I went there twice. The first time was okay. There weren't many people there, so the food came quickly, but did it taste good? Well, it was okay... I've tasted better. The second time was really bad. We ordered three dishes. The first came after ten minutes. The second came 30 minutes later, and the third came 45 minutes after that. The food somehow comes every 30 to 45 minutes, like the German train. It's ridiculous. We also asked for our third dishes. If we hadn't asked, we'd probably still be waiting for our food. People who ordered after us got their food before us. Never again!

Every time I come, I order the dry pot cumin lamb chops, but I've also ordered spicy chicken, duck blood and pork intestines, cross-legged beef, red oil pig ears, boiled fish, spare ribs, and so on. I've never had any disappointments, and they're all delicious. I also really like the recommended passion fruit soda for drinks. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic, authentic Sichuan restaurant with lots of new dishes, including some you won't find elsewhere. Recommended specialties include pickled pepper pork, cold rabbit, and double pepper rabbit! The garlic ribs and stir-fried pork are must-try dishes that go well with rice! I've been here two or three days in a row and I'm very satisfied 😀

Sichuan cuisine is heavy on the spicy oil. Coming from Jiangsu and Zhejiang, I had a Diarrhö the next day. I ordered plum juice, but instead of giving it to me, it was placed on the opposite table while she hurried off to do something else. Even if she could have brought it to me, the food was expensive, and the service wasn't the best. The atmosphere wasn't great; it was noisy and not very comfortable.

If you eat there, order everything except number 15. I ordered "ribs" and got deep-fried bones with fried onions. A pair of "ribs," but they were 90% bone-in with leftover meat. The whole plate was full of fried onions. Otherwise, Asian food is good, but whoever invented this diabolical and inferior dish needs to stop cooking. 2/10 because the breading was okay.

Li's Kitchen is new to Darmstadt and offers very authentic Chinese food that's so rare to find. We had warm lamb with coriander and cumin, sliced ​​beef with chili oil, and potato jelly strips with cucumber – all very aromatic, spicy, and authentic in the style of Sichuan or Northwest China. For dessert, we had bingfen, a refreshing iced jelly with fruit and brown sugar. In addition to the menu, there are also monthly specials that sound very interesting and are still being tested. Very good Taiwanese/Chinese... very tasty food with huge portions. Good value for money. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is a bit sterile, but the owners and staff are super friendly, with a mandatory homework table for the kids. We'll be back.

Easily the best Chinese food that I have had so far in Germany. Do try the steamed fish and dim sum which is hand made at the restaurant. Street parking is scarce so do plan ahead. There is an Asian supermarket within walking distance so you can go shopping for your favourite spices after a good meal.

If it looks crispy and delicious, is because it is crispy and delicious! I absolutely love their food, can only recommend this place. Service is also great.

There's no need to say anything about the interior, everything is kept very unobtrusive. Because there are definitely other things in the foreground here. There are many dishes to choose from here, from traditional to more simple Asian cuisine. Big praise, there is a vegan menu. The cucumber salad is great and a must when ordering. The dumplings as a starter are okay, nothing special, but the udon noodles are really strong. The service is very friendly and accommodating! Definitely a recommendation for me

I've been there multiple times, and I usually pay with my EC card. The same lady was there, and when I told her I wanted to pay with my EC card, she insisted on seeing my card! I explained that foreigners also have EC cards, and not all will use credit cards. To avoid confrontation then put a note next to the cash machine. Easy isn't it?! Also, nobody can understood the receipt because it's written 998 or 999.

Relatively new restaurant on Adelungstr in Darmstadt with tasty Cantonese cuisine. Very friendly service, very good price/performance ratio. If you don't get enough here, it's your own fault. We had duck with rice and chicken with vegetables and rice, along with wanton soup and green tea. Highly recommended.

We’ve been to Manjing Haus probably 6 times in 2 years. The place is simple and homey. The food is consistently excellent. Definitely our favorite Chinese restaurant in Darmstadt. There are two menus: one is a trifold with typical Westernized dishes, and the other is a bigger booklet with more exotic and authentic Szechuan choices. I recommend the latter. Our favorites are the fried dumplings (which only seem to be listed in Chinese on the latter menu - we didn’t even realize they were there until the 3rd time we came and I used google translate on the Chinese text) and the Chicken Wings w/ Garlic & Chili (very spicy).

I was a spontaneous guest and used Maps to look for a Chinese restaurant. At first I thought my choice was a bad one due to the rather simply furnished interior, until the really friendly service significantly improved this first impression. The food took a little longer but was worth the wait!! I had rarely eaten such a delicious fried duck before and the fried noodles with vegetables rounded the whole thing off perfectly. The prices are very fair for the really generous portions. The reviews here on Maps are good, but not that numerous. That's why I would like to draw attention to the really good quality of the food. I would love to come back and can only recommend the restaurant.

Food tastes really great, but the peanut sauce is strange, as if peanut butter was mixed with sweet and sour sauce. If that were changed and tasted like a classic peanut sauce, it would be great. The only service employee is probably the boss, who is also very nice, but the service employee is standing around on her cell phone and staring into space.

Restaurant with authentic Chinese food. Traditional cuisine. Highly recommended if you want real flavors. It is a very small and austere family establishment, but its treasure is its dishes.

After watching a movie in a nearby cinema with my daughters we were hungry and wanted to eat something nice. One of my daughters said that this restaurant has a high rating in Google maps, so we opted for this rather shabby restaurant. As usual I ordered crispy duck with vegetables while one of my daughters ordered a soup and the other dumplings. Before entering the restaurant I asked the non-Chinese waitress whether we could pay with card as I didn't have enough cash with me and the answer was "of course". What followed was one of the worst culinary experiences I have ever had. My crispy duck was not crispy at all, and the rice and the meat was in a large plate having some kind of soup with a lot of water and little vegetables. The taste of the food was for me 3 out of 10. My daughter who ordered the soup said the soup was average while my other daughter didn't touch the dumplings after having a single bite. As I wanted to pay with the card, a Chinese lady, who was seemingly the owner, said that they could not accept the card payment since their POS machine was not working, forcing me to find an ATM outside when it was chilling cold.

Wir haben das Restaurant durch die vielen positiven Rezensionen entdeckt. Das Manjing Haus wird von einer super netten und sympathischen Familie geführt. Die Auswahl an Essen ist sehr vielfältig und die Preise sind für die heutige Zeit ganz ok. Hier werden zu den Standardgericht auch zusätzliche verschiedene asiatische Spezialitäten angeboten, welche in einem seperaten Speisekarte angeboten wird. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hier wirklich super. Werden hier sehr bald wiederkommen.

Klein einfaches Restaurant aber leckeres Essen und sehr nette Bedienung. Definitiv empfehlenswert!

Es war das erste Mal, dass ich im Restaurant gegessen habe, normalerweise nehme ich das Essen nur mit aber ich bin so zufrieden mit dem Essen dort. Das Personal bzw. Die Familie die das Restaurant führt ist so nett. Das Essen kommt sehr schnell und schmeckt bombastisch lecker. Ich werde öfters vor Ort essen, denn es ist sehr friedlich aus dem Fenster zu schauen und einfach in Darmstadt rein. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem weiterempfehlen
