We went out to eat with the whole family on a Saturday, and everything went wonderfully. The food was incredibly delicious; I haven't had such a delicious Schäuferle (pork shoulder) in a long time. My granddaughter had dumplings with sauce and was the first to get hers. I thought it was really nice that the little one was first. I highly recommend it. It's better to have something simple but good.

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait a long time outside the door without anyone taking care of us. The reassuring "someone will be right there" was met with nothing. In the end, we sat down at a free table ourselves. After half an hour, someone finally came to take our drinks and food. Another 30 minutes later, we learned that our ordered food was completely out of stock. On top of that, the glasses were dirty – absolutely unacceptable. When we finally had enough and wanted to leave, the waitress even treated us rudely. The bottom line: chaotic service, poor hygiene, and disrespectful treatment of guests. Anyone looking for a pleasant evening should avoid this restaurant.

We went to the Gasthaus Dorstewitz today with a reservation. Our reservation was for 1 p.m. outside. We stood in front of the door for about 15 minutes and, when we asked where we could sit, were told, "I'll check right away." Apparently, they never checked. Eventually, we found a table ourselves. Another 30 minutes passed before a server finally came to take our order (mind you, we never received a menu). Another 30 minutes later, we learned that the dishes we had ordered were no longer in stock. We said we were leaving. The server was rather unprofessional and rude here as well. Unfortunately, I can't say whether the food was good, and I won't be coming back.

My parents drove half an hour to our place because I discovered this restaurant while walking. The good reviews convinced us, and I reserved an outdoor table for 1 p.m. At 12:50 p.m., we arrived at the door, but no one bothered us. It took half an hour for a waiter to arrive. By then, we had found a table ourselves and happened to find a menu on a windowsill. The drinks were a disappointment: the glasses weren't clean, the Spezi tasted stale, and my friend's beer glass had to be replaced because it was dirty. We ordered shoulder of pork and asked how long it would take. The answer was a maximum of 30 minutes. After 25 minutes, the waiter returned and told us there was only one shoulder of pork left. This was exactly when the food was supposed to arrive. When we asked for a fair solution regarding the drinks, the waiter reacted rudely and overwhelmed. We left and ate elsewhere. Things weren't any better at the neighboring tables: tables weren't cleared, food arrived at different times, and without cutlery. Conclusion: a disappointing visit, not recommended.

We celebrated our son's 1st birthday, and it was beyond perfect. The service, the food... 100% satisfied, and I'm sure we'll celebrate birthdays there again or even attend privately :)♥️

Anyone who loves Franconian cuisine will want to stay here. A Franconian inn as it should be: the food is excellent, the prices are absolutely fair, and the service is first-class. The best shoulder of pork in the area. When the weather's nice, you won't want to leave the beer garden.

A quaint little Franconian restaurant with delicious dishes. We had the schnitzel and cordon bleu, and they couldn't have been better! The service was also excellent. We stumbled upon it by chance and will definitely go back! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful Sunday dinner with our hiking group at the Dorstewitz inn. The food was not only delicious, but also typically Franconian - crispy Schäufele with dumplings and a delicious sauce that rounded off the whole dish perfectly. The atmosphere was very cozy, ideal for relaxing after a hike, and the service was friendly and attentive. We felt really welcome and well looked after. An all-round successful visit that we would be happy to repeat!

If you find yourself passing through this small town, I highly recommend stopping by to try the Schäufele. As an Asian who isn't typically a fan of German food, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The dish isn’t overly salty, and the crust is just perfect. The service was excellent. The owner greeted us with a big smile and was very accommodating. However, be aware that they do not accept card payments, though there is an ATM nearby. The only minor issue was the presence of flies, which is understandable it’s not a fault of the restaurant given the location in a small agricultural village. This likely wouldn't be a problem on a colder day. I will definitely return and bring guests along if I have the chance.

Super delicious food - don't look at the "outside". Everything inside is top notch - despite the boss being out due to illness, the boss served and cooked superbly!

The ambience is not particularly appealing. We waited an hour until the first food arrived. The positive was that the prices are cheap and the food is relatively good.

I looked at the menu once and saw 3 bratwursts with cabbage 11.50. No thanks, a dish like this costs 3 EUR to purchase. This is a rip-off and should not be supported.

A really leftover inn in the country. The cowshed is particularly recommended, a great dining room. The selection of dishes is rather limited, but I find it good and home-style. The only disadvantage that I personally think is a shame is the fact that there are no soups as starters. The prices are normal and the portions are not too small. The Schäufele, for example, was almost too much for me. The cowshed is also very suitable for celebrations. There are enough parking spaces and in summer the small beer garden invites you to stop off after your bike tour.

A nice little restaurant that shines with inner values. From the outside it doesn't look very inviting as it is a very old farm, but once you are inside the inn you will be pleasantly surprised. The range of dishes on offer is manageable and the taste is great. The beers come from a small private brewery and are worth a visit for that reason alone. We are happy to recommend this restaurant with our good names.

