Vom Service bis Essen mega toll und lecker...wir haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder...macht weiter so.

Essen und Service hat mich und meine Familie sehr abgeholt

War zum ersten mal dort mit 9 leuten. Essen wurde schnell serviert .es was super lecker.preis leistung stimmt.gefühlt war für jeden tisch eine servicekraft zuständig.reservierung ist zu empfehlen.gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit dem zuvorkommenden Service und den geschmackvollen Speisen aller Art sehr zufrieden. Tolles Restaurant mit direktem Blick auf das historische Stadttor Eisenachs.

Wenn man mal was Gutes essen und trinken will, dann ist man hier richtig.

Angenehme Atmosphäre, breites Angebot an Speisen, ausgesuchte Weine und Cocktails. Unsere Vorspeisen waren sehr lecker, vor allem der überbackene Ziegenfrischkäse war super. Bei den Hauptspeisen war das Rindersteak auf den Punkt gebraten, aber leider mit der Pfeffersauce überschüttet. Die hätte ich mir separat gewünscht. Ähnlich war es bei den Lammfilets, Fleisch super, aber Sauce zu mächtig und die Bohnen verkocht. Alles in allem ist noch Luft nach oben. Insbesondere was Digitalisierung anbelangt: Reservierung über Homepage wurde nicht angeschaut ( zum Glück vorher noch mal angerufen) und die Gänsekeule als Tagesangebot war auch nicht aktuell (gab’s nicht).

Super freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Unsere kurze Wartezeit auf den Tisch (wirklich nur 5min und diese waren wir zu zeitig da) wurde mit einem Getränk aufs Haus überbrückt. Das Essen war super lecker und lange gewartet haben wir ebenfalls nicht darauf. Aufgrund des hohen Besucheraufkommens ist es teilweise recht laut, aber alles in einem ein tolles Ambiente. Die Toiletten waren ebenfalls sehr sauber und modern.

Ausgezeichnet. Das Abendessen, die Atmosphäre und die Freundlichkeit des Personals waren wunderbar. Auch die Umgebung ist sehr schön. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Ein herzlicher Empfang und ein Lächeln sind erst der Anfang. Das Essen war köstlich, und man merkte, dass die Zutaten von erstklassiger Qualität waren.

Super Preis leistungsverhältnis beim Essen, nettes Ambiete, am schönsten ist aber das freundliche Personal. Alle sehr herzlich gewesen und es war auch so viel Personal vorhanden, dass man nie lange auf irgendwas warten musste. Große Empfehlung

Schade, waren wirklich die einzigen an einem Samstag um 16:00 Service zu aufgesetzt, Fischfilet wirklich gute Portion aber trocken, mein Gericht hat mich auch nicht glücklich gemacht. Wunderschön angerichtet alles, Getränke waren gut, als wir gingen waren draußen bei schönsten Wetter noch 2 Tische besetzt.

Essen war super. Aber noch mehr muss man hier den Service hervorheben! Wirklich jeder Mitarbeiter/Mitarbeiterin ist sehr engagiert.

Wir haben dieses Restaurant anhand von Bewertungen aufgesucht. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und zum Tisch begleitet. Es gab eine grosse Auswahl an Weinen. Ich bestellte als Vorspeise die Entenleber im Salatbett geriebene Macadamianüsse Kumquats/Portsauce. Leider war der Garpunkt etwas drüber, war etwas trocken, ledrig, und somit zu fest, die Portsauce schmeckte ich nicht. Als Hauptspeise freute ich mich auf das Steinbeißerfilet, das war aber leider an diesem Abend nicht vorhanden. Also entschied ich mich für das gebratene Zander Filet mit Spinat getrüffeltem Kartoffelpüree und Hummer-Safransauce apart. Ich war sehr enttäuscht, gebraten war da gar nichts, labberige Fischhaut, der Spinat kaum gewürzt, und die Sauce war nur lauwarm und war so dick, daß man sie auf den Löffel bekam von einer Konsistenz wie ein Pudding. Sie schmeckte sehr unnatürlich. Der Fisch schmeckte nicht frisch. Das Püree war hingegen lecker. Die Weinauswahl war gut, Wein richtig temperiert. Ich habe knapp die Hälfte übrig gelassen, denn es war an diesem Abend kein Genuss. Würde dieses Restaurant nur nochmal aufsuchen um ein Glas guten Wein zu trinken

Eisenach is the Place to be.... Und der Abend beginnt in diesem Restaurant!!! Wunderbares Ambiente mit sehr guter Beleuchtung. Sehr freundliches, gut geschultes Personal. Unsere Speisen waren sehr gut arrangiert und preislich jeden Cent wert. Lecker allemal. Aperitif und Wein perfekt temperiert. Verabschiedung wie auch der Empfang waren herzlich. Kurzum: perfekt. Merci beaucoup!

