was almost without taste; everything was so bland, when it used to be floral and tangy and wonderful. The Aubergine was inedible, barely cooked, and the noodles tasted like they were reheated from frozen. I paid almost 20 euros for food I didn’t want to eat, and this used to be a place we looked forward to visiting.

This place sells bibim noodles, which can be considered Chinese, and has recently become popular among the younger generation. I ordered Biang Biang with beef topping and the spiciest level. Although the reviews clearly said that even the spiciest level isn't that spicy for Koreans, it was very spicy. Of course, it's different from the spiciness of Korean Cheongyang peppers, and it has a mala-like spiciness that isn't very pleasant, so I think that's part of it, but either way, it was spicy. Still, it was tasty, and the noodles were chewy and not too chewy. I also had a Neulich Hell beer with it.

Food was great, service was hectic but friendly, the atmosphere was a bit too bright and loud, I prefer the other locations.

Very nice service and restaurant vibe. The flavour of the sauce was a bit disappointing. There wasn't enough cumin on the lamb either. The flavour seems to be more catered to Germans. But I liked that you could customize the spice level.

Very tasty food, enjoyed the ambiance with good friends. The waitress was super nice. We asked to get tap water and the waiter brought a glass to every one of us. Also loved the bottom of the bowl. We would definitely come back again 😊
