The beer garden should offer grilled chicken, ribs, and pork knuckles. Perhaps that's not woke enough in this green region, though. There are speed cameras in every village.

Tonight, on the 17th, there was live music. Very good and pleasant. Not too loud. Nice atmosphere. However, we weren't satisfied with the food. Small portion for a lot of money. Charging €6.50 for two slices of average-tasting bread with cheese from a discount store is pretty cheeky. The sausage salad, Swiss style—well, I found the cheese somewhere. And a 40-minute wait was also a negative record. Cheese bread and sausage salad can be prepared in advance... Hence only 1 star.

After a bike ride, we went to eat in the evening. The sausage salad tasted okay. I've eaten worse. The bread that was served with it was good, but for ten euros the portion was unfortunately very small, and hunger drove us to order again. Each of us ordered a red sausage, but it didn't taste that good. Lukewarm in the middle and the skin on the outside was like rubber, not crispy. A shame, I remembered it being better. I think I'll give the beer garden another chance this month or next month. If everything is good, I'll improve the rating, and if not, it might go down. I don't really write bad reviews very often, actually never, but I was really annoyed. The service at the checkout was nice and there was nothing to complain about. The service was also informed about the portion being too small. They just didn't inform us about the red sausage because there was no contact with the staff during the second order. You pay in advance.

The Welzheimer beer garden is highly recommended! The atmosphere is wonderfully cozy and invites you to linger, whether for a relaxed evening with friends or a cozy meal with family. I would especially like to highlight the staff. Everyone is super friendly, attentive, and makes you feel completely at home. Was there last night with my wife and had sausage salad which was delicious. I also treated myself to a tripe soup which was also delicious.

The food labeled in the display case doesn't reflect what's actually on offer. A handwritten, scaled-down menu is displayed on a board next to the cash register.

A pleasant beer garden with mature trees on the outskirts of Welzheim, with a playground right next door. Typical Swabian beer garden dishes, from delicious sausage salad to Maultaschen (roasted ravioli) to currywurst, etc. A selection of different beers, cocktails, and other beverages are available. When the Waldbahn (forest railway) is running again, the beer garden can also be reached by train or bus.

From my seat, I had a view of a small part of the kitchen. I wouldn't necessarily eat there.

If you're still hungry right before closing time, you'd better bring a picnic basket – because hot food is no longer available here more than an hour and a half before closing time. Of course, you don't find out about this beforehand, but only after you've ordered – after all, there has to be suspense. Instead, I was served a sausage salad that falls more into the "need eats misery" category – somewhere between a Monday canteen and a yesterday's fridge find. The small side salad? At least edible. So yes, you'll be full.

A beautiful beer garden, worth stopping by even on warm summer days to enjoy the shade of the chestnut trees. Another positive aspect is that the owners are very helpful and always friendly. A visit is always worthwhile, as the atmosphere is wonderful. The food is excellent, although it may seem a bit pricey at first, but the portions are acceptable. The quality is high and the work is done with passion. The only drawback is the wait when it's really busy. Otherwise, as a regular, I'm very satisfied.

1. A lot needs to be changed or improved in the beer garden... We were there on Saturday evening with friends for 3 hours.... Order/checkout and issue in one place that doesn't fit there (waited 30 minutes) Holiday resorts might be advisable as a service and should be considered... 2. The food: I had currywurst with fries and felt like I was at a stand at the folk festival or at the outdoor pool in the old days... Currywurst on a paper plate and fries in a paper bag Consumed on site, you can expect sausage and fries to be served on real plates... Fries in a paper bag that doesn't work at all... 3. Taste: Fries were crispy and well-cooked, which suited... Currywurst was a bit too little for the price and ketchup was very sour and inedible One had the impression that it had been stretched... Prices ok... But the organization regarding ordering and serving needs to be worked on

Great team, food is excellent and a very nice place to stay.

I often go to this beer garden. Unfortunately, I discovered that the quality and quantity of the food varies greatly. Last time I had a leaf salad with baked feta, olives, seeds, cucumber salad and carrots. This time there were no olives and grains and you could count the cucumbers. The amount of leaf lettuce was also very manageable. A somewhat unfriendly older lady at the counter put the end to yesterday's visit. Really a shame.

You shouldn't be hungry. Currywurst with fries can take 50 minutes. The ambience itself is nice. Too little is made of it.

