The food tastes great and the service is on the ball and friendly. Beer isn't really my thing. It doesn't taste bad but I prefer something different.

Very nice beer garden with a view of the Regental. Sulz with fried potatoes can be recommended. Sheep, pigs, domestic cat to pet. Large children's playground with lots of play equipment.

Beautifully located beer garden. Great for hiking. There are enough free parking spaces. The beer garden is designed to be handicapped accessible. The service was good, and special requests were also gladly fulfilled. The food is not bad but nothing special either, just a beer garden. Definitely worth a visit

The view of the Regental is simply beautiful and there was even a waitress there today! The celery schnitzel was great, as was the plate of brawn with real homemade fried potatoes.

What does the Chinese say? Formidable! A pilgrimage on my 1200 m from Franconia to the Austrian Mühlviertel allowed me to take a break at this unique watering hole. Initially quiet, the flow of visitors swelled around midday. Fast service with a friendly face, beer chilled and the Tyrolean Gröstl is a hit. If you like it cheap, you should go to the neighboring Czech Republic, here at Heilbrünnl it is a little more expensive, but ok. The lunchtime bells of the pilgrimage church were included free of charge. And if you want to indulge a little, the church is open. Into the cruisers!

Very nice beer garden, the food there is not cheap. And our salad was lush, but it was huge leaves of raw vegetable salad. Chicken strips were good. I think 15 € is too much for that.

You go there and realize there are better things in Roding. It was O.K. but nothing more. School grade 3 plus.

It's such a shame that not everything is brought out here. Plastic flowers on the window!! The house without love and taste...but €25 for zander and hardly anything on the plate...the operators are hopelessly overwhelmed. Such a beautiful area...

Really bad unfortunately. Unfriendly, being spoken to in a really unfriendly manner around 10 a.m. while under the influence of alcohol. The people there also seem to be dog haters. Not recommended. Once and never again.

We ordered normal schnitzels at a high price and got children's portions. A child could be fed, but an adult could not.

The food here is very tasty and the waitresses are very friendly! Addendum on August 4th, 2024: The playground in the beer garden is highly recommended for parents with small children!

We were very disappointed last time. My wife had onion roast, which tasted very good but a mini portion. I had a pork Wienerschnitzel but it wasn't worth the money

The location of the restaurant is unique, the chapel is wonderful, in which concerts sometimes take place; the surroundings are wonderful with lots of forest and cycling opportunities. When it comes to food, the price/performance ratio is definitely NOT right, which is a shame.

We're here for dinner, which is always good. I can't say anything about the hotel. Service is friendly, great outside with kids. There's no one can do anything about the fact that it's always drafty outside

Very nice beer garden. Had sauerbraten for dinner. Was delicious, especially homemade spaetzle. Conditions were very friendly. There is also the possibility to charge your bikes there. Will definitely come back.

I've heard several times that people end up being treated unkindly at weddings because they don't get enough "just" from drinks. You are scared away “nicely”. We were already there for dinner. There were only 2 controls for full operation. Of course that had a rather unfriendly effect. But the view made it better. Now I was able to gain my own experience in the area of ​​“family celebrations. I have reserved a table to celebrate communion. Not only do you have to pay for the plates for the cake per person, but if you cancel more than a month in advance, in my opinion, you will also be called stupid! The message from the inn! “We will accept their cancellation. I would just like to let you know that we don't think it's right to cancel at such short notice, as many others would have loved to spend their communion with us. Many children wanted to spend their communion in our restaurant with its playground, animals and plenty of nature. Now we have had to cancel these children because we have reserved the places for them. We feel very sorry for the children that there are many people who don’t think about their simple actions.” I'm simple!!!

The photos from the outside are inviting and give the impression of a “griaby” atmosphere. But a small dog with a live weight of 2.2 kg is not allowed to stay overnight. Therefore: No thanks! And: what a shame! Because animals enrich life, which is already poor enough in so many areas!

Very nice, rustic restaurant with super friendly owners. The food was very good, the room was clean and had a wonderful view of the Regental. We'll definitely come back for hiking and cycling in the summer.

When we asked about milk and wheat intolerance (my little daughter), we received a very unfriendly and dismissive answer. Whereas in other restaurants this special feature was responded to with a lot of understanding and accommodation. Absolutely not recommended for allergy sufferers or people with intolerances.

Location top. Auch super, dass hier die Öffnungszeiten passen. Aber preislich passt imho das Essen ganz und gar nicht. Den gemischten Braten f. 13.50 .... da bräuchte es einen halben mehr, dass ein normaler Oberpfälzer satt wird.

Schöner Biergarten mit gutem Essen und nettem Personal.

Kann die ganzen 5 Sterne Bewertungen gar nicht so recht nachvollziehen. Waren zum Brotzeit machen mit ein paar Leuten dort. Currywurst mit Pommes für 9 Euro ist zwar nicht billig aber heutzutage leider schon fast normal. Wenn die Portionen aber dann aussehen wie Kinderteller und man nicht mal satt wird, muss man sich schon überlegen ob man nächstes mal nicht lieber woanders hin geht. Flammkuchen für 13 Euro ebenfalls sehr spärlich. Zumindest waren die Gerichte geschmacklich ok. Getränkekarte bekommt man hier übrigens auch nicht. Waren alle ein bißchen enttäuscht und vor allem hungrig als wir die Gaststätte verließen.

Biergarten in toller Lage, freundlicher und schneller Service. Die Flammkuchen waren Klasse.

Gutes Essen, moderate Preise, sehr freundliches Personal und die vermutlich beste Biergartenaussicht der ganzen Region. Dazu eine kleine Eiskarte und wechselnde Tagesgerichte. Für Kinder gibt es einen kleinen Spielplatz mit Bobbycars und anderem Spielzeug direkt am Biergarten. Die Wallfahrtskirche ist einen Besuch wert, auch als nicht Gläubiger Mensch. Definitiv eine Empfehlung!

Sehr schöner Ort zur Einkehr, köstlich, freundlich, preislich moderat, gute Parkmöglichkeiten und angenehm schattig, was will man mehr!

Wir waren mit dem Rad auf dem Regentalradweg unterwegs, dabei kommt man direkt dran vorbei. Herrlicher Biergarten mit super Ausblick auf den Regen. Wir haben nur etwas getrunken, aber die Speisen die serviert wurden, sahen hervorragend aus👍. Sehr freundlicher Service. Die Wallfahrtskirche gleich nebenan ist sehenswert. Wir werden diesen Ort auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen.

Schöne Kirche und sehr schöne Aussicht von der Gaststätte. Gut bürgerliche Küche, gute Portionen, hier wird jeder satt und der Preis stimmt auch. Ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden.

Zufällig über die Google Suche nach einem Biergarten hier gelandet. Die Kirche angeschaut und dann die schöne Aussicht, die freundliche Bedienung und das gute Essen (Waffeln) genossen. Definitiv einen Besuch wert.
