Jade Palast 玉面阁 in Berlin

I had the fish soup. It was one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. Really good. The shrimp were sweet and tasted as if they had just been pulled out of the sea. Cozy atmosphere.

Very kind service and we’ve got our dishes very fast and it was fresh and hot. Their handmade noodles were perfect. And the restaurant is very clean. It was very yummy. If I were you I would go to this restaurant.

Smaller but cute place with comfortable atmosphere. Food is delicious and served on super cute plates. Recommend the dan dan noodles with beef and for starters the radish. They also have veggie options.

I was very happy about the vegan dishes. The noodle soup was very tasty. The volume level could be a little lower. Our table was also placed a bit awkwardly - basically in the middle of the room. The staff is very friendly.

First time i ever tried the noodles… i am not a fan of ramen therefore was a bit reluctant trying hand pulled noodles… but they were amazing! Tried the chilli noodles… very balanced spice level! Loved it! Will come again! Edit 2025: its now halal!!!

I was visiting my brother in Berlin. We wanted to try something new and hyped in Berlin: Jade Palast Unfortunately, Jade Palast doesn't quite live up to its hype and nothing really impressed me. Maybe it's just because I eat out too often haha. But nonetheless, very tasty food! In my opinion, portions could be a bit larger. The restaurant itself is very simple. Prices very good. All in all 5 stars from me. Unfortunately no photos were taken…

First time, The atmosphere and service is best. Ordered Dan Dan noodles was delicious ( Ask to make it spicy) 😋 It would taste the best.

Overhyped. The atmosphere is like in the cafeteria, for me it's not comfortable. Doesn't invite you to linger. Food is ok, but really not special. Definitely good for lunch, but not as an evening program. Service runs around you all the time, a long time ago.

Very tasty handmade noodles. The peanut sauce is great with both tofu and meat. Spicy cucumber pickle and the prawn dumpling appetizer were incredible too. 10/10 will come back

The noodles are fresh and handmade. Delicious. Good selection of dishes, no desserts on the menu unfortunately. The service was very attentive and friendly. It can be a bit noisy when it's busy but it's worth it.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this noodle house. The noodles didn't taste good at all! The meat in the Hongshao beef noodle soup was way too dry, and the dandan noodles were way too salty. In addition, wide noodles were used for the beef noodle soup - that just doesn't fit. Charging 14 euros per bowl for this quality is really unreasonable. I definitely won't visit the noodle house again.

this place is delicious but if you're really hungry only 1 main dish isn't enough. i suggest 1 entry and 1 main dish. i had the Noodle soup w beef and the chicken leg and omg, 100% approved a solid 8 or 9 out of 10 because for the price the portions could be bigger.

Excellent food. The noodles are really delicious. The soups taste excellent. The pickled cucumbers and the dumplings too. The team is friendly. I'll definitely come here again when I get the chance.

Small menu, but delicious food with fresh ingredients! The peanut sauce wasn't too thick/oily either (which is unfortunately often the case in other restaurants). When I wanted to take the rest of my soup with me, they refilled the broth for me free of charge :) + the vegan option with tofu was very tasty!

While shopping in Charlottenburg we came across the Jade Palast quite by chance and the outside of the place made us curious. The welcoming impression convinced us to stop by spontaneously. Although it was quite busy in the afternoon, we were greeted warmly and told that we could get a table for two after a short wait. After just five minutes we were led to a great table near the open kitchen - a highlight because we were able to watch live how the hand-pulled noodles were freshly prepared. The service was excellent: the waiter was attentive and advised us on how to choose the level of spiciness. As a starter we chose the V8 fried dumplings with chicken, cabbage, onions and chives. These were really a treat – fried until golden brown on the bottom and nice and soft on top. Perfect in consistency and taste! For the main courses we chose the N1 noodle soup with beef hesse and the N3 Dan Dan noodles with peanuts and minced beef. Both dishes were not only visually appealing, but also a true revelation in terms of taste. The hand-pulled noodles were long, soft and had just the right texture. The sauce and broth were perfectly seasoned – a real taste experience! The only small drawback: We were not aware that “beef Hesse” is a rather mixed meat. It wasn't quite to our taste but that's of course down to our personal preferences and not the dish itself. All in all, our visit to Jade Palace was a great experience. From the quality of the food to the friendly service, everything was perfect. We will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend the restaurant!

