Die Gastgeber waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, das Essen empfand ich als richtig gut. Was man auf jeden Fall mitbringen sollte ... ist Hunger. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr solch große Portionen vorgesetzt bekommen. Wir waren zu viert dort und drei von haben sich den Rest einpacken lassen. Das Ambiente ist einfach, Rustikal und geht eher so in Richtung Imbiss. Da es mir eher um das Essen geht, werde ich hier zukünftig öfter mal Essen gehen.

Sind seit Jahren Stammgäste im Golden Garten ✌️❤️ Auch mit der neuen Geschäftsleitung sind wir sehr zufrieden. Das Essen ist wie immer sehr, sehr lecker und wird frisch zubereitet 😋 Die Bedienung ist auch sehr aufmerksam und schnell . Außerdem ist alles rundherum ein schönes Ambiente und man fühlt sich einfach wohl ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️ Deswegen geben wir gerne 5 Sterne 👍 👍👍👍👍 Macht weiter so, wir kommen gerne wieder✌️ Bis bald Es grüßt euch G&GFelis❤️

Sehr schade dass man nicht angibt,dass die Küche nur bis 21 Uhr geöffnet hat.Extra nach Feierabend rangefahren um dann abgeimmelt zu werden.Enttäuschend

Es wirkte sehr authentisch. Die Frühlingsrollen sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen.

Ich korrigiere meine Bewertung: Mittlerweile bietet man endlich auch Kartenzahlung an. Das Personal ist wirklich freundlich. Eine negative Erfahrung hatte ich bei einer Bestellung jedoch. Man hat für ein Biermischgetränk beide Komponenten in Rechnung gestellt. So habe ich für ein 0,5 alkoholfreies Bier 7,70 € bezahlen sollen. Auf meine Beschwerde hin hat man mir 1 € zurückgegeben. 6,70 € finde ich noch immer extrem frech. Wenn es nur so möglich ist, muss man das vorher sagen. Für ein Alster wird ja sicher auch nicht Fanta und Bier getrennt berechnet. Zumal ich die verkaufte Menge nicht mal erhalten habe.

Ein kleines und gutes Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Unfortunately, my dish wasn't freshly prepared; the vegetables were the cheapest kind and unseasoned, and the meat wasn't freshly cooked but reheated from the day before. I can't recommend it.

The food was, as always, plentiful and delicious. There's been a change in management recently. The outdoor area has been pimped up a bit and looks a bit more inviting. Some of the dishes are new, the food looks fresher and more appetizing, and a few improvements have been made here and there.

We were here for the first time today, September 20, 2023. We were drawn to it by the many positive reviews. Additionally, the restaurant is easily accessible for us. You can even get there on three bus lines. You have to find your parking space in the adjacent streets. It's a rather small restaurant with several tables in the front garden. We really have to praise the service, a very friendly, attentive, young, and good-looking lady! We tried a lunch menu and a main course. Neither of us were disappointed! It tasted very good, and the portions were more than sufficient. We were offered a welcome cocktail beforehand and even an encore at the end. We highly recommend it and promise to come back! We kept that promise today, October 22nd. Once again, we felt at home. The food was delicious! And the lovely, friendly lady served us very friendly again! Today, August 1, 2025, we were once again satisfied! A friendly welcome, and the food was delicious.

Classic Chinese restaurant with very friendly owners & staff

We've been eating here regularly for years. Since the owner changed, the food has unfortunately not tasted good at all. Sauces taste different than usual. The hot and sour soup suddenly tasted different and once it was burnt. The friendliness is still great, as usual, but the food is no longer. Unfortunately... We probably won't be coming again.

I can absolutely recommend this place. The food is very good and of high quality even after the change of operator. The service is very friendly and quick. You don't have to wait long for your food. The restaurant is small but nice and therefore has an absolute family atmosphere.

Addendum from 4/20/25 Were there today with 13 people for a birthday. 11 people received their food relatively promptly, the last two only when everyone was ready. That's not possible at all, especially since guests at the other table who came after us had their food beforehand. Unfortunately, the sauce for the crispy duck was very salty. There was no light in the women's toilet and you sat in the dark. Notified but they weren't able to replace a bulb. It's a shame that the store has slacked off so much. Now look for someone else. Addendum from 12/26/24 Unfortunately the restaurant has deteriorated. The nice waitress who always remembered everything is no longer there. The seat covers on the chairs are broken, which looks shabby. Unfortunately the food has also deteriorated. Lots of large pieces of onion and mine. The food today was very spicy. I think it's time to find a new Chinese restaurant ☹️ too bad Small shop and it's better to make a reservation. We have been regular guests here for years and have always been very satisfied. I don't know if the kitchen staff has changed or if there is new management, but everything has slowed down. The food is no longer of the same quality and the service is also not up to scratch. Either you wait almost 20 minutes until you get the card and then the wrong food was brought twice. Always very friendly, but we miss the boss of the Golden Garden very much. We'll probably look for another Chinese restaurant. Too bad!!!