Das Essen hier ist köstlich, der Service ist ausgezeichnet und die Aussicht ist fantastisch.

Top Service! Mediterrane Küche!

Wunderbarer Service, alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war auch einwandfrei, von Vorspeise bis zum Dessert gab es nichts zu beanstanden.

Sehr guter Service mit Witz und Charme. Essen war sehr gut und es waren sehr große Portionen. Wir werden beim nächsten Besuch in Eisenach wieder dort einkehren.

Alles Top aber, Gutscheine werden nicht am Wochenende oder Feiertagen akzeptiert. Der Stempel ist so geschickt gesetzt, das man Samstag nur mit Mühe erkennt. Wer also einen Gutschein hat, und von weiter weg kommt, hat Pech gehabt. Hatte ich in dieser Form auch noch nicht erlebt.

Leckeres Essen und angenehme Atmosphere

Wir hatten das Filetsteak mit Ziegekäse, es war Mega lecker und die Portionen waren sehr großzügig.

Stilvolles Restaurant mit angenehmer Atmosphäre. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, die Getränkeauswahl vielfältig. Als Vorspeisen hatten wir Lachs­tartar und Rindercarpaccio, beides frisch und gut abgestimmt. Die Hauptspeisen waren geschmacklich überzeugend und ansprechend angerichtet. Zum Dessert gab es Erdbeertiramisu und Schokosoufflé, beides sehr gelungen. Insgesamt ein runder Restaurantbesuch.

Hatte ein Fischfilet mit Kartoffelpüree. Schön serviert, alles in Ordnung. Doch die 3 Fischstückchen waren voll mit Geräten. Nach dem ersten Stück war mein Essen komplett kalt, weil ich so langsam essen musste um nicht ausversehen eine zu verschlucken. Die Kellnerin hat gesagt das ist normal!? Noch dazu ist es ja eigentlich ein schickeres Lokal und sich da alle paar Sekunden in den Mund zu greifen ist auch mehr als unangenehm gewesen. Mit Genuss war das absolut nicht verbunden. Schade bei dem Preis.

Ich war dort mit meiner Freundin zum Essen, um unseren Jahrestag zu feiern. Ich hatte im Vorfeld um einen Tisch abseits und in ruhiger Atmosphäre gebeten. Das Team vom Baron hat alle meine Wünsche umgesetzt und obendrein noch eine Rose als Tischdeko darauf gestellt. Das Essen war ein Traum und wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend. Das sind mehr als 5 Sterne 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟, die sich das Restaurant verdient hat. Das Ambiente ist außergewöhnlich gut gestaltet und modern. Die Speisekarte ist sehr gut gestaltet und nicht zu groß. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist gut, jeder findet dort etwas für sich. Der Service ist echt Spitze Das Erdbeertiramisu ist unschlagbar, wie alle anderen Speisen auch. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist vollkommen korrekt. Die Getränkeauswahl ist dem gehobenen Ambiente und Speisen angepasst. Reservierung ist erforderlich... Es lohnt sich ein Besuch... Familiengeführtes Restaurant, sehr aufmerksames Personal. Auch individuelle Wünsche werden erfüllt und die Speisen schmecken richtig lecker und die Portionen sind riesig. Das Menü hat eine riesige Auswahl und alle waren mehr als zufrieden. Kommen gerne wieder.

Tolle Lokation ,super Ambiente ein junger sehr flinker Kellner (hat uns gut gefallen)hat Die Laufwege für die (Haupt-Chef) Kellner übernommen, dürfte aber nicht servieren, aber abräumen, eigentlich schade,er macht seine Sache top. So nun zum wesentlichen beim Essen gab es zwar eins zwei kleine Missgeschicke die super gelöst wurden. Wir hatten Tunfischsteak mit Butterreis Blattspinat und Rumpsteak, mit Pfeffersauce und Bratkartoffeln ,das war alles sehr sehr lecker Den Bratkartoffeln hat der Crunch gefehlt, geschmacklich absolut top. Ps Aber bei meinem Weißbier sollte das einschenken besser klappen. Ps ans Team, macht weiter so alles in allem super, Das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau. Lg. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Tolles Restaurant guter Service gutes Essen, vorher auf jeden Fall reservieren