The food was very tasty all around! The noodles were a bit difficult to eat because they are quite wide and long - but maybe that's because of my lack of skills. The service was courteous and very friendly. Card payment works! I'd love to come back very soon!

I really like eating at Jade Palace. There are restaurants that offer such Chinese noodles in a more traditional and authentic way, but that doesn't suit my taste (in China the meat is eaten more gristly and that's not my thing). In the Jade Palace, the meat is adapted to European eating habits, which I like better. When you sit at the counter, you can watch the food being prepared and the employees are very friendly. We come back regularly.

5 stars throughout. A memorable bowl of dan dan noodles that feeds the soul. They've turned me into a regular customer for sure.

We went to Jade Palace on a Friday evening. It was busy, but the service was still great. As a larger group, we tried almost everything on the clear menu and were not disappointed. Everything was super tasty and plentiful. Then we went around the corner to the Cheers KTV. If you know karaoke bars from China, you've come to the right place. 谢谢

The food was very tasty, you enjoyed the noodles until the last bite. These handmade noodles are the definition of FoodPorn, truly 5 out of 5 stars. Another positive point was the temperature of the noodles, it was very optimal, neither too hot nor too warm. However, I deducted a star for the beef, which unfortunately wasn't as tasty as we imagined. If it had been pieces of beef fillet, we think it would have been a better fit. Another point that I didn't understand was the bean sprouts that are hidden under the noodles in such a way that you think you have a larger amount of noodles. I found that unnecessary because the portion of pasta with everything on it was already filling.

Incredibly good restaurant imho. Food and service are excellent, I really enjoy coming here. The hand pulled noodles are obviously delicious, I specifically recommend the Dan Dan Noodles Soup with chicken. This is one of my favourite restaurants in Berlin, especially in Charlottenburg and I would recommend to try it.

The takeaway I ordered was carefully packaged and there was no leakage. The noodles are still very strong when delivered, but they are really spicy. My tolerance for spicy food is probably that I can eat ordinary turkey noodles. This is quite difficult to eat. I have eaten so many oily noodles in China and they are all fragrant but not spicy. Friends who can't eat spicy food should be careful... Compared to Daming Restaurant, the saliva chicken is a few dollars cheaper but it is completely boneless. It tastes so good. The seasoning is relatively light and the sesame sauce flavor is obvious: a la carte I didn’t take a picture of the braised beef, but the quantity is okay. The seasoning is traditional, but the taste is a bit dry.

Super delicious food! We had the table right next to the fridge (the table gave me that Refrigerator locked). Unfortunately, that was very annoying because the door was often opened and the cold air was always hitting me in the face. Would take away the table there completely. The rest was great!

The service employee worked very attentively, which was clearly noticeable. The broth was really deep in flavor and had the perfect amount of spice, which I really appreciated. The beef, which consisted of the ox brisket, was incredibly tender and pleasant to chew. The only criticism was that the noodles were a bit too thick and had a slight flour taste, which was a bit of a shame.

The food was really tasty and you could watch the chefs making and preparing the fresh pasta. Otherwise, the menu wasn't too big and overloaded, so I knew that a lot of it was freshly prepared. The service could be a little bit better. But there were only a few little things that bothered me. E.g. the loud beeping of the pasta cooking machine or that my full drink was simply cleared away. Otherwise, I can really warmly recommend the restaurant.

From a half-northwestern child: You either don’t call it oily noodles, or don’t make it taste like this... And this noodles can only be said to be the level of being pulled out by your own hands at home. Add some side dishes to fill your teeth. At this price, I really difficult to evaluate.

In general I felt it was missing depth, no overall punch to the flavors, I couldn't taste any garlic or cilantro. Noodles consistency was ok. Portions too small. Noodles with Chilly oil and ground beef for 17 euro are not cool. Over all it's ok. Nothing tasted bad. But nothing I would come back for. The competition is big in Berlin. Staff was nice though.