The good reviews are true. Absolutely delicious and menu costs €16.80. Here you can get Chinese, Thai and Japanese cuisine at the best price. Best price-performance ratio.

We were kindly sent home at 8.30 p.m. with the comment that at that time we could only eat outside the house. They used to be regular guests but after the new management they are no longer there. The guest has to follow the landlord's instructions here. The difference between the landlord and me is: He only has one restaurant to choose from, I have many! This is definitely not one of them.

If you want to eat here, you should plan an overnight stay. Not that you have to wait an hour for your food, no, you can be happy if you can place an order within an hour. A single, completely overwhelmed person in service, something like that doesn't work. I can't judge the food because I didn't even get around to ordering, we left the "thing". ZERO STARS, one only had to be given in order to be able to rate it.

I really like this Chinese restaurant. HEN HAO! 🤩 I like it and am grateful for the expanded vegetarian options. 🌱 The service staff are very nice. Even the little things are thought of! Unfortunately I don't know the younger lady's name, but she is so warm and always made me the non-alcoholic welcome drink during my pregnancy. 😸 Even my mom is a bit critical about restaurants, but she likes it too. The outdoor area is also very pleasant during the warm months.

Update The previous 5 stars were for the previous owners. They did a great job and it was always a pleasure to eat there. Unfortunately, after the change, this is no longer the case. The service is no longer that good and is often overwhelmed. The food in the Chinese area is definitely not that good anymore. The new dishes are okay, but unfortunately nothing out of the ordinary, as restaurants in this direction appear very often now. Unfortunately, it used to be our favorite restaurant, but now we don't go there anymore.

The service was overwhelmed. Two boys who always had to be called loudly. The taste of the dishes has declined significantly over the past two years. For example: Four Seasons or Lucky Pig. Otherwise still a nice shop.

I was planning on giving it two stars. My food has nothing to do with good Asian cuisine. There is China Style on a convenient basis. A lot of it comes from a glass or can. Serve fresh or spiced up with fresh peppers and carrots. Very far from Chinese cuisine. Sauce boring. The affordable price lies in the details. It's actually a shame, the service is very friendly. But the cooking skills are non-existent. So three stars instead of two, because it's cheap.

Had dinner there for the first time yesterday. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. What's a shame is that you can only pay in cash there. I was lucky that I had a little cash with me for once.

Finally go out for Chinese food again. Searched on Google and found it. Called for a reservation. Lucky. One more place available for 2. Timing misjudged, 20 minutes early. But no problem. Das Foto, was man sehen kann, worauf ich antworte ist gut gemacht, entspricht leider nicht dem Platz, dessen was man glaubt zu haben. Essen ist typisch, ich fand es an dem Tage, war es versalzen. Frische Luft gab es auch erst, nach dem ich darum gebeten hatte. . . Ich würde gerne positives schreiben, finde, es ist ok um günstig satt zu werden. Ist nicht mein Favorit.

Wir waren gestern mit 12 Leuten da und haben ein Geburtstag gefeiert. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam. Die Speicherkarte ist groß, denke für jeden ist was dabei. Das Essen ist unfassbar lecker. Ein sehr sehr gutes Restaurant. Einfach Perfekt.

Das Hähnchenfleisch war undefinierbar / wabbelig. Ich habe es nicht gegessen. Mehr Bambus als Gemüse. Die Sauerscharf Suppe würde ich als Sauerscharf Brühe bezeichnen. Vielleicht mal überdenken das nicht nur Rentner ohne Geschmacksinne bei Ihnen einkehren.

Ganz tolles Preis Leistungsverhältnis und super leckeres Essen. Der Service freundlich und nett, sehr zu empfehlen. Wir hatten alle unterschiedliche Entengerichte und alle waren gut und ausreichend um satt zu werden. Toll fanden wir das viele frische Gemüse. Werden auf jedenfall wieder kommen.
