Great place for a quick snack, cocktail or Frankfurter specialty. We had the cheese in vinegar (typical for Frankfurt), 2 Frankfurter sausages with potato salad (delicious!!!), 1 currywurst with curry sauce and 8 Red Hot Chili Peppers. Everything was very rich and enough for 3 people. The service is super friendly, smooth and relaxed. An address to remember and come back! Recommended!

I always like to come here for a quick meal/drink when I'm in the city centre. Service is always nice & quick, prices are affordable and the food is really nice. I read a lot of negative comments but in my opinion they are not fair because I personally never had a bad experience here. They have heated tearas that is amazing during winter time.

I recently had the opportunity to spend an evening with friends at the Weidenhof in Frankfurt, and unfortunately our experience was anything but convincing. We were looking forward to a social gathering with cocktails and something sweet, but the reality hardly lived up to our expectations. The cocktails were disappointing and had little taste. It felt like they were made from ready-made mixes rather than fresh ingredients. The waffles and apple strudel didn't taste particularly good either - they were neither fresh nor well seasoned and seemed more like mass-produced goods than homemade treats. As for the prices, I was honestly shocked. The prices are simply excessive for the quality offered. I would have expected more, especially in such a central location. Overall, I cannot recommend Weidenhof if you are looking for high quality drinks and food. There are definitely better options in Frankfurt for a nice evening with friends. I will avoid this local restaurant in the future.

So I'll say that the service staff are good and friendly but the thing about the toilet is not at all clear, because firstly the women's toilet didn't work at all because it was so dirty and the toilet attendant was so unfriendly but how

Food very tasty, service good. 3 stars because: Cleaning lady who you should (can) give money to when you go to the toilet. In return you get an extremely corpulent and lazy cleaning lady who greets you with a belch. Why lazy? Despite the cleaning lady, one of the men's two toilets is very dirty, the other is just ok. In a restaurant where I pay for my food, I don't want to spend money on the toilet. In my opinion it shouldn't even be an option!

**Disappointing experience** The freshly squeezed orange juice I ordered was heavily watered down. It seemed like only 20-30% was actually orange juice, the rest was water. This is absolutely unacceptable for a drink that is advertised as freshly pressed. The cakes were also a disappointment. The pistachio cake was dry and tasted old, as if it had been made for several days. The only bright spot was the chocolate cake, which was fresh and edible. Overall, the quality of the food and drinks was far below my expectations.

Yesterday, around 19:00, my wife and I went to the place, sat down, ordered two lemonades, and they served two glasses in front of us, which were disgusting in terms of visual and taste. It came with lemon squeezed into the glass and ice on top. I didn't like it, I asked for Fanta, so it wouldn't be something made by their hands, and the Fanta that came waited too long and was served without fizzy taste. I told the waiter with glasses and he came and checked the drink by drinking it from the glass he served me at the table. Unfortunately, the place I always go to yesterday shocked me. 🤷🏻‍♂️

TOURIST TRAP: I went to this restaurant in Frankfurt and had a particularly disappointing experience. Our waiter, who was Portuguese, took our order: just two drinks and one plate of chicken wings. While the drinks arrived promptly, we waited 40 minutes for the food, which still hadn't come. I called the waiter over again to inquire about our food. He went to the kitchen and came back to ask what we had ordered, indicating that he had likely forgotten to place the order. He assured us the food would be ready in 5 minutes, but we ended up waiting for an additional 15 minutes. By the time the chicken wings finally arrived, we had already finished our drinks. We asked for some water as a courtesy for the delay, but he refused. When we finished eating, we asked for the bill. The waiter brought the card machine and became quite aggressive when he asked if I was going to leave a tip. I explained that we don’t leave tips for poor service and that tipping is not obligatory in Germany. This made him even more agitated. When I attempted to pay, he violently jerked the card machine away, causing the transaction to fail, so I had to swipe my card again. This made me concerned that he might try to charge me twice, so I checked to ensure the first transaction didn’t go through. The waiter then insulted me, calling me stingy and saying I was lucky to be in Germany and not in Portugal. He implied that in Portugal, he would physically confront customers who don’t leave tips. He also mentioned that next time he would serve me in German instead of "Spanish," as if speaking Spanish (which he barely spoke) was a reason for me to tip him, despite the poor service. AND OF COURSE, I DIDN'T PAY THE TIP. Additionally, the six tiny chicken wings, which were minuscule, cost 13 euros, which is outrageous for the portion size. Overall, this was an extremely unpleasant dining experience due to both the poor service and the overpriced food. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I ordered an iced coffee with caramel syrup and received my iced coffee without syrup. After I told Keller this, he passed it on to me. After I took a sip of it, I sent it back because it tasted terrible and wasn't cold. I wasn't offered an alternative but was brushed off with the words "what should I do now?" It was cashed in anyway. I call service something different. Never again!

