Wang's Kitchen in Darmstadt

I was in Darmstadt for work and stopped there for dinner. The welcome was very friendly, the service always had a smile on its face and was super nice. The food came to the table surprisingly quickly, was a really large portion and incredibly tasty. Can only recommend the restaurant!!!!!

I live right next to the restaurant, so I'm a regular guest here! Not only are the owners incredibly nice and accommodating to everyone - we have now actually tried the entire menu and extensively tested the all-you-can-eat :-) Everything is sooooo incredibly delicious! I can only recommend everyone to visit here!

A very pleasant place to eat. We ordered all you can eat and it was good. You should take into account that it is buffet quality, so quantity over quality, but you still leave the store tasty and happily full. Miso soup was great. They are very generous when it comes to ingredients and the dessert portions are also very good, but if you are already full, you shouldn't underestimate the portion😂. The service is very sweet. Can recommend it to everyone.

Apparently not perfect from the outside or the prettiest restaurant. But you shouldn't let that fool you. Very tasty food with top service.

We went for the all you can eat and it was fine for what it was. What was noticeable to us was that the last 20 minutes it took a long time for the food to arrive. But it could have just been a lot of activity... I don't know. It was ok, I don't necessarily want to go there again.

Somewhat remote in Telekomcity on the outskirts of Darmstadt, this small restaurant is a real recommendation for sushi fans!! The food is super tasty, the service is very good!! All the employees are so sweet, kind and attentive. Table reservation important.

Unfortunately no longer up to date: very good Asian cuisine, very friendly staff, very reasonable prices ensure an all-round enjoyable experience. I actually stayed at the Premiere Inn Hotel for one night today because I was hungry and the restaurant was right around the corner so I went to get something there. I was surprised at how crowded the store was and how cozy it looked inside. The staff was super friendly and ordering to go was really quick. I can definitely recommend the sushi and the duck with garlic sauce and vegetables. I ate by far the best sushi tonight. Unfortunately, I live in Mannheim, but I will still prefer to come here in the future to eat my sushi :) the food and the staff get a 10/10 from me. And by the way, your homemade iced tea tastes absolutely delicious 😌 Kind regards

Because of the good rating and the proximity to the hotel, I became aware of Wang's Kitchen. The ambience is pleasantly different than in a “classic Chinese restaurant”. And the sushi was really excellent - for an absolutely fair price that you definitely can't complain about! The staff is, as has been described so often here, actually super friendly, attentive and quick... Great, thoroughly recommended!

The owners are two very nice sisters. We have known each other for many years and all regular guests are always warmly welcomed here. The Asian food is very tasty and can be ordered to the table using a tablet PC. Vegans/vegetarians will also find enough dishes on the menu here. Top restaurant 👍🏻

We became aware of Wang's Kitchen because of the good reviews. The first impression from the outside was more reminiscent of a snack bar. Everything in the restaurant is rather simple and inconspicuous. We were immediately welcomed by the friendly staff, given our table and the tray for All You Can Eat was explained to us. Everyone at the table can order up to ten dishes at a time based on their number and can do so as often as they like over a period of two hours. The first thing I got was Goma Wakame and Kimchi from my first retrieval. What can I say, I would go there again just for the homemade kimchi. Everything we ordered was delicious. Great sushi, soups, salads and small warm dishes. We definitely have to go back there soon to try the other dishes that we simply couldn't manage due to the quantity. It's great to eat lots of small dishes and different sushi, although we certainly ate a little too much.

Wang's Kitchen is always worth a visit. Above all, the service staff is great. They are really warm and always put a smile on your face. The food is also very tasty and is served very quickly. We'll be back!