Thommy, you are missed. In your case, the Welzheim beer garden was still a Bavarian beer garden, where you could bring your own snack. The great location under chestnut trees and the delicious Augustiner Bräu are the only things that remain. The warmth has been lost and the food is a disaster. A fire sausage from the grill that was probably on the grill the day before and then warmed up in the deep fryer. The bread roll from the supermarket is at least 2 days old, baked and the bottom is black. You would like to bring your own food again.

We were in Schwabenpark and then wanted to eat something in a good home-style kitchen. We then came across this beer garden which is only 9 minutes away from the park. We ordered the beer garden plate twice with a Maultaschen, meatballs and potato salad. Mega prepared and very, very tasty 😋 Like Grandma from Munich, Maultaschen was given 6 stars. The sauce is also very tasty and has a good sour taste. Very busy beer garden, busy but great. Staff is friendly so far. Card payment is possible. Next visit we know where we can have a really great meal. We recommend.

I guess I got a new interpretation from an Obazda. 3 scoops of Obazda shaped into a soup bowl using an ice cream scoop. Then red onion rings. Totally loveless. No garnishes like radishes, cucumber or peppers. Tasteless, no caraway, chives or paprika powder. I know it differently. Too bad.

Beautifully located beer garden. Large children's playground nearby. Drinks, food and ice cream on offer. I like to stay here for a break from motorcycling and cycling.

Were there on Father's Day. All hell broke loose. The food was ordered and we were given a device that vibrates when it is ready to be picked up. After almost an hour, still nothing has happened. When asked, they said there was an error and that's why it didn't vibrate. Then got the food immediately. I know the staff can't help it. I still wanted to say it.

Great beer garden in a beautiful location! Delicious freshly tapped Augustiner beer, the food is also delicious. Would love to come back. The adjacent playground was great for my children.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, gemütlich und auch gute Auswahl an Essen und Getränken. Preise sind okay. Gehen regelmäßig und sehr gerne dahin.

Der schönste Biergarten weit und breit. Unter hohen Kastanienbäumen, neben einem Waldstück mit Mammutbäumen, Kinderspielplatz daneben.Und vor allem mit Augustiner das perfekte Bier für einen Biergarten. Ganz ehrlich: die z.T. negativen Kommentare bzgl. des Preisniveaus, der Qualität der Speisen, oder dass unter der Woche erst um 17:00 geöffnet wird, kann ich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Dass im Gastrobereich die Kosten ebenfalls gestiegen sind, Personal schwer zu bekommen ist und vor allem nicht zum Nulltarif, ein Biergarten kein Sternerestaurant ist, ein ganztägiger Betrieb in Welzheim einfach nicht wirtschaftlich zu bewerkstelligen ist, sollte jedem einleuchten. Wir alle sollten froh sein, dass es eine solche Einrichtung in Welzheim gibt. Geschlossene Gastronomiebetriebe gibt es genug.

Leider nur mittelmäßiges Essen. Ich hatte die Maultaschen mit Kartoffelsalat, beides eher zu salzig und geschmacklich so mittelgut. Ambiente total gut, direkt an der Eisenbahnlinie, Preise für das gebotene eher zu teuer (auch die Mitesserin war mit ihrer Currywurst/Pommes nicht so zufrieden).

Es gab für mich bisher hier nichts u bemängeln....sehr zu empfehlen die dreierlei Knödel...Top

Einfach der schönste Biergarten und jetzt auch mit leckerem Essen!

Nette Location zum Verweilen. Gutes Essen und schönes Ambiente. Großer Spielplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Wenn der Biergarten geöffnet hat, ist es recht schön dort zu sitzen. Nur schade, dass man sich nicht auf die Öffnungszeiten im Internet verlassen kann. Waren am Sonntag dort und mussten feststellen (wie übrigens viele andere Leute auch), dass er bei bestem Wetter geschlossen hat.

Sehr gemütlicher Biergarten. Doch leider ist das Essen nicht so lecker. Die Pommes schmecken sehr nach Fett und es gibt keine Blattsalate zur Auswahl. Der Apfelstrudel war auch nicht überzeugend. Schade.

Wir waren heute das erste mal im Biergarten mit den neuen Pächtern, weis ich nicht so toll fand ist die Größe vom Wurstsalat für 9€. Ich weis ja nicht aber am Nachbartisch wurde auch Wurstsalat gegessen das war bestimmt die doppelte Portion. Geschmacklich war das Essen sehr gut.