Gutes, gastliches, dabei sehr unkompliziertes Restaurant für alt und jung, herzlicher Empfang, gute Akustik, schnelle Bedienung, heiße und überraschend rasch und frisch bereitete Gerichte, lecker, gute Produkte von Fisch bis Fleisch, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Ein ganz besonderer Abend mit ganz feinem Essen

Wir haben einen Tisch für 6 reserviert (inkl. Rollstuhl) bekommen haben wir einen 4er. Bestellt habe ich ein helles Bier, bekommen habe ich ein Pils. Da mir dadurch der Hunger verging hatte ich dann nur eine Suppe gegessen & wurde darauf vom Personal merkbar satirisch als „nett“ bezeichnet!! Von der Suppe gab’s Sodbrennen! Macht einen Bogen um das Restaurante!

Wir haben uns von den überzogenen Bewertungen leiten lassen und das Weinrestaurant Baron besucht. Manche sprechen sogar von einem Michelin-Stern – meiner Meinung nach waren die Sterne-Befürworter wohl noch nie in einem echten Sternerestaurant. Wir können das Restaurant nur bedingt empfehlen, da das Essen höchstens mittelmäßig war. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass der Koch Schwierigkeiten mit Soßen und Beilagen hat – teilweise wirkt es, als wäre er gar kein ausgebildeter Koch. Zu den Speisen: Wir haben die beiden teuersten Gerichte bestellt und waren enttäuscht. Die Nudeln als Beilage zum Filetsteak waren durch die sehr dicke weiße Soße hart und ungenießbar. Obwohl auf der Karte keine Soße angegeben war, wurde zum Steak eine undefinierbare rote Soße serviert. Außerdem Vorsicht ⚠️: Das Filetsteak kostet laut Karte 33,00 €, auf der Rechnung wurden jedoch 36,00 € berechnet. Die Bratkartoffeln zum Rumpsteak waren in Öl eingelegt, ohne dass sie die richtige Hitze zum Schließen der Poren erhalten hatten – das Ergebnis war sehr, sehr, sehr fettig. Das Rumpsteak selbst war zwar sehr gut, wurde aber vollständig in eine dicke, ungenießbare Pfeffersoße getunkt. Warum sollte gutes Fleisch unter einer schlechten Soße versteckt werden? Einziger Lichtblick: die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich. Kleiner Hinweis: Die Sessel wirken billig und zu klein für die Tische. Insgesamt werde ich nicht wiederkommen, außer wegen des freundlichen Service.

War ein schöner Abend!!! Nur die Toiletten in ersten Etage und erst die Treppe bitte nur nüchtern benutzen 😁😁😁. Essen war Klasse 👍😘😘😘

We were thrilled. Recommended by good friends with whom we were able to spend time here. All tables were completely booked. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. We were personally looked after by the owner and served wonderful wines with each course. Very attentive service. If we are ever in the area again, we will gladly return. The food was delicious, as always. Unfortunately, it's a very small restaurant, where you have to sit next to strangers. Therefore, it's very loud and cramped. Nevertheless, the quality of the food and the friendly service staff make up for it.

We've been there several times. The ambiance is elegant, but you immediately feel at home and welcome. The chef and Gabi, the waiter, do a fantastic job with a lot of heart. We were in Eisenach again and stopped at Baron last Monday. The staff were very friendly when we made our reservation that morning. The evening meal was excellent. We had carpaccio, scampi, and vitello for starters. My wife overindulged a bit with three starters, which were too many. But that was her own fault. My scampi were very good. I would have preferred the lamb chops a bit more medium. But they were still very tender and juicy, and of excellent quality. I'm a chef and head chef myself and used to run the Turmschänke restaurant across the street. Our friends were also impressed. The staff are extremely friendly and competent. The chef is very friendly and welcoming. Overall, a truly wonderful experience. Keep it up. And for this review, I'll give you a free rose on your next visit. 🌹

Highly recommended! Right in the center, top-class cuisine at a fair price. Refined appetizers, sensational ox cheeks and truffle pasta. Very tasteful, understated ambiance.

A real insider tip! It may look a bit expensive at first, BUT the dishes deserve a Michelin star, and the portions are almost impossible to finish. The Baron plate, with four types of meat—each with its own sauce and homemade tagliatelle—is especially delicious. The burger is a work of art made from approximately 300 grams of meat... If you visit Eisenach, you have to eat here. On Mondays, we didn't have a reservation. On Fridays and Saturdays, you need a reservation.

