Sehr gute Produkte. Saucen kann der Koch besonders gut. Ob Rostbraten oder Braten, alles schmeckte wunderbar. Und dann noch zum Abschluss ein Sorbet. Das ist Genuss pur!

The Restaurant zur Obermühle is a really nice and family-run restaurant! As a starter I had the pumpkin cream soup from Hokkaido - super tasty, nice and creamy and seasoned just right. Afterwards there was the onion roast from German pastured beef with spaetzle. Dude, the meat was so tender and the onions were just perfect! The spaetzle really rounded the whole thing off. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, everything was perfect. The restaurant has a really cozy atmosphere, you can tell that the family puts their heart and soul into it. I'll definitely go there again!

Unfortunately some of the food was too salty. Despite notification, there was no apology. Very unfortunate.

Starter (tripe soup) was really good, which I can't say about the main course (onion roast for €32). I ordered medium but it was completely overdone. The potato salad only tasted like mustard. The service left a lot to be desired after the meal. Plates weren't taken away for ages and you weren't asked if you wanted anything else to drink. After what felt like an eternity we got the dessert menu. The order was taken half an hour later and the dessert came another half hour later. The payment process took so long again.

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Essen und ausgesprochen freundlichem Service. Wie waren äußerst zufrieden und fanden es super, dass für die Kinder schon Stifte und Malpapier auf dem Tisch lagen, sowie Spiele vor Ort.

I can only highly recommend this restaurant! I have never eaten such an excellent roast wild boar before. I learned from the cook that the sow was shot only 10km away.

Es war super lecker! Sowohl der Wildschweinbraten meines Mannes als auch mein Spargel - wir können das Restaurant wirklich wärmstens weiter empfehlen und kommen bestimmt wieder!

It was our first time in the Obermühle and we had reserved a table for 6 people in advance. Upon arrival we were very impressed by the architecture of the beautiful building. However, the disillusionment came in the fully occupied restaurant when we were led to the table we had reserved, which was "squeezed" between two other tables, so that we had hardly any freedom of movement and a comfortable and relaxed meal was impossible. If someone had to use the toilet - even at the adjacent tables - everyone had to get up from their chairs and there was a real crowd. Our table was also far too small for the oversized plates. When I pointed out the cramped situation to the waitress, she said it would be better in the summer as there would be more space outside, which we didn't find particularly helpful. In addition, some of the food was too salty. The conclusion we take with us is that we will forego this experience in the future - even in the summer - especially since in our case the price/performance ratio was not right.

Went to Obermühle for lunch today with 18 people and everyone was very happy with everything. Even though it was very busy, we didn't have to wait very long. The waitresses were very friendly. Food came almost immediately. Quality was top, with everything that was on our table. Roast onion, roast wild boar, cream roast veal as well as the vegetarian dish with ricotta raviolli. The arrangement on the plates is very modern and harmonious. You can recommend the restaurant without hesitation. Keep it up !

hervorragende Speisen und Auswahl dieser, das Personal und der Chefkoch verstehen ihre Sache von der Pieke bis hin zur gekonnten Auftischung der zu kredenzten Mahlzeit mit Humor und je nach geforderten Situationen zu erkennen und Händeln... ein Ambiente das man bei diesen Preisen eigentlich nur in expuisiten Lokalität erwartet hätte... also nur zu empfehlen,, zur Obermühle,,, 👍👌👌👍

Cozy atmosphere and very friendly service. As always, very tasty, parsnip soup with beetroot, followed by a cream-roasted veal with fried potatoes.

I finally managed to stop at the Obermühle. Many beautiful photos and positive stories made me curious and my expectations were even exceeded. After I was warmly welcomed and shown to the place, the attentive service lady offered me the day's recommendations. I chose the Asian fish soup as a starter, the roast goose for the main course and the apple crumble as dessert. As a greeting from the kitchen, the senior manager gave me delicious homemade goose fat with pepperoni, which got my taste buds in the mood. With the soup, the kitchen proved that it can conjure up not only Swabian specialties, but also extremely delicate international dishes on the plate. The soup, which was characterized by authentic Asian flavors, included shrimp, clams, salmon and pike perch, mushrooms and glass noodles as well as octopus carpaccio. Sesame and coriander were present as a support, but not intrusive. A very tasty soup that I could probably have found in Asia! The roast goose was presented on a pleasantly large plate so that the individual components did not have to be squeezed together and had their own stage. The tender, perfectly fried goose lay on a fruity apple and red cabbage and had a consistently crispy skin. There was also a bread dumpling and a potato dumpling with delicious crumble melts, chestnuts and cranberries. The sauce was served separately and poured at the table by the attentive waitress. Very nice! For dessert, despite the recommendation of Ofenschlupfer (which I always take when it's available), I decided on the apple crumble and I'm very happy about it, because this apple crumble may be simple, but I've never had it so tasty can enjoy! The presentation couldn't have been better. The apple cubes cooked to perfection in an enamel pot, still with a delicate bite, in an excellent apple-cinnamon broth, sprinkles and powdered sugar on top, brilliant. Next to it is a large scoop of vanilla ice cream on a dark fruit base, with fresh whipped cream with brittle and various fruits. That was simply wonderful! During this two-hour feast I was perfectly looked after, the Brestels took turns coming to the table to ask questions, and the service was very attentive. The price-performance ratio is more than justified! I can't understand the comments that it would be too expensive. Portion size, craftsmanship and quality are exceptionally good! After this visit, I can only warmly recommend the Obermühle! I'm looking forward to further visits because I saw a lot of dishes on the menu that I would have liked to order. Das Essen in diesem Restaurant ist sehr gut und auch der Service hier ist sehr gut.

Wirklich feines Essen, das wir abgeholt haben! Zuvorkommende gute Beratung, flexibler Umgang mit unseren Wünschen: wir haben das Essen dann doch nicht warm abgeholt, sondern in Plastikbeutel eingeschweisst. Erstaunlich, was sich da alles wieder einfach warm machen lässt, und dann noch echt lecker schmeckt! Dadurch, dass die Beutel auch in der Bäckerei zu haben sind, ist man von Ferien und freien Tagen noch unabhängiger und auch von den Öffnungszeiten. Es empfielt sich jedoch, auch hier vorzubestellen, um die volle Auswahl zu haben, gerade wenn man für ein paar Leute mehr einkauft...

Wow! So muss schwäbische Küche sein. Gemütliches Ambiente, hervorragendes Essen und tolle, freundliche Bedienung.

Sehr schönes Restaurant! Wäre schön wenn es ein oder zwei gute vegetarische Gerichte und evtl. noch ein veganes geben würde. Speisekarte im Internet war leider nicht übereinstimmend mit der vor Ort. Sprich die vegetarischen Tagliatelle waren leider nicht da. Ansonsten hat das Essen sehr gut geschmeckt und der Service war auch top.

Verschwinde Tagesessen die sich jedes Mal lohnen. Es sind große und gute Portionen. Die sich echt lohnen.

Absolut tolles Essen! Kleine aber feine Speisekarte und in ländlicher ruhiger Ecke! Terrasse ist groß und es gibt auch einen Wickeltisch wir waren sehr gerne hier und kommen mal wieder. Tipp: reservieren ist hier sicherer!