Zum dort sitzen und die Kids auf den tollen Spielplatz lassen wirklich gut. Unter den Bäumen lässt es sich aushalten. Allerdings sehr schade, das bei halb belegtem Garten man 40min auf Currywurst und Wurstsalat warten muss. Auch wenn das essen dann geschmacklich kein Highlight, aber in Ordnung war, ist die Portion dem Preis nicht angemessen. Für die erhaltene Menge leider zu teuer. Und wenn auf der Karte „mit Kartoffel-Gurkensalat“ steht, sollte es das auch sein. Und nicht kommentarlos was anderes serviert. Etwas mehr Freundlichkeit an Kasse und vor allem Ausschank könnte auch nichts schaden. Und ob die Getränkepreise angebracht sind, soll jeder selbst entscheiden. Bier 0,5l für 4,40€ und 0,5-Flasche Wasser, Apfelschorle usw für 3,80€, sind für diesen Platz etwas zu viel finde ich

Tolle Biergartenstimmung. Solides und normales Ambiente. Der Auftritt der "T-Bones" kam sichtbar toll beim Publikum an!

Das Ambiente ist einladend schön, direkt neben einem Spielplatz. Als Essen gibt es eine kleine Auswahl.

Ein sehr schöner Biergarten der zum Einkehren einlädt, nachdem man am anliegenden Welzheimer Wald mit den eindrucksvollen Mammutbäumen, einen schönen Spaziergang gemacht hat. Wunderbar für einen Sonntagnachmittags Spaziergang mit Hündchen. 😊 Der Biergarten hat immer bei Biergartenwetter von 11 Uhr bis 22 Uhr geöffnet. Wir hatten das Vesperbrett, für 12 € etwas gepfeffert aber lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die beste Aufenthalt in Welzheim, vor allem die Essen einfach nur top , frisch und viel Auswahl. Die Preise sind auch für diese frischen und sehr leckeren Essen sehr gut 👍 👍 👍 Tolle Ambiente mit tollen Personal.

Ich finde die Lage wunderschön von dem Biergarten. War jetzt schon 3x Personal war immer freundlich. Wenn man aber keine trockene Pommes möchte muss man für ne Tüte Ketchup nochmal 40cent bezahlen🙈 Da ich persönlich gerne rot/Weiß esse sind das zusätzlich 80 Cent ich finde wenigstens eine Zutat könnte inkl. sein😊 alles in einem ist das aber wirklich ein gelungener Biergarten

Ein sehr schönet Ort, wo man gemeinsam bei gutem Essen und Programm entspannen kann.

Ein schöner Biergarten mit sehr gutem Bier und einer guten Auswahl an Speisen. Es ist immer sehr viel los und es gibt leider nicht genügend Plätze, sodass wir unser Essen an einem Stehtisch essen mussten. Das Personal war an diesem Tag leider etwas überfordert.

Toller Biergarten in schöner Lage. Nettes und engagiertes Team. Gute und ausreichende Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken, die auch sehr gut schmecken. Jedoch sind die Preise, vor allem bei den Getränken, für Selbstbedienung schon sehr gehoben. Daher ein Stern Abzug.

Schöner Biergarten, gutes Essen. Leider alles Selbstbedienung, ich werde lieber am Tisch bedient. Dennoch lohnt sich der Besuch hier auf jeden Fall. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Freundlich doch leider nicht für jeden Geldbeutel

Wir waren heute nach einer ausgedehnten Wanderung im neu eröffneten Biergarten. Direkt am Abenteuerspielplatz von Welzheim gelegen ist er bei schönem Wetter direkt ab 17 Uhr gut besucht. Auch dass er bei schönem Wetter Mo-So geöffnet hat finden wir klasse! Das muss man auch erstmal stemmen. Tipp: die Parkplätze an der Straße nutzen, beim Spielplatz selbst hat es nur wenige, die meistens belegt sind. Da wir so früh dran waren, mussten wir nicht lange auf unser Essen warten. Wir haben die Karte rauf und runter bestellt um fast alles einmal zu probieren. Hier unsere Eindrücke: - alles hat geschmeckt - die warmen Speisen waren heiss! - alles war frisch zubereitet - frische, gute Zutaten (bspw Pilze auf den Flammkuchen waren keine Dosenchampignons sondern frische) - der Knaller sind die selbst gemachten Chicken Nuggets, das Hähnchen war sehr zart ohne jegliche Knorpel - es war sauber, alles ordentlich - Küche und Theke sind nett, sehr gut organisiert und auch bei Ansturm funktionieren die Abläufe 1A. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können den neuen Biergarten sehr empfehlen! Randnotiz: ja beim Vorgänger war alles günstiger, aber Essen konnte man das nicht, das war Großküchen Fertigware, oft kalt und zäh. Die Preise sind völlig im Rahmen für frisch gekochtes Essen mit frischen Zutaten.