We sat outside on the terrace, and the atmosphere was cozy. The food was good but nothing special. The service was too hectic and stressed for us, which rubbed off on us and made us feel uncomfortable. What bothered us most, however, was the ignorance of the head waiter. He was unfriendly when taking our order and simply ignored us the entire evening. He didn't ask if we were enjoying our meal or if we wanted anything else to drink, and we had to wait a while for the bill. We didn't have a pleasant evening there, and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Top culinary destination in Thuringia ❤️ No matter where I'm from in the world, it's always a pleasure to come to the Baron on Eisenach's Karlsplatz for a culinary delight. The overall ambiance creates a truly comfortable atmosphere. Whether I need extra side dishes, food intolerances, or other requests, I've always been treated with the utmost kindness, and my wishes have been considered and fulfilled. The food is always(!) of excellent quality, prepared to perfection, delicious, attractively served, and the value for money is unbeatable. Highly recommended by someone who considers themselves a discerning guest, and in my personal opinion, this is the best restaurant in the area. Tip: Definitely try the excellent truffle pasta, the steak with pepper sauce, the octopus, and the strawberry tiramisu :)

After 10 minutes, drinks and amuse-bouche arrived, and after 20 minutes, the delicious and large main courses. Everything was "efficient and well-timed." And that's exactly how it felt: we were "worked through," with little flair. After the main course was placed, service ended—even though the place wasn't full. When we finished eating, our plates were cleared away; then we sat there for 20 (!!!) minutes (clearly visible through the "service manager" in the striped blouse) with empty glasses. Friendly eye contact was ignored. No dessert was offered, no coffee, no grappa—well, our own fault, we wanted to order EVERYTHING. After another 10 minutes (we're talking half an hour without service), we managed to get someone to bring us the bill by waving, which was placed on the table with virtually no communication. Maybe the lady was having a bad day, maybe she didn't like us (for whatever reason—perhaps because my wife only had a bottle of water and no wine). My CONCLUSION: If you like good food and large portions, you'll definitely find what you're looking for. However, you won't generate repeat customers this way.

I was walking around Eisenach and found this restaurant. Got a nice spot on the terrace. Fast and friendly service 🍀. Food served very hot ‼️ 🔝. And a beautiful restaurant with a nice bar.

Two of us went there for dinner on a Monday evening. Lured by the many positive reviews and full of anticipation, we were unfortunately deeply disappointed. We had ordered some of the highest-quality and most expensive dishes. In short: - The rump steak was merely adequate, perhaps not sufficiently aged!? - Both sauces were unfortunately already cold when served - The fresh truffle was unfortunately pickled truffle, which is absolutely unacceptable!! Advertising fresh truffles on the menu and serving pickled ones is a no-go - As we left the restaurant, we noticed that all the other tables had received a welcome from the kitchen (baguette and spreads), but unfortunately, we didn't - The real shocker came when we paid: the menu listed the beef fillet for €33.50, but we were charged €36.50 without any comment! Conclusion: You won't see us again! Rip-off!

A very nice restaurant, with a wonderful ambiance, professional service, and excellent food. Definitely a place worth remembering and visiting. I'll definitely go back when I get the chance.

This was the best restaurant in the city I've eaten at so far. It was incredibly delicious. Both the duck breast and the lamb fillet were delicious. I'd love to know how they prepare and cook the duck breast!

Highly recommended!!! If they tweak a few things (arranging the croquettes so they stay crispy, paying attention to the freshness of the bread, etc.), this place could be a star! The food tasted fantastic, the restaurant had a great atmosphere, it was nicely decorated, the lighting was perfect, the service was attentive without being intrusive, and you really get the feeling that everyone there works together and enjoys their work. The prices are normal for a restaurant, and the quality and quantity are great (the croquettes and the goat's cheese were great)! I'll go back if I come back to Eisenach!

The service was generally very friendly and courteous. The food was served quickly, which was a positive. Unfortunately, the salad was missing dressing, and it was only brought after repeated requests. The burgers, on the other hand, were very tasty and highly recommended. The drinks were a bit unclear. The waiters weren't sure whether they were Coke Zero or regular Coke. When asked, the waiter simply replied that he didn't know. Unfortunately, at the end of our visit, no one came to the table for a long time, neither to take another order nor to pay. Overall, it was okay, but there could have been room for improvement in terms of organization and attentiveness.

Very disappointing. Unfriendly waitress. Food must be ordered as it appears on the menu; other side dishes are not allowed. Steak, unfortunately, poor quality and tasteless.

The outdoor seating is superb. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment; we couldn't understand the excellent reviews. The lamb was way overcooked, the ox cheeks were extremely fatty, and the beans were overcooked. The potato gratin was unfortunately covered in an excessive amount of cheese and didn't taste fresh at all. That was a real shame!