We came here on a recommendation and were very impressed by the quality and selection. We cook Asian food ourselves and eat out more often, so I would describe us as demanding. We decided on "all you can eat" in order to get to know as much of the menu as possible and what can I say; For an "all you can eat" there was a very large selection and everything was fresh and tasty! In addition to various variants of sushi, the "all you can eat" menu includes soups, salads, fried foods, various small warm dishes, various meat snacks and desserts. I was particularly impressed by the lamb chops (on point and tender), the pickled beef pieces (very tender and tasty), the Thai Tom Yam Gai soup (spicy but very tasty), the yakitori skewers and that there were no exceptions with the sushi ( Unagi was there as well as Ika and Maguro). There are no limits to either the food or the quantities, which I find very generous considering the quality and selection! The service was extremely friendly, we immediately felt very comfortable! The ambience alone was a bit simple and cool, but with the enthusiasm for the food you quickly no longer notice it. The drinks prices are absolutely reasonable and € 27.90 for “alyou can eat” with this selection and quality too! Finally a very positive surprise in Darmstadt's restaurant offerings and an ABSOLUTE RECOMMENDATION!

As always, we had a very tasty "Allyoucaneat" evening. Food was very good and hot. The staff is nice, courteous and quick. As a farewell, there was a shawl for our ninety-year-old grandmother and a bottle of wine for the host. We'd love to come back. Update. Not only did we have a good meal here today, as always, but we also celebrated our birthday. Not only did the birthday child receive a warm hug, but also a beautifully decorated dessert plate. Lights off, spotlight on, a serenade and applause from all the guests. There were also small gifts on top. Very warm and nothing to be taken for granted. ❤❤👍

Wangs Kitchen, which was once based in Heimstädten Soedlung in Darmstadt, has found its new home here. Familiar and confident in taste, the “order with your tablet” concept is still successful here. The food is extremely tasty and stands out from all the irrelevant sushi shops. Only the parking situation around the restaurant is catastrophic. I have never experienced such great service. The all y can is absolutely recommended. I didn't arrive until 9:30 p.m. when the waitress helped me choose what to eat. Although only 5 dishes can be ordered at the buffet and can only be ordered again after eating, [small dishes to avoid waste] The waitress ordered me 12 sushi varieties and a soup. It was all very tasty. The service was courteous and asked me to eat enough and not to forget dessert. I have never eaten so well or so much in 1 hour and 30 minutes. Always my pleasure.

We were a bit unsettled at the beginning by the many positive comments, but we still gave it a go and weren't disappointed. I know all you can eat sushi restaurants with tablets where only the wrong orders arrived all the time & that wasn't the case here, everything arrived complete and correct and then very quickly. The service was great and the food was really tasty too.

I chose the "all you can eat" option. Here you gradually select the dishes using a tablet and order them using it as well. You can also order drinks via tablet. The order, service and food deserve 5 stars. The restaurant was quite busy at lunchtime. I'd love to come back!

We found out about WANGS-KITCHEN through the DA-ECHO and from friends. It's a shame that we didn't know this restaurant much earlier. Service was very friendly and attentive, the food (we had ALL YOU CAN EAT) was absolutely fresh, delicious and tasty. Price-performance ratio 1 A. The only thing that makes it feel like a canteen is the ambience. But that is in no way meant to be derogatory. Because it is very clean and tidy and going to the toilet doesn't become a nightmare. Thank you for your first time at WANGS-KITCHEN. We'll be back :-)

I was here for a business lunch and after seeing all the excellent reviews I immediately thought of giving it a try. Well, what can you say, excellent food at excellent prices, especially at lunchtime, and very friendly and courteous service. Every table was occupied and I think everyone was happy. The ambience is a bit reminiscent of trucker snack bars, but that makes the location somehow special. 100% recommended!

The reviews convinced us to take a look. Unfortunately, with all you can eat, the sushi always came out very different from the other stuff. Often you didn't know what you were actually waiting for. The quality of the food was completely ok. The menu navigation is a bit difficult with 3 people.

Despite the late hour, I was served very courteously and it was very, very good sushi.

A quick trip to work in my old homeland and just googled Asian food. This leads me to Wang’s Kitchen. I haven't had such good vegetarian sushi in a long time. The main course was followed by duck with Thai curry, which I requested was very spicy. In short: the duck is crispy and juicy right down to the last piece. The sauce was wonderfully spicy at my express request. Thank you very much, I'll be back. 😊

The waitresses were very friendly and in a good mood, everyone was greeted happily. The food was delicious, the portions were large, we had to have the rest packed up. The restaurant looks very small from the outside, but is much larger inside and is beautifully decorated. We recommend!