This is the best place ever! I definitely think it’s worth going out of your way to try this place out! I went there both days and both days everything was just amazing! The food is out of this world, the service is great and super fast! I got the Hong Shao noodle soup with chopped tofu the first day and it was so flavourful, so delicious. It’s genuinely the best thing i’ve ever had in my life and I think about it even to this day! The second day we had the DanDan Noodles, again with chopped tofu to go and even though we came in 30 minutes before closing, the staff was so nice to us and they made us the food no problem! The hand made noodles are so bouncy and chewy, and so large! I really don’t know which part of the meal i liked most as all the ingredients were of high quality and delicious! I highly recommend the Hong Shao noodle soup with chopped tofu (and add some chilli oil, trust me, it will transport the whole experience to another level!). I’ll definitely come back here when I’m visiting Berlin again! Thank you to all the cooks and staff for the amazing experience 🙌

Noodles are top and authentic, but the waitress is terribly rude and impolite.

Overall it was good, but there are a few points to complain about. I think it's poor value for money. The food was quite expensive for the small portion and you won't even get full. The way the noodle-chilli-oil dish is served is a bit cheeky. It looks like it's a lot of noodles, but underneath the top "layer of noodles" is a big pile of bean sprouts. The amount of pasta you have is really small. The taste was good, nothing extraordinary. There is quite a bit of vegetarian choice, which is very good. Conclusion: You can do it, but you don't have to.

Good, but not at the level of nearby competitors. Hand-pulled noodles have become the standard for us... the noodles offered here tasted good, but seemed less handmade because they were too perfectly shaped. The service was less motivated. We had pasta in chilli oil (recommended) and pasta with tomato/egg (can't do anything). Price ok.

I had really high expectations for this restaurant because it is rated 4.8 stars. Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed. The service was really slow - we had to wait forever for our food. When the Dan Dan Noodles with peanuts and ground beef finally came, the taste wasn't particularly great either. The food was kind of bland and not what I expected with such a good review. Overall, the visit was unfortunately disappointing. Therefore I only give it 3 out of 5 stars. Hopefully things will get better soon!

Place that offers homemade noodles, well seasoned, very fast service, ideal place in case one day you don't have much time to eat/cook since they don't close in the afternoon

Unfortunately not as expected. 14 euros for pasta in oil is too much. The noodles were ok, but the oil sauce wasn't particularly tasty and was heavy on the stomach. No vegetables with it… Really disappointing.

One of the best noodles you can get in Berlin. You can see that the staff are making them by themselves behind the counter! The ingredients are all fresh, and the food tastes delicious and without any chemical additions. The choices on the menu are not too much, which is so much better than being overwhelmed with countless meals. There are even plenty of vegetarian choices, so everyone can be satisfied here as well. The service is also very kind and you feel welcome. It's definitely worth more than one visit!

Not worth 5 stars. Unfortunately I can't agree with the 5 star reviews. Cutlery wasn't clean, but we were able to exchange it. Still wasn't a nice feeling. Noodles were tough, sauces average. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't right either. The edamame tasted like water and was far too small for a whopping €5. You can do it, but you don't have to.

Love that they only have a small menu with a great choice and many vegan options. All of the vegetarian options are vegan and half of the starters are vegan as well. Tried the vegan Dan Dan Noodles with peanuts and tofu as well as the vegan Gyoza. The Gyoza was good, but missing a bit of taste. The Dan Dan Noodles where a 10/10 taste-wise but the portion could have been a bit bigger for the price. It was lots of cucumber and tofu, but not too many noodles. Only giving the good 4/5 stars because it felt a bit overpriced for what you get.

Great Noodle place. Dishes were full of flavour and crafted very well. The menu was small but very high quality. The place felt modern and clean. Staff were rather hands off which has its benefits and drawbacks.

The handoulled noodles were delicious! The broth was very spicy and flavorful. Everything was freshly prepared, you could even watch it. The ambience was quite nice but you sat outside right on the street.