Good food at a fair price, friendly service and a nice place

We were there one evening when it was very busy and the staff were very stressed. Nevertheless, they were always friendly and mostly attentive. Right from the start, we were told several dishes were already sold out that evening. We took this into consideration. When we tried to order, several dishes were rejected because they were apparently no longer available. Apparently, we were given the wrong menu, which listed more dishes than the original. When the food finally arrived, two dishes came with a different side dish. When we asked, we were told that the gratin was no longer available. This was only after we asked, without prior notice, because then we would have chosen other dishes. The cocktails were brought with the wrong one, or a main ingredient was missing. Several drinks were also forgotten during the entire three-hour visit. It's a shame that more and more reservations are being accepted when capacity doesn't allow it. Due to the high prices combined with the aforementioned inconveniences, I cannot recommend it and will not be returning. It's a shame because the ambience is really nice.

This restaurant certainly has the potential to be the best in Eisenach, but unfortunately, it doesn't place much emphasis on customer service. First, on the day of our visit, all the wait staff were instructed not to accommodate any requests; we weren't even allowed to change a side dish, citing instructions "from the boss." When we had to wait over an hour for our food, and the very friendly waitress apologized to us several times, there was unfortunately no offer of compensation. There was one case where tables next to us arrived half an hour after us and had their food 20 minutes before us – I've never experienced anything like that before. "Chaos in the kitchen, sorry, your food will be here soon," our waitress said three times without us even asking, so they were fully aware that we'd been sitting there for a really long time without food. We still had to pay the full price, and nothing was offered to tide us over or compensate us, not even a drink. It's incredibly unfortunate, because the food is of incredibly high quality and the value for money is excellent.

Delicious food and really large portions! We were truly thrilled with our visit. Not only was the food delicious and beautifully presented, but the portions were also really generous, enough to satisfy everyone! The staff was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. You feel completely at home here. The ambiance is also just right: cozy, clean, and decorated with attention to detail. A great restaurant that we definitely recommend – we'll be back!

A feast of flavors unfolded before us – first in the form of a salmon tartare, artfully crowned with fish roe and subtle creams. Smoky, cool, smooth – a poem that can't be recited, but only tasted. The portion? Generous. Almost too much, you wouldn't share it – a silent symbol of culinary generosity. For my main course, I opted for the surf & turf – a dish that too often fails due to overambition. But not here. The Black Angus steak was a revelation of cooking precision: crust, temperature, flavor – in perfect balance. The shrimp – not an accompaniment, but an equal diva on the plate. And then: tagliolino, lovingly ensnared in truffle and Parmesan, creamy like a Sunday morning. Here, sea, pasture, and forest meet at eye level – without envy, without dominance, each a soloist and yet part of a symphony. The restaurant was busy and we didn't have a reservation. We still tried our luck and found it. We were warmly welcomed and a Tusch was free for us. The service was very attentive and lovely. The food was great and we had a lovely evening. Absolute recommendation!

The Baron is a real culinary highlight. The Black Angus steak was medium-rare, exactly as ordered. The soup of the day was definitely a highlight and you'll want to try out the dessert menu. The kitchen knows how to interpret classic flavors in a modern way - with great attention to detail. The Baron offers Italian hospitality with elegant design and a really good selection of food. If you can't decide, the Baron plate with different types of meat and pasta always works. Good wine selection and there is even more at the bar. For your birthday, the whole restaurant sings along to the small table fireworks.

Were there for the first time. Even though everything was fully booked, the boss still managed to find a place for the two of us. Thanks for that. Food was super tasty. Team great. After dinner we wanted to leave, but were forced (in the nicest way possible :-) ) to stay. A fantastic cocktail and a single malt later rounded off the evening. Gladly again at any time.

Completely exaggerated rating. Service was really very friendly and afterwards - there's nothing to complain about. The food is really okay, but in my opinion the cuisine is no different from any standard Italian restaurant that you can find on every corner. The only difference is that everything is served with significantly better service and better presented on the plate. The interior is partly very broken and worn out. Unfortunately, I cannot confirm this excessively high rating, but I would generally not recommend the restaurant. But sometimes you shouldn't let Google blind you too much. Maybe the reviews were just too many years ago. However, if you're looking for something special, handcrafted, upscale cuisine, you've come to the wrong place.

The food and ambience have always been great. However, unfriendly staff. Requested a reservation for Friday via the homepage on Monday, no response, regardless of whether it was accepted or rejected. If you ask by phone on Thursday you will be more or less ironed out!!!