The food was very tasty. Location is a matter of taste and is comfortably close to the hotel and settlement. Quiet area, which I really like. The staff is top, 5 stars are not enough. Very friendly and accommodating. Brought us a free drink to bridge the waiting time although we didn't have to wait long, estimated 10 minutes. The peach iced tea is highly recommended, I didn't ask, but I assume it's homemade, I've never had a better one. The next time I'm in Darmstadt I'll know exactly where to go for a good meal. 👍

The place offer all you can eat until 15:00, I walk my way and arrived at 14:10. They insist that it impossible to order all you can eat but since the kitchen cannot make a lot of food in such a short notice, but you can order whatever you want from the menu (in very expensive rates), for me it's very greedy aaproache that the kitchen can serve you only if you pay more close to the closing time, as well you advertise all you can eat until 15:00.

I really enjoy going here for all-you-can-eat. The selection of sushi is great and most of it tastes delicious. At lunchtime the all-you-can-eat is pretty cheap at €17.90, and with drinks you get a very good price. I think you always have enough time to eat a lot. You can order the dishes very easily via tablets and they are delivered fairly quickly. Sometimes it's just a bit confusing, but that doesn't matter because you can order 10 dishes per round. For large groups, I recommend reserving a table in advance. Finding parking spaces is sometimes a bit difficult.

Four of us were there spontaneously. Everyone there is very friendly and there is a feel-good atmosphere. The women's toilet is a 10 out of 10. Will save going there again.

Great place for Thai food in the area. At the table, two people ordered the fried duck and noodles, one person ordered chicken and fried noodles, and I enjoyed a salmon platter with sashimi and sushi. Everything was great! Service was helpful. Note, if you go too late, they will not do the all you can eat. Inside is quaint and comfortable.

We came across the restaurant by chance because we actually wanted to go to the Vietnamese restaurant around the corner, but it was closed. The food was extremely tasty and cheap. The staff were very friendly. You dealt with customers very often. The atmosphere was pleasant. Tuna sushi, fried shrimp and fried bananas were especially great. A place I will always come to.

Ordered the takeaway fried noodles vegetarian style for just 10€, food was good value. Got a glass of coke while waiting (approx. 10 min) and a fortune cookie for free. the service is very courteous, despite me showing up 45 mins before closing time. Definitly recommended.

Today was our first time at Wang's Kitchen and definitely not the last time. Very warm welcome. The location is nicely arranged, very clean and very inviting. The food was excellent, fresh and brought to the table without a long wait. Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures because we were so hungry. We'd love to come back and catch up on it. Everyone was very friendly and we felt very comfortable. Thank you very much and we will happily recommend Wang's Kitchen. Update 9/2/23: Today we were here for the second time. We have never seen such a warm welcome anywhere. Eating was a dream again. This time we took pictures. The dessert, baked ice cream, is to die for. Super nice service! It was my first time here and I ordered sushi to take away. I was immediately offered a seat and a glass of Coke on the house. I also got a lot of extra sushi. Really great. And the sushi was great :) I can only recommend. Until next time ☺️

2024/03 Dinner alone That had been great. Been the friendliest place in a long time. Such friendly service staff. I had Crispy Duck Garlic and that was great. I ordered rice again. That's how delicious it was. Thank you very much and when I'm back in Darmstadt, I'll be happy to do it again.

From the outside, a very small, simple restaurant where you don't expect what is offered to you. You are greeted by an extremely nice woman and given the choice between buffet or menu. The buffet option was a great decision. Great food and, above all, drink. Very lovely staff. 10/10.

It's a small but very lovely place. It is "all you cat eat place" in Darmstadt using tablets, or if you don't want the buffet, you can have a normal Menü and oder normal Main dish or sushi. Very busy place, so maybe make a reservation beforehand is better.