The employees are very rude, they asked me to pay the bill while I was eating my meal. The burger was a little dry but not too bad. I don't recommend it unless you want to be mistreated.

Heat 🍰 is actually not healthy. According to the waiter, they noticed that the refrigerator wasn't working properly but they sold the kitchen anyway.

Food was ok, drinks weren't good, after bringing the bill the waiter pointed out that I should give a tip, so far this has never happened to me in a restaurant because I personally thought the service and the rest was good I left a tip, but I've never been asked to do so, so poor service in the end.

Owner called the cops on me several times when I did a demonstration on the square in front of and away from the restaurant, even though it’s entirely legal to do according to the German constitutional rights.

Unfortunately the service was really bad. After we ordered and received drinks, we announced that we wanted to look for something to eat. We tried to order something for 45 minutes and therefore spoke to three service people directly, but were turned away because they apparently weren't responsible for our area. We were very annoyed and wouldn't go back.

Will not visit again. Waitress imposed on us to pay a 10% tips over the bill. Although we explained that tips are not obligatory in any restaurant, she said that if we do not pay this, she will have to take it out of her pocket. So we paid the €6.00 tips . Bar with quite pretty, quite cozy decoration. The servers are super friendly and run around to satisfy you. We had a meat platter for two. It was more than enough. The veal was excellent. I would have preferred a little more vegetables. Quite noisy place.

Das war vor Corona super, echte Köche, echter Bar service. War Stammgast. Wurde verkauft. Jetzt: Die können niichtmal einen Aperol Spritz oder G&T. Bei Bitte um Nachbesserung unglaublich unfreundlich, arrogant, der Betriebsleiter war der Schlimmste, ein unverschämter, schlecht angezogen er Amateur, ohne Ahnung vom Hospitality Business. Das Personal alles junge Männer ohne entsprechende Ausbildung. Die Speisekarte minimales überteuertes fast food. Schmutzig. Gäste mit niedrigem Niveau und Promarktüten. Burger bei McD besser, hier reine Abzocke. Fleisch abfallartiges Fett. Wer da hingeht muss eine Geschmacksstörung haben, billigste, minimale Zutaten. Nie wieder. Das Publikum entsprach dem Niveau des Personals. Nur für Geschmacksmasochisten mit Geld zum wegwerfen. Das Führen des Namens des ehem. Etablissements müsste verboten werden.

We arrived late into the city from our flight and this seemed to be the only place open that we could find. Good location in the middle of the shopping street, however that’s where the good things end. The tables are really close together, not much room to move or get up. The food was average and tasted like microwaved food that they bought from Lidl, the hot chocolate was nice though. Staff are lovely and helpful, service was relatively quick for drinks but food was quite slow for what we got.

wir haben einen kleinen Stopp gemacht während des schoppens, um 16 Uhr. der Laden war gut besucht trotz dessen haben wir unsere Getränke schnell bestellt und bekommen. wir kommen wieder um mehr zu probieren außer Café. Bedienung war nett.