Altes Dorfgasthaus, gutbürgerliches Essen, mehrere Hofläden im Dorf.

Wir waren am 03.09.2023 Zum Mittagessen dort. Die Wartezeit auf die Vorspeise der Salat und die Hauptspeise Schaufele mit Klos war etwas lang mit 45 Minuten. Wichtig beim Kochen ist Salz!! Das würzen der Gerichte wurde leider sehr vernachlässigt zb: Die Soße war fade. Und die Salatsoße war zu sauer. Dazu muss man aber sagen das die Preise völlig inordnug Sind zb: Schaufel mit Klos und Salat 11.50€ Mit anderen Restaurants verglichen relativ günstig.

Ich bin zur Kirchweih dort gewesen und habe ein Schäufele mit Klöß gegessen. Das war sehr gut. Das Fleisch zart und perfekt zubereitet. Die Klöße locker und frisch zubereitet. Für mich perfekt, so muss eine Schäufele sein. Das Preis-Leistungsverhätlnis geht nicht besser. Der Sevice schnell und freundlich, auch in dieser Beurteilung gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Das Ambiente ist in Ordnung, halt ein typisches fränkisches Wirtshaus auf dem Lande.

Alles Top. Preislich absolut fair kalkuliert. Geschmacklich einwandfrei. Kurze Wartezeiten. Schnelle Bedienung. Komme öfter mal.

Essen ist immer gut. Die. Portionen werden nur über die Monate immer kleiner und dafür steigen die Preise.

Gestern bei dem Wurstkessel Fest der Feuerwehr war die Wartezeit eine Katastrophe. Sind daraufhin in dieses Gasthaus eingekehrt und haben dort unsere Knöchle gegessen. Super lecker. Ehrlich rustikal und gute Preise

Waren nach der Arbeit dort Schnitzel und Bier war optimal. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Eine der letzten Bastionen der fränkischen Küche. Hervorragende Braten und Schnitzel. Habe selten so gut gegessen. Nur zu empfehlen.

Essen war sehr lecker. Wurden freundlich bedient und das Ambiente sehr urig und die Preise sind in der heutigen Zeit echt super. Kommen definitiv wieder (vorallem nach dem Wandern)

Von Außen betrachtet eher leicht "unscheinbar", aber eine Auswahl an zahlreichen fränkischen "Speisen" verleiten den zufällig einkehrenden Gast zum Bleiben! Die *Bauernplatte* - auf dem Holzteller "stapeln" sich die Kostproben "fränkischer" Köstlichkeiten. - Das "Auge" isst mit. - Dazu ein "sensationelles" dunkles Faßbier, serviert im Steinkrug. - Der Innenraum einfach und gediegen: Eine Zeitreise in die 60iger/70iger Jahre! Freitags Abend: Vorbei an Tischen mit kartenspielenden Männerrunden. Eine Seltenheit heutzutage! - Dahinter der "normale" Raum für Gäste; der neugierige Neuankömmling wird wie selbstverständlich zum Platz nehmen gebeten. - Eine fränkische Eigenart, die sich anscheinend die anwesenden Gäste auf die *Fahne* geschrieben haben. - Ein freundliches, einladendes Lächeln - hier im Gasthaus in "Raubersried" gehört es dazu! - Gleich um die Ecke: Der Bus; Nr. 603, fährt täglich jede Stunde zur U-Bahn, Haltestelle "Langwasser Mitte" - und zurück! - So darf man auch erfahren, dass viele Nürnberger deshalb hier einkehren und immer wiederkommen. - Sonntags: Vielfältige fränkische Braten-Gerichte! Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis: Nehr als angemessen!

Netter Freisitz an wirklich ruhiger Hauptstraße, gemütliche Gaststube und bezauberndes Gewölbe für die Feiern im engeren Kreise. Servicekraft sehr beflissen und freundlich, koordiniert und aufmerksam. Preise, wie man es sich vorstellt und Essen merklich mit Liebe gemacht, geschmacklich tadellos und ausreichende Portionen. Sonderwünsche werden freundlich und entgegenkommend angenommen. Parkmöglichkeiten ausreichend. Einziger "Sterne-Abzug": Lasst die "Weißblech- und Dosensalate" weg ...!!!! Das Essen wirkt ohne diesen "Pseudo-Salat" wesentlich wertiger und glaubhafter! Wenn schon Salat, dann etwas Ehrliches ... ein einfacher Blattsalat hätte vollkommen seinem Sinn Genüge geleistet. Ein wirklich gutes Essen mit einem schlechten Salat (wenn auch gut gemeint) ... lieber ein paar Beilagen (Pommes, Kartoffelsalat etc.) mehr. Ansonsten vielen lieben Dank und auf ein baldiges (hoffentlich ohne diesen Dosen-Salat) Wiedersehen!!! Es war echt toll bei Euch!
