Nice beer garden and really nice ambience, unfortunately the food wasn't that good. The bratwurst and pressack were totally over salted and the sauerkraut wasn't good either. The cake with 3 pieces of rhubarb, well what can I say? It was definitely my first and last visit here.

Went to the Schwarzachklamm today. We were completely lost, but a very nice local resident helped us find the right access to the gorge. Thanks again 😊. Then we parked at the Waldgasthof and ate there on the way back. Great atmosphere, great food, extremely nice staff and great prices. Thank you for the lovely afternoon 😘

Just great. Were there with a few friends. Great food. Good mood. Cyclists like to take a break here. Dogs are also welcome, which I think is great. Nobody argues, nobody shouts, everything is peaceful and clean. I would definitely like to come back. I have the feeling...the further away from Nuremberg...the more beautiful, better and quieter it is.

A beautiful beer garden that invites you to linger under chestnuts and other trees. The majority of the pitches are in the shade. Large food and drink menu. Daily specials clearly visible on boards. I had salt knuckles with bread and my wife had “Strammen Max”. Both dishes were good and prepared quickly. Self-service applies to food and drinks. Clearing up, wiping the table and emptying the ashtray were all done very quickly by the service. Conclusion: very nice beer garden. We'd love to come back

But the delivery point is friendly and the food is good. Everyone has to form their own opinion about Rothenburger Landwehrbräu.

Today we hiked to the Waldschänke through the Schwarzachklamm. Very nice beer garden with delicious food and well-chilled drinks. Self-service, drinks are available on one side, food on the opposite side. The waiting time was very short and we were able to pick up our food within 10 minutes. Schnitzel with potato salad, delicious and plentiful.

The food has deteriorated by 50% over the last year. Cabbage wrap filling much too hard, dumplings from the day before. Cake very small for the price. Are very disappointed.

The Waldschänke on the Brückkanal is a great beer garden, especially for hikers and cyclists traveling near the Schwarzachklamm. The food is delicious, the beer is excellent, and the sanitary facilities are clean. Even when the weather is good and there are lots of visitors, you can always find a place. The food and drinks are prepared quickly despite self-service. Highly Recommended!

Nicely located cellar. The choice of food is plentiful. There are a lot of cold and warm dishes. The portions are big enough and the price is good. There are four different types of shandy, which I had never seen before. Behind the property there is a very interesting hiking trail, similar to a gorge but in miniature. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes, first the journey then the food, highly recommended. Overall, a clear recommendation.

You pay immediately when it is served and then take the drinks or food with you to the table. The dishes are cleared by the staff who always run around the beer garden and really do a good job. This beer garden is really recommended because it is beautifully located on the Schwarzachtal or the Bruck Canal and is easy to reach. After a long hike or bike ride, stopping there is just the right way to end. A clear recommendation, as the food is also rich and good. A large selection is also offered, both in terms of food and drinks, so there should be something for everyone.

There is no better place in the area to drink beer, relax and unwind. For drivers of heavy trucks it is generally a paradise for relaxation. Not far from parking lots.

A small Schäuferle without a side salad and self-service for 16.10 euros... That's where the fun ends for me. Instead I had goulash with noodles, noodles were a bit overcooked and cold, goulash was very curry-heavy...

Had the Schäuferle and a red spritzer. Altogether about 20€. Unfortunately there is no side salad with it. But the food was still very good, and with self-service everything went very quickly. The location is like a beer garden with covered areas, and afterwards you can go for a nice walk along the canal or in the Schwarzachklamm. It is pure relaxation and really recommended. I like to go there to clear my head.

Visited the Waldschänke again. Despite the crowds, very friendly staff, delicious Franconian food and a relaxed environment. The parking situation is a bit difficult when there is a lot of traffic (weather permitting).

Good location, directly on the Main-Danube Canal, but still spatially bordered by trees. The staff who clear the table are young and quick, and there are separate cash registers for drinks and food where you can queue up to order and pick up your food (self-service). The staff at the checkout is also friendly. My cheese and ham sandwich was ready within 2 minutes in a moderately full beer garden. You pay €3.40 for a 0.5l beer here, as well as €3.40 for a blackcurrant spritzer. The snack cost just €9 with extra bread + cover, and we were both full (2 slices of bread each). Apart from possibly long waiting times on sunny days, I can fully recommend the beer garden here!

Beautifully located beer garden at the end of a first-class hiking trail. Lots of seating, about a third of which is covered. There is a rich menu. Coffee, cake, snacks and warm meals, there is something for everyone. The very clean toilets are impressive. (Great)

In itself a great beer garden. Unfortunately, some of the food is missing. The schnitzels were flat and dry, without any taste. They just don't have any fries, which is pretty weird when passing off the schnitzel. Beer was okay, almost no carbonation. Desserts were delicious.