Das Essen ist nicht so besonders. Das sogenannte Wiener Schnitzel war leicht verkohlt und kam nur mit einem Zitronenviertel, die angekündigten Rosmarinkartoffeln zum Lachs waren schnöde Bratkartoffeln. Und dann brachte die Bedienung ein Gericht zu viel an den Tisch. Das bis zwei Zählen üben wir dann noch einmal.

Lage: mitten drin statt nur dabei. Kellner waren stets bemüht, als es dann zur Bezahlung ging musste man dann doch etwas länger warten. Wir hatten 2 Getränke, hausgemachte Limo. Waren beide sehr lecker.

Ich war letzte Woche da,wollte nach dem Einkauf kurz einen Cappuccino trinken,was aber nicht möglich war,da ich da 15Minuten nur geßesen habe und nicht mal bedient wurde...das geht nicht!

Aperol Spritz für 9,50 €.... Dann sollte er wenigstens auch schmecken. Dem war leider nicht so.

Es gibt bessere Läden Service und Preise passen nicht zusammen

Durchschnittliches Café/Restaurant mitten auf der Zeil. Die Preise für einzelne Gerichte sind bezogen auf die Menge etwas überzogen (vgl. Pommes und Mozzarella Sticks zum nahezu gleichen Preis). Der Eiskaffee ist deutlich zu stark gesüßt.

Wir waren Sonntag zwischen 17 und 18 Uhr im Weidenhof. Es war relativ leer. Der Service war gut. Die Kellner waren sehr bemüht mit uns Englisch zu reden, da zweidrittel unserer Gruppe englischsprachig war. Die Getränke und das Essen kamen schnell und waren geschmacklich gut. Das Restaurant hat auch eine eigene Toilette im Keller.

Waffeln mit Vanillesoße und Kirschen war 10/10. Sehr nostalgisch die zu essen 👌

Super schnelle Bedingung. Als Tester,Teste ich ja einiges nach denn ich eine Minute gewartet habe kam der Kellner obwohl es voll war! Respekt schon mal bei Bestellung des trinken Misste ich nur 2 Minuten warten und das Getränk kam an. Beim Essen verging 15 Minuten wie es oft in der Gastro ist und war super Frisch keine TK wäre das wegen bekommt es alle Sterne und ein platzt in meiner Lieste der gute Gastro. Ich vergaß beim Getränk würde auch gefragt ob gross oder Klein das ich extra nicht sagte und nur das Getränk bestellte! So soll es sein.

15 minuten gewacht voordat we geholpen werden, bestek was niet schoon en de glazen zien eruit alsof ze al 10 jaar meegaan. Het eten was oke.

We stopped at this venue while we were in the center of Frankfurt strolling among the shops. We ordered 2 cocktails and stopped to eat, what to say we were happy. The food came out quickly and the plate was very large. We ordered the mix of fries made by them and they are really very good, you can taste it. The staff was nice and courteous to us and we were fine. The restaurant is located in a very nice and comfortable position, inside it is very nice. Definitely to go back and try something else too!

Chef sehr unfreundlich und kein Verständnis für Gäste die eine andere Religion haben!! Essen genau so kalt wie die Teller. Schnitzel behindert gekloppt war wirklich tot und durch. Rahmsauce bestellt man bekommt Jägersauce. Barkeeper sehr attraktiv echt ein hübscher! Grüße an seine Eltern.

Noch nie in meinem Leben so schlechte und überteuerten Burger gegessen. Der Kellner war sehr nett, er fragte ob wir zu unserem Burger für schon saftige 15€ noch Bacon und Käse möchten, hätten wir gewusst, dass man für eine Scheibe Schmelzkäse und eine Scheibe Bacon 5,50€ extra aufruft hätten wir es gelassen. Es war auch nicht wie in der Karte beschrieben Zwiebeln und ein Relish drauf . Einfach Unverschämt. War für mich das letzte mal .
